Brian runs a great company. Very attentive to needs and quick appointments when you need him.

They were able to come out the same day when I had a water heater issue. The price quoted was less than anyone else I talked to, and that included the cost of the water heater. He was very prompt with responses to me, and made every possible attempt for the repair to be cheaper for me as well. When I made the call originally, I didn’t know the type of water heater that I had, so when I needed a different type than he originally quoted me, he made the trip to get the correct one quickly, and made sure that I knew exactly why we needed a different heater. I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone, and they will be my first call if I run into issues in the future.

We had issues with our furness not wanting to shut off. We called excellence and they came out and made sure it was fixed. They also change my filter when it needs done right on schedule. I would hands down recommend them every time.

When our AC went out I called two other companies and the soonest one could come out was 3 days, the other was booked out 3 weeks. Excellence showed up next day, fixed it quickly and economically, and Chris was helpful and professional. Well call Excellence first next time. Highly recommend!

Brian serviced my 1960s gas furnace. He took a picture, showed me the problem, and said I didnt need to worry about purchasing a new furnace yet. He also installed a digital thermostat for me. Brian was on time, personable, and his price was fair. I will call Brian when it is time for a new furnace.

Brian is a very nice guy when you meet him but I would never do business with this company again. We had used him when we were having heating problems and he was responsive. When we had to replace our boiler in March 2017 we purchased it through him and have had nothing but problems since the day it was installed. It blows fuses constantly, and we have been without any hydronic heat several times. He had promised to get a rep out here to look at it and it never happened. He stopped responding to my calls and texts. We were out of town this last week and a neighbor checking on the house found the boiler leaking and not working. I sent a text to Brian but never heard back. I found another heating guy in the area and he said it needed parts (if he is able to find them) but the water in the house had to be turned off. No water, no heat in my downstairs and the temp tonight is supposed to be 8 degrees. We will most likely need to purchase another boiler. I’m thankful I have the written correspondence I have had with him. I have never written a negative review but no one has deserved one more.

Our furnace went out in the middle of subzero temperatures. Brian from Excellence came out within 15 minutes of calling, fixed the problem quickly, and gave us an amazing price even though it was after hours. This company definitely lives up to their name. They truly care that your family stays warm and safe in these brutal cold months. Thanks guys!

I had an issue with my boiler and could not get the original installer to return my calls. So I decided to bite the bullet and pay to have someone else come out and repair it. I called Excellence. They came out and inspected. Once they learned I tried to have the original installer fix it Excellence responded that they should fix it for free. They said thats what they would do and that is called integrity. Excellence knew someone that then contacted the original installer and we got it fixed for free. Thank you Excellence. Youve earned my business.

This company was referred to me by my home warranty company. When I called to check on availability, I was rudely told they were too busy. No timeline. I would have gladly paid for their services and waited for them to come out when they had time. Not even an option I guess.

Dishonest! They made a mistake in my attic and wanted ME to pay for it. The receptionist kept saying we took that part off of the total, but I was still being charged for it on the itemized list. They also pushed back my appointment TWICE. They also said they were ordering and installing an attic fan...later during the actual appointment I come to find out they never ordered it AND only an electrician can do that. Well thanks for letting me know last minute. None of the employees are on the same page. Choose a different company. It will save you time and money!

Sloppy. We have been having problems with our radiant heating in the bedrooms of our home so the Home Warranty service contacted Excellence Heating & AC. They came into our home, checked the voltage, told us there was only half of what there should be, charged us a $60 service charge, and then left. They didnt even finish putting the thermostats back into place; just slapped them back into the wall without screwing them down all the way and called it good. I dont know how they are for the other services they offer but we were less than impressed and I certainly wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Waste of time and an even bigger waste of money.

I called several HVAC companies in the area. There were a couple that gave me reasonable pricing but werent very helpful. I feel bad for anyone who goes will First Call Jewel or Alpine Heating and Plumbing. First Call Jewel straight up told me that they didnt want my business because I didnt buy my equipment from them, and Alpines price was triple the cost of everyone else. Needless to say Excellence Heating and Cooling was very personable, helpful, and honest. They have won my referrals and business in the future.

I have never written a review before but this companies experience was such a joke I have to advise everyone to steer clear. This Company is a huge waste of time. They will make constant excuses. You as the customer have to call and do all the follow up when waiting for service or parts. Terrible customer service and the owner has no idea what his employees are doing!

They are terrible!!!!! Brian talked us into a high efficiency hvac unit for our new house that was more expensive than most units but would be cost less in the long run... after months of them doing a little work here and there I called the company that makes our hvac to have a rep come look at what work they had done... the rep was astounded by the poor quality of work they had done and informed me that it more than likely wouldnt work at all and with the small amount of return they had installed the unit would probably freeze up in the summer. I had to pay an additional 4,500 dollars to have another company come fix what excellence heating had done. This is the first house my wife and I have built while starting a family and I Definitely feel that I was taking advantage of and tossed to the side when they realized they screwed up the job, couldnt even get him to call me back to talk about getting it fixed.

Please do not make the same mistake we did and use Excellence Heating for your heating and cooling needs. We came home the evening of the 27th of November 2018 with no heat in our house. I spent that night trying to identify the issue myself instead of calling a repair man. After not being able to diagnose the problem, we called Excellence the morning of the 28th of November 2018. They sent out a repairman to fix our furnace. The repairman explained that the issue was not with the furnace but with our thermostat (our thermostat was a Nest and was installed June 2018). He sold us a new thermostat for $50, charged us $90 for the work and left. My wife left the home as the heat seemed to be working and went back to work. When we got home from work the evening of the 28th of November 2018, we had no heat again. We called Excellence and they sent another repairman out that evening at no charge. After he got the heat working again we asked if we could receive a refund for the thermostat as it wasnt a thermostat issue. He said he wasnt authorized to offer a refund on that and stated that there wasnt a misdiagnosis previously. He said the problem was still with our thermostat. We woke up the morning of November 29, 2018 with no heat again. Finally, we called a repairman not associated with Excellence. He spent approximately 4 hours at our home, the same amount of time Excellence did total, and diagnosed us with a bad circuit board. He replaced that circuit board and our heat is working and we have had no further issues. There was no issue with our thermostat. We have called Excellence multiple times to see if they would be willing to refund us any portion of our payments as they didn’t solve our issue. At first, they were willing to refund us the $50 for the thermostat, but in subsequent communications through the Better Business Bureau, they have rescinded that offer. The only difference in my life prior to calling Excellence and afterward is that I lost $140. My heating wasn’t fixed and they didn’t take the time to do the job correctly.

Very unhappy called 4 weeks ago was promised a call back then i called again was told to send a text with my address and they would be here the following day the number does not accept texts so i called back and got no answer. I called the following day and left a message with my address at 8 am it is now 12 hours later no call. Total wast of time. Poor customer service. Dont waste your time.

Last week I decided it was time to upgrade some of the equipment in our office. I called and got quotes from some of the larger companies in the area, as well as some of the smaller ones. I had heard good things about Exellence Heating & Air, so I gave them a call. They were the only company that offered to come out for free and give us a quote the same day. They also gave us a quote that was 5 TIMES cheaper than the other guys. They stuck to their quote and did a fantastic job on the installation too. The servicemen were very professional and they took the time to show us how our new setup worked. We learned our lesson! First call..Excellence Heating and Air. Thank you!
