When it comes to people working on my cars, I take it very personal and with that being said I can honestly say this shop does a great job. They are timely and most importantly they follow up with me and never have given me “the run around”.. Fred the manager is easy to deal with and just a fair guy concerned of doing an excellent job to sustain my business. I highly recommend this place.

I have been going to this Kwik Kar for 15 years. It is the only place we go for Oil Changes, Inspections and other services. I have seen it go through a few owners after the long time owner retired. The owner now, Fred is great and the manager Seth is awesome. They are both hands on and make sure their customers are happy.

These guys are absolutely professional, I am a female I’m not too familiar with car maintenance. I appreciate Kwik Kar mechanic on Richmond helping me understand the maintenance needed.

Loved it first time here came for state inspection these guys are quick and efficient. Gave me a discount for bringing two cars. Will definitely come back for other car maintenance needs.

My wife and I found a great deal here for an oil change. I LOVE my sundays as rest days for my family to stay home together and just hang out. The last thing I wanted to do was to be stuck somewhere waiting for an oil change and inspection. To make it even less than thrilling, we have a very impatient (yet perfectly adorable) 2 year old son that will NOT let time pass without destroying a room. 😂😂They got us in and out quickly and were very polite and welcoming.We walked out as they were closing for the day at 4pm. We got down the road and thought we had left Max’s Lightning McQueen car toy and he was in pre-meltdown mode. As I called them to see if we left it, my wife found the toy and I hung up.I immediately got a call from the gentleman at kwik kar from his caller ID and he was making sure everything was okay...even after business hours.We will be back next round.

If I could give them a zero star I would. Do not go to this place. I took my car in due to a check engine light and they told me my head engine was bad and it needed to get replaced. They were charging me 1500 it seem kind of odd and I decided to get a second opinion. When I went to different shop they ask me if I had my car diagnosed paperwork. I told them they only gave me a manual slip of 89.99 what I pay for to get it it checked out, no code no description of the problem. They told me that’s not right they should have gave you more info if you pay for it to get it checked out. So he told me to call them to ask them for the code and when I did they told me they didn’t have one cause they never scanned the car because it was a mechanical issue not electrical which it doesn’t make any sense how will they come up with the issue. So it turned out to be a purge valve which cost me 300 bucks. If I would have decided to get the job done with the crooks I would have lost 1200 dollars. This is not cool at all and I regret not going back to get my 89.99 back from them.

I was recommended to them by a coworker and was impressed! I was having suspension issues that I was hoping to get my third party warranty to cover. The shop was willing to call and jump through all the hoops to try and get it covered. They communicated great through the whole process and I will be back in the future!

I was having shifting issues and they serviced my transmission, after that all the problems were gone. They provide a great and personalized service. They also did a full inspection of the car at no extra cost.

They were able to get me in quickly and ensured guests of 6+ft of personal space. I was worried about sitting in a crammed waiting room while my brakes were being worked on, not knowing exactly what would need done or how long I would be sitting there in my mask waiting. I was relieved when they quickly brought in my car, looked it over and went over the best deals and options for my situation. They handled things quickly, professionally, and safety consciously and I was in and out with no hassle or concerns!

Great Service!!! Ive gone there a couple of times to get my inspection sticker and the service is always very friendly and professional. Recently had brake service work done and once again I was pleased with the service. The owner as well as all of the employees are very knowledgeable and do their best to inform you of the best options for your vehicle in a way that never makes you feel pressured. Not to mention they have a clean waiting area and fresh coffee. I will most definitely be a return customer.

Juan took care of 2011 Chrysler 300C. I brought my own oil and filter. They had it ready in 45 minutes. They let me know it needed a new engine air filter so I went ahead and got that too. Great service and fast too. I will go back to get the transmission and rear differential oil replaced. 😀

