This store located on east Jericho turnpike. They following the all saftey measures due to coronavirus. Check temperature and allow limited person inside the store. Staff is helpful and courteous. And they clean the counter and signing pad after every customer. Service is quick. Store is neat and clean.
Nice location. The man who was working there today was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job explaining all the other services/offers available to me and when I stated I wasnt interested in making a change at this time he respected that. That is how a salesman should conduct themselves. My transaction was quick and easy and would recommend this location to anyone. If there could be better parking this place would have it all.

The customer service is not the best and I hate that I am being transferred overseas when I call to speak with them to resolve problems, this has happened to me the last several times that I called them.My Internet is always dropping out and they have not fixed the issue or given my any credit for the interrupted service. I have been doing research and I will be switching to Verizon Fios.
They are great when things are good. When internet is working and no disconnections. If it starts to disconnect, dont wait to long and change the equipment, that was the only solution to my issues.
Its great to be able to drop off or switch out a box when/if needed. Also if you lose a remote, you can get a replacement here.Spoke with Dave when I went in to drop off a tuner I no longer needed. He explained in detail the new Altice/fiber system that I was scheduled to recieve a just a few weeks. He was an information expert, and was diligently answering all the Qs I had. His boss gave him the wrap it up nod. While I understand you want to keep the line moving (2 people behind me, and another window was open), its important to offer your customer good customer service. If you cant beat the competition on price, and your new Altice is experiencing some growing pains (as new systems often do), at the very least, you better compete in the Customer Service realm. You shouldnt ever rush a new customer away.Update 05/10/2021Weve since had the new Altice Fiber system installed. We are pleased with its performance, speed is great, no more pixelation of channels, which was so prevalent I stopped watching broadcast channels, and only used the streaming services that could be backed up to catch a lost scene or dialogue.Fiber is the next evolution of networks. Glad to see Cablevision investing in this tech.

Better customer service and prices compared to Verizon, positively. Altice mobile has saved me 200$ a month with great service.. Only gripe was their cable boxed but seems they worked out the glitches and their working much better .
Long wait in the cold! Please be aware that Optimum has every customer, regardless of disability or age, standing outside in the frigid cold in a long line while waiting for service. Only one customer per service employee allowed in the building at a time. What does this mean? If there are two employees, expect 1 to 1.5 hours waiting outside, so wear extremely warm clothes such as base layers, boots, mittens, hat, scarf and your warmest puffer coat, and you should survive your wait. Huntington location has their wait line on the north side of the building, so this means NO SUN during your wait. If they close at 5pm, do not show up past 3:30 or you might not get in.
The best staffing and easy to get new equipment for my Dad and Mom needs keep up the great work 👍

I choose my words very carefully in life. Altice/Optimum is, by far, the worst managed company I have ever dealt with, personally or professionally. If they were in a competitive industry (trust me they are not. Its either them or Verizon), they would have been out of business years ago.

I cannot go into detail about how unprofessional and unresponsive optimum has been. We have 5 business accounts with them. We will be dropping all services. Totally non-responsive to any inquiries. They were double billing us for one location and refused to make any adjustments. They are losing a strong customer and minimal support. If they do try to save, too little too late. Switch to verizon.
Extremely poor customer service; long lines...even for something as simple as dropping off hardware. No excuses for that.

