I’ve been here twice now to service my car. Every time excellent service, great customer service and do a great job communicating everything to the customer. Really happy with the services I received here and would recommend anybody.I have had an oil change, brake pads checked and changed, and windshield wipers replaced. Their prices always seem fair and the team is always transparent and trustworthy. ✅

I went in to Midas on Westheimer Road the other day for new brakes on my car. The service was outstanding I could not believe how quickly they were able to replace the brakes and rotors. I also ended up getting some routine maintenance done the employees were very thorough. I was very impressed with the service here and I will most definitely be back with any other automotive needs I may have.

This place is a rip off. Took my car in to have the exhaust inspected. After inspecting the car and finding nothing wrong with the exhaust. They wanted to replace the idler pulley and charged me almost $300 if I agreed.The technician drove the car off the ramp too fast tore my undercarriage shield. I was thinking outside on the passenger side watching the shield get torn. I had them to put the car back on the ramp to look at the undercarriage shield. The shield was torn. The manager Joshua promised to replace the shield and that he had to order it. Got a phone call from him a few days later stating that the shield was in bring the car in to have it replaced. I take my car in they dont have a shield they put glue on the old shield and told me it was replaced. It was raining while I was at Midas so I didnt look under the car. When I got home put the car in the garage I looked under the car saw that they had put glue on my car I was outraged. I called them back and confronted them about putting glue on the car. They said there was nothing they could do about it the shield was hanging down when the car was brought in. The shield was I not hanging down never had a problem with the shield. Also I stood outside and watched them put the car on the ramp and take it off. Lets say hypothetically that it was hanging down why would you leave me a voicemail (which I have saved) to bring legal actions against them if need be stating they have the new shield bring the car in so they can replace it. They were trying to overcharge me to put an idler pulley on my car for almost $300. After I decline not to do the idler pulley they didnt want to replace the shield. Do not take your car there these guys are scavengers. Im an internet marketer these guys will be exposed both with photos and the audio file of the voicemail that they left me promising to replace the shield. No one deserves to be treated like this. I took my 2016 Corolla here for a brake service. The manager explained what was wrong with the vehicle and took me into the garage so I could physically see what the issue was. He answered all my questions even though they were busy. They test drove my vehicle once they performed the service to ensure safety. Great customer service and value!

Called an asked could I get an alignment for truck. Its a dually so not all shops have a lift big enough which is why I called. The gentleman informed me that they could. Drive all the way to this location 30min. And guess what oh sorry your truck wont fit.

This place has a selective parking space. Theres garages to the right. Just dont park in front of them and therell be space to maneuver.

Took my truck to this location on 9/4/19 for oil change and tire rotation. Service was fine. Annoyed they said they would call when it was ready, but I had to call and check. Typical for any place though. However, I’m really bothered at the fact they did a poor job at putting the rim caps back on. One is missing a screw and barely hanging on. Will not be back.

So after dealing with Jason Im definitely impressed with this location.. he managed to balance my tires out to 0.. mind you these were new tires installed by a local tire shop who didnt even have my balance close.. One of the rears was off 40z.. the fronts were 1.75 to 2.25oz.. he also found a bend on the inside lip of one of the rear wheels that the other shop didnt catch and was able to point me in the direction of a place who could fix the bend for me.. would definitely recommend anyone whos looking for a straight forward shop to give this one a chance.

If I truly give zero stars I would have.Went in for the deal they were promoting. $17.95 oil change. Well my closest Midas from my house was this location. (30 miles) Drove 30 miles into town. Just to have some guy tell me that he can only use synthetic on my oil change which of course is $50! I drove that far cause I am right on money. The guy refused to give me a regular oil change. He said that their system says that a base model 2007 Ford focus sedan with a 2.0 requires synthetic oil. When I said no thanks I just wan the regular, he said he wont do it for me. I also mentioned how far I had to drive and that the oil that is in it currently isnt synthetic. I looked up my car... It takes regular oil. So thanks to the crooks at Midas that only care about how much money they can get from you. Definitely dont care about their customers. Thanks for the 60 mile round trip for nothing. Never giving business to them again.

Expensive brake job paid 130 for labor, when they spent most of the time sitting and texting rather then working, but customers required to wear masks, just not the employees that go in an out of your vehicle. 1 employee has a mask the rest dont.

