The best dollar stores by far. Better than Dollar Tree. The only other store that come close is Daiso. 99 Cent Only stores have more stuff such as produce, bread, milk, eggs and juices. My favorite place to shop because everything is a bargain.

I have been A shopper at Mini various 99 cent store locations for many years. This store never answers their phone. I have been calling since last March several times a week sometimes several times A-day. It is always the same. Either after 5 rings or 21 rings they pick it up and hang up. Not so great customer service if you ask me.

I love the .99¢ store. You can get so many things there, even fresh foods.

Went there today and when I was checking out the cashier Fozia told me I could get $5 off if I downloaded the store app, meanwhile I was doing so, she packed my items in 3 bags and placed the bags in a shopping cart that was behind her and had other items inside. When I finished downloading the app, she did the $5 discount and she didn’t hand the bags to me, she was checking out another customer so I took my bags and left. When I made it home I noticed an item was missing so I went back 6 hours after (when I had time) to ask very respectfully if I had left the item there and she said no (she didn’t even check) instead, she implied that I took the item with me and came back to ask, which was very disrespectful, I paid for it (I have a receipt) and I at least had the right to ask, if I didn’t left it there maybe it went in the following customers bags (which is understandable, we are all humans) but I wouldn’t come back to ask for something I had, so I’ll never go back there. :(

Theyre so short staffed I had to bag my own groceries a second time. Cashier put them in plastic when I asked nicely to put them in the shopping bags that were first item on the conveyor belt. Then while I was finishing up, she starts the next persons order.

Nice place but just discovered today that to use the cart to shop you have to drop 25c before you can use it...😵 Hiring going on too...

It has items from a dollar & up. So many things to create diy projects & decorate on a budget. Weird basket paying thing. 🤔 besides that its cool to me.

This 99 store is not that big aa others Ive seen but has almost everything they sale. As usual not all prices are 99 cents so you can find thing at 1.99 or 2.99 or 3.99 or more but about 90% are 99 cents. As thr others 99s there are always 1 or 2 cashiers and they delay to put another when people make long lines to pay. You can find fruits at good prices, medicines, seasonal stuff etc. Nowadays they are promoting Halloween and have a lot of details to put your house ready for the ocassion. In general worth it to come here for quick shops.

This stores management is awful. He treat the workers as if they are beneath him. He never come when the call and request help. I am going to stop shopping there.

Valentines (seasonal) stuff galore. I went for stainless cat/dog bowls. 99¢, such a deal, not all but most items. Many departments (aisle sections), produce, & refrigerated food.

What makes 99 Cents Only Stores awesome is that they sell a lot of stuff Walmart and similar stores sell for only a dollar. However, the lines at the registers can get rather long and extend out into the aisles sometimes. Secondly, the female security guard is rather unkind when people come into the stores without masks. She will not ask you nicely to put on one, she will just point at you and say Wheres your mask? in a rather snappy tone. Please retrain her, she is not a police officer and cannot be making demands. Tell her she needs to remind people in a kind manner to put their masks on, not snap at people. Ive been to places where Ive seen people go in without their masks and the employees kindly say Do you have a mask? If not, can I provide you one? Not here!

Off brand and name brand items for 99 cents and up. Cant go wrong.

Stopped in looking for a few items. Store appeared to be busy, customers throughout the store, store shelves somewhat unorganized, some items in boxes on the floor, and products out of their places. Im not sure if it was an issue with, shortage of help, or employees not doing their jobs.

I love the cheap prices and store bargains that they always have same products as the big chain stores but half the price if u dont shop there dont be fooled be surprised

Great pleace to get covid. Both employees and customers were walking around with either no mask or their mask covering their chin but not their mouth and nose.

Store is fine, staff are friendly, but watch out for the Security Guard hes a very angry man who follows you around the store and stares you out for no reason. He made me very uncomfortable yesterday from the moment I walked in the place, in a near empty store. Wont be returning until that angry man is gone.