My service kept cooking out Wye there was no shortage. I was due an $85 credit since February and was told to give it 3 days to escalate a d no credit was applied. I called back and reported to customer service representativenes and all they ever say is, I am sorry a out that and they make promises to call me back and dont. Not even a supervisor calls me back.Well its been 3 months and I have been hearing the same line. Until I began recording the calls.
Went to Dix Hills/Huntington location this morning and had a FANTASTIC experience. We had a lot of things to do and NATALIE could not have been any more accommodating. She was patient, friendly, informative, and very well versed on all the products and services that you offer. She is a true asset to your company!
Went today. At least 15 people are outside waiting to get in. Took almost 1 hour to get in. Once you are inside you see 1 person actually serving the customers and 4 more doing absolutely nothing. Talking, walking, joking, etc.. What a disgrace, but I am not surprised. Since the pandemic it takes hours to get anybody on the line if you have a problem. The prices are keep going up as the current promotions expiring and the new ones are not created. This is the Cablevision at its worst going back 20-30 years ago. Different name the same tactics. Make money on peoples misery.
Horrible customer service. Not responsive. Will wait 2-3 hours at a time and then when you get them they hang up. No one ever gets back to us. its terrible. I have never been treated so badly and received the worst service ever.
Ins store was long lines, only 2 people working during rush hour, slow moving. On phone was rude poor service.
My internet service would cut out every few hours which made it difficult to carry on doing my job remotely from home. Internet conference calls were consistently cut off. This lasted for three weeks during which I called for assistance several times. I tried their self help as well as eventually spoke to real people. During this time the outages increased in frequency (from 4-5 times a day to every 15 minutes.) and duration (from 2-3 minutes to 30-40 minutes.) The answer to my problems was always-- we will do a diagnostic test from their office and as a result they had me reboot my equipment-- every time I called After three weeks of this I finally said enough of your diagnostic tests I want someone here. So after calling for three weeks with no solution I then had to wait three days for someone to come-- which is unacceptable as I had raised the issue weeks earlier. The technician was due to come yesterday and never showed up.
Making people wait outside in the inclement weather due to COVID-19 when they could put them inside with their masks on and maintain distance!
Quick and easy from when you get into the store, otherwise you have to wait outside. I returned my equipment and had to wait outside in the rain.

Terrible phone support. I called with two simple questions #1) If I go to the Optimum store can I get one 50 long Ethernet cable to connect a new computer? #2) Will I be charged for the cable or will Optimum extend it to me free of charge or discounted at least since I am a Premier subscriber to the services? I had difficulty understanding the phone rep because of her heavy Spanish accent. I also had to explain what a Ethernet Cable is???? I had to be put on hold three times to get a partial answer. So I asked to be put on with some else that I could better communicate with and was then disconnected. If you want to have multilingual phone reps to reach a multilingual customer base, good idea, but for one to not know what a Ethernet Cable is,,,bad idea,,, and disconnecting customers who are paying a $300 per month cable bill is TERRIBLE customer service!

Optimum is the worst. Customer service has no idea what’s going on anytime u call up. They have to transfer u to multiple departments and then when you’ve had enough they send u to the cancellation Dept to try and save ur account. That’s where they offer u multiple deals to stay. It’s a complete joke and the WiFi is the worst anywhere on the Island
Service has declined horribly since Cablevision was taken over by Altice. I called for service and spoke to someone in another country with an accent that was nearly impossible to understand. We are having issues with streaming and with missing channels. An appointment was made for a time between the hours of 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. I called at 1:35pm because I had not gotten a call and the ROBOT told me that my technician would arrive between 3:12 pm and 4:12 pm. That’s very precise! Why wouldn’t they call me to let me know the tech was running late if they have it down to the minute within a quarter hour? Also was told there would be a charge of $80.00 for the visit. Why am I paying for a repair on faulty equipment or outside lines that haven’t been maintained? It might be time for a new provider.
I have a problem with the cable wire from another location fell down on my property. After making several calls they came out the next day and took care of it. Excellent for the response time. thanks
Their techs are children who know nothing, their customer service representatives are experts in giving you nothing you want, and their company motto is squeeze every penny out of loyal customers so we can afford to sucker new customers with amazing prices... Only for a year The only reason they are still a company at all is because there is no competition, a government promoted illegal monopoly. Only speak to the retention department and threaten to leave, thats the only way to get a deal, or live with a person youre not married to and change the name its under every year
IF YOURE ON LONG ISLAND - GET FIOS!Genuinely disappointed.I have had more optimum technicians in my home than my own family. In the two years weve had optimum, I cannot count on my hands how many issues we have had.- Faulty WiFi- Cable Box stops working (10+ times)- They DUG UP MY FRONT LAWN! ( which didnt help anything! )- Extremely RUDE customer service- Takes at least 10 minutes to get through to a HUMAN- Been hung up on- Lied to about when Techs are coming- Technicians are hours late (always)- Last straw was - we asked to be reimbursed for the 20 DAYS weve had NO CABLE and they refused!If you are considering optimum at all - GET FIOS!

