Price gouging at its finest! I called this establishment to come out to fix 1 small drip. I was quoted over $500.00. There were two gentleman that came out. The tall guy(don’t know his name), processed to tell his partner to hush, be quit you don’t say anything when he was trying to tell my husband what he could possibly do to fix it himself because the estimate was ridiculously expensive. At that point I knew this appointment was going to be interesting, he didn’t even have respect for his co-worker in front of customers. The taller gentleman proceeded to quickly rattle off pipe measurements and this, that and the other. Then all in the same breath he told my husband now sir, all I need is the $ 69.00 for coming out and we can get out of your hair. Mind you now this whole conversation took every bit of 3 minutes tops. My husband followed them outside to make payment, the taller gentleman noticed a truck (collectible) sitting in the driveway that he had no problem standing there discussing for over 10 minutes. This young man has no customer service skills what’s so ever. And seriously $500.00 for a drip!!! Do better Roto-Rooter do better.

We booked our service online and had an appointment within half an hour. 45 minutes prior to someone arriving, we received a call giving us the name of our technician and alerting us to their COVID protocols. The price was high, and I felt they used scare tactics to convince you to replace instead of repair, but since I just wanted to have hot water and get back to my routine with minimal effort, I agreed to replace my water heater. $2,600 and a couple hours later, I could enjoy hot water and the peace of mind I have a new unit. The techs were polite and efficient. Its the value that is questionable, but if you have the money and want a quick and reliable fix, sure.

Put an order in online this morning for service, they were out within a few hours to work. Moved into new place and both bathroom faucets were leaking. I purchased new ones and needed them installed. Jonathan came out with his helper and they inspected everything before doing anything. Explained the process of installment and possible contingencies based upon the existing plumbing situation. It all went smoothly and the brand new faucets look awesome. They cleaned up after themselves and left it all tidy. I would highly recommend Roto Rooter, the price was reasonable for the time spent and work done. They are also very friendly and had no issues with the dog. Will be using them again for the kitchen project coming up soon.

Needed the guts under a sink replaced. The original p trap ect were decades old and needed to be replaced. I was very happy with the plumber and the work done but I feel it was considerably more expensive than it should have been. Entire visit including a trip to the store to buy parts was less than 45 minutes and price was 557 dollars after discounts and coupon. Its done correctly though and I didnt have to mess with it.

The technician Dan Malogaive introduced himself and explained what needed to be done to fix the problem, he was very professional and courteous.He also answered my questions I had and also showed me the job when finished I diffently will use Roto-Rooter again.

We had a leak in our ceiling when a toilet would flush.. they came and diagnosed the situation quickly. They gave us options for repair that helped us choose what would work financially for us. Felt they were honest, explained everything well, professional and friendly!

Mike (licensed plumber) and Carlos (in training) arrived on time and explained thoroughly the issue and how theyd fix it. Carlos explained the estimate and after we approved, they repaired our broken pipe (in light rain) in a timely fashion. (Hurricane Nickolas knocked over a fence post that fell on our exposed sprinkler pipe). Mike walked us through their fix and what to do going forward to protect the system.

We had our french drains flushed out due to some drainage issues we were having in our back yard. Rotorooter used a water jet system to flush the drains. Our technician, Sebastian Rodriguez (technician #2541) was THE BEST. First of all, Sebastian took his time and answered all of my questions regarding the process. He explained everything thoroughly and made it easy to understand. When it came to doing the actual work, I asked him if I could watch him and he allowed me to follow him as he was doing the job, explained each step as we went along and again, he answered every one of my questions. It was obvious to me that Sebastian is an experienced professional and that he cares about providing quality work and customer service. In the process of performing the work, Sebastian discovered 6 drain covers around my house that were covered in thick grass. I didnt know they even existed.I felt he went above and beyond by digging each one out individually to make sure the job he was doing was done right. He made a big impression on me because a job that he expected to take him 20 minutes took just over an hour. At every step in the process, Sebastian exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Sebastian and the Rotorooter team to have any of your drainage work done in Houston.

