I tried all of the well-known nail salons closer to popular places like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods, but this place exceeds those by far, in my opinion. First, every time I tried other nail salons, they would make my toes bleed to where the scabs would stay for weeks. Second, the building itself has all of these large windows to feel like a real retreat. Third, the ladies are extremely friendly and will massage as if I am at a relaxing getaway. Everything about this place from the affordability to the peaceful environment is what makes me return every 3 weeks.They service a lot of older clients as well as everything in between, so that you know it’s quality service. Yes, the location isn’t in the most convenient location but it’s not terrible. Parking can be a pain but I make an effort to come on off-times. And they prefer cash but have credit card available if needed. Highly recommend calling ahead to see when they can fit you in.

I really like me their service. The owner was very friendly and painted my nails exactly how I asked. They’re not overpriced for the area. Also, they have those amazing massage chairs! Great place!!

The women here are so nice! I was thoroughly impressed by their teamwork and the overall positive environment. I came to them with the ugliest hands and feet and they fixed me right up! Ive never been to a place where they also gave a neck massage as part of their service. Wow. They do prefer cash over card which thankfully I had. Will come here again the next time Im in Houston.

The staff is always courteous and do a professional mani & pedi. After I had a stroke on my left side the proprietor made extra effort rubbing my left hand to help relieve numbness as one of her family member had had a stroke as well. I usually go on Monday so they call me Mr. Monday. I cannot use my left hand to grip clippers at home so I appreciate their attention to detail whether on my hands or feet. I’ve been going for years (since their old location on Shepherd).

I had the best experience. Sometimes I get nervous getting my nails done because if I don’t like them I don’t want to be mean. The lady was so nice and asked every step if I liked them. She did everything perfectly. She even made me a color because the color I wanted was see through. Amazing amazing amazing! Can’t say enough great things

I came in for the first time tonight Jeanie and Tiffany did my nails. They were so nice to me and they did a great job. Their shop is cute and beautiful. Also, they are very affordable which is a plus. They make you feel at home and I will definitely be back!

Poor service, Staff push you to give them tip even when your are not satisfied, the lady who did my eyebrows messed my brows did an aweful job, the pedicure lady was ok not satisfactory just ok they ask for tip as if it’s mandatory and if you give less the say you need to give go each of them that serviced you.

Something about their white shirts and heels let me know I was in good hands. I got The Color Factory in shellac. I loved the attention to detail I can tell theres a level of accountability felt for their artistry. Best looking manicure Ive had in a long time.

I have been coming here for 20+ years. Their pricing cant be beat and the quality of service is wonderful!! The same women have been there since I started going back in 2000. Neck and shoulder massage thats included with your mani pedi is my favorite!They make you feel like family. I LOVE this place and wont go anywhere else.

Very nice place! The nail tech (I think her name was Jenny) was sweet and made sure to be super careful while taking off my acrylics and putting on a new set. She took her time and made sure that the nails looks good and natural. Loved the place and would totally go again!

My favorite nail salon in Houston! I have tried dozens of nail salons within the loop (literally every neighborhood) and Neon is by far my favorite. All the girls that work there are amazing and SO friendly. They always make sure you’re relaxed, taken care of, and happy with your services. Jeanie is the BEST at my dip manicures and truly takes her time and pays attention to every detail. I won’t go anywhere else!! Love this place.

I believe in 2nd chances so gave it a 2nd try. Disappointed again: only 48hrs later my gel mani-pedi is chipping off already. Edges are noticeably uneven. Also, I tried to but couldn’t appreciate the eye-rolling when I couldn’t give cash tip, nor the almost in your face stare-down (and more eye-rolling) as I provided a credit card tip. Sorry it didn’t work out, good luck.

Im relatively new to Houston and I asked around for recommendations for a mani/pedi and Im so glad to have found Neon Nail. The women that work here are kind, professional, courteous and really go the extra mile--and for $35 for a mani/pedi--you really cant beat it! During my first appointment, I learned that Neon Nail has been in a couple locations in Houston for over 30 years, with some women having worked there for 20+ years! It really is a small, family-owned business that reflects what makes Houston great. Ill be happy to come again and support Neon Nails.

I stumbled on this place because I was looking for a place that took a walk in which is hard these days and called around. They were so sweet and wonderful. It is definitely no frills (no mimosas, etc) but it is nice, clean and they get the job done. Only $25 for a pedi, $31 for a mani/pedi combo and for a gel mani/regular pedi combo its $50. They also give you a neck massage. I got the gel mani and regular pedi and both look great. I would recommend going here for affordable and quick service that is also clean and professional. (PS they love you even more if you pay cash, especially the tip).

