This place was AWESOME!! We drove an hour to get there. We purchased a 5 x 10 box trailer and it’s nice! This is our first trailer so we had no idea what attachments were needed to properly haul the trailer. Turns out they have all parts and even a shop with bays to install your equipment!!!! They have a customer for LIFE!!!Thank you Bob and Ingrid!!

Overpriced extremely slow dont take care of customers in the order they come in, I only come here because my boss makes me, Update was forced to take it here again never put the pins back in the trailer gate almost lost a brand new gate thanks to their excellent installation!!!!!

I bought a trailer about 2 weeks ago here and i honestly thought i would get a horrible experience but no its actually been a great experience! . i didnt notice until the following week one of the studs was cross treated (my fault i didnt notice before buying) but i came in told them about it and they actually fixed it without any issues or questioning . i highly reccomend yall come here. Oh and the trialer? Its a money maker! Lol

Ive tried to call them several times asking for information about estimates and servicing. Their customer service is the WORST. I hate to leave bad reviews but they act uninterested in getting business and I do not recommend them. Plenty of other trailer spots in houston.

This place is AWESOME! My trailer was damaged and i had to get it fixed, so they gave me a great deal on a bigger trailer to rent and loved the extra room. I traded my trailer for a new one. They do trade-ins, sales and service!

Rented trailer from them three times. Picked it up today and took it back today they said we bent and axle. I dont understand how one yard of topsoil and went back and bought one yard of mulch. Can break an axle. Changed us $150.00 for something we didnt do. only gave them one star because, I had to, thats the only way I can put a review in but this is the worst place I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Save your money and your time and find someone else. 0 stars is what they deserve.

I rented an 18ft flatbed for an afternoon to haul equipment to a customers shop. It was a simple process, without any hiccups. They have some of the lowest pricing in Houston, and also allow for one day rentals.The customer service was 4 out of 5. I would recommend it to the next person, but I did not leave with the thought of pure impressiveness.The next time I need to rent a trailer, or a friend asks where they should rent a trailer, I will be suggesting and returning to Trailer City Houston

I have been renting trailers from this company for over a year now and it gets nothing but more and more costly. When I first started renting there i would only pay the rental fee well after I kept coming back now all the sudden I always had flats that needed to be replaced and now they charge me twice for the jack that only broke once. I highly recommend going with another place to establish repeat business. I am searching for another rental place that I can build business with this company takes more and more of my profits the longer I work with them. Save yourself the time and effort go somewhere else!

A Professional Family Business BFF for my trailer.Trailer City has been fantastic for my West Houston (14 Dump Trailer) repairs. They are always very nice and do great work on my trailer at a very reasonable cost. I just had my lights and wiring repaired which I had destroyed. We just love the owners wife, she is so sweet and what a beautiful baby grandson she was blessed with recently. The mechanic is also a nice man and does good work.

Were a lot of help during our Harvey rebuild of our home. Fair pricing and friendly, helpful staff.

I dont understand all the bad reviews. Went today and was warmly greeted by the entire office. I asked about a specific trailer and they pointed me right to it and said someone would be there shortly to help me. In less than three minutes he was there detailing all the features and answering questions. We noticed a damaged pin on the connector, and they had it fixed and ready to go before the paper work was signed. They even offered to expedite the registration paperwork when I told them I was leaving in a week to take a seasonal job out of state. The whole experience was great. Got the trailer I needed, paid the right price, and all in the relaxed atmosphere of a family owned and operated business. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Bad services

I would rather drive across town to another trailer company and let them keep my business trailer for a week than stop here and deal with Jonathan for 5 minutes. Jonathan, and his grandparents are the WORST at friendliness, customer service and being anything other than rude. And they have the nerve to be the most expensive. NEVER AGAIN, EVEN IN AN EMERGENCY. Do yourself a favor go ANYWHERE ELSE.

Went to install hitch on my truck, if I didnt need it in a hurry I would have gone elsewhere. Sales person didnt offer any options and acted like there is only one hitch out on the market also when asked he knew none of the specifications. Even though place is on expensive side in my opinion, install was supper fast and well done.

