Nightmare from start to finish. Seeing all of the other reviews made me wonder if this was actually the same Chevrolet I went to (It was). Check engine light came on and was able to get an appointment in for 4PM the same day which was great, however once I got there, Im told my technician has been out with covid for a month and I cannot be seen until the next day, keeping in mind my car was hardly drivable. I told them I had an appointment and I cannot drive the car back and forth again, to which they were able to squeeze me in within 5 minutes. I provided them with my 3rd party warranty details to which they seemed to have happily entered into their system and I would not have to pay out of pocket and they would contact the warranty service themselves for payment. It took them 3 days to read the check engine code, to which they said my warranty DID NOT cover the repairs. I called my warranty services myself, who assured me the repairs were covered, and lone star chevy had made 0 inquiries into my warranty with them. I did not care about paying out of pocket to then be reimbursed, but I did care that the tech had lied to me that it was not covered. The issue was a faulty knock sensor, and I was not updated a single time about how the repairs were going or if they were even done, the only message I ever got from them without me having to call up was the costs of the repair, seemingly the only important part to them. Today I picked the car up, 8 days after taking it in. Only reason I didnt put 1 star is because they were actually able to fix the car.
The Lone Star Chevrolet Service Department is a great place to service your car or truck! The employees are nice and friendly! I have brought my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado in for service a few times and they have done an excellent job to service my truck! The wait time varies, but they are pretty quick to service your vehicle! While u wait they offer delicious donuts and coffee and they have a vending machine for u to buy other snacks! The general manager is very professional and friendly and he walks around greeting and talking to the guests!
Well i gave a 2 star because of the large increase in price for oil change . I feel I should have been notified of the price increase, but it looks like I will have to find someone else to change my oil next time.
Excellent as usual. Great Service Dept! Ask for Derrick.
Took care of my daughter had some issues with her car that was under warranty they provided excellent service excellent prices and took good care of a young lady who is in the US military
So far so good .. was first in line and they have a rental just in case I need it.
I called around many dealerships and the service advisor, Jose, at Lone Star was the greatest help Ive received. He was willing to listen and did his best to give me a great value on the work I wanted done. Above and beyond! I would choose this service department over any in Houston.
Horrible Service Department, they said is fixed and when you check at home None!.Go back to them for the same thing. Service Advisor unhappiness and faces like they dont feel connected with you. Nothing organized there, they are happy 😊 faces when you are in to buy after that you will see the real truth 😉. Dont left you car there technically the take it home and accelerate your truck without care, and they not even letting you know. CHECK THE CHEVY APP AND PAY FOR THE WIFI YOU WILL SEE HOW THE USE YOUR CAR WHEN IS AT SERVICE
They are nice, precise and quick about seeing you. The facility is always clean. Plus the prices are affordable
Friendly staff and the work they do is very good but the majority of the times it has been a hassle either dropping or picking up the vehicle. I Have taken my vehicles there for service 4 times in just over a years time, and three of the times it became an hours process to either drop off or pick up or both. I called today to get pricing on new tires for my truck. The first time I called I was told they were too busy to help me right now and someone would call me back. I waited an hour while I called around to other tire dealers to get prices but did not want to rule them out. I called back got transferred 3 times then when they wanted to transfer me a 4th time I finally hung up. We won’t be going back. My wife’s Chevy lease is up in a few months and we will find a dealer with a better service department.
Purchased new SUV from dealer. New car sales experience was great. Service experience has been below sub par. Difficult to reach service dept personnel via phone. Taken vehicle in three times for service (engine oil low, twice oil chg & tires rotated). Only dealer service Ive experienced where advisors do not greet you. Pull up, sit in your vehicle, and wait......get out of your vehicle go inside booth and wait..... no greeting, no friendliness, and no communication. Hmmm, I was tempted to say on all three occasions if youve unhappy with your career choice maybe you should consider making a change. Different service advisors same demeanor. 😐As a 15+yr. luxury car owner excellent customer service (sales, service, etc.) is the standard. Therefore, Ive inquired with several colleagues, friends, etc. who own non luxury about their dealer service experience. As a person who weighs all aspects of an issue I wanted to assure my expectations (dealer service dept.) were realistic.Well, Ive stated my thoughts and I will NOT use Lone Star Chevrolet for future vehicle service needs.
Its always a pleasure to service my car here, the diesel department staff is Great and helpful!!.
Excellent job. Faaasst
These were the greatest people I have ever worked with on closing on a vehicle ever, im almost 75 and no one other than the old marshal Chevrolet came that close, great job gang, I would never buy any place other than lone star chev.
Brought a truck to be checked because I was having trouble with the a/c and the radio, the service advisor is Jose Damian who was very professional, he answered all my doubts and explained what they was gonna do to fix it, I’m very pleased with his service.
My experience started really bad but ended in a good note. First, I got sold a truck that was not working properly and it took 3 weeks for them to tell me what was wrong with it after being persistent almost everyday. However, Al Maayah, the Sales Manager at preowned, saved the day and my wife and I ended buying another truck. Al was very professional and courteous, gave us options to resolve the issue and follow up with everything that he said. If you ever purchase a car from Lonestar, ask to deal with Al!
Took care of me on my warranty work. Derek is a great service writer.
Great service dept
Called and left a message, they returned my call the next day and they told me to come on it right then. Reprogrammed my TCM in like 10 mins and sent me on my way. They have a life long customer just on that premise. 5 stars!!!
UPDATED 12/09/2019 VISIT-Customer Service for HD Truck customers is not considered at all at this location. The customer is required to go walk outside in the elements all the way to the front of the dealership and stay in the main lobby away from the ability to have contact with the service advisor to receive or ask questions on updates of the vehicle. Then if you want an update you have to walk back outside to the very back in the elements again! Thank the lord it was nice outside! How about build a waiting area with the same amenities over there as well and mean while offer a shuttle service back and forth and someway of direct communication with the advisor? You also are losing service to your competitors on tire service. I can’t justify buying tires from you just because you will price match, when your competitors are offering lifetime rotation and balance, where is the competitive edge and incentive to keep coming back to the dealer for the complete package? I would think the dealership would want the customers complete business to ensure reoccurring business and future purchases, I’m certain GM does! Dealership has some improvements to do
GREAT SERVICE DEPARTMENT GREAT DEALERSHIP!!!!!😁
Clean and professional. They checked everything from A to Z, i was a walk in customer and i got my oil service and tire rotation, water lever, washer tank, tire toreq measure, all that was about 1 hour 30 min, i personally feel comfortable with that. Thanks lone star Chevrolet.
Good service!
Andy and John took care of me. After being extremely let down by the new sterling McCall in Spring (go read my review) I came to Lonestar. Lonestar beat the pants off Sterling and didn’t have any hidden fees or gimmick “pro package” add-ons that drive up the walk out price. Love our 2019 Tahoe. Thanks Andy!
Best place
They need to take less time for oil changes
Always great!
Good &friendly service
My truck sat in their service dept for 2 months, they parked it on the curb, GORDON (the service advisor) charged me $4400 and my truck is still not drivable.
Great
