Great place and greater people. I had my first ever AA meeting here. Im not LGBTQ, but I am an ally. I felt very welcomed. I will continue to attend meetings here when I can.

They let you put your head down & rest in their community room; or just sit and reflect on what you have done, how you would want to handle it, and what you would like to choose to do.., next.Its not my kind of a place to hangout, but it serves many people.

I love it. I can really be myself. Very friendly atmosphere. Being an addict and listening to others sharing their experience strength and hope makes me want to return over and over again.....

Great 12 step meeting place for the LGBTQ community! Everyone there is very friendly and will help you out as much as they can. They also offer a lot of different meeting times so that you have no problems fitting a meeting into your schedule. I will definitely be returning in the future. They also do a lot of fundraising activities that are fun for the whole family like bingo night and different performance nights.

Lambda Center was founded to serve the GLBT community about 30 years ago. Since then the landscape of Montrose and the local community has changed and so has the center. Lambda welcomes all friends and allies of the GLBT community and has many folks who are just that. Meetings start at 630 am and run until 930 at night. All types of recovery here and this place is kept up and run very well. This place is a true blessing and has been a life saver for countless people. Come by and say hello, you are welcome here.

Enjoy the meetings at Lambda. Would give a higher rating, but parking around there is a nightmare.

28 years ago, I was willing to do something about the horrible addiction I found myself in. I had become alcoholic and was using a lot of drugs to medicate my misery. I went to a noon meeting at Lambda and have remained sober ever since. Lambda offers the LGBT community a safe place to heal. It is definitely home to me. If someone is LGBT and finds themselves trapped in an addiction, Lambda is waiting for you with open arms.

This is an excellent place to stay sober, and the people are nice there.

If your drinking or addiction is affecting you or if someone elses is, this family of friends can help. There are many meetings here and the center is open all day. If you think you have a problem, find a meeting and visit. All are welcomed. All meetings are free. There is a coffee and snack bar inside.

However, Sonny (the man that runs the joint) has just the right touch of being welcoming and then telling you to get on with your bad self and get over your bad self at the same time.Come one, come all. They have Ala-non, Adult children of Alcoholics, Two-time winners. Positive sobriety, Crystal Meth Anonymous, New-comer meetings, you name it.Oh, and theres almsot always popcorn!!!
