From the estimate to the final handshake, this company was excellent. They installed a new furnace, a new AC unit, and a new water heater. Code required a liner sleeve to be fitted into the chimney for water heater exhaust and the crew made it happen with minimum fuss. Thomas, the crew leader, was very skilled at working with sheet metal to configure a beautiful transition from my older ductwork to the new furnace. The rest of the crew was a well-oiled team, from demolishing the older systems to setting up the new equipment. All the debris and packaging was tidied up as they progressed so the work sites inside and out were well maintained. The outside AC Unit was very thoughtfully positioned, the final appearance of the AC unit and its pad were carefully groomed. Schutz Heating and Cooling is the best!

We were terrified of the minisplit system after seeing in person and on the internet so many awful results. Schutz, both Rebecca in sales and Tom, the foreman of our crew, promised over and over again that they werent like other companies, that they would never do such a thing to anyones home.They didnt lie!! This crew went above and beyond to hide lines in the walls, in the attic, through the basement, wherever they could to make this system as invisible as possible both inside and outside.The results are 100X better than we ever could have imagined. 7 heads went into this house with 2 compressors and.... were stunned. You cant hear the system at all, you can barely see it.They were courteous, knowledgeable, technically trained, careful, polite... when you spend 5 solid days with a bunch of strangers in your home youre supposed to feel MORE THAN READY for them to GO!Thats not what we felt at all! We felt a little sad, Completely Grateful, and hope that anyone reading this understands how hard we are to please and how surprised we are to be far more than pleased!

These folks are great! I bought a house last June turned on the AC and it didn’t work LOL. These folks came out on a Saturday got it fixed went through the rest of my HVAC system wrote me up a quote. Winter came in the furnace didn’t work LOL. So they came back put a new furnace in in the fall. And now they just finished here putting a new AC unit in for the spring. Super nice people!

The whole crew, starting with Becky making the arrangements and Thomas and Kelly installing the AC was exceptional. They were very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. Thomas and Kelly explained everything to my wife and me. Schutz repaired and replaced substantial sections of the duct work in this old farmhouse. What I appreciated most was that each time they had options they chose to implement the best solution for long life of the system. I wont be doing any maintenance on their work for decades. During the installation they made adjustments to address my concerns. They were professionals who were willing to patiently answer all of my questions. Matt provided excellent service after securing the job by providing temporary cooling units to get us by as we awaited for our install to take place. The two person install team was friendly, on time and very clear in communicating everything that would take place during the install. The job was done very professionally, leaving no detail behind. From start to finish this was a great company to work with. They came to our home the same day we contacted them to give us an estimate. Our furnace died. Tom left space heaters for us to use until the furnace was installed. The installers were professional and kind. There was no mess when they left. My heat stopped working, I called Schutz Heating and they were able to be here within 2 hrs. Kadin was very polite. He had on a mask and gloves which put my mind at ease especially with whats going on in the world right now. The price was a little steep at $289.90 but my heat is repaired which I am very grateful for. He explained that the problem was my flame sensor which apparently needed to be cleaned. Thanks for the quick response time and the repair.

Kaden was it right on time and performed the warranty inspection on our heater. He was so professional, kind, informative, and knowledgeable! We will definitely be calling them back next year for another inspection and would use them for any necessary repairs as well!

Called Schutz on Sunday July 12 to fix my parents A/C. Was told $150 for service call, $120/hour for labor billed in 15 minute increments, plus parts. Agreed to the price. Repairman came when I was not there. He charged my folks $150 for the service call and $250 for a level 2 repair . It needed a new transformer. Folks said he was there 1 hour. It is a $30 part. When i called on July 13 to complain I was told they would see what changed and called me back. The lady agreed it was not the billing method I agreed to and promised to talk with a boss and call back. That never happened classic bait and switch move. If you dont mind getting over charged $100 these are your guys, especially on a Sunday

Super fast and friendly from the scheduling and upfront costs . We had our thermostat go out in the middle of the night work up to a freeze if house . Contacted these guys walked me thru what I needed to do and sent a tech out to install our new thermostat in less then a hour from him arriving to leaving . Explained what was going on. Will use in the future.

I called with our air conditioning out during a heat wave. Most companies were two to three weeks out before someone could take a look. The Schultz tech was out the next day and had it fixed within an hour. Great experience.

Arrived on time, fixed the furnace issue quickly.Edit: Unfortunately I will need to amend my previous review. The next day, the furnace began rattling. It sounded like a diesel engine. I investigated the blower motor, and found three things:1. A plastic bag and a bit of some plastic part had been left in the enclosure and subsequently sucked into the blower motor (see photo). This was the cause of the rattle.2. The technician also left their flashlight in the enclosure.3. The technician defeated the safety interlock switch on the front panel, and left it that way. I disconnected power at the breaker, but this could have been a hazard to someone who didnt.

This company is so nice to work with! They helped us in the middle of winter during the polar vortex when our furnace went out. They came that same night and brought brand new space heaters to get us through until the furnace could be replaced! So I knew who to call when the AC went out during the first really hot week this summer. In a word, reliable. They came out on a holiday with no prior notice and fixed the problem. It was a bit pricey, but such is the nature of hvac systems. They were polite and professional throughout. Good to know they are available.

Schutz installed our furnace 4 years ago and we do annual maintenance with them. The technicians are always great. They do have a bit of a scheduling issue with the tech either arriving way before the service window or after it has ended.an administrative fix that that problem would be much appreciated, as I plan to be in my home for the length of the service window.

Brett just finished our annual HVAC tune-up. He was extremely thorough checking all the components inside and outside. When he completed the check-up, he explained in detail everything he serviced. Very pleased with the experience.

I highly recommend this company. Right as the recent blizzard came through, when we were about to have a stretch of 4-5 days of near zero-degree weather and buried under nearly 2 feet of snow, our furnace went out. (on the weekend, of course) Weve used Schutz before and had a good experience, so I reached out to them. Tony came out that day, explained the issue and showed the failing parts, and offered a variety of options, including fixing the old furnace as best as possible. so we could make the most cost effective and wise choice. They offer scratch-and-dents (fully warrantied) when they have them, and good discounts on add-on products when chosen at furnace install. We werent sure of our choice at that point (and they couldnt fix it right then anyways due to the part needed), so he left us with some space heaters to keep the area we were in warm until they could come back once we made our choice. Very helpful!Tony called us back later that evening (a Saturday, no less) to review our choice and we ended up choosing a new furnace. I had researched online and found we were receiving a good deal (partially due to choosing a scratch-and-dent, though nothing major was wrong with the unit) especially for a Sunday install. We cant thank them enough for their assistance in helping restore heat to our house. (in the middle of a blizzard, no less) Everyone was very professional and did the whole job in a Sunday afternoon/evening.

Called Schutz for annual maintenance and because my A/C unit was having a hard time keeping up. They performed maintenance and stayed and worked on the system until I was satisfied with the performance of the system. Good experience overall.
