This place is pricier than at least the other places in the area that I’ve been to. I do have to say my nails look perfect. I felt like she was going to hurt me a few times since she was a little rough (an hour before closing so I get it) but she never did! She was skilled and experienced and I give it to them the place is beautiful and it’s quality work. My technician’s name was Jennifer and she was sweet! They need more powder color options but I was overall pleased. I will be back.

This nail establishment is horrible this was my 2nd time trying out this place and each time failed. The first time I got a pedicure and it was horrible! I have a spa I own near by and I’m traveling tomorrow so I said let me try them again… big mistake I requested a pedicure and a powder removal…. The nail tech act like he was touching a cat and no one never came to remove my powder nails. I informed them I had to leave by 5 I came in at 3:30pm they said okay. No one never came to do my hands but other women came in was serviced with 2 techs doing their nails and feet. I decided to say something and the receptionist stated no one wanted to take off my powder and she was texting her manager about it. I walked out, this place isn’t welcoming and they’re morally wrong. I have tons of clientele at my spa and know a lot of people in Houston. This establishment will be a staple of not supporting at all!

I spent over $100 on getting my nails done (acrylic with shellac for the chrome on top) a week ago and 2 of them have already broken, and the shellac they used is peeling off of my other nails. I used to go here more often when I lived down the street and never had issues like these and this was when I worked at an animal rescue and was way more rough on my hands (they would still last about 3 weeks before needing a refill or breaking), I work at an office on a computer these days and am not rough on my hands at all so Im not happy with the fact that 2 of them have already broken in literally 1 week of getting them done. I forgot to mention when I asked for a stiletto shape the technician didnt know what that was and I ended up with thick rounded almond shaped nails, even after showing them photos.

My experience could’ve been a lot better. I originally had an appointment with Brandon and coco insisted that she take half of the service . She was pretty pushy. She had a very strong opinion about what color I should get and I was rushed to chose. I wasn’t asked for a beverage from either of the two. Brandon cut too close to my cuticles and didn’t give me the shape requested. My pedicure was rushed, and at the end of my service they overlooked what I booked an appointment for online and tried to charge me more for the service requested .

Tried this new nail spa salon today and was greeted by Henry who was very friendly. Told him it was my first time trying this new place and they saw me right away without a appointment. This place was so nice and lots of colors to choose from. I had a fantastic manicure and Oak Forest pedicure. It was so relaxing and the aroma just made me melt away. Shayla did my pedicure and was so nice and great to talk to. She made sure I felt comfortable and the package I chose came with a neck massage that was really good. To top it off they offered me a glass of wine that made the experience even better. I definitely will be back and they now have a new customer.

I think the lady I had wasnt good. She was suppose to do ombré yellow and it was not blended well. When she put the acrylic it was far from my cuticle, looked like I needed a refill already. And thinking it was an upper end nail shop she couldnt do what I really wanted. She charged me 74 dollars and it was not even what I wanted and she kept messing up.

Completely unprofessional front desk staff. Came in at 3pm with no appointment. I asked what the wait time would be, she told me 20 minutes. I asked if I could just comr back at 3:30 and she said no 4pm. I then asked if I could just come back in 20 mins versus waiting in store. She said no I said 4pm. I asked what the difference was in me waiting in store for the 20 minutes or just coming back. Front desk staff rolled her eyes. This place is too expensive to get poor quality customer service.

First off, what luxury nail salon doesnt have their spa packages available on a Friday? Second, the technician I got was so rough when dealing w my cuticles. She hurt me at least five different times throughout the process. No water or wine was offered to me. No massages or other packages available were offered either. Almost like she didnt care if the customer was comfortable or having a pleasant experience. When I brought attention to a spot on my nail, my technician decided to blame me verbally for it. I am highly disappointed because for the price of $48 for a basic shellac manicure, I would have had better service at a small, low key nail salon that would treat me way better than this place did. Save your time and money and try a different place unless youre a glutton for paying for overpriced nail services offered by a technician that couldnt care less.

It’s so expensive here, I wanted a normal full set with shellac in coffin shape and the girl that made my nails didn’t even know how to do a coffin shape, my nails look so rounded and thick. I paid $86 for just a regular full set with shellac, like nothing special. They charge you $20 for shellac 🤬. In on other places I paid $86 or more but I put some rhinestone

I have been going here for a while and while my nail tech is awesome, lately every time I make an appt, when I arrive I am told there was a mistake and the appt was done correctly or not showing. They don’t even try to make arrangements for you. Such a nice salon to treat customers that way! I will not be going back! Sadly they don’t appreciate their customers because this has happened several times already.

The staff at Brush Box were really sweet. My normal nail lady at Ritual Pedi Spa was out at another salon and Nails by Tina was closed. So I decided to give Brush Box a try. Their prices were reasonable for the services I got. The place felt really modern and clean. The only thing I didn’t love was the pedicure chair itself. The chairs are built in so they couldn’t go back far enough for me to be comfortable. I’m 5’7” so that part of my pedicure was uncomfortable. But everything else was great! Lisa did my nails and they weren’t sore afterward which I’ve found to be a norm after getting a refill. No tenderness and beautiful. Coco did my pedicure and she did a great job as well. She was very gentle. I would definitely go back.

