DJU is awesome! After getting engaged in December 2020, we quickly began looking for music for our May 21 wedding. One of our dear friends highly recommended their close friend, Philip, the owner of DJU. After talking with him, were excited to book with DJU. Well, as it turns out, the wedding venue and package we selected (Magnolia Bells), included DJU as their in-house DJ. BOOM! It was meant to be! Before we even finished paying our second wedding payment, we received an email from Darrell 3 months out informing us hell be our personal DJ for our BIG day. He also attached 2 song documents to fill out (one for ceremony, one for reception), including song requests for every little detail you could imagine. 2 months out from our wedding, we reviewed the documents and covered each detail for our wedding day. Fast forward to 5.21.21, we couldnt have asked for a better DJ. Darrell was perfect for our job! Not only did he have great energy and was professional, all our guests had a blast tearing up the dance floor! Wed highly recommend DJU!

DJ Darrell Ripley was fantastic! He was able to get in all the songs we wanted and he read the dance floor well. All music was just perfect, from the background music during dinner to the songs to get everyone on the dance floor. He was extremely responsive to all questions and made sure we felt confident about how everything worked. Definitely top quality DJ.

Darrell at DJU Entertainment was amazing! This company was included in our package at Magnolia Bells, and I can see why he is one of their preferred vendors and works with them so often! He has such a positive energy and got everyone out on the dance floor. One of my biggest fears as a bride was having an empty dance floor. Thanks to Darrell, that was definitely not the case! We had a BLAST, and so did our guests! We got to meet him via Zoom during the wedding planning process, so we could discuss what we wanted. I had some pretty specific requests for music, and he met them all! He also added a lot of his own creative expertise. We had the best time at our wedding. Thank you DJU Entertainment and Darrell for helping us create the best memories :)

We were told that DJU was the best by our venue, Briscoe Manor, and they were right! Everyone had such a great time at the wedding thanks to Kyle! He kept people on the dance floor and could have kept them going all night! Kyle got there early to set up and made sure that everything was just right for the reception. He did a great job of announcing and keeping everything on track with the timeline. Dealing with the company was a pleasure from the beginning. They always responded to our emails promptly and kept us informed. Everyone was so professional throughout the whole process. They were so thorough and dedicated to getting things just right for the wedding day including providing the ability to pick songs for each step of the reception beforehand.We were one of the couples who were impacted by COVID-19. We had to reschedule on a short notice and DJU helped by making the process so much less stressful than it could have been. The wedding would not have been the same without DJU and we are so grateful to Kyle and the rest of the staff for making this such a wonderful memory for us and all our guests! You exceeded our expectations and we will recommend you to anyone who is in need of a great DJ!

DJ Charlie (Carlos) was last-minute assigned to DJ our wedding (after our previous DJ through DJU could not)& let me tell you- HE DID AMAZING. He asked all the important, specific questions leading up to the big day & then on the day of the wedding, he was able to set the perfect tones for the night. My husband & I are both big dancers & all of our guests getting out on the dance floor with us was an upmost priority- Carlos made this happen! It was a great night thanks to a GREAT DJ.

If I could, I would give them 0 stars. Our company Christmas Party in December was cancelled due to Covid. We asked Phil for a refund and he kept putting it off. He owes us $950. He said a check would be sent out, never happened. The he said he would refund our card, never happened. We have sent multiple emails and even went by their office and it was closed. Do not use these people for your event. Its a scam.

We booked DJU through our venue and the service we received nearly ruined our reception. As requested, prior to the event, we provided a “must have” playlist for the DJ. Yet, Brian did not consistently play our songs. When coordinators, friends, family communicated with the DJ on my behalf (upset and frustrated bride), he was not responsive to feedback or instruction. Furthermore, when my father approached the dance floor to welcome our guests the DJ announced the father daughter dance... a true series of unfortunate events.An upsetting and extremely disappointing experience.

DJU completely exceeded our expectations. We had our initial meeting with Guy and he ended up being the DJ. We had a mix of Indian and Western music so I didn’t know how well it would go. Guy handled everything like a champ. From announcements to the order of songs were perfect. He had people dancing from the moment the dance floor opened to the last song.Furthermore, he was instrumental in setting up all of the equipment for the ceremony. We had no glitches and everything went smoothly. Their attention to detail and expertise have no competition. We highly recommend DJU and Guy!