I bought a used trailer that was priced more than fair, they even thru in some extra welding work I wanted to get done. I had the hitch installed along with a electric brake controller, I was in and out within a hour. Excellent service and friendly staff over there. Was a pleasure to work with, I would recommend this place to everyone! Make sure you ask for cash discounts!!

If I could offer a negative star review I would. Absolutely the worst experience I have had as a consumer. I inquired about renting a trailer and was treated as though I was invisible. I am a potential customer not a piece of furniture. The staff is unwelcoming and the place should honesty be shut down. I asked for pricing on a trailer not the laws as to why they dont work on Sunday. Horrible, do not come here simply drive by.

Ill never come back to this place, clay has an attitude since day 1 i called. I went in because i hit a pot hole with my trailer and my trailer wheel was slanted after that and it was rubbing. I went in telling them my problem and they suggested they would just re pack the bearings. I came back to pick up trailer and it was still the same. They said axle was bent but not bent enough to replace. I drove off and tire was still rubbing. I called monday after that Saturday and spoke to Bob the owner and i told him the situation . I asked if i could bring it by and if it could be redone the same day and he said to talk to clay and that yes that wouldnt be a problem. I get there and clay says he cant do it that day when i had clearly asked if it could be done that day. Overall a bad experience. The technician was the only polite person there.

I rented a trailer there to pick up 2 yard of mulch, and when I returned the trailer, they charged me $135 that the axles of the trailer are bend, which is white lies. They are very rude and arrogant, not a good place for business.

I was needing a trailer for my lawn care business and I went there to just look and get a quote. John helped me answered all my questions and even printed out a quote for me. I asked if they could mount a weedeater rack and a leaf blower rack and he said yes. They have the weedeater racks in stock and they do not have a leaf blower rack in stock. But he said to bring your blower and their guys in the shop could easily fabricate one. Very nice and professional family owned business. If your needing any type of trailer I highly recommend them. Their prices are very competitive and they will go above and beyond to help you with your trailer and accessories needs.

Before yall read all of this let me tell yall I am paralyzed and wheelchair bound so I cant do a whole lot for myself as it is. With that being said please read on.I rented a trailer from these jerks and when I return the trailer my battery went dead and so I ask for a jump start.The head shop guy was already giving me attitude. So he gets somebody to help me and hey brought out this forklifts with bad jumper cables. It did not do any thing. because of the cables but we didnt know. So then the worker brought his car and parked it in front of my car and then he was pulling his cable out the head Shop guy came over and told him what the hell are you doing and then he came to me and told me they already tried and thats it youre on your own. Now Im a little angry and upset that they are being like this so I go to the office and tell them my opinion to one of the people (I dont want to out nobody) he tells me he knows and then I should tell the boss because the boss doesnt believe that person who works there and he says a lot of people complain that, that guys is a jerk. So the owner said he would go talk to him see what they can do. He then came back and told me that they tried twice to jump it which is not true they only tried one time and I told that which he said his guy try twice and right then and there I knew the owner is a big jerk to. My mother in law had to come there with her little Dodge Dart we hooked her cables and I rolled to the ignition and it cranked right up with in seconds. Thats all it needed was a tiny boost. And that made me miss my Dr. appointment! Please Please Please dont go her! take your business elsewhere!

Absolutely worst experience ever. They literally have no customer service or care about you once they get your money. They gave me a trailer with a flat, I called them immediately once I realized when I loaded the trailer less than half way, they told me it was my responsibility and to get it back on the due time or else get charged more. I understand they don’t have to come fix it but they literally are so rude and just trown the blame at you. After I tried using the dump feature on the trailer and guess what it don’t work again I called and they pretty much said tough luck. Once I return the trailer after I had to put a tire at a tire shop since all the lugs nuts were stripped. Once I got it there they tried blaming we for a broken axle and many many more things. Oh yeah and they don’t even have a lock for the dump doors I’ll post pictures of their safety pin.