This was the first time that Ive been to this salon. Ive been searching for a place that had the right ambiance, staff, cleanliness, and customer service. I found this spa by chance online while searching for other places. I am a customer that doesnt mind spending and tipping. This location is a bit of a drive for me but i didnt mind looking into it. I knew I was in desperate need of some help :).Walking in this morning around 10am was just as promised on the website. The decor, awesome smell, and friendly staff was the first things that got me right away. I seen a few ladies getting services and decided to stay. Theres tons of colors to choose from. I wanted to start off with the basics before I asked for more services.I got a vintage manicure and added gel nail polish. I also got the Oak Forest pedicure. Ryan did an amazing job. And Trang did amazing on my nails. My cuticles were nothing nice but her technique was top notch. My nail beds are a little thin but around the sides and finger tips skin can get thicker. She not only took her time but slowly worked around the thinner areas of my nails. I was very impressed and happy with the service. The wax that was applied to my hands was amazing. Trang let me know that, if I enjoyed the wax that its included in the Garden Oaks.Ryan worked miracles on the pedicure. His massage technique instantly put me in relax mode. My life is on constant go mode and it was nice to unplug. So to end my amazing experience he did my shoulder massage. I didnt realize that there was a hand dryer and foot dryer by the bar area. So after I left and called back about touching up the polish on two toenails. I spoke with the hostess over the phone and she was lovely. Offered that I come back in.Upon coming back I was greeted again warmly and Ryan was asked to come and help me. He got me all squared away. I learned upon coming back that there is also a membership program. Looking forward to joining as I plan on this being my new place! So excited thanks to everyone at Brush Box for making my experience today all around a wonderful relaxing experience.*******UPDATE*******Went back to Brush Box again today for my 2nd visit. This time I had an appointment. I requested that my manicure be done seperately. I like to relax and enjoy each service. Just my own preference. I was not disappointed. Ryan did my pedicure that was amazing! He is hands down my go to. His pedicures are so awesome. Instantly the stress from the week just faded away. I tried a new manicurist, Coco did my Mani. She is awesome sauce, with extra sauce. Coco was so helpful in picking out colors and a style. With the holiday season there are so many busy designs. I loved her simple lines. It reminds me of gift wrap paper. Love this place. From the hostess (I will have to get her name when I go back) at the front, the decor, and the staff. Hands down the best place to unwind and get pampered in Houston! 🎄

I love going to Brushbox and it is the only place that I get my nails done monthly since they’ve opened. I’ve had numerous technicians work on me and everyone has done an amazing job both male and female. A few things that I believe set it apart from other nail salons is the modern environment, cleanliness, professional work staff, booking and paying system make it easy.I few things that would highly recommend for the business is: to replace the black stools that the technician sits on when working on your nails at the spa chairs (I always get a mani and petty at the same time) The stools are very unstable and one day somebody is going to have a big accident because the legs keep on moving in. The other is to have more small bills/cash in hand so that customers can break their larger bills for tipping in cash.Other than that, I love Brushbox and will continue going myself and bringing my friends with me. I’m so happy that you guys opened up in Oak Forest.

Disappointed. I chose this place because it looked like a more like a spa experience. When I arrived for my pedicure there were five women there for a birthday party and had about 8 small children with them. They were talking loudly and drinking and the children were yelling and running and pushing each other around in the manicurist chairs. It was a loud, obnoxious, stressful experience instead of a relaxing one. I should have realized that if a place like this caters more to events that they won’t focus as much on quality services. While I was in the salon, I wasnt offered anything to drink which I think is pretty standard. I also found it very overpriced... I picked the most basic pedicure because it was so expensive and this one didnt include any cuticle removal or nail shaping.... none of the fancy things like hot wax or stones either. It was a really mediocre treatment experience aggravated by an obnoxious environment. Wish I had picked a cheaper place for a better quality pedicure.

Great first trip to Brush Box. I’m new to the area and will continue to come here for my mani/pedi. It’s not a budget salon, but you’re not getting a budget treatment. It’s a beautiful salon, great products, drinks on offer and heaps of color choices presented in a clean orderly way—lots of detail that gave me a feel of value for money and a more spa like experience rather than something on my todo list. Thanks Sandy and An for a lovely mani/pedi!

I came in to this location instead of my regular salon to have gel powder removed from my nails because it was a convenient location for me. The salon itself was beautiful and clean and the receptionist was very nice, but I will not be going back. The technician was unfriendly and badly damaged my nail beds. She gouged them with the file when taking my gel powder off and now the top layer of my nail is peeling. The damage done to my nails will likely take a few months to grow out.

Nice salon, with lovely extras. My pedicure was fine. My dip polish was the worst Ive ever had. I had to go back twice to repair 4 nails. 3 cracks on the tips (which Ive had happen before, but not 3 times on the same set) 1 split all the way down the center (which Ive never had happen before) On the first trip they said it was pretty bad, bu I didnt push and let them just add layers as a fix. On the second trip I asked them to redo my nails in another color incase it was the powder instead of fixing or give me a refund so I could go get them redone at my normal shop. Because we were a day before a week I would need to pay for another manicure at half price or take a fix on the one nail for free. No refund because the time the nail tech had put in and because they work on commission. Im going to get it redone at my regular place where Ive never had this problem in the years Ive had dip polish.
