Out of ALL the contractors we have used Mike is #1!!! During this last remodel, we replaced our windows. It was a high price tag for us, but important on our list. We purchased top of the line Simonton windows. The company we used sent third party contractors that did the worst job. And the company owner could have cared less. After that, I was broken and had enough. HOWEVER, we had to replace our siding. It was failing. After reading all the reviews on Nextdoor, we gave Mike a call. After meeting with Mike, we knew he was the only person we needed to call. We explained our situation and experience with our windows. We were very clear that if it needed to be fixed when they got the old siding off we wanted it fixed. Mike and his crew fixed our home. They fixed the rotting base plates and all the rotting wood. All hammers stopped when we found there was no insulation in the walls. We purchased insulation and they put it in the walls. They never left any part of my home exposed to the elements overnight. They cleaned up every day. They even were able to put in an outdoor light in an area that needed to be lit at night. And those beautiful Simonton windows…they fixed those too. Mike also fixed my heart toward contractors. He did exactly what he said he would do, did it to perfection, and always with joy.The beauty of Mike’s business is that he only takes on what he and HIS crew can handle and what makes good business sense for all parties. He is so humble and gives the credit to his success to his crew. His price for our siding was very reasonable. They only use Sherwin Williams Duration paint. Why? It is the best. He only deals in one kind of window. They are experts in that window. Mike and his crew make it their business to be the best at what they are doing. I am a perfectionist. I am here to tell you that the siding on our home and my now fixed windows are PERFECT!!! Please give Mike a call. CFE gave a competitive bid, but they won my business because of the fantastic reviews on other social media websites. Once the work began, it was easy to see why so many other homeowners selected them for siding. Their attention to detail is top notch from start to finish. Read carefully the contract as it will outline in detail what they plan to do for your job. In my case, they were 100% in compliance. In my experience with construction, it’s very difficult and most times impossible to get perfection from construction work. In my case, their work was perfect!

They refused to quote Harvey damage. I have items that must be replaced. regardless of how it was broken. I guess they are above replacing damaged items. Would NOT recommend them.

Im a very satisfied repeat customer. I used CFE to replace 24 windows at my old house over 10 years ago and then used them to replace 20 windows and a sliding glass door at my new house a few months ago. They did quality work both times and they didnt try to upsell me. The new house has two half-round windows in the attic. Rather than pushing me to buy new windows, CFE painted the old mullions to match the rest of the new windows. This saved me hundreds of dollars and kept the HOA happy.They provide hassle-free warranty service too. The window above the kitchen sink at the old house was broken several years after the windows were installed. I called CFE and sent them a photo of the product information tab on the broken window and I had a new window installed at no cost within 2 weeks.I also used CFE to install a 12 x 22 wood patio cover at the new house. They did a great job. The cover is well constructed and they seamlessly tied it into the house and reroofed the back slope. It looks like was part of the original construction. They were also very detail oriented. The electrical outlet and light/ceiling fan switches have weather-proof covers and they installed LED bulbs in the can lights.Part of the patio cover project included installing a door where a window existed, removing a set of French doors and installing a window where the French doors had been. Again, their attention to detail was evident. CFE installed a nice built-out trim detail at the bottom of the new window. They also did a good job of matching the new drywall to the adjacent drywall where the French doors used to be and patched some large holes in the wall before they painted.Ive recommended CFE to friends and they have been happy with the results. Its hard to find a good contractor. CFE is a great contractor.