Horrible! I rented a trailer over the weekend. I discussed with the manager on duty I had music equipment to haul and needed a closed trailer because it was scheduled to rain. The trailer they rented me had a small hole in the roof and it rained and my $500 bass amp head was directly under the water and is now completely ruined. The owner bob refused to be of any kind of help when I asked for compensation. Because they rented me a faulty piece of equipment, my equipment suffered. I eventually asked for a simple refund of the rental cost and Bob thought that it was a joke. I left with no compensation and no refund. Thanks trailer city! Youve managed to cost me and my band $500 to purchase new equipment and even the extra $66 for the rental of a hole with a trailer around it.

I bought a trailer and ball from them and the ball was not rated high enough to pull the trailer. I didnt notice this until several days later. They refused to exchange the ball for a properly rated one. They wanted me to buy a second ball. Very unprofessional.

What terrible service. I wish there were other trailer rental places in the Katy area. I went to UHaul but unfortunately they were rented out for the trailer I needed. This was my unfortunate choice. The older lady was so rude she thought she was doing me a favor renting a trailer to me. DONT RENT HERE! Look at the reviews nothing positive.

Bought a diamond c dump trailer there after Harvey. Staff was very helpful and informative.

Horrible customer service. We ordered a trailer in September and they told us it would be several weeks before it arrived. (problem 1: no inventory). Six weeks later I called them (even though they were supposed to call us, as wed left the trade in with them). When we were going to finalize the deal and pay for the new trailer, they told us the tags had expired 9 days earlier, and they couldnt do the trade in. Even though they had the trade in for six weeks. And they told us they were doing us a favor selling us the new one. Plus the store is filthy and the salesperson disappeared for 10 minutes on a personal call, leaving us waiting and wondering. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE SMUG INGRATES.

My husband went into the shop only to come into a dispute among the employees. The front desk lady was arguing loudly with another employee IN FRONT of the manager. The manager standing there watching this happen and did nothing to rectify the situation. They wasted his time and gas having to come back to the shop because they didnt fix what they said they would. They had POOR customer service skills all around along with nonchalant attitudes to match. We wont be spending our dollars there any more.Haha BOOOM!!! I guess the jokes on you.

This place is run by an arrogant family who thinks that it’s normal to belittle them as they making a transaction(renting a trailer). Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place. There are so many businesses that actually want to do business. These jerkoffs are not one of them.

Bad service, prefer to lose customers, pay my rental day plus 1 extra day for the simple fact that they do not work on Sunday, and only work on Saturday until 2 pm; what inefficiency, companies of the prestige of Úhaul do not do that, and you can leave the trailer and deliver the keys in your mail; I will not rent more with you.

Worst place ever dropped off my trailer to have some of the wooden floor replaced my boards slip into a groove the guy there clay and the owner bob took it upon his own to weld two beam to screw the boards in never called me to inform me of the extra work never needed it done and when i went to pick my trailer they charged my $175 extra from what agreed on for work i never asked for or approved they told me either pay or dont get your trailer these people are true SCAM ARTISTS dont do business here

I called on Friday at about noon to make sure they had parts and available time to do some repairs and modifications to my trailer. The owner - Inger, tells me Yes, bring it on in. I dropped it off at approximately 2:00pm Friday afternoon. The next day at 11:00am - 5 hours before the work is supposed to be completed, they call to inform me that they dont have the parts and cant finish the work until Monday. Regardless of all other things, for the owner to tell me they can do a job in the time I have available - WHICH WAS A BLATANT LIE, only to then take an oh well, you can go F yourself attitude, is ridiculous. This place obviously doesnt care about honest dealings.

I came in and requested for a car trailer, they gave us one that was not a car trailer. stated that it would work. then I used the trailer to move the car onto it. the ramp broke and then charger me for breaking the trailer that they advised me to use. Buyer and renter beware

Poor customer service. Ive tried for 2 weeks to get a quote from them on 2 trailers, but Bob has never sent me anything. We have talked 3 times and still nothing. I dont understand how you can stay in business when you refuse to respond to RFQs.
