A convenient, talented, friendly experience!!! I took my family here one afternoon to have my sons first haircut. They did an AMAZING job! I was dreading what would happen because my son is super energetic all the time and I wasnt too sure about having him hop around with scissors close to his head. We determined that our poor boys curls were getting out of control, so it had to be done.Ms. Jeanine, sat him down on the stool and started a very positive and fun rapport with him. My husband offered to hold him and she told him that it was better for our son to be very loose and relaxed to have a good experience. We were reluctant but we listened and well...she was RIGHT! He enjoyed her floating around snipping here and there (amazing patience and cutting precision). After she was done, we all cheered and our baby laughed and clapped his hands! Instead of shaving his head (like any other salon would have done for convenience) she equally trimmed them back and brought them down to a mild roar so that they were nice clean-kept curls, instead of crazy ones! LOLAquene salon is AWESOME! They are awesome with color and everything with above. Confirmed great for everyone in the family! From picky red-headed wife with particular image standards (me, ha ha!), professional clean-cut husband, to bouncing baby!

Ken knows how to do blonde! It’s hard to find someone in Houston who can do blonde well, but Ken never disappoints! The first time I saw him was for a color correction, and I couldn’t believe how he brought me back to blonde in one visit! He also uses different brands depending on what your hair responds to best. I also love his personality, and he often has me laughing out loud during my appointment! Quiet, small salon in a convenient location.

Jeanine has been my hairdresser for many years - she runs a first class operation with very the best stylists and colorists in Houston. The atmosphere is classy as well as the people.

I called a couple of weeks ago to make an appointment with Lawerence. He comes highly recommended by a friend. When I called the receptionist had a little attitude but I ignored it. I was so excited for my hair cut scheduled the 15th at 10am. Well today I got a called by the receptionist to confirm an appointment for the 14th with Sandra. I don’t know a Sandra and second I scheduled it for the 15th. So all the info was incorrect. Instead of trying to make it work she is yelling at me and telling me that I didn’t ask for Lawrence and she never makes mistakes. I mean it’s so unprofessional. She hung up on me. I hope Lawrence can call me back because I would hate for him to lose a client because of her!!

Aquene Salon is fantastic! From the professional expertise to the bright and calming décor to the excellent customer service, it’s a complete package. When I go for my highlights/lowlights, I tell my husband, I’m going for my therapy. Love this salon!