Dont take your car to this place. The old man is a crook. He is so polite you will think hes genuine. He will find something wrong that doesnt on your car. I went for the first time this past August for an oil change. He told my battery was old so I agreed to get a new one. As if that was not enough he told me my gasket was leaking oil and showed me spots i didnt see. He said my car will break down if I dont fix the leak. He persisted that I have it done, offering to drop me to work while working on my car. I managed to leave without any further service to my car other than what I came for. So to prove him wrong I went to another shop for a second opinion and there was no oil leak. I vowed never to go back to that place again. But unfortunately 2 months later my car was having issues starting and I thought it was the battery, even though it was still fairly new. I found myself back at Kwik Kar because i bought the battery there and still under warranty. I wanted them to check if the problem was with the battery. After a test it showed the battery was good. So he made me wait while he checked what could be causing the problem. He decided it was the starter. He gave me a quote and an explanation (which i didnt believe) of how I needed the new starter and that my car will die if I dont get it fixed. I only went there for a battery check. I had no intentions of fixing anything. Again I left after not agreeing with his assessment, got second opinion, again. Anyways, my starter is good, didnt need a new one. Never had an oil leak he claimed from months ago. You will never see me there again. He proved me twice that hes a crook. He makes his money by lying to customers about bogus repairs.

I went in for an oil change and I was made to feel like I brought in a million bucks. Its all about acknowledgements, unstated needs and exceeding expectations at a great price. The whole team worked together to help me with my vehicle. I am very satisfied.

Everyone has different experiences but I went in for a state inspection and oil change. I needed additional work and he offered to hook me up. Even more, I was rear-ended and a body shop had given me an estimate of 2500 and a mechanic there gave me an estimate of 990. When you go, make sure you ask for Carlos. He took VERY good care of me, set me up with a great rate and a great deal. The hospitality was greatly appreciated and definitely didn’t go unnoticed. They were quick and efficient and I was on my way home within 30 minutes. If I incur any future problems, I will follow up with anything that may happen but for now, I couldn’t be ANY happier with the service I received. I would highly recommend using their services. Any business that takes time to help you save money, is a business worth considering!

The owner will come off as kind and understanding but the reality is that he wants to take all the money from you like a blood sucking vampire hidden behind a toothy smile. I tried asking for help to jump start my car literally two buildings down and the first thing he did was give me a $45 receipt to hook up some cables to start it (like a helpful stranger would without monetary compensation). I would not recommend this place at all and I would hope the next person can see past this conman. PS: I recommend the shop next to this place.

I went in for an inspection, I needed a few things fixed to pass. They were fast and so very friendly! I sat outside enjoying the weather while I waited, the Owner/manager kept checking on me to see if I wanted anything to drink. The pricing was comparable to other places, but the service was awesome here! For sure they will get my repeat business. He even showed me something on my seatbelt I had no idea it could do!!

It’s just a shame that he quoted me $295 for rear brakes and then the next day quoted my husband $190 for the same service. This is why I don’t trust mechanics because they’re all misogynists trying to scam women into paying more for services.**edit 5/31/19: the brakes my husband purchased from the Subaru dealership cost $75 (retail, not wholesale). The difference in your two quotes is $105... I know you’re a business and you need to make money but you’re charging way more than the retail of the brake parts.

Beware of where you choose to get your car serviced. The owner of this business is scammer. Hell create a mechanical problem then offer you the solution to get it repaired at his shop. I went for a state inspection, he failed me for some faulty brake pads. I went back to the dealership and a certified technician told me nothing was wrong. Helping small businesses is key to keeping the community going but guys like him just make you loose faith in people. Go at your own risk.

These People are family, some of the most amazing customer service that I have ever seen in my existence. I bought a certified pre owned 2018 Nissan Maxima, I assumed the vehicle ran amazing when I bought it from the dealership, However when I came here to receive my old change then left, I immediately notice a change in my engine performance, it turns out that the car ran better when I left kwik Kar then it did when I 1st left the dealership, it turns out the dealership did not use synthetic oil which is recommended by the manufacturer but quick car did. Thank you so much

I had to wait 3 hours for an oil change. Yup, you got that right. It’s not a 10 minute oil change like there sign says. I would have been understanding if it was 30 minutes and be reasonable. It’s not that case. And they got the wrong air filter too! I don’t leave reviews but it’s worth to leave one here because to warn others to find some other more reputable place.

Juan was really really nice. A true gentleman as soon as you walk in. Got me in and out in about 20 mins. A full Service oil change is 29.99 though. Thought it would be 19.99 but I guess thats just oil and filter only. Ill definitely be back though. The Service was worth it!

