Bill Grimes has been my State Farm insurance agent for 13 years or more. I have never had an agent and his staff be more attentive. Agents Ive had in the past just collect their fee and fade into the background when they are needed. Recently, I needed a quote regarding some insurance I was planning to add, and they did not hesitate to get that information to me quickly and even called to see if I had any questions regarding it. Whenever I have had a need or claim, they have been most helpful in resolving my issue(s). I have had exemplary service with them...always! I would highly recommend him and his excellent staff with no reservations.

I almost left State Farm 20 years ago, after an agent I wont name was rude to my wife and effectively screwed up a repair because he also insured the drunk fellow who hit our parked car, and knew the family. I started shopping around, and in the course of chatting with friends, had Bill Grimes recommended to me. I spoke with Bill, and he assured me he was as disappointed in my experience as I was, and asked for the opportunity to win back my business for State Farm. Bill is as genuine a fellow as youll ever meet, and I felt comfortable giving him the chance at my policies. Over the years, weve had auto, renters, homeowners, and life insurance written by Bill and his staff. Ive had to file a few claims along the way, and they have always been great at helping us through the process, too. Bill and his team are simply the best youll find in the insurance business. No one has ever tried to sell me something that I didnt need; they always search for the best products and prices for my needs; and are always very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this agent and his staff. We had only been insured through them like a month and a 18 wheeler pushed me off the road . I made one phone call and that was it! They covered the rest! One of his staff even said she would come and sit with me or take me wherever I needed to go on her lunch if I needed her. Bill (Mr. Grimes to me) has been my parents go-to for all manner of insurance products for 50+ years, and for me personally since I began driving in 1981. Through the years, Ive turned to Bill for auto, homeowners, health and other policies. When my wife and I started buying investment properties a few years back, we went to Bill for coverage. We now have seventeen policies of various types through Bill. As our insurance need grows, so too does the volume of business we do with Bill. As long as Bill Grimes is in the insurance business, well be buying insurance from Bill Grimes.

Bill Grimes has been a friend of my late husbands family for many years as they grew up together and his family has been present for weddings and funerals, but not there or anywhere to be found when my husband died at age 64. My husbands family contacted him within minutes of his death, and I was told the life insurance policy that had been me as beneficiary for over 18 years of marriage was being challenged by my husbands grown son (my husband left another smaller policy for son). My policy should have been honored but was not. My step son sued me for possession of my husbands body and threatened to have me arrested if I showed up at the funeral. Speechless, I filed suit in federal court for the life insurance policy with me as beneficiary to be paid. In the meantime I had a graveside service. I hired a dove release with thoughts of a soul not being something to fight over possession of while allowing my step son to do the funeral contrary to my husbands wishes, including not having a police escort to show respect, not having a closed casket so the grandkids could see their grandfather. My husband was very upset for not being included in their lives - and last Fathers Day before his death, very angry for not getting a call. The florist called me to say the stepson called to pay for the casket flower arrangement that I had ordered and, since he was paying (thanks to connections to Bill Crimes), the florist apologized to me that he was having to put the stepsons name on the flowers I ordered. After over a year in federal court, just to go on with my life, I settled the case in my favor, but with attorney fees and funds not available when I need State Farm - the good neighbor. State Farm was not there. Bill Grimes should have been sued for professional malpractice except I was too much in shock to put myself through that at the time. He put his greedy family connections before contract law regarding the life insurance, and did not even offer condolences. There are no words for the overall impact Bill Grimes caused by allowing family favors to take precedence over contract law issuing the life insurance with a wifes name on it - at the time of death, as well as for 18 years of marriage.
