Nice family-owned business. Al always answer the phone. They sharpen your lawn mower blade in 15 minutes or so. Many customer service agents. Spanish-speaking agents are also ready to help you. Lots of lawn mowers and weed trimmers to buy in store also. Keep up the good work.

Very bad experience. Purchased a part for 70.00 but could get same on line 10.00. When I contacted Als I was told he would not take it back if opened. This was the same day. I informed Al that his counter guy James asked me to open it. He still refused to receive it. I informed Al that I felt this was very shady business ethics and that not only his counter help deceived me but also he as well. I told Al, Thats cool. You have lost a customer for life over $50.00. I urge anyone do not do business with this place. By the way his telephone receptionist (Ezella) had already quoted me$15.00 for part over the phone. Part # 796184 briggs carburetor kit..looking up guys.

Good service, plenty of equipment and parts for all your landscaping tools youll need. They also do repairs on all parts of the tools. They helped me ensure I had the correct air filter for my mower. Their prices are a little high but reasonable for the market and they customer service makes up for it.

This is the best customer service Ive received since being in Texas!!! Including hospitality!!! Tommy was great and addressed all my needs. Very knowledgeable and they have most parts in stock. This should be your small engine shop if in the Houston area.

Stopped by to buy a couple of inner tubes for a ryding mower. As i walked in i said hello. Of the three people behind the counter no one answered. The old battle ax said can i help you? I said yes hello. No greetings again. I guess yall dont greet people. She said i said can i help you. Plain out refused to greet. She said she was not very social. Geat customer service guys. Next time Ill just order through amazon.

There is a mechanic there by the name of Dennis G...best small engine mechanic by far!!! He is the most knowledgeable tech there! The team he works with are THE BEST in Houston! You will have questions, they have the answers. If you dont believe, you must go there for yourself. Best equipment is on their showroom floor.

Best place to go for lawn equipment parts and repair.

Good place to get commercial quality lawn equipment and also to get lawn equipment serviced. I went here on the recommendation of a few people when I needed to get a higher quality mower than what I could get at Home Depot or Lowes. These guys carefully explained the various models to me and after purchase got it filled with oil and gas and tested it out. Also showed me how do to all regular service on it.

Helped me with all the information I ok about to see whats wrong with my mower.

Go see Al Jr. Last night I posted about my bad experience. This morning Als son Al, Jr. called me to apologize and offered to meet me halfway on what was a mutual bad move on both parties. While it doesnt solve my immediate problem I feel much better about dealing with Al and using them again. We all need to ask the right questions on things so we are all clear and on the same page...

Just called and requested Al send me a quote so that I could get a PO approved to purchase. Big Al said it wasnt worth it to send a quote, lol. I paid a $12.00 more at Cy-Fair Lawnmower, but hey, they sent a quote and I got it approved. Thanks for helping me locate a new vendor Al.

This place is useless. I dropped my lawnmower off 6 weeks ago and picked it up today, after calling for the 4th time and finding out they hadnt looked at it yet. I called after 2 weeks and they told me I was next in line. Called again after 4 weeks and was told theyd look at it that day. Now 6 weeks later they still havent even figured out whats wrong with it. So I picked it up and dropped it off at another nearby engine repair shop.If youre looking for someone to work on a small engine, keep looking. If youre looking for somewhere that will take forever and lie to you along the way, Als is the place for you!

I have used them for 20+ years to repair every type of gas yard equipment as well as generators. Have always found the repairs to be excellent and never ever had to bring something back, I always made them turn them on before paying and never had an issue. The only reason for 4 stars is the hassle to get them to answer the their phone.

This place was once a Spring Branch institution, but I will never come here again. Took a buddies chainsaw here, and took my number. After two months, nothing, so I went buy. They said they had not gotten to it yet. Checked back again, nothing. Checked back today, they said the delay was MY fault, because I had not answered their phone message. But when I complained the charges were more than 80 dollars, suddenly they had talked to me. Very dishonest. You have been warned.

This place is worthless. took my mower to them earlier this summer, they said i would be around $60 and take 3 weeks to fix. ended up taking 5 weeks and costing $120. took the mower home and it did not work. took it back...waited another 3 weeks and they never even tried to fix it. take your business somewhere that cares about customers,,,certainly not Als.

I have never used their service dept, however I bought an Echo leaf blower from them about 18 months ago and was pleased with the experience for the most part. Blower has ran very well since.I though the service far exceeded what I would typically get from a Lowes staff member or certainly a Home Crapot staph member. (Yes I spelled that correctly) LoL2/19 UPDATE: My Echo is STILL going strong with zero issues!Sweet!! :-)

Ive gone to them for lawnmower repairs a few times ... never again ...they keep your mower for weeks.... rudest bunch Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with ... walk in the front door or the service area & they look at ya like theyve never seen another human, never speak or ask if they can help ya ... rude, rude, rude ....broke myself of that habit ...

After being referred by a friend, I brought a generator to this business or a free repair estimate on a Saturday. I was told the estimate would be ready by the following Monday. After calling them four times I finally got an estimate the following Friday...for more than the cost of the unit purchased new in the box.The final straw was when I went to pick up the generator the Owner tried to charge me $35 for the estimate.I would never consider using this company again.

Ordered a gasket set for my welder / generator 2.5 weeks ago still has not arrived. called and spoke to ed about, still has not arrive seemed as though he was put off by me calling.

Very bad experience from the first day I gave the part number I needed and they said they did not have it they advised me to buy another similar part that did not work when they made the order for the correct part it took 6 days to arrive they called me by phone and asked the price which was $ 80 when I went to pick it up the person who attended me did not know how to give me the refund or credit me for the remaining $ 30 to which he called the owner and the owner in a very dishonest act told him to simply I would sell it at the same price as the part that was wrong, I clearly heard when the employee told her that how she did to return the $ 30 $ 30 is nothing but it does reflect the owners dishonesty