I complete a request online for services to be completed for my garbage disposal. The tech who came out, Michael felt that he could assess the situation by just taken my none expertise to say that the disposal needed to be changed completely. While his assessment may have been correct, I would have felt much better had he even looked that the disposal to confirm that it was actually something that needed to be changed. He then continued to tell me that he didn’t have to look at the garbage disposal because he has been doing plumbing for 20 years. Of course I will be using another company and never using Toto-rooter they are expensive and unprofessional. Stay away from this company they are concerned about there bottom line and not helping people.

Roto-Rooter has well trained specialist for unclogging the home drain lines. They used a hydro-jet machine, which is like a power washer made to clean drain lines. The technician was expert in the use of the equipment and precautions because of the high pressure water cleaning.The drain lines are now perfectly clear. He inspected the lines with a camera and allowed us to view the whole plumbing drain system.All very professional, fast and efficient.The cost was a little higher than I expected. They got the job done when the regular plumber failed.I will call Roto-Rooter again, and recommend them to everyone.

I am extremely disappointed on this company. I requested services for 2 small leaks one in the master shower and one in the kitchen. There were 2 guys that came the same day and i was surprised because the appointment was not until 2 days later. The guys said, I have the appointment for today and he looked at the job and said well, some one will come out on the schedule day then. To make a story short, I met with Jesse, the technician and he looked at the job and was charging me for things that were not needed. After a few discussions I decided not to pay for the job because it was WAY to expensive for the small jobs. The technician could care less and charge me $70.00 just to show up and look at the job. I would not recommend doing business with this company, Its a rip off!!

I called y’all out and as the technician was pulling in the driveway we hit the water main with a trenching machine. He assessed the situation determined a call back was necessary and was back the next morning and fixed the bathroom. Professional from start to finish and understanding when the unexpected happens. We were very pleased with the service. When a pipe unexpectedly began leaking, the were able to come out that same day to repair it. Within hours, the water damage team was also on the case. Taylor and his crew were professional, friendly and didnt hesitate to help us file a claim with our insurance.

Our plumber showed up at the scheduled time, was very considerate of our house (he put on shoe covers whenever he came inside), explained everything he was doing multiple times to make sure we understood what was going on with our toilet. The toilet has been working great since the fix.

I can’t say enough nice things about Mark Angerstein and Jason who were the crew that came out to handle the mitigation at my home caused by a busted pipe due to the freeze.These guys are a two-man show they did everything on their own and worked from morning to night to try to get the processes going at my home. These guys are impressive and very hardworking! It’s truly inspiring to say the least.From the moment Mark walked into my residence he honestly didn’t waste any time. After Mark explained the entire process he got right into it and started working, I was blown away by their work ethic as they stayed working late that evening.Mark and Jason worked as quickly and efficiently each day. Any items I didn’t get to pack up and move out of the way they packed, labeled,  moved and handled with care. Each room in my house was closed off as they worked to avoid any additional dust.Mark was professional, courteous and always available to answer any questions or concerns we had as he made sure we were comfortable with the entire process.

My tech was Mike (Michael P. Harris) tech #2627 from Roto-Rooter in Houston, TX and he was an absolute pleasure to work with! From the get go Mike was super friendly with me, my wife and my daughter and he provided an unprecedented level of service. He told me up front that this would be a little pricey to repair but offered to have me watch so I could learn and do it myself next time! He took extra time to show me the process and talk through the how and why to identify and prevent future problems. I highly recommend Mike and Roto-Rooter. These folks are highly skilled and trained professionals and while the work may not be cheap they teach you and walk you through their process which was invaluable. At the end of the day not only do you pay for work but you also pay for the knowledge of how to do this next time. 5/5 stars!

Came out and told me to fix a sink clogging, they needed to break a piece under the sink and they would have to get a different technician out to do so. I unscrewed everything under the sink and fixed it myself in 15 minutes. Thanks for nothing. But at least I saved money on what they thought was a quick come up off of me. Will not recommend

I had a clogged toilet and other businesses couldnt fit me in for 2 weeks. Roto-rooter scheduled me in for 2 days from my call. They came a little late but called very early on to let me know they were running behind. Fernando was my technician. He was very friendly and thoroughly explained the possible problems, solutions, and cost before doing anything. Luckily it was just a clog and he was finished very quickly. He also wore a mask and socially distanced when able, which I appreciated. He was also clean and careful to not leave a mess or causes scratches. He was very informative and gave me some good tips about avoiding future issues due to the type of toilet in my home. The cost was reasonable especially after an online coupon. I definitely recommend and will use them again if I run into another plumbing emergency.

