I was scheduled with this Company through Geico and received a text stating that they were on the way and that it had been completed. I called Affordable and spoke with Wendy whom attitude reflected that she did not like her job and that she was really not happy about being at work. She was being slick at the mouth and kept repeating herself when I was trying to explain to her that the vehicle had to be at a location before a specific time or it would need to be cancelled. She responded well we will deal with that when we get there. I began to to also mention about the service being completed, her response was, it will be 1 1/2hrs eta. Which I understood.However, what I didnt understand was her response with attitude. She hung up on me and upon me calling back to mention that I will be filing a complaint for her behavior to the manager, my service was immediately cancelled. Who treats a stranded female like that. Where is the concern for people? Wendy you should be ashamed of yourself, I pray your daughter is never stranded and left by the side of the road because of someone attitude problem. Be Blessed, and the seed you sowed, so shall you reap! (I hope the manager Daniel gets in touch me, unless he doesnt care either).

Awesome experience!!!!! Another company tried to charge me $250 to tow my car. They didnt have the right truck and wanted me to pay for them to use dollies and pads to help me. AFFORDABLE TOWING came told me what they were going to do, made me aware of possible risks, and got the job done!!!! They did an awesome job!!!!

Affordable towed by Jeep from the scene of an accident. They were timely and easy to work with. We took a tarp to cover it while it was being stored ther but they had alredy taken care of that for us before we got there. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Affordable towing change a tire for my sister and put the spare donut on her vehicle. She drove it approximately 9 miles round-trip to her house and back to work. Upon my arrival to put her repaired tire back on, 1 lug nut was missing and 2 were very loose. Its one thing to pay $70 for a service and it be underwhelming but in this case the results were outright dangerous. Luckily caught it before whole wheel came off! Writing this review because company wont have someone in charge return my call after 2 different attempts of me trying to contact.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! They advertise for mobile mechanic under “services” when actually they just want to tow you & charge you the hourly mechanic rate. We had a battery issue, he brought spray!!! The phone lady, Ms Wendy I believe, was highly rude! Nasty attitude! No help!!

The only reason I gave 1star is because it will not let you give 0!!!! I had my 6 grandchildren yesterday and my van broke down at the intersection in the turning lane at 72 & Hughes rd after multiple attempts for a wrecker service I dialed 911 a nice officer came and gat a tow truck there Only to find out he will only get me off the road not less than 2 miles to my home, my grands are 2 1/2 - 9 they were scared crying burning up nobody was stopping to help on horns being blown and nasty looks. I told the man I have a $10 bill and a $20 Target card he replied well that will not get you anywhere. My grandson said please take us home Mr. he said I can’t do it, & got it to crank drove it out of the way and left. The officer called for another car and they 2 AMAZING MADISON POLICE OFFICERS strapped car seats in their cars and took me and 3 little ones the other one took the 3 oldest home and my insurance ALLSTATE sent CHANDLER TOWING to get my car the driver is name TIM and between him and the 2 MADISON POLICE OFFICERS it was a big sigh of relief for us and showed my grands there are good people in this world and GOOD caring protecting POLICE OFFICERS!!!!!!! Tim who brought my car home was awesome to my grands and me. Thank you MADISON OFFICERS AND CHANDLER TOWING TO TIM!!!! I had waited over 3 hours for an additional company through AAA to show up, and then I called Affordable towing. I had Tried to jump my car but no luck and thought I had to tow it home. Driver shows up within 35min and offers to try and jump it and it worked!!! I’m so grateful that he offered and was so courteous! I’ll not use AAA again and just use these guys, thank you so much!!

Use their service!! I called and they sent someone immediately. Super sweet man on the phone, as well as they guy who picked up my car. Very quick process, and he even helped another woman jump start her car before he left!! He took my car to the shop, perfectly dropped it off into a parking spot, and even put my key in the drop box for me so I didn’t have to drive there and do it myself. Hopefully I won’t need a towing service anytime soon, but will 100% call them again if I do!

To much to write because of everything that happened from start to end but I had my 2011 Cadillac srx towed and the tow truck driver was rude and in a rush. He damaged a part in the back of my car looking for a tow hook and smiled about it. He could of hooked it up the way every other tow truck company does and the way I asked him to. That is now gonna cost me $300 to get a new part. He used a pocket knife to get the storage door open in the back of my car. I asked him if he was gonna replace that part and he tells me no you helped. When he asked me to begin with to pop my hatch. Was suppose to cost $85 is what the receptionist told me then when I looked at my bank account it said $90. Affordable towing was hired to do a easy job and could not do it professionally!!!!!!!!! The owner of this company should be ashamed of his employees and the way they do things. (DONT USE THIS COMPANY!)

You guys towed my wifes car from Huntsville to Hartselle at about 8 oclock at night on Sept 1, 2020. Regretfully I didnt get the drivers name but the guy was top notch. He was very professional, courteous and could put that big tow truck anywhere that he wanted it to go. I was impressed that he was able to put my wifes car exactly where I wanted it because my driveway is tiny and covered with trees. I hate that I didnt get the guys name but whoever you are, we appreciate you sir!