These past few days I felt like I’ve hit the jack pot or won something incredible but actually- because of the incredible deals on their seasonal gardening items. $0.25 on most gardening item..... wow!I live only a few minutes away and it was more convenient to shop at this location. I understand I purchased a cart plus a basket full of 25 cent gardening items but also regular price items. I had a major project, and this couldn’t come at a better time. For the most part, my visit was pleasant. I was treated very kindly by the young black lady, mid- age black lady( always smiling even 10 customers waiting in line) she is awesome!, and the older white gentleman. But the Indian lady I’m assuming was the manager whom was rude the last time I was there along with a younger Indian or Hispanic so called manager “ was not professional.I even offered to put away items that was left by other customers and my items that I decided not to purchase. But the lady, might have been a manager was huffing and puffing the whole time because she had to remove items that was not on sale. Perhaps 5 items out of 50 that I had purchased.I think I will make the drive to any other 99 cent store elsewhere in Houston just to not ever experience bad customer service. But 99 cent has Excellent deals with inexperienced so called managersI

I have shopped at the 99 Cents Stores for over 8 yrs. and look forward weekly to shopping for new items and deals however I have noticed over the years that a lot of the 99 cents food items are priced to $1.99 and higher variations. Also, I have noticed that some store locations have nicer store interiors and food product displays than other stores. Some of the stores restrooms need to be urgently renovated to a modern look and kept publicly sanitized. This 99 cents store franchise is loved by many people.

It was ok. Some of the items seemed overpriced. For instance something that was $4.99 should have been way cheaper due to the quality. It was also really messy in the store.

The Indian ladies that work here need to learn some customer service. They are rude and don’t help!

Great place with everything from soup to nuts. Not everything is. .99 but the things that are more than .99 are well worth it. Produce, deli meats name brands at a fraction of the cost.

Hey! Its a dollar store! Still, they do have a nice variety and I was impressed with many of the items a dollar would buy. Clean produce and food aisle.

If the sign says 99 cents...all should be that.. .I was somewhat disappointed.

Used to really like this place. The store has changed their pricing from what it used to be. I find hardly any deals now. I used to have a very positive review, but now feel I must replace it so as not to misinform people about the current status.

Great deals - youve got to know your prices. Scored some nice 8oz Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard for 99¢ vs. $3.29 retail. Cant get good salad dressing wo good Dijon. Grilled chicken and steaks taste better w it too..

Ms Rebeca will harass you. She calls it “stocking the isle you’re in” and she will encourage her team of employees to harass you too even as my party and I were walking into our car they were still laughing and looking at us. When I came back and confronted her she said she “was doing her job”. 90 % of the items in the store are under one dollar. The store is clean n they have a good price on there produce items.. great bargain on a large selection of items ..great place to shop n pick up small house whole items..

This store has a good selection of most items for .99.999 cents which rounds up to $1.00. There are items over up to $2.99. That Ive seen. Great store, could use floor maintenance more often.

This is my in between grocery visits store. They dont always have the best products of course, but I like that I can buy more from here than other dollar stores. (I.E. certain produce). This location isnt the best but its close, so I come here.

I went there last year & they have great Christmas presents for kids, Ill actually be buying again this weekend. I spent about 27$ to be exact & I got a lot of nice things for my kids. This is every year.

Not too many people there when I shopped

I got all the birthday party items we needed for my sons and my nieces party this summer from there for cheap. Everything except the cake. The lines can be long some times.

Do not work here the management is very bad. Rebecca is very inconsiderate coming to her employees when it comes to their health. She has her employees working with a drunk employee. She had other employees out of work for a whole week because of the issue with the drunk worker losing the keys to the store and coming a whole hour late to her shift. She was suppose to find a new shift leader thinking that she would be fired she brought all of us back to work with the same worker. Other employees lost a whole week worth of work for nothing. Rebecca told me some very ridiculous things. She even told she cut my hours cause I didn’t look happy at work. I got another job at target and I couldn’t be happier they love me and everyone there is awesome. But for future reference to anyone do not work here you would be better off working at the jack in the box by there instead.