Not super happy here. Got an oil change and it went great and whatever, like any oil change has gone for me. I just walked in and asked if I could get one right now. He said yes. Put me in the system and I handed over the keys.I then realized that even though I’m the only one in the waiting area, they seemed to be working on cars in each of the bays. So I ask how long it will take. “45 minutes to an hour”, he replies. Well I was able to get back in my car an hour and 40 minutes later. So... not fast service. Seems like the kind of place you should have an appointment or leave and come back or something. Really frustrating how long it took.

Quick service, no line on the day that I went. Comfortable waiting room

Requested an appointment online two days ahead of time. Automatic email said I would get a response within 30 business minutes. I never received a response and called up the morning of the requested appointment time and explained, asked if there would be a wait. Was told 45 minutes and then when I got there 15 minutes later I was told an hour and a half because two people showed up. This location doesn’t know how to schedule appointments and won’t do anything to make up for that fact. I would not recommend this location.

The service was WONDERFUL.

I live down the street from this Midas and part of my key broke off inside my ignition in the morning which almost prevented me from getting to work. I shimmied my keys into the ignition and drove down. When I told the store manager the issue, he had a guy jump into my vehicle almost immediately and tried to get it out as quickly as possible. Great Service and Great Staff!

They advertise free alignment check but they never do it for free and bad customer service.

I took my 2017 Toyota Rav 4 in after I had returned from vacation as I was hearing a noise from the brakes. I thought it was going to be very costly and was dreading taking my vehicle in. As a woman Ive had negative experiences in the past where Auto shops would try & take advantage of me because Im a woman. To my surprise, they were very professional, used all the PPE stuff in my car due to Covid-19, came back in and let me know there was a rock that had gotten wedged between the caliper and the brake and didnt charge me a red cent. At that time I was so impressed and relieved that I had them go ahead and do an oil change as my car was close to being due and they explained the benefits of using full synthetic oil and thats what they recommended. I authorized that service and I was in and out in a jiffy! They also topped all my fluids off as well. Very friendly staff and mechanics. Clean shop and waiting area. I will be using this Midas for all my vehicles needs. Kuddos to the manager (he said he was a floating manager) as he was very busy, but was very patient and friendly with all his customers!

Stopped in after a check engine light came on in my mini cooper. Everywhere else I called said they wouldn’t have time to work on it since it was a Saturday. Technician that answered the phone said he had mini coopers and made me feel very comfortable. Was in and out in 2 hours. I’ll be coming back next time I have a problem.

I wish I could give this place ZERO STARS! They are a RIP OFF, and DISHONEST! We spent $620 to get our brake pads replaced here. They were supposed to be nice ceramic and long lasting. 1500 miles later they needed to be replaced... they did not offer any refund. They said we have lifetime warranty, but we’re going to charge us $120 just for the labor to replace them. They also told us our front rotors and struts needed to be replaced. They said one of the front struts was cracked and broken. Everything was going to be almost $1500 to replace. I went to another place and they were willing to replace our front break pads (parts and labor!) for less than Midas was willing to give me with my pads on warranty! We got everything done somewhere else for $640, and it turned out the front strut was not broken! It was seeping a little, but did not need to be replaced. They were dishonest... hands down. Going in Midas with two kids, pregnant with our third (2weeks from the due date), and my husband in graduate school I felt like they thought they could trick me... and our money is so tight right now. This place is terrible and a HUGE RIP OFF!! Never again will we do a chain. Eric’s Car Care is where we go now and LOVE!! Our car is running smooth, they didn’t try to oversell us, they educated us, and worked with us on price. I recommend them!!

This place was nice and quiet and clean. They had seats inside with tv to watch.I called a few days ago about an issue concerning my muffler. Edward told me to come in and they would take a look at it.Well yes...they did check it out for free....that was nice. They did it real quick like within minutes.It was so quick that I thought they were joking when they said they scoped it out....I would be crazy to think that quality service comes cheap but it doesnt.

I went to this midas for regular service the staff was very nice and polite the manager josh was very informitave they have a comfortable waiting area with wifi coffee and cable tv so I had something to do whil;e I waited covid 19 compliant and was pretty fast thank you midas I will return

I will always be a Midas customer. I am very happy with the service at every location that my family has had service done. Steve the manager here was very helpful when my daughter had her brakes repaired here. He called me right away and faxed me a copy of the repair order so I could review it with my husband. We are very pleased with the great attitude from these guys !