Needed a tow / roll back to recover my 1 ton truck, called and Daniel showed up in about 25 minutes. Very professional and had a great personality. Had my truck and I to our destination in about 45 minutes. Great job, definitely will recommend in the future.

Complete disregard and no respect towards my vehicle. Driver literally said not one word to me during the whole process. He could not line up the car properly and ended up scratching my drivers side wheels while dragging it from a sway bar!!! Called company immediately after and the didnt even apologize, they had just said they would notify management.

I called my insurance company needing a tow. They called AT to come get me. I was told my ETA was 75 minutes. At the 75 min mark I called AT back to ask when they was coming. The woman that answered the phone was rude and said they still had time. I called my insurance company back and they said AT should have been there already. AT finally gave my an ETA of another 75 minutes. Needless to say I asked for a different company. I will never use this company again. Maybe they would do good business if they didnt have such rude disrespectful people answering the phone. Oh and they other company was there in 20 minutes and very nice and considerate. Maybe AT needs to take pointers from other companies.

These guys are great. They had to come out twice when I Jeep wouldnt start. They arrived early both times and were friendly and courteous both times. I wish I knew their names. One young man ended up coming both times.I would highly recommend their service!

I am visiting my brother in Alabama when I needed to get a tow to the dealership ASAP. Called and they were at my door in 30 minutes. Very professional, efficient and courteous. BTW, I’m going to get rid of All State Motor Club since they couldn’t deliver any tow service when I called but I was able to find my own in one phone call.

My fiancé & I went out to get some dinner & our vehicle began to break down on us on the side of the road. We were on a regular Saturday outing to Madison/Huntsville when on the way home, just west of the airport on 565 our car decided to lay down for the Labor Day weekend. From the reviews here on Google I called Affordable who stated they could be to us in about an hour. To our pleasant surprise their truck arrived earlier than schedule (I never thought yellow flashing caution lights on a tow truck could look so pretty) and in a modern late model truck. My second impression, the one that counted more than the equipment, a uniformed operator named David, name patch over his right chest, company name on the left, reflective safety shirt steps out of the tow truck, approached us very professionally and courteously to retrieve our vehicle. Not to mention, his hospitality on our trip home sure made a sh... crappy afternoon a lot more tolerable.Everyones got their opinions, back home I have a towing company Id call without question. But if Im back in the Hunstville area and luck up with car trouble like I did today... Im calling Affordable Towing, I have them in my phone contacts now and in the notes... Affordable went out of their way to deal with several cancelled tows from an insurance company I have been dealing with. Especially the dispatcher and driver who were both very nice. Once it finally got taken care of by the insurance company, the driver (Joe) showed up on time - he was there before me actually, was polite and my truck made it from point A to B safely! They towed my sons car for HPD after he had an accident and he ended up in the hospital.The car was totalled but they charged me over $200 just to get his phone and wallet from his car. Thats illegal.

They told me one price over the phone and once the service was complete they charged me $15 more than I was originally told. I have been going through a lot and just like other companies this towing service loves to take advantage of those in need to cheaper services. If I could I would leave zero stars for this company!!! Do not use this towing company if you want to save money or if you expect what you are told.

My insurance company sent Affordable Towing to pick up my car and bring it to my home. The insurance company paid the first 25 and I was responsible for the rest. The total distance was 37 miles but AT charge me for 25 extra instead of the 12 extra. At $4 a mile thats a difference of about $52 plus they charge a $5 fee on top of that. They blamed the insurance company for the mileage but after speaking with them it turns out it was on AT to determine the difference. After trying to get my money back on the phone it appears they are just not good people. I filed a complaint with my insurance provider and will never accept service from AT again. #verybadcompany

After being left there by mikes wrecker service i called these guys. Blake showed up and took care of everything i i needed and waiting only about ten minutes for him to arrive..dropped the car off inside my garage and everything...low car friendly and great. Service.shoutout to blake.

A loved one of mine had a vehicle accident and the city had the car towed by them to their lot. They told me insurance would pay for the stay. When we went to retrieve the vehicle they charged us over $600 to get it back after my loved one was in the hospital for several weeks.

Im going to start off by saying that I have never done business with this company but after what just happened I do not plan too ever use them. So ten minutes ago I was driving in Madison and one of your drivers let a couple of cars pass them so it looked like they were going to let the rest of us pass. But when it came my turn to pass the man in the passenger side jumped out of the truck and started screaming and cussing at me in the middle of the road. It is heavy traffic and he is just standing there cussing me out at the top of his lungs. I was honestly scared because he got pretty close to my car and I thought he was about to open the door and start hitting me. I get that people have bad days and maybe he had one but thats no reason to start cussing out someone and screaming all sorts of horrible stuff at them. I made sure to look and see what company it was that they were towing for so I could leave a review. If you are ever driving behind one of Affordable Towings trucks make sure you DO NOT make them mad. God knows what they will do.I POSTED this six days ago but I had to edit it because it was not showing up.

