My husband and I had to work with Josh and Becca at Rocket City Insurance group and our insurance company involving a repair of a recurring leak in our house. Last year, we had the roof replaced and the leak repaired through our insurance company. Less than 6 months later the leak came back again. We called Rocket City to follow up and have it repaired again. They provided a “2nd opinion” from Yellow Hammer and said it wasn’t due to any of the repair work the insurance company did. We were going to be stuck with bill. Thank God that I requested 3 other professional, unbiased roofing and chimney companies to give an opinion (without informing the companies of the situation) and they all stated that it’s due to the chimney cap which was installed during the roof repair. Now we had to work directly with the roofing company to exchange the cap and repair the interior at no cost to us. My biggest complaint is that I have had to call Rocket City Insurance multiple times to follow up on this issue and adding the security system discount to our insurance. I request call backs, and they never follow up. This situation began well before the pandemic, so that is not a valid excuse. I would not recommend them due to lack of professionalism. When you are dealing with leaks in your house the last thing you want to have to deal with is hassling an insurance company to do their job as well.