Terrible customer service at the check out! Not only did she try to rush me through she tossed my reading glasses at me and they ended up falling on the floor. When I looked back to address it with her I saw 4 on my items that she didnt even bother to bag. If I hadnt noticed them they would have been left behind. Now I have shopped here many times and always had a good experience, but not today! The tall thin black woman you have running your cash register today, is the perfect example of who you shouldnt hire.

Its a great store and the cashier Chelsie is so patient and polite.

Terrible attitudes at the registers. Long wait when theres a crowd because they only have a max of two registers open at a time.Management has no customer service skills nor knowledge of how their registers work. I dont know who hires this personnel but they need to work on customer service training and setting standards before assigning management positions.Store is badly kept. Bathrooms are filthy and falling apart. Rotten produce is always left for days on the bins. Heads up: not everything is a dollar. Sometimes youll find items that are higher priced but you wont notice til you get to the register unless theres a sign specifying that its not 99¢ so keep a lookout.I had been coming to this store for years. I stopped going because its gotten worse over time. Its not as nice as it used to be. Thats so disappointing.

The price of some of the products are as indicated in the name. But not all the products are 99 cents. However it is a nice experience to visit the store.

The store is usually well stocked and clean. The workers are nice. The manager is a devil! I saw her berate and scream at a homeless man so bad.... I began to cry and had to leave along w a few others. Who does this woman think she is?!

Older store, needs a lot of maintenance, but overall great selection compared to other 99cents only stores. (definitely more then regular dollar stores).

Oh my days... I have always enjoyed shopping from other 99cents store but this particular location is filled with rude personnel!! The manager at this store is just mean and needs some human behavioural training! Apart from not being aware of what they have in stock to misleading you to the wrong aisle and not apologising after you tell them!!!, be prepared to face 4 different cashiers who keep pushing you to one another...ahahahaha!

Ive been there multiple times and each time I get the same rude cashier. She doesnt greet me and during the entire transaction her back is towards me while she chats with her coworker. It was so bad once my boyfriend ended up having to complete his own transaction. Yes, he reached to behind the screen completed transaction, bagged our things, grabbed our receipt and she never once turned around. Smh

Everyone here is really nice and if you cant find something theyre pretty knowledgeable about what their stock is.

Store is organized and easy to find what you need. Shop at this 2-3 times a week, great finds, prices and freshness on fruit & vegetables.

They literally know me here lol Im a frequent.Friendly staff that are willing to help if you need something. They have great great items here for every holiday or any occasion for planning parties to cute gifts and party favors. They have upgraded tremendously with name brand products with a wide spectrum of variety from Maybelline lip balms to Jello yogurt packs with steal deals. . I buy medicine here all the time works great. Im so grateful for this store. The dollar stores have really upgraded since I was younger! Lol. There is always a LONG WAIT in line to check out, but with these deals whats the rush? Its Worth the wait.

The managers at this store are very un professional and have no management skills!!! My son worked at this location and was be littled and humiliated by Nigerian so called manager all because there systems were down and they are short staffed!!!! A grown ass man yelling at him telling him he was going to Beat him up to go outside!! It is not even worth dealing with this abuse for the cheap ass money they pay!! Im taking this to my lawyers and the workforce commision!! This is why no one will last working at this location!!

Not bad, parking lot is a little small and cramped. Store is relatively clean and staff is friendly.

What is WRONG with this places AC? Its in the mid-80s (°F) in May, and this place has one door open and no air conditioning! Then the produce is molded and hardly edible unless you enjoy insects; also, they severely understaff (as in, only one cashier at any time) checkout. Lines are always at least a 30 minute wait time.

I purchased lots of products and while I was getting the receipt, I realized that I dont need one of the item that was around $10. But the manager refused to return because it was paid already. She told me that once you paid for a product its yours.
