Took in a old wall clock for repair and restoration. The gentleman had for about 6 weeks. Clock worked for about a month. Returned clock for adjustments, but never worked correctly. Returned for third time, kept clock for over month. After being told 2 different stories of repair, finally picked up. Gentlemen stated it worked fine. Stopped working after 12 hours. Very frustrating.
Very nice owner and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend taking the watch here for repairs.
I am an avid watch collector and have known Van, the owner for over 10 years. I highly recommend him to anyone needing their watches maintained or repaired.
I visited here twice.First visit was not bad but I was totally ripped off at the second visit. My cheap mechanical watch had the stuck seconds hand. He charged me $60 for opening the case back and giving a little tap on the balance wheel with tweezer. He claimed he disassembled the whole movement and assembled it back, which is a total lie. How do I know? Because the same problem happened after the visit and I now can fix the problem by doing that exactly.I would not be surprised even if someone said the movement of his Omega switched to Seagull movement in that store.Dishonest, rude person and dirty shop. Will never visit. You should too.
Very quick and friendly.. Great service!
Did a good job while I waited but really, really pricey. $65 for three battery replacements and a pin in a watch band.
Came In for a watch battery replacement. I was out the door in under ten minutes. Great work and great price.
I took my Invicta watch to have the band and battery replaced. The service was excellent! I will have all my watch service done here.
Highly recommend this businessMy wall clock me chine was out of sync I contacted a few other clock repairs and they did not even want to touch my clock because there are no longer parts available for it. Just needed a simple hand adjustment. Definitely will use them again.
I found this place online a couple moths ago. I was skeptical and afraid to come here due to other bad experiences with other watch repair shops. Other shops send their watches to 3rd parties and act as the middle guy and you end up paying double the cost. This is not that type of place. Place is ran by a mom and pop. Two wonderful couple. The owner has been a watchmaker for nearly fifty years or so. Brought a couple watches to this place and were fixed with in 24hrs. Other repairs that are more complicated can take a while. The repairs here are first class repairs and their work is always guaranteed. They can fix anything from a Patek Philippe to a Casio. Bring them anything and you will get the same first class service and work.
Excellent workmanship and great follow up service
Good service 👍
Watch and clock guys are hard to find....this one is worth knowing about....has fixed many watches and all of our wind up clocks....he knows his business..
I needed a few links removed from a new luxury watch. I thought about doing it myself but so glad I brought it here instead. The owner was very gentle with my watch and took his time. I was maybe there for 20 minutes. After I tried it on, he felt like further adjustments could be made and again spent a few more minutes on the watch. I had a chance to browse the selection of used watches and was very impressed. I will definitely return in the future for all my watch needs.
Good service my watch needed 5 batteries and did it fast and for a good price
Highly recommended! Experience, friendly and affordable.
Excellent work. Great customer service
Best experience in watch repair ever. I took a family heirloom timepiece here thinking all I needed to have done was a battery replacement and thanks to the careful eye of the attendant, I found out that the last time I let a less reputable service at Sears downtown change the battery that they damaged my timepiece. Thanks to World Time Services, my battery was installed and the damage to my timepiece was fixed in a matter of an hour. I sat and watched the masterful attendant of World Time Services as the job was done to my satisfaction. Very cost effective and didnt hurt my wallet... I can not thank World Time Services enough!
Nice gentleman. He is master watch-smith. He knows his craft.
Went here today 03/04/2019 and it was superb! The owner is a talented, skilled and knowledgeable watch connoisseur. He fixed my watch very quickly and even helped replace my worn out wristbands with much better ones. The price was very reasonable with the excellent and friendly service. Will definitely be back soon with more watches I need fixed. I Highly recommend everyone should come here for their watch fixing needs. And he fixes ALL kinds of watches even Rolex, Movado etc. you name it!
Went in to get a second opinion on a watch that I thought needed a battery. The gentleman informed me the watch just need to be placed by a window so it could recharge. Another place I had gone to before told me they could replace the mechanism for a cost of $80. Thank you for saving me $80 with your honesty.
Went in for a watch battery, for my Skagen watch, and they found a problem with my crown (which I was aware of, and lived with) as I could only wind it forward, if I tried to wind it backward, it would unscrew from the watch. They fixed that too, while I waited. The whole deal.... $22 !! WOWWill remember this place the next time I need a battery and am in Houston!
They did a wonderful job repairing our cuckoo clock.I brought them my grandmother clock (it was 50 years old and been moved to 5 different cities in 3 states) its running like its brand new.
I am very happy with the work done. A pleasant experience & the price he quoted was the one I paid. I will go back.
Very knowledgeable and extremely professional
I went in to have a part replaced on a vintage watch I got for my dad and the shop-owner told me that he’d do it if I really pressed him to do so, but that he’d feel bad for taking money to devalue a fine, vintage watch by replacing an original part with an OEM. He was soft spoken and kind, but clearly very knowledgeable with over 50 years of experience. In the end, I had nothing done and spent no money at this shop, but if/when I ever need something done for one of my watches, I’ll certainly be back.
Good guy, good work. Not the cheapest labor,, but you get what you pay for.
They fixed my watch (could not put the back part back on), replaced the battery, and the total charge was a reasonable 10 bucks (credit card accepted). Entire process didnt take longer than 15 minutes.Very satisfied with my experience here!
Treatment was good. Service was prompt. Thanks for the help watch battery on deck.