I called USAA road side assistance and the drive who showed up from Affordable Towing got out of his truck upset at me for his directions being wrong. Then he asked where the car was and when I showed him he looks at me and says “ that’s not blue” I said I told the lady powder blue. He said “that’s not blue” and walked off. Loaded my car and then just left me standing there. Didn’t say bye, or ask me to sign anything. I would push my car before I would use this company again. I’ll be calling USAA tomorrow and asking them to remove them from the choices.

Great service. Driver was dispatched on a roadside assistance call to pick up a disabled vehicle from my house. He was prompt, courteous, considerate, and patient. His truck was very clean and well equipped, and he took great care in loading and securing my car. When he dropped it off, he left a helpful note for the dealership staff. The whole thing went as well as that sort of thing can go.

These guys are fantastic. I called needing to rescue my boat from a terrible local business and anticipated a quick pick up and drop. After discovering that I could not remove the boat from the broken trailer David did not leave me in a bad situation. When most people would look at the work ahead and decide it wasn’t their responsibility or job he went the extra mile. This is so rare in our current culture. After a mechanical breakdown we called our insurance company for a tow. After being stranded for over 2 hours because the other company didn’t show after assuring us on three different occasions they were on the way, our insurance company dispatched Affordable Towing to come and tow us. They showed up within 20-30 minutes. We started at 9:34pm and finally got help around 12:30 am. They should have called Affordable Towing to start with. Fast, professional service! Thank you so much Affordable Towing for coming to aid us during that nightmare!

Avoid this company if at all possible!My insurance company sent them out to give me a jumpstart. They were short and uncommunicative, and left without explaining anything. I let my car run for a while, and then drove it to a gas station, and it wouldnt restart. I called them back, and the woman on dispatch was equally short and surly, saying I should have let it run longer, and would have to make another request to my insurance company. I did, and specifically requested a different company, who actually noted that my alternator was bad, so it wasnt a battery issue.All that time, multiple calls, and sitting in 100 degree heat could have been avoided if they were professional and customer service oriented in the first place.

I had some car trouble this morning so I had my insurance company to dispatch a towing company. They took over two hours to arrive although I was only 2 1/2 miles away from their shop. They indicated to my insurance company that they arrived and they werent no where near. They are horrible. They kept lying about their ETA. I guess Affordable Towing means they will get there when they can.

I called for a tow and I spoke with Wendy. She was very rude and unprofessional. I suggest that they owners need to check in on there dispatcher you can’t be rude to customers and expect positive reviews and to be called back again. and over charged for a tow that was going 6 miles. $85 for a tow when everyone else was $65.

I had a flat going to work without a spare. Daniel arrived in good time given the situation. He was personable and quick. I told them what tire shop to take it to come to find out they didnt take debit/credit card. Daniel was helpful in recommending another place. They were closed but he made 1 phone call less than 5 minutes someone was there to get me going. They even took debit card lol. Kudos again to Daniel and Ms. Laura who I talked with to set up the dispatch.

Since the owner wants to imply that I surely must mean another company - I dont. Its just been made very clear that his reaction to complaints is to ignore or justify (even trying to spin this to look like a mistake review). The other reviews speak for themselves. The drivers are rude and aggressive. I reported this company to my insurance roadside team. I will not use them ever.

The driver arrived quickly, and was knowledgeable enough about cars to solve my problem without a tow. He was amazingly friendly, and didnt make me feel like an idiot for not being able to fix it myself. Not all heroes wear capes.

Do not use this company under any circumstances they have no compassion they are rude I was moving into my new apartment complex and they could clearly see I was moving in cuz I was unloading boxes from my trunk I even had my lease to prove that I was a resident at my apartment complex and they still told my vehicle and then proceeded to charge me $100 to get my car back and then I had a parking permit on the other one of my vehicles and they stole my vehicle and then made me wait hours to get my vehicle back they have cost me a lot of time and money and they are very unprofessional rude so if you want to do business with the rude uncaring with people who think they can do whatever they want and screw people over then otherwise save your money.

Yall best get a leash on your drivers. One got out in the middle of the road and cussed my wife out.

My truck died and wouldn’t start so I called Geico and they set me up with this company because of my roadside assistance. The guy was on time and courteous, unfortunately he snapped the end of my shifter. The one on the column. The part that bugs me (besides the broken shifter) is that they didn’t say a word to anyone when they dropped it off at the shop for repair. When I asked the shop they informed me that it was already broken when it was dropped off. That lack of integrity by these folks is enough for me to justify my review. People are already in a bad situation if they’re calling a towing service, then the drivers double down on it with garbage like this.

Terrible Service. I went through USAA to tow my dead car. USAA set up the appointment at 9:15. I called them an hour ahead to ensure the pickup, they said they were on time. They didnt show. I called, through USAA, every fifteen minutes after to check, and was told ten to fifteen minutes. No apologies for running late, no explanation. Finally, after an hour late, I canceled service. Dont use.
