If you drive a Mini or BMW this is your place. Actually even if you dont drive a Mini, this is your place! Dave is great! Thorough, professional and friendly. He ran up a full diagnostic on my Mini Cooper and laid out a servicing plan for the coming year (ie this is what we should do now, this other stuff is fine, but lets watch it...) as well as giving me an overall assessment of the state of my then new-to-me car. Fair prices and great advice. It is obvious they love what they do at Bolts. Go there.
I’ve given them 3 stars. But to be fair to them. I don’t actually know if they do good work. It has been there for a month to have a radio repaired or replaced. At this point I’ve had them just put the dash together so I can take it to a mini dealer. Make what you want of this review
The place was great very professional not real expensive like most BMW places knows his stuff good mechanic
Bolts is the best place to take your car for a reliable fix and honest prices.
Dave and team have kept my e46 in top condition for over 12 years now. They take the time to explain the work to be done as well as options to save where appropriate. They have earned my trust and my business.
I consider myself very handy with a wrench and do things like engine rebuilds at home. But sometimes I don’t have time to work on my daily driver, and then I take it to Bolts. They are as honest and competent a BMW shop as I’ve ever known. I’m not saying the are perfect, just that in 40 years of owning BMW’s Bolts is right up at the top in terms of value and quality work.I recommend them without reservation.
The MINI Masters of Massachusetts. 4 MINIs in the family and Bolts is our go to. Huge parts warehouse for a fast turnaround. Ask about their loaners for big jobs.Plan ahead, theres often a two week waiting list.
These guys know their stuff and care about your car and your customer experience. So friendly and capable.
David and staff excellent mechanics and they care about their customers.
These guys are very helpful and they have the best prices. Thanks for always making it easy for me!
The people at Bolts are simply the best, from your first phone call to your last invoice. Theyre deeply knowledgeable BMW and Mini Cooper experts, they treat you well, and they have saved ne a ton if money. You wont find a better auto repair shop.
Great mechanic and great prices. Love this place and will always come back.
I hate bringing my cars into the shop. Absolutely hate it. Despite knowing how to do the job, I just dont have the space to tackle some things myself. When the clutch in my 07 BMW 530 grenaded on me, I called around for estimates. The dealership, of course, quoted way too high. Another shop in the area sounded unsure of themselves on the phone (at first told me my car doesnt come with a manual transmission?).I sent an email off to Bolts detailing my situation and shortly after, I was called with a quote and my car was on the flat-bed to the garage.Unfortunately, this happened at a time when the shop was swamped so the car wouldnt be ready for a few days. No biggie! I was updated along the way, and got a call back with some recommended services (transfer case fluid flush, gear oil, etc.)When I got the car back, David took his time to show me the broken parts and walk me through what else he recommended on the car. The original quote was exactly what I was charged, which was very reasonable based on research I did. Thanks so much for a great job. Ill definitely be back for any issues that might come up!
I brought my Mini to a local mechanic, and they could never figure out what was wrong with it half the time, or screwed up the repair. This time I decided to try a garage that specializes in BMWs/MINIs.My initial concern was the cost, but I feel the prices here are reasonable. The most important thing though, is finding an honest garage that knows what theyre doing. I feel like these guys were 100% honest about what needed to be done, and they really know their stuff when it comes to Minis.Id absolutely recommend Bolts if you own one of these cars. Top notch.Keep up the good work guys.
Fixed my Honda pilot. 250000 miles. Needed timing belt kit. Solid work. Honest guys.
Friendly & trustworthy
STAY AWAY from this garage! I had them do a simple oil change for my Mini Cooper. They topped off the coolant The heater stopped working and then the engine started overheating so I brought it to the dealership in NH because the car was still under warranty. Mini told me that whoever had serviced my car used the wrong coolant and did not put the cap back on correctly so the coolant had flown out of the car. Mini re-did the oil change for free to put in Mini parts and had to perform a coolant flush - $145. Mini suggested I present the bill to the garage. I asked Bolts to do the right thing, honestly thinking that they would, but they refused to take responsibility. Completely dishonest. I would never trust them with my vehicle!
Knowledgeable, friendly, fair, no BS.
Greatas always good place to do business with
I brought my 2009 Mini Cooper S here and they told me I needed to replace my motor for $12,000 while it was there they didn’t return my calls, emails, Facebook messages, I took it to Joe’s in Worcester for a second opinion and he had it running in no time & he kept me up to date with daily calls to let me know what was going on, let’s just say I paid less than $3,000 to have my motor completely gone thru and fixed! Do not recommend Bolts to anyone, they are money hungry thieves who think just because they have to much work that they can charge for stuff you do not need!
Bought a car from here, had fantastic support after buying the car. These guys know what they are talking about and are really willing to help people out at a good price!
I have a brand new BMW 896 si with overdrive. Its disguised as a 2003 Ford van E250. He has solved some very funky problems. There is nothing he cannot do to fix things. Hes in the right business. Plus, he is thorough and polite and sometimes has a full candy dish. I recommend him whole-heartedly!!
Bolts is just packed with good people. Whereas almost every other garage will try to up-sell you on things you dont need, Bolts garage only suggests replacement when its truly necessary.
I recently did a major service (oil pan gasket, valve cover, struts etc).excellent service and i would never go to dealer again.
Just one of the best auto repair shops I have ever dealt with
Fantastic crew providing quality work at a fair price. Good value!!!
Great serviceVery friendlyVery helpfulWould recommend Bolts Garage to EVERYONE!
Great job, really honest, good prices. I had a lot of problems and they fixed the stuff I could afford and gave really good advice.
Wont go anywhere else for my bmw x3....they are less expensive then dealer and always nail even difficult issues on first fix