I went into this place Monday at around 9 o’clock and asked for an oil change a short hey Spanish gentleman was very rude to me and called for some guy over the intercom he was a tall or white guy even though he stunk I proceeded to tell him that I would like to get my car serviced yes what would you like to do and I told him in oil change and then I showed him a coupon for an oil change the look in his eyes changed in his expressions he became very short with me and said it would be a three hour wait but I didn’t see any cars in the first four days and they were all outside sitting down when I pulled in the driveway My boyfriend went there about six months ago to get some some work done on his car there was a white gentleman there with tattoos on his arms very nice took us right in Got us taking care of and gave us a fair price I wish he was still there

Very bad customer service. I had an appointment for today. Drove all the way only to be told that they cant keep the appointment. Either I leave the car or wait 2-3 hours or leave. No apologies, no taking responsibility for the mess up. I was an existing customer. Never going back after this experience. Would have appreciated if someone called me to let me know if they cant keep the appointment. What is the point of scheduling an appointment days earlier

I have a 2018 Audi A seven Quattro I went Saturday to a local shop by my house for a oil change and there service advisor came out and told me that I needed a new oil pan and transmission pan and was quoted parts and labor over $2000 and was supper mad so I just got my car and left today I went into the Midas on Westheimer and I met the General manager Simon how do yoGeneral manager Mr. Simon and he informed me that all I needed was just a new drain plug gasket and he got me out REAL QUICK! I must say this shop is u Dee new management and I will be coming back!!! And I will recommend this shop for their honesty and amazing prices and great customer service thanks!!!

Great overall experience. I did not have to wait long at all and they were very thorough. I will be coming back in a few months to get new tires with my regular maintenance.

This shop is incredible. I went in for my truck overheating. It turns out is was the radiator. Not only did they replace that, I also ended up with an oil change at a great price but also a new set of tires for a great deal. Who knew, one stop shop!

Brought my car there the other day for service, they identify several problems I had already known about. Leaving me with a solid impression of there clean and quick observation skills to identify problems with any vehicle I bring there. They offered a discount on everything, saving me 100s, which Im so happy for. They gave me a ride to work, and were done the same day. For the quality service here, I wouldnt choose any other. 20/10 if I could.

This is a great midas friendly staff . They dont push unnecessary services on you they showed me what I needed instead of just telling me and I got to take there word for it well not at this midas Simon is a great guy helped fix my car when others couldnt figure it. I will be returning here for now on.

My car was a nightmare to work on and these guys fixed it perfect and had good attitudes.

My wifes breaks were squeaking very badly. We came in thinking we were going to be handed an expensive replacement bill. Midas employees were very honest - they cleaned the breaks and let us know that it was only a rock causing the sound, which they removed. This kind of honesty is hard to find and very much appreciated. Well definitely be back!

I’ve had some issues lately with my car shaking while coming to a stop. They people at Midas were very friendly and took the time to show me exactly what was going on with my car. They charged me a fair price for the repairs and I will definitely be coming back in the future. Awesome job guys!!

This is the best place in town to get your brakes done. They wont cheat you ever and always have the best prices. The most amazing speed too. Rotors, brake pads, and oil change in under 30 minutes. No other place in town capable of that.

Rude employees and terrible customer service. They forgot to put the oil cap on after a routine oil change... Went for an inspection last month, and they didn’t call me like they said they would when they were finished.

Its really hard finding a good auto repair shop so when I came across this particular shop I was really pleased with the service I received. The manager Ryan was extremely helpful - answered all my questions and went over and beyond. Everyone there was really great . I will definitely be coming back here again.

With the cover 19 going on, they used all ppe available. Steering wheel cover, floor mats, seat covers, gloves, and masks. Service was great.

I got stranded on the side of the freeway yesterday and took my truck in to get looked at. I was told that they would look at it and then call me. Before closing time, I get a call that they had fixed it, without consent and that the bill would be $462. They didnt even call me. I had been pre-approved for Acima credit and was gonna use that to pay for it but then was told they dont use that finance service. Im an out of work server with minimal money on me and I told then I didnt have the money for it. He told me to borrow it from someone or they would take the parts off and still charge me $170 for diagnosis. They didnt even call me to consent to the charges. I would of taken it to the post oak location if I had known that. Then they charged me almost $70 for EACH part for labor. Thats ridiculous. I will never go back to this location and with tons of friends who live in the area, I will not recommend this location. How dare yall take advantage of someone like this especially in times like this. Now I have to figure out my personal finances because of the unprofessionalism of westheimer midas. Shame on yall

THEY WERE GREAT! My battery died in the Target parking lot nearby around 4:30pm. By the time I was able to get my car jumped, it was almost 6:00pm (Midas closing time). I called and spoke to Mike who said they would still be able to help me. I got there a little after 6 and they figured out I needed a new battery. They replaced it right then and there, even after they should have been closed. I was out of there within 15 minutes. I am VERY appreciative of how much they helped me. It would have been a major headache if it wasnt for them. I definitely recommend them and plan to go back in the future.Side note: apparently they are under new ownership, so some of the bad reviews may be directed towards the previous owner.THANKS AGAIN MIDAS!!!

