Awesome customer service, Courtney responds quickly for any proposal inquiries and the field crew is the same every year so they know exactly what to do at setup! The rental equipment is clean and professional, very happy we found them because it makes my party planning smooth!! Definitely recommend for small or large events. I just rented 8 chairs from this company over the weekend for a birthday party. I was really happy with the service I received. I needed them very last minute and it was super bowl weekend and they were more than happy to help me out. It was only 10 bucks and the chairs were in great condition. It was very a very simple and quick transaction. I picked up the chairs Friday and was able to return them Monday which was great. The only issue I had was finding the place. The sign was small and not easy to find. If I ever need to rent something I definitely will use them again.

Richards service and crew was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure the tent was exactly as we wanted it to be. As a first time large tent renter, they exercised patience with my hundreds of phone calls and emails. Their crew setting up and taking down were top notch!

Great customer Service from start to finish. Use them to rent chairs for an event that I had from my office. They delivered them in a timely manner and help me pick them up. Couldn’t of asked for better service.

My son and his NEW wife had their wedding at my house. I called Richards Tent & Party Rentals a week before the ceremony to order the necessary tables and chairs. Absolutely no problems and or issues. I stopped by on a Saturday and brought them back on Monday. The warehouse crew was more than helpful even making sure the load was tied down adequately.When I need party rental supplies I will look no further than Richards Tent & Party Rentals. I will also tell my neighbors, friends and family to do so as well.

Very poor experience with this company. We were given a quote to purchase 2 tents, which we purchased and they were delivered in a timely manner. Poles were old and rusted. I called and asked for new poles and was told it would be a couple of weeks. A month later, I never heard back and my calls were rejected/ignored. Finally, 3 months later I went into their office and spoke to them about the situation. I was told that I was originally given a quote for used sets. Nowhere in the quote did it state used or new. That was obviously just an excuse to get me to leave. We have had old rusted pieces displayed outside of our business for months now. After visiting them, its apparent that they have no plans to fix the situation. My main point of contact was the owner himself, Richard. Im appalled at the way he treated me at his office after rejecting my calls for months and as a business owner myself, I would never conduct business in that manner. He told me he wont do anything about the situation and basically told me to leave. I said thank you for your business and walked out. It seems like they only care for large orders. Look elsewhere for your party rental needs.

I have rented from Richards once before and I am planning on doing so again because the pricing is affordable and they are very helpful and quick in the quoting process etc. I have rented tables, chairs and a fan and I am well pleased.

VERY Disappointing results since the operator did not follow agreed plan for laying out tent structure in my backyard. My plan for a surprise party for my wife was somewhat ruined when the tents and AC units were placed in the wrong area of my backyard. After bringing my wife home for the surprise and finding this problem it was too late to change. Owner says it was my fault since I was not home. But I had specifically met with company representatives twice (even at my house) and laid out the design map with pictures. NO apologies or refunds were offered.

On behalf of BioHouston, we used Richards Party Rentals for our 14th Annual Chili Cook Off and it went splendid! The equipment was delivered on time, without hassle, and with no problems! We will be glad to do business with them again in the future.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. I reserved 30 white chairs and two 8 foot tables in advance. The day before picking them up Im called and told that they no longer had my 8 foot tables since they were used, but that they had the 6 foot tables. So I accepted those without complaining. NOW TODAY, I go to pick up my items for my daughter party and Im told sorry we dont have any chairs for you they went out with the 1200 chair order for this other company. WHAT ?!?!When I placed my order I asked if I needed to pay over the phone to reserve them, I was told no, just come pay it when you pick it up. So when this happened...Im told well my order wasnt reserved with a credit card. I was told I had a choice of some ugly white or black square looking chair that cost twice as much. The owner was in no way accommodating in reducing the price since it was their mistake He literally told the assistant that my order was not big enough to worry about. What great customer service. So now I have to call around and hope that someone has chairs for the event tomorrow night. You know, they could have told me they basically were cancelling my order when they called to tell me they were changing my tables! Again WOW is all I can say with additional choice words. So you customers with SMALL ORDERS, I suggest you go elsewhere to rent. Very Angry and disappointed.....

The worst experience ever. We had a party starting at 7 for my daughters 21st birthday and per my contract they were suppose to arrive up by 4. They showed up at 6:30 p.m. after numerous phone calls to them. Never did they try to reach out to me. They arrived with dirty chairs and later we found out the Margarita machine didnt even work. Never froze the mix. We tried to get a refund but the owner wont even speak to us to make things right. I was told he had a list of customers waiting to hear from him. Do not rent anything from this place, I will never use them again.

Great experience with using richards party rentals. The girls in the office were super awesome! Courtney was great! Would defintely refer to other friends in the future!!

Courtney is very pleasant to deal with, and I received a delivery just 3 hours of placing the order.

Margarita machine leaked into a cracked basin, which had leaked out all over the countertops where it was being served. The bar tables were wobbly and the chrome barstools had legs that were missing screws and poorly welded. Rusted and just looked like something left outside for months and brought in for you to use at a banquet event. We had to return 4 stools that we could not even sit on without falling over. They went through over 20 stools just to try and find 4 replacements. BTW DO NOT rent the cheese dispenser. TOTAL Waste of money. Took 20 pumps to get 3 tablespoons worth of cheese sauce out of it. Better off using a crockpot with a spoon. I of course wanted it to look nice, but it was embarrassing to say the least. They should use the rental money to fix, maintain, and replace old worn out equipment instead of trying to continue to dupe people out of their money. I do not recommend this company.

Your credit card information is not safe with this business. Someone used my card and all of my information as provided to this business and used it fraudulently. When confronted, they denied it, of course. Stay away!

The loaded my car with filthy chairs. They are unprofessional. The man acted as if I was suppose to load my own car. I will never rent here again. Just because prices are low doesnt mean customer service should be.