Rickie at DJU was the MC for my wedding. I was very specific on songs to be played during dinner / party dance time and Rickie played it all! I had a few last-minute changes and Rickie made them happen. I was also very specific on lighting and Rickie came through! The party lights for the dance floor were awesome. The Photo Booth was amazing as well and so fun! I can’t wait to see all of the photo booth photos via digital copy. Thank you Rickie and DJU foryour excellent services.

We booked DJU through our wedding venue, and we couldnt have been happier! Kyle worked with us through the entire process of getting our songs picked out, determined our style, and nailed it on the big day. Did a fantastic job coordinating with our venue staff and vendors to help run a smooth reception.We also did a photobooth through DJU, could not get enough compliments over the quality of the prints, and had brought a vast selection of props to the party. I cannot recommend DJU enough. Thanks yall!

We used DJU through our wedding venue at Madera. Our reception was quite unique in that it didnt follow a classic format since it was multi-cultural wedding. We had two (2) first dances - a Laotian and an American dance. We also had families from Laos and Romania. Our DJ, Steven, rehearsed our script and pronunciation to the tee! He was PERFECT! Even my dad was amazed that he pronounced the names and words correctly - it was definitely a treat and sight to see! We had the option of having a family member emcee in between but Steven nailed it! He is extremely accommodating, flexible, and a complete professional. Recommendation is to pin down your actual DJ for the event to get a feel for personalities - just like all vendors. Thank you for making our day amazing, Steven!! You are so awesome!!

We LOVED having Darrell from DJU Entertainment lead the party for our reception! He was great to communicate with the entire time from finalizing our contract to the actual wedding day. He was FABULOUS to work with! Darrell made our wedding day so fun for everyone; my favorite part was inviting all our guests to the dance floor for the last song of the night - its a moment of our special day that we will never forget. I cant say enough amazing things about DJU Entertainment...theyre fantastic!

Recently married at Madera Estates. Madera helped us select DJU for our entertainment. Darrell helped coordinate the event and Ricky White was the on-site DJ. Both were very professional and courteous. Ricky played the type of music we and the guest really enjoyed. During the wedding we had a snare drum accompaniment on one song and another song sung live. DJU set up the necessary equipment, downloaded the back up music we needed and everything ran smoothly. Definitely check to see if DJ Ricky is available for your event. He’s a skilled facilitator without be overbearing.

We absolutely loved these guys. This was in my top 3 favorite things about my wedding and the planning process. Jeremy and Mike made the planning easy, answered every single email and every single question. It was clear that their ultimate goal was making our event exactly what we wanted it to be. I was able to send in a swatch of ribbon for them to match the uplighting to (rather than having to drive). They were all about convenience for us and whatever worked best for US. When it came to the music selection, our song was a version that has only been performed live, so Jeremy took the time to find the one with the least crowd noise possible and we couldnt have been happier. When it came to the big day, Jason did such an incredible job. He took care of all of our specific requests (must play list, play if possible list, a particular order of songs). He even got out on the dance floor to get the crowd going, too. We couldnt have asked for a better team. These guys really have it down to a science and yet make your event feel like its completely custom and one of a kind. I would recommend these guys for any event needs.

I highly recommend DJU Productions to anyone in need of a professional and organized DJ; especially DJ Joe Fig. I was extremely please with this company as well as our DJ. Initially everything was so organized by prepared forms with events that are typically standard take place at weddings, which I may have forgotten if it weren’t for them. When I spoke with our DJ, Joe Fig for the first time I knew he would be perfect; he not only was professional but had a sense of humor as well, which always helps take the load off of a stressed bride.Just days before the wedding I had to start planning for “plan b” as rain was planning to grace us at our outside wedding that day. I contacted DJ Joe Fig to see if he’d be able to coordinate the ceremony music in the reception hall for us; he graciously agreed to and sent me a ceremony form to fill in my chosen music. Everything ran so smoothly and perfect; he knew how to get the guest up and dancing at the reception that’s for sure. I owe a successful evening to him and will forever be grateful. I cannot express our gratitude towards this company and their ability to hire only the BEST DJs. We had so many compliments from so many guests on our “awesome DJ”. If you are in need of a professional, organized, and fun DJ, DJU Productions and DJ Joe Fig is more than capable of being all that and more.

WOW! I am so impressed every single time I use DJU Productions. We consistently use their company for events and I use them personally as well. They just did our daughters 13th birthday and it was over the top. When I walked in, happy tears started rolling. They did pattern lighting, graffiti photo booth, DJ, dancers, lighted columns, dance floor. It was AMAZING! A fantastic time was had by all! Thank you Jason, Stan and the entire DJU Crew!

