This an old school barber shop. You can get a great cut for your whole family. They cut my boy and girls hair and did an awesome job.The place is clean and the prices are great!!! And If youre lucky you may get to hear the owner play his banjo.The folks are super nice and you know where your money is going. Unlike the big corporate joints.Don’t hesitate and go to this place. You won’t be disappointed.

I decided to give this place a try since I always drive by it and I was very pleased with my Haircut. Ashley did a fantastic job and was very friendly! I definetely recommend this place if youre looking for a haircut place in Huntsville. Also the price is good!

After getting a horrible haircut last November, I simply pulled it back and let it grow out. After 8 months it was time to get several inches cut off, and rid myself of the layers. A friend in Huntsville said she liked The Cajun Barbershop. I figured a simple evening up would be the way to go.This is a wonderfully simple, husband and wife shop. He does the men, and she does the ladies. It is simple and no frills. You go in with clean dry hair, and they spritz it with water and cut it. They dont do color or perms, they only cut hair.Dawn Rachal, is one of the owners, and lists herself as a Master Cutter..and let me say, she is all that and MORE.This is the best haircut I have had in 20 years. And cost? $14. So with tip, right at $20.If your sick of snooty stylists with large egos, and prices that match, perhaps you should try getting back to basics, and this is the place to go.

Went in today and it was reasonably busy, co owner cut my hair and she did a fantastic job. Seem like really nice people.I got a fade and beard trim. Barber lady seemed very meticulous and even trimmed my beard and straight razor shaved the beck of my neck and around my ears. My beard has never looked so good.For the price you cannot beat it, the great customer service is a bonus and it was nice to get a hair cut from someone who seemed to enjoy their job as if it was their trade of choice instead of a paycheck.

The owners are very experienced, and actively train up the other barber and stylist working for them far beyond the basic skills required to get a license. Great pricing with a lot of attention paid to each customer. The shop has a clean family atmosphere and free coffee for customers.

I just needed a trim for my undercut so I probably didnt get the full expierence as most do, but I was pleased none the less. I was in and out in minutes even without an appointment and the prices are very reasonable. Ill definitely be back.

A brief analysis of the shop will show the pricing platform is adequate and industry competitive. In addition, the quality of the service itself is industry competitive. However, listening to degrading comments towards women, explicit and inappropriate language in front of children, and the owners racist ideology towards minorities is far from professional. This lack of professionalism is evident in his reply to a previous review posted below. I respect business owners who deliver a great product at a competitive price. However, when you lack character and professionalism the price inherently doubles resulting from poor customer relations. If you are a woman with children I would proceed with caution, if you are a college student he will tell you how ridiculous education is, if you own a business he will explain to you how his business is better. Absolutely the worst showcase of customer relations Ive ever experienced as a customer. Likewise the most unprofessional and inappropriate actions Ive seen in my business career.

Took my 2 grandsons ages 3 and 2 in for a haircut. Ashley did a fantastic job. Little kids tend to move but she got the job done quickly and even all the way around. Will be back!!

This is a cute small town place. Everyone working there and waiting for a haircut was friendly. Stevi did an excellent job cutting mine and my sons hair. We will definetly make the drive from Spring when it is time for our next haircuts.

Unless you go with the gentleman that is prior service your haircut will be bad

They have poor customer service and do a sloppy job. Ive been there twice, once for a haircut and once for the free edgeup. Both times I had to have them go back and correct an uneven edge, etc. Their customer service is simply not up to par with other barbershops in the industry. They seem to blame their lack of business on their location, but its obvious to me that it has more to do with their below average haircutting skills, customer service, and their lack of knowledge regarding the industry as a whole. Id rather spend $20 at SportsClips or some other well established business chain.

Great barbers who hold conversations and remember you

I have to start by saying that I never received a bad haircut from this barber shop. That was probably the only redeeming quality of this place. But as the one person I employ to cut my hair has left, I am no longer going to this barber shop. What I dont appreciate is the blatant disdain for college students and millennials while pushing other pseudo-religious political ideals. I recall one instance where I was talking to my barber and had said a friend and I were being stupid, not in the literal sense but in a figure of speech alluding to being carefree and silly, and the owner stupidly decided it was important to then lecture me on not being stupid and working hard something us millennials dont understand. The irony being I work 4 jobs and was taking 20 hours of classes while also helping take care of my dying father. Not sure how that makes me a lazy millennial with no work ethic, but okay. Overall this is a very very politically forward business that generally gives off a close-minded conservative ambiance. This is something I have tried to avoid, as a non-partisan, by coming to college. Also have heard some pretty racist things from my friends about this place, but have not experienced that so I cannot speak to this matter.