Altice Mobile - review.I ordered a sim online. 2 Days later it arrived by FedEx. Put in the iPhone 6. Ported the old number. Everything was working via both Altice & AT&T networks within 10 minutes (including the porting of my old # over – this beats standing around at Verizon or ATT…etc). You need to have your account, pin from the existing phone company if you want a smooth porting operation. If you follow their instructions in the email they sent, everything should work properly. I hope the live support will get better soon or they will push new users away. And they should not charge a $10 activation fee if it is done by the end-users in self-service mode!Also, information on how to get a compatible phones beside the iPHone is not helpful. I bought 2 S9+ that were unlocked but did not work with Altice.Will come back with an update after real usage.
The in-store experience was very good. The wait was just a few minutes, the attendant was friendly and very helpful. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes.
Way overpriced. Tried getting the bill down, but it kept going up while the customer service quality went down. Excited to switch services.
Terrible cable connection, terrible service. There have been several occasions where workers from Optimum have come to my house to fix the issue, and it is never fully resolved. Plus, every time I call them, its at least a 45 minute wait. I do not recommend Optimum.
The complete incompetence and lack of professionalism shown by these employees is why I canceled my service.

I have never in my life seen such an incompetent, lazy, uneducated “installer “. This man should look for a different profession. We attempted to have optimum/Altice one.... (whatever they are called this week) installed in our home. All the rooms had prior cable wires installed, however instead of locating the entry point of the cable from the outside and the existing wires in the basement, the hack they sent drilled a new hole from the outside into one of the bedrooms. He than split the wires from that point and stapled them to the walls and also ceiling. Maybe this is common protocol for the projects, however it is not acceptable for a private home on Long Island. He than told me to call him back at 11am. Instead of calling him I opted to call customer service... after pressing all the prompts and waiting on hold for 27 minuets I finally spoke to someone. Told her my problem and she stated that what they do now and she even has those stapled wires on the walls and ceiling at her apartment. They never even set up the cable boxes or the Altice One system .... the best part is the installer never has us sign for the boxes or that the work was complete. I would highly recommend searching for a different internet/ TV/ phone provider.

My service was disconnected for your own mix up and no fault of mine and when I called to resolve I was given the run around between technical support, customer service and billing department, it took 9 long phone calls and 2 days to get my service back on, non of ur supervisors came on the line to talk to a paying customer, I will make sure that I tell everyone about my experience and Im in the process of switching to Verizon. Terrible is one word to describe ur company

Unless you intend to pay for the best equipment and packages, be prepared for intentionally delayed services & a dvr that constantly screws up what you record. The wifi sucks too during certain times of the day!! Better off going with verizon, Cablevision was great but optimum is just money hungry....never had these issues until I recently upgraded, otherwise my equipment was at least 5 years old!!
Like anyone should give any cable/internet provider a good review. Lol Lets face it, they are all sneaky and stick it to you any chance they get with hidden fees or jacking up your monthly bill once your contract is up. Every year or two you have to call and complain to get your monthly bill lowered. Not to mention the terrible quality of service or the terrible refurbished equipment they charge you for monthly. Oh how can I forget to mention their tech support is definitely subpar to say the least. They treat you like family when you sign up then once the get your money youre a step child at best! Lucky with streaming they are getting less and less from their victims I mean customers.....lol
