We had a complicated taxes this year. Lisa Sanders did an amazing job. We came from Illinois so she had to file those taxes for us as well. She was very thorough and even had someone else check her work to make sure she did it correctly. I really appreciate everything she did. Will definately be back and highly recommend!

Molen and Associates is absolutely AMAZING! It will only take 1 appointment with them to realize that they are passionate and knowledgeable about what they do. They are always up to date on IRS procedures, Tax Laws, and issues. They know what has to be done and will answer all of your questions without hesitation. We love the fact that they are technologically savvy in their business practice and keep digital records to make the next years appointment run smoothly. I dare say that my husband and I have fun when we go to our appointment because Kevin has a great personality which is reflective of the entire staff. Ive been a client since 2007 and can not give enough praise to these hard working individuals. I will never use the services of Molen & Associates again. This was the first time Ive used them to do my taxes. Why will it be the last? They sent my tax return to an incorrect email address. This was after I caught their mistake and corrected them. What did I get as a result of their incompetence in breaching my familys confidential information? A lame, fake apology. I explained an apology will not provide protection for my family against identity theft. I requested a complete refund of my fees and that Molen & Associates provide identity theft protection for my family for compromising their information. Lesa Skipper, general manager, explained that all she could offer was $170 (half) off of my fees for next years tax preparation fees. I informed her there was no way I would ever use Molen & Associates services ever again. Save money and use turbo tax. I am pretty sure Molen & Associates does.

Great place to get your taxes professionally done. They are very organized, prompt, friendly and you can tell they know what they are doing. If you want to get the most out of your return, especially if you have to itemize or do more than just a simple form this is the place to go.

I just had a colleague ask me about this place and I felt compelled to write a review. My experience was four years ago but these people seem to cater to the industry I work in and this was not the first time I have been asked about them.I had my taxes done by them and not only did they take forever but they made mistakes that I caught! After completing my taxes I was told I would receive an approximate 3K return. A couple days later I was told I had to pay nearly 3K, oops. I was nervous from the get go and now I knew what instinct was trying to tell me.I had my old tax guy straighten out their mess for four hundred and fifty dollars and I ended up breaking about even with the government. I called the owner himself and politely told him they took forever, made mistakes to the tune of a 6K spread, were expensive and I had to pay to get my taxes done right, then politely asked for a refund. It was a firm no and he was condescending like I should have known he would completely fail.

I really appreciated the honesty and effort with which they approached my return. Straight forward and very knowledgeable about the tax codes.

I have been a customer of Molen and Associates since 2003 after being referred by a coworker. Without a doubt, it has been the best advice Ive ever received. After years of doing my own taxes, I realized that what I was doing was incorrect and was missing out on an abundance of deductions. The experience that I had with this company has guaranteed that I will continue to use them for years to come. I refer anyone who asks about taxes to them and will continue to do so. I have noticed some negative reviews and can only say that I have never experienced anything like what has been posted. I can only say that if you did have a bad experience, give them the opportunity to correct it. I do realize that everyones experience will differ to some degree but mine has been nothing but positive.

My wife and I have used Molen Tax for 6 years, Kevin and his staff are always very courteous and professional.I am in law enforcement and my wife is an RN, so we itemize our taxes, we also have rental property which can complicate the tax return. There was one particular year my wife switched between 1099 and W-2, the IRS sent us a statement stating we owed several thousand in unreported income. I immediately contacted Kevin, and he and his staff determined that the IRS had made a mistake. The IRS was adament they were correct. Kevin and his staff defended their prepared return.In the end, the IRS never admitted they made the mistake of counting one of the 1099s twice, but the IRS did send us a letter saying we owed $0.00, which was outstanding!!If you want a tax professional that has many years experience and will deliver a professionally prepared return and will stand behind their prepared return, I highly recommend Molen Tax.

I just moved from out of state and a friend in law enforcement (I am not) recommended Molen and Associates. First I agree with the poster above the price was a la carte and expensive so I expected a lot. Its like riding on Spirit Airlines. If you want us to do this its extra etc. The other thing is from the walk in they are hitting you up to manage all of your money which seemed a higher priority than my taxes to them. I found that odd as I would really have to know you more than five minutes before we went there. I went in and the preparer basically went for an H&R block and punched the numbers into their version of Turbo Tax, maybe it was Turbo Tax for all I know. I left and there were a few things they were going to have Ward look into. I always had to call them and they were slow as molasses and no it was not near the 15th of April. The calls I did get were to let me know about extra fees they were going to have to charge. I got my return and had to pay which I expected. Since it was a new preparer I had my CPA in FL also do my taxes as a backup. I also had to pay her but she beat Molen and Associates by $2800 and was $125 less. She called me on several occasions to clarify items and beat Molen by a week. If you have a straight W-2 and nothing else it would be OK but H&R will do the same service for way less. The cookies were great and the office comfortable. The staff was nice and professional. My current CPA I feel is in my corner constantly engaging the enemy, Molen just prepared a return. I wont be back.
