The best and most affordable place in town for waxing services of all types. I visit regularly and am so glad that this second location opened, because it is convenient and just as good quality as the Twickenham location. My appointments are always on time, so I am not left waiting up front past my scheduled time, and the services are quick (which is great, because lets be real -- no one wants to prolong a wax). I have never been waxed before going to Cabana. I was nervous before my appointment, but Kaity B. made me feel super comfortable. She walked me through all the steps and taught me how to care for after. I have used her twice now and have absolutely nothing to complain about. This was my first time going to this location and I had a great experience! While it was for a training session for Sarah’s last training day it felt no different! Tori was training her and they both did a fantastic job! I think with more experience as she continues Sarah will become a fantastic wax technician and much more confident in what she does. I have been going to Cabana for over two years now, and I still love it! I started out going to Twickenham, but living in Madison I always wished for a Madison location. I couldn’t be more excited when the University location was built because it takes me 5 mins to get there instead of 20! My OG wax tech left earlier this year. I was scared that I wouldn’t find anyone else that I trust to do my wax. I’m happy to report that Kaity B is absolutely amazing! My waxes are still as pain free as they can be and she is soooo fast. I am usually in and out in under 30 mins for a Brazilian and underarms. Somehow getting my wax has become one of my favorite self care visits. The atmosphere is so tropical and beachy (LOVE that) and everyone is so nice. I have never had a bad experience here. On the off chance that I book late and Kaity isn’t available, any other tech that I have had here has also done a fantastic job. As long as Cabana is here and I have hair LOL, they have a loyal customer in me.

This place is not worth the struggle to get an appt or recommend. I decided to give this local business a chance. I have a Esthetician in Birmingham that I have been seeing for almost 3 years. I have never had a problem. I had been recommended this place by a relative. Well first of all I was not pleased with the store hours. If you are a working woman you never get service during the week. They close at 5:15 Tuesday thru Saturday. So I was able to manage to get an appointment for a simple lip and chin during my lunch break. I walk in fill out the paper and because I am a diabetic and take a 81mg asprin she could not supply the service that I was there to pay for. I walked out and went somewhere else. Got the service I wanted and was very pleased. This place was created for a particular type of person. This place is not for everyone. I would never recommend Katie or Cabanna. I am going back to Birmingham.