We needed to have our entire house re-pipe. We called Jeffrey # 4007 of Roto-Rooter because we new that his work will be first class, quick and professional. Jeffrey did an excellent job for us in February on pipe restoration. Jeffrey, Kyle and John worked on re-piping our house last week and did a great job, paying attention to the smallest detail. Our house has high ceilings and so there are some very tight and hard to reach areas in the attic. Kudos to you for having awesome employees like Jeffrey, Kyle and John. The serviceman arrived on time and quickly solved the problem of 20 years of accumulation in the buried kitchen sink pipe that exited the house. All costs were on the fee schedule and disclosed upfront. The service itself is a little pricey, but that seem to be the nature of plumbing services. I was able to apply a $75 discount. The serviceman was a very nice man who was not only courteous and friendly, but also took care to leave no messes.

I was hesitant to give it 3 stars, but its mainly around price, not quality or responsiveness. I had a leak under a sink and knew it was just the connection between the sink and the trap....maybe a $20-30 part. The quote came in at $420 with confirmation that parts were $20. I get that you are paying for the expertise, but the job took less than an hour. $400/hour seems very excessive to me. Luckily I found a coupon for $75 off on the website. For this reason alone, I will not be using your services in the future unless its an emergency.

It hasnt been three weeks and my sewer line is plugged up again on a Sunday evening! Tried calling the repair person but his voicemail isnt set up, how convenient. The service guy said he set up a camera service to come and run it through my sewer pipe but that never happened either! I can NOT recommend this business at all. Way to expensive on top of everything else! Find someone else!

It was a very bad experience to use Roto-Rooter service and will not use them again for 2 main reasons:1. They were not on time. Scheduled service between 9-1. They showed up after 2 pm after many phone calls!2. They charged me almost $400 just to replace the dishwasher hot water valve under the kitchen sink! It was a total rip-off claiming 2 hours of labor on the receipt.I advise against using Roto-Rooter because you throw your money down the drain. What a shame!

Managed to unclog the drain that was blocking the sink and disposal and dishwasher, however dishwasher failed to drain and is not plumbed back in properly.

Highly recommended! We had one plumber come previously and did not have the right tools to handle the job, then ghosted us when we asked when he was coming back to finish the job. Called roto and they sent someone out the same day. The technician was a king. Even though we discovered that our home was piped incorrectly (would have never known this were not for the technician) he worked his face off and successfully cleared the clog for us despite adverse plumbing conditions.

My water heater stopped operating. Dan inspected it and got it turned on after some trial & error but said he didnt know why it went out. He said he could clean the screen but said it looked clean and if I wanted him to clean it he would but he would have to charge me upwards of $300 if he spent too much time here. I told him I didnt know what the water heater needed, thats why I called your company. He said if I continue to have problems call Whirlpool, the manufacturer. He said it still should be under warranty since I bought it in 2015. He charged me $115 and wished me a good evening.

Called in the roto rooter team to unclog the bathroom drain. Cleaned up the drain in 10 minutes.Pros:Guy showed up in time, same day service. There were no issues in scheduling them.Cons:- Pricey, charged $400 for cleaning the drain (pulling hair and gunk using a snake)- The plumbers english was very bad, so did not really understand what he was saying- I have a plumbing re-route under the house, explained him that there is a cleanout 10 feet from the bathtub and it should be an easy clean. He made it sound like he was going to dig under the house and it will take him hours to do it. I understand in plumbing lot of things are unpredictive but in this roll of dice I lost.I would have appreciated if he was a little honest after i told him what the issue was, he still said the re-route has nothing to do with it and it will still take him time to clean broken pipes. I didnt argue with him because he got the job done at the high price he quoted.WIll i call them again? Maybe yes, but only if the situation has a high level of urgency. Otherwise i will call in some local plumber who can do it for fraction of the cost.*****Update****Their support team called me after investigating the instance. I was refunded $75. So I do appreciate their customer service and willingness to serve the customers. Might call them again depending upon how urgent the situation is.
