Micheals has been a staple here for a long time. I used to get hair cuts here when I was a child. The atmosphere hasnt changed. You find that small town barber who has been honing his craft for decades. You get a real feel of a master barbershop with the familiar faces you know and know you.

One of the few places that actually cut hair instead of using clippers w/attachments to buzz cut.

I been going there for years. My dad got his hair cut there do years. Did I add I am 71 now. Yes I will go only there. Michael knows his stuff with a razor. I always get a razor cut. People complement me all the time on my hair cut. I recommend them. They have 3 barbaras and all 3 has been at it for a lot of years .Go in try it and tell them Carl sent you.

Good old-fashioned barber shop. Used scissors along with clippers for a good cut. Jerry cut my hair, hes been there since 1984. Very nice gentleman. I believe he said the shop had been there since 1960. I think Roosters is all hype too, so this is a good alternative. The only drawback is the location. Thats a tough spot to get in and out of when Im available to go. Sure wish they could open up on Saturday. I still remember going to the barber with my Dad on Saturday mornings. So sadly, Ill keep looking for a place to take my son. For now, this is the spot for me.

Great staff. Haircut is now $15 based on previous reviews but seems to be worth it. No wait time on a wed at lunch

Absolute garbage. I asked for a bit off the tip and to thin the sides, and he did, while doing something completely screwed up to my sideburns (one of which was 2 inches longer than the other). After asking him politely if he could bring the sideburns up to mid-ear, he impatiently agreed. I was also going to add after he did this to shorten the bangs up a bit and thin out the right side of my head more, but he yanked the sheet thing away so fast, I couldnt tell him before he did so. I asked anyway. He then started to complain about how I was wasting his time, and that I aint gon get no perfect haircut in an old mans chair. He did as I asked anyway, this time very quickly, almost violently. I have no doubt he was rude to me because I am younger and he expected me to give him no tip. Well, with a smile on my face I said thank you, tipped $6, and walked out the door. Maybe its just this guy, but he is an absolute jerk in every sense of the word. Didnt catch his name though; he had the chair closest to the door.

Good barbershop. They dont cut childrens hair but if your kid doesnt squirm, they probably would. I could tell this guy (last chair on the right) knew what he was doing from the way he worked the clippers. You cant beat a good, old-fashioned barber shop. Bad part is theyre not opened on weekends but I think they stay open til 7. Double check though...

Took a chance on this place after my last barber quit, and they do it right. The shop is hidden back in the strip mall next to the Kangaroo gas station, owned and operated by the 3 older barbers cutting the hair. Walk in, and its no frills- a small waiting area, 4 barber chairs, and some knick-knacks on the walls (the real deal, not faux-retro). I could tell the barber knew what he was doing when he started cutting. He had the instinct that takes years of work to earn. The haircut only took about 20 minutes, and with all 3 barbers working no customer waited more than 10 minutes. The bad: most of my haircut was done with a clipper (though I keep it fairly short, so it wasnt that unusual). The good: Great haircut, attention to detail, quick, listened and gave me what I wanted. They also had the clippers attached to a central vacuum, which meant I wasnt covered in hair clippings when I left. It was a little loud when trimming around the ears, but Ill take that trade-off. At $12 a haircut, Ive found myself a new barber.

Disappointed. I asked the barber to take a little off of the sides and a little off of the top. All he did was trim around my ears and he kept combing my hair acting like he was actually doing something. I was very disappointed. I do not recommend this barber shop.

Took a chance due to the reviews above, and I shouldnt have. I got--or wanted--a short haircut: a 3 on top, and 0 on the sides. What I recieved: a short haircut, with patches of hair that were NOT cut to the 3 standard. Also, they do NOT take debt cards as payment, who in this day and age, does not take plastic? Run down looking, with poor lighting, and a general sense of decay.