Everything went well until the event. Very poor quality DJ. Not happy with the service at all. Several power surges caused the music to drop out. The personality of the DJ was that of a wet sock. They did not play music from our list but rather kept to a weird mix of early 2000s dance rap. It was awful. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I used Dj Darrell Ripley, and I was in communication with him for two months every other week leading up to the wedding day. Its common for most vendors to become frustrated with a bride who wants everything to be perfect, however he was patient with me the entire time and extended himself to the greatest lengths to ensure my happiness. That tells me that DJU went out of their way to make my wedding truly amazing.ALL of they guys bring something great to the business and thats what makes DJU so successful!

We had a wonderful time and the night flowed as planned. The music was perfect considering we had the DJ playing music form the 50s thru the 2000s and from Country to Pop. Being couple with children in college our eclectic music picks were loved by all. Thank you again for providing us with a worry free and fabulous time.

Kyle was awesome as our DJ and the whole DJU team was great to work with throughout the entire experience from planning, options available, payments everything was easy and it turned out great for our Daughters wedding. Thank you Phillip and your whole team!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Djs Unlimited. They provided everything we asked for and more. They were very friendly and professional and helped make our wedding very special. We would certainly use them again

We hired DJU based on our planners recommendation for our wedding and were disappointed with our decision. There wasnt a lot of communication to begin with and 3-weeks prior to our wedding, we still had not heard from them to discuss the wedding and our requests. Since their schedule was full at this point, a phone call was all we could do to discuss the details. I wasnt feeling confident with our decision, but at 3-weeks out, it is what it is. The photo booth and lighting package was good, although I was told we would receive an email with a link to the photo booth pictures, but never received the email or link. My biggest complaint was with the actual DJ. He wasnt the nicest person and was rude to my mom when she asked about turning down the music since the speaker was placed right behind my in-laws table and was way too loud to be right behind a table. Several of the songs we requested to be played at various points of the night were not played - cake cutting, last song, etc. There were songs/genres of music played that I asked not to be played, and I was told by several guests that he was taking tips to play songs, which I personally think is tacky. I dont doubt they are a good company, but make sure EVERYONE is on the same page, you have an in-person meeting, and the communication line is working. At the end of the day, we are married, which is what counts, but I wish this portion of an already stressful and chaotic day would have been a lot smoother.

DJU WAS AWESOME!! I booked DJU before I had my venue, dress, flowers - everything! All of my friends have used DJU and their weddings were so much fun, but they were able to make mine really great by adding the photobooth, monogram on our cake wall, pinspots for the cake, uplighting, and a lighted DJU booth into our DJ package for AN AMAZING PRICE!! We are so happy with DJU, we hear that once the doors opened to the ballroom everyone said WOW and I know the lighting effects DJU added were a big part of the WOW FACTOR at our wedding!!

Absolutely horrible experience . Dj was late to setup late to get going didn’t play any of our requested songs. Not sure what he thought he was doing. Do not use ever!!!

DJU and specifically Jason, Darrell, and Doug literally made my wedding dreams come true.-Okay, so let me preface this with saying that I am the bride who has planned and thought and dreamed of her wedding day since the age of 3 so I went in with extremely high expectations. I was meticulous to every last detail and had a vision in my head of exactly what I wanted. Let me just say that DJU not only met but completely blew my expectations out of the water.-I hired DJU for a bundle of services (DJ, lighting and draping, photobooth) so a few high points:DJ: OUTSTANDING!!! Darrell was SUPERB. They are wonderfully seasoned emcees and did a fabulous job of moving things along. I went so far as to hand pick every song i wanted played the entire night as well as the flow of events and they followed it to a tee. Couldnt have been happier with the professionalism, getting EVERYONE out on the dancefloor, transitions, just perfection. They constantly communicated with us through the night to make sure things were okay and if anything was not to our liking, it was fixed immediately.-Jason helped coordinate things with me from day one and was with me until the very end of the day. HES AMAZING! The entire team is SO patient, responsive, attentive, and professional. Whenever I had a question or emailed, Jason and the team could always be reached promptly.-The decor of the room was PERFECTION.-My husband and Jason (DJU) even managed to surprise me with my favorite singer and they set up everything flawlessly and I never knew until the moment of. It was priceless.I cant thank Jason, Darrell, and Doug enough. Words cant express how grateful I am.
