I really highly recommend Manning Pool Service. I had a very short timeline of needing to renovate my pool and Manning was able to get the job done seamlessly. They were in consistent communication regarding every step of the process and ensured that everything was taken care of in time for our event. The follow up and consistency and their customer service is what makes them stand out! We also did their cleaning services and would recommend that as well. They send a detailed report after each visit and do a great job with the service. Special recognition to the owner himself, Jeff Manning, and Ian who works in the office as well. Jeff was very thorough and consistently checked on the progress of the replaster. We chose the pebble sheen in Aqua Blue and absolutely loved the look. Pictures attached of the beautiful job that Manning did and we are in love with our new pool!

Ive been working with Ian at the office for a few weeks now on a couple different issues Ive been having with my equipment and I must say Im very pleased with the service Ive been getting. Manning Pool Service may cost a little more than your independent pool cleaner but you get something for that little extra. A responsive and professional team. We have been using Manning Pool service since we have moved to the Heights. They have been proactive in suggesting maintenance items that need to be addressed before they become problems as well as just doing a great job keeping our pool clean and the chemicals in balance. Ty has been our cleaner for the last year and hes been dependable and keeps us informed on what hes done each visit via an email.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a workman. Beware of the good reviews that you see here. I do not believe that they are legitimate reviews. There are paid services that post 5 star reviews written by the owner. Manning Pools will promise, take your money and never complete the work. The was very persistent with follow up until he was paid. Then he left the job and promised to return to complete it and never came back. We have tried for two months to get him to finish the job, contacted him many times, he always promises to come but never shows up. Basically he stole our money.Do not make the same mistake that we did.

Kyle shows up every week, and takes care of my pool. I had some concerns after replacing my salt chlorine generator, but he’s has been doing the best job of making sure my generator is clean and is doing the job it’s suppose to.

Even after snowmageddon destroyed our pump, our technician, Ryan K, worked tirelessly to provide great service to our very dirty and unusable pool. I have been incredibly impressed with Manning Pool Services. Alan, my pool tech, has been incredibly. I receive a weekly report on the chemical levels and narrative about any issues. Could not be more impressed.

Two years ago we chose to have our pool resurfaced by Manning Pool Service and we learned some lessons. If you are considering using Manning Pool, read below and see the attached picture.We chose Manning Pool, and Manning Pool chooses a subcontractor to resurface the pool. Manning Pool chose a contractor named Benjamin to complete the job for our home. Fast forward two years and we started noticing two issues with our pool. Streaking and circles (see picture for circles). We had 4 independent plaster installers come out, one recommended by Manning, and they each came to the same conclusion, the streaking is a chemical issue but the circles or Pop-offs are an installation issues. Pop-Offs occur when plaster is not properly installed with the adhesive.Enough time has passed to have come to a resolution. Manning has failed to work with us on an actual conclusion to our situation and shown no interest in taking responsibility for choosing an incompetent contractor. We spent roughly $5,500 for something that shouldve lasted us over a decade to something that lasted 2 years due to poor installation. They offered to redo our pool for full price with 2 months free of maintenance.If you chose to go with Manning Pool Service to resurface your pool, I would be sure to ask what contractor they are choosing and if they offer any sort of warranty in regards to pop-offs or issues due to poor installation.EDIT: Thank you for your response, it has been two weeks and we are still patiently waiting for a phone call to follow up on the actions promised in your response.

I finally have a clean pool! The last company did nothing. Would not add chlorine even though they charged me extra. I had so much algae you couldn’t see the bottom and it was full of frogs. Now you can drink the water.

I engaged with MPS to address warranty work with a UV sanitizer and to replace an LED in the pool. They quickly got a resource out to do the assessment ($85 fee) and then arranged to cover all repairs under warranty. Jose Patino completed the work. I had a follow-up issue and he took the time to reach out to his office to arrange for a return visit. He addressed the issue and took the time to discuss any other questions I had about the pool. I would not hesitate to use them again....especially Jose.

As a pool builder I rely on MPS to take care of my pools and my customers from the moment the pool is filled. Manning starts our pools up, configures our equipment and automation, balances our water to protect the plaster, and maintains the pool for our customers with no worries at all! I would specifically like to mention our MPS startup technician Mario- customers love him and so do we! He has handled every one of our startups with great attention to detail and excellent customer service for as long as he has been in the position- thanks Mario!

They are very expensive, do not stand by their quotes, and make ridiculous excuses for gouging the customer. I have a small (12.5K gallon) salt water pool, and was a Manning customer for about one year. They initially did a great job cleaning our pool, which is why I stayed their customer even though they were more expensive than other local pool companies ($260, or 281.45, incl tax, per month for weekly cleaning). I also liked the email info sheet showing levels of salt, chlorine, etc which was provided after the cleaning. Towards the end of the year their customer service started to slip. We had problems with stains building up, even though they maintained our pool weekly, and were then told it would cost extra to remove the stains. They also did not include checking for phosphates as part of their weekly maintenance, and I was told it would cost extra for that. A few months before my yearly contract was up, I was informed my rate would be going up to $300 per month, or $324.75 incl tax., to begin June 1st, due to increased cost of chemicals. Thats a valid reason to raise rates, but given that I thought they were expensive to begin with, I decided to go with another pool company who was cheaper, $269.72 incl tax. I dont like this other pool company as much. They dont provide an info sheet, Ive had to ask them to add salt etc when needed, and a few other small issues. I asked Manning if I could resume service with them. I would have been willing to pay the $300 per month that I was quoted 2 months ago after comparing them to the new, cheaper but not as good service I was using. Instead of agreeing to the price I had just been quoted by them to start June 1, the sales rep Alan G. insisted on coming out to the pool (that they had serviced for a year up until a few months ago) and checking on it. I told him I was not willing to pay more than the $300 I had just been quoted by Manning a couple of months ago. After making this special trip to see my pool (with which they were well-familiar), I was quoted $328 per month. There were all kinds of lame, childish excuses for why the price went up $28 in two months. Because they told me a price that was too low originally (even though theyd been servicing my pool for a year), its a salt water pool (which they knew), because there were trees in the yard (which they also knew). He even had the nerve to suggest I cut down my trees! lololol I really feel Manning just took this as an opportunity to gouge the customer. I will never use them again. Their weekly service is good, if money is no object and you dont mind paying the highest rate in the area for weekly service and then get nickel-and-dimed on top of that for anything extra like checking the phosphates, or removing stains that never should have built up in the first place. And definitely dont expect any loyalty from them even if you were their customer for a year and you are located just a few blocks away from them. And if you call and get Alan G, be aware he will lie, make excuses, and take every opportunity to gouge you, and not stand by the quote you had received a mere two months prior.
