Air Degree did a great job diagnosing the problem with our HVAC system and saved us from the misery and extreme heat of a summer without AC. Sam methodically went through the system and determined that the compressor had been compromised by a chipmunk that chewed through the control wires that feed the low pressure cut out switch. It’s great to know that there are still honest skilled HVAC technicians that are willing to do the extra work to diagnose complex HVAC problems and provide friendly service.

Our air conditioner was failing on our main level and someone referred me to Air Degree. I called Lonnie and scheduled a time for him to look at our system. He arrived when he said he would and kept in contact with me while I reviewed his quote. After deciding to use them they again arrived when they said they would and completed the replacement of our furnace and air conditioner in one day. Lonnie and Sam were extremely friendly and answered all my questions throughout the day. They stayed through early evening to ensure the system was working. I would recommend them for any HVAC work and am extremely satisfied with their overall performance.

The technician that came out was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He found a faulty part and replaced it where other companies wanted to just replace the entire unit.Will use again and would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Huntsville area.

Air Degree owner Lonnie Law and COO Sam Billiter are amazing! They have an extraordinary amount of integrity and are exceptionally competent. It is currently cold enough here that it snowed, and the temperature has been in the 30’s and low 40’s for several days. My thermostat was malfunctioning but still working erratically. They tested it and answered my many questions thoroughly and knowledgeably. We decided jointly that it needed to be replaced. Lonnie and Sam looked at my HVAC system, saw it was still under warranty and called the manufacturer to inquire about the warranty! It is still in effect for both parts and labor, but the work has to be done by a specific local company. They told me I could get both parts and labor done for free simply by phoning that company. What ethical standards they displayed! They also had gone far out of their way to work me into their very busy schedule. I highly recommend this company and will hire them myself in the future.

We had a split system in a commercial building. These guys came out on a Monday morning and diagnosed a bad coil that was no longer in production. The entire system would have to be replaced. By 8 pm that same day, it was! They had our office back up and running the same day with an entirely new system!!

Our hvac is very old, but we are planning a remodel soon and need it to limp along until then. The a/c went out the first warm week this year. We called Air Degree and they were able to make it to us that day. They were very friendly and responsive, explained to us clearly what the problem is and educated us on another issue with the system so we can fix it when we replace the system. The charge was extremely fair and reasonable. They were extremely honest and knowledgeable. Looking forward to them coming back to clean the outside unit and eventually replacing the entire system.I will use this company for all my hvac needs from now on!

I have had Air Degree perform maintenance and repairs on my unit twice this summer.