The owner reminds me of typical shady salesman. I went in for a oil change. He tried to sell me an upgrade on the oil, on the air filter, deferential check, and a few other things. I explained I have a regular mechanic that checks everything, that I do my own air filter because it is a reusable Volant, and I only need the oil change. When I picked up my truck he continued to push me on getting future things done with him. Personally my gut impression is to not trust the guy but they changed my oil and did a fair job. You will just have to put up with a pushy salesman. Also on my bill he charged me twice for a $2 Special Filter Charge. I did not notice until I was home. Seems like he tries to nickle and dime you. I could easily see him taking advantage of someone that was not familiar with their vehicle.

First Time here had Excellent Service!!!They Speak Spanish too.I got an oil change and they even physically showed me and notified me my band was wearing and giving out and i should change it soon and even though i did not opt to do it there they were nice and even walked me out 👍😊 Looks like this will be my oil change place now. Went in for an inspection after work. Front desk man advised me to replace my break pads since they were almost gone and break fluid was low. I was aware of my break pads needing replacing for about a year, so I just went ahead and did it. I was happy with the service, and everything was quick. I made it home before dark!***I did not see the fat man the bad reviews talk about. I was helped by a man with a hat!

Worse service that I received in my entire life. They just plan how to grab your money for nothing. However that I promised myself to never comeback to this shop because of their extremely poor service but just because of warranty on purchased battery I went there and indicate that just check the battery and dont touch the car for any other reason but they send my car to another shop for diagnostic without my permission and charge me almost 100$ for no result. I went to pick up my car from other shop and noticed they just started to find out whats the problem and as they refused to close and put back all open cables, I show them my paid invoice which made them surprise, so he decide to finish his diagnostic and just because of the force and pressure which was on me asked him to help me and just finish this long story.I will never forget their bad attitude and their worse treat in front of my son.I dont know how they can bring such a money for their families.

Really bad place, my wife took her car, they told her bull**** about the car everything was wrong... The charged almost $300 bucks for just changing the brakepads, (really bad work), I had to go to rescue her from the S**** they wanted to replace or fix the owner seems so friendly but hes just a scam... Scam oil place, they used the cheapest oil available even if you pay for more. When there like a month ago, to do the 3,000 mile oil change and my engine almost got f**ked up. After that I went to Take 5 it was a lot better.

Had a leak in my cooling system. It was leaking underneath. All they had to do was put on lift and look. Instead he made unnecessary repairs, charged for diagnosis he did not do. After repairs it still leaked. Finally they put it on lift and saw leak in heating tubing. Took 2 hours to make patch because mechanic disappeared . Charged me twice for coolant, would not remove extra charges. Gave me 40.00 credit when I paid 150.00 extra. Took 4 hours for a 20 minute repair. Very disappointing

They strongly suggest you to have air filter cleaned and other service when you do car inspection here. If you dont, you still have to come back at the same place in 15 days. So, they are more than happy to HELP you.

They are liars and crooks. This location is run by the crooks. They lie about the price, quality, break stuff on your car to charge more to the customers. If your car passes the inspection test, they break something on your car to show it failed and force you to pay more to get it fixed right there otherwise they wont let your car leave. They say, its states policy not to let a car leave if its not safe to drive and they know that its not safe to drive. They purposely break stuff on your car like a hose, poke a hole in the radiator, break your wipers, damage your tires, etc. just to get more money from the customers. I wish that there was a negative star available, I would have reported 100 times to give them a review they deserve. Front desk person is very politely rip you off and a complete cheater. He provides wrong information with confidence knowing that customer doesnt know anything and wouldnt know.

This owner said I had an oil leak and quoted me 3500 to fix it . LMFAO🤣🤣🤣. Then tried to sell me a high quality oil at double the price. I went to the Audi dealership and they quoted me 1800. This dude will Rip u off with a free glass of Coffee.

Good god this place is a cesspool of thieves. I was in the waiting area and the sales mech tried twice to swell extra services with oil changes. Fuel injectors and the other was a transmission. They wouldnt pass my Texaa safety inspection unless I bought new wipers. FYI the ones I had where nearly new. Stay away and any review over 2 star is fake.

FRAUD’s they have been charging me for Synthetic oil change.But have been putting the normal oil in my car.Before using them I used to put synthetic oil and was changing oil every 5000miles but from last 2 oil changes my car shows me SERVICE REQUIRED every 2500 miles.Will never use this frauds again I am taking my business to WALLMART or PEPBOYS