I love Neon nails! I take my daughter to get her a manicure and pedicure. All the sweet ladies that work there pamper her and treat her like a princess! Best nail salon in Houston

I recently moved to the area and was in search of a nail salon! I dropped in at this one, because was just a 10 minute walk from my apartment. I loved it!!! If youre looking for a fancy, chandeliers all over, resort kind of place, this is not for you. It is quaint and the atmosphere is just lovely. All of the ladies working here are super sweet and make you feel at home and relaxed. Even though they dont have those spa chairs, you still find that relaxation. The work they do is great! I loved how my shellac manicure and pedicure came out! Plus, the prices are very comfortable! Definitely found my nail home!

I have never received a manicure or pedicure before, so I called in ahead of time to see what I was getting myself into. The owner was very helpful and accommodating while explaining the process, benefits, and price. She was very excited to meet me when I eventually came in, and even chimed me in on some health tips to keep my hands/feet healthy going forward. This was a fantastic experience overall and I will definitely be returning to this location!

Great nail tech who knows what they are doing

I will never come back. I came to get a polish change and I had my credit card to pay, and the lady asked for my payment when I was done. I was giving my credit card and she say I had to spend 10.00. So I told her fine when my nails dry I will get the cash out of my jacket in my car. So I sat and waited on nails to dry I advised the lady before I left I’m about to go get your money. So she then try to say I can take yo card so I said no you told me to give cash I’m gonna get the cash. Now it took both lady’s to come watch me and she didn’t want to let me leave, but for one that was embarrassing and I feel a it was a bit racist. She tried to tell me a story, but I feel nothing can make up for the embarrassment I felt with the other customers watching and I wasn’t rude to begin with. But I politely snatched my change and left. Never going back.

Some Of the women there do a pretty good job and I’ve been going there for quite some time. My aunts been a customer for years and years. However, the last time I went to get a shellac polish change they tried to charge me $25 which is $5 extra dollars then it should be because “they had to take my polish off” which shouldn’t have mattered because I got the polish done there previously. That bothered me because I had to argue with them because I knew it wasn’t right so I was not going to go back. I went back today just so I wouldn’t have to pay the $5 somewhere else to get the polish off they put on 2 weeks ago. Now today they tried to charge me $26 and I explained again that that’s not right. She then said, oh ya it’s $25 because you don’t want a manicure... makes noooo sense. I’ve always paid $20 for the shellac there. I noticed their price sheet today actually said $15 so I don’t even know why I was charged $20 then $25 then almost $26. I don’t like their character. It’s not about the $ it’s about the principle. Sketchy women. Lost a long time customer and family.

They do not have the proper tools to take acrylic off of toes. It took 2 hours for her to do a pedicure that would normally take an hour if they had a nail drill. The technician literally ripped off part of my real nail when removing the acrylic portion. Will not be coming back.

The Mani pedi experience was amazing. Very fun and welcoming atmosphere. The massage I got was amazing definitely going back again in 2 weeks.

It took them about 30 minutes to get started on me. They were friendly and the mani pedi was great. Afterwards, when I was paying, she covered over me as I signed the receipt & write in a tip. She asked me if I had cash before I even handed it back. I told her no that I already left the tip on the card. She asked if that was all I was going to leave them. That is so unprofessional and rude. Had I not been there for 2 and a half hours for an average mani pedi I would have left a bigger tip. Don’t think I’ll be returning here.

Regular mani/pedi set is $35. Had two women working on me at the same time and they both were very attentive. Fantastic massage came with it. Major downside was that they dont have dryers so I just had to wait there awkwardly waiting for my nails to dry

Neon Nails is the place to go! Trust me! I moved here from San Antonio and went to 3 other shops, who had no care, attention to detail, and did horrible nails, polish, and had poor custoner service. Neon is so reasonable and they did an excellent job on me. Today was my first time there AND IT WILL BE MY PLACE AND HOME for my mani/pedi. Just came from there and after a bit of misunderstanding about material for my toe nail finishing (got normal nail polish even though I asked for Shellac) the Shellac on my hands started to peel off - probably wasnt hardened under the UV long enough...

Not the best cuticle work. They dont offer a foot spaw either.