These guys consistently take care of me and my husband’s vehicles. They always TREAT US RIGHT and give us SPOT ON SERVICE! My husband took our suv there today for break light issues and they went above and beyond for us. We will continue to be repeat customers and I’ll continue to refer my friends and family there. WE TRUST THEM, and you just can’t say that about a lot of car repair shops nowadays.

Amazing service! I came in today for an emergency brake service, I called ahead, they had the rotors and pads when I got there. They called me telling me my caliper had locked up completely and that with my permission they would order it and have the job done in the same amount of time.They communicated very well, extremely professional, and honest. And they are honest with pricing too. They wont screw you over on labor and sell you services you dont need. Im a car guy and I went over everything with them. While driving from lunch I noticed that when i pressed on my brake pedal my steering wheel started to shake. Took it in to Midas on Navarro in Victoria, TX and I thought it was going to be a tire balance issue. Once they got my truck in the shop they had my tires off in no time and let me know exactly what rotors needed to be changed and that all my brake pads where low and definitely needed to be changed before any more damage was done to brake system. I was VERY VERY pleased with the service I was given both inside the shop and outside the shop. Thank you Matt for all your help!!!!!

We called and spoke with Jason about coming in for a pre-purchase inspection. We arrived about 40 min before close. Not only did he stay about 30 min after close to make sure he did a thorough job for us so we didnt make a bad decision. Not only did he find what was wrong but personally took us and showed us why we shouldnt buy it and what to look for. He was super helpful and didnt act upset that we kept him late. All while he had to repeatedly ask his other 2 employees for help who just sat. We will definitely be coming back to Midas in the future. Awesome first experience.

This is my first time at this Midas location on 2/7/17 for an oil change and I wasnt impressed. As soon as I came in they person didnt seem to happy to greet me and didnt seem to friendly. I was the only person here and it didnt take long for the oil change. Ive been to another Midas on S.Post oak and they Have better customer service. This will be my last time at this location. $39.99 ridiculous for a basic oil change.

Had needed four tires on my car. They gave me great prices on a good set of tires! They recommended an Alignment, and I never knew it was out, they took care of me and my car!

I had my front brake pads and rotors replaced here 5 months ago. To this day my brakes still squeal and squeak. Brought back in and they told me to do a hard stop at 60mph. That didnt help and I thought the noise would eventually go away. Spent $450 and they sound worse than my original worn out pads.

Brought my Honda Element in for an inspection in 8/2016. They wouldn’t inspect because of a worn strut, and that I had to replace. Paid for $1300 worth of work and it immediately started pulling to the right as soon as I drove it off the lot. Took it back, they claimed transmission mount and that it would cost me another $800. Pass. Fast forward 1 year to inspection, won’t happen because they used USED and defective parts on the original job and won’t warranty it because of the “bad Houston roads.” Total BS job. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!

My car broke down and I had it towed to the Midas located on Westhiemer. I had my 3 small children with me and was having a terrible day. The service I received at Midas was quick, attentive, and professional. Marty and Rick the managers made sure to find cartoons on TV for my kids and really seemed to care. They got me in and out quick and gave me an honest price. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone!

Had an oil change done on my 2012 Tundra! The technician had it down with in 15 minutes and even came out and told me the people that did it before didnt put back all my skid plate bolts! He put new ones in and filled up my windshield wiper fluid at no additional cost. Excellent customer service! I will be back when I need more work done!

Stopped here by accident while looking for the River Oaks Firestone, which turned out to be further down the street.With that said, the guy at the front desk greeted me when I walked in, asked what I needed, then told me hed be right with me after he finished his customer call.As soon as he finished, he started my inspection. They were very honest, and the only thing he told me I needed were two windshield wipers...which I did actually need.He installed the wipers, and sent me on my way. The service here was quick and friendly. Based off if my experience, Id definitely recommend this place for a quick, no frills inspection.
