I linked through this service with my home warranty. I got a confirmed date and time via email from them. Tech called Sunday saying he had me down for a completely different time and day. I told him that was wrong and I was not available however we could choose something that works for the both of us. He said 10am because he lived so close to me. No window or estimate but 10am. I was relieved. 10am came, 10:20am no text, email or call. Finally at 10:42am the tech called and said he would see me in 10min. 11:21 is when he finally showed up. Nonetheless my dishwasher actually started working as I was explaining to him what happened! I was irritated to say the least. But even more so when I knew I was being charged. He called his supervisor and explained everything that happened. I knew he was doing that to see if he should still collect payment and whoever was on the end of that line made the decision. I understand a fee is required however based on him being late and not communicating better a courtesy discount seems like the right thing to do.Especially since you didn’t provide a service. I don’t recommend doing business with this company. It was an integrity issue for me. Lack of customer service. I didn’t learn anything from this experience on how to prevent this from happening in the future. First and last time they will ever visit my residence.

Houston Device Services was sent to repair our Scotsman ice maker through our home warranty company. The ice maker was working but making a loud noise. After two hours with two technicians looking at their phones for diagnostics they said it was a pump. They also said they would reconnect the maker and it would work until the claim was submitted. The ice maker has never worked again. After trying to contact them numerous times with getting “the mailbox is full” message I finally spoke to a person who said they would resolve the issue and call me back by the end of the day. I never received a call back and had to go through the whole process again the following week. Speaking to the same person again I was given a bunch of excuses and was told again he would call back with a solution. I still have not received a call back and am in week two of my ice maker not working. Steer clear of this company they are unprofessional, unreliable and dishonest.

Ben was very professional and extremely helpful with fixing my dishwasher. I have gotten many quotes, some way overpriced, for fixing it and his was the best, plus it was quality work. Will definitely recommend him.

Ben came to my home to install my washer and dryer with very short notice. Ben was very professional over the phone and in person. He was polite and provided excellent customer service. Ben Nash of Houston Device Experts was dispatched by my home warranty company to repair my Thermador refrigerator. It took him a week just to get out to look at the unit. The home warranty company approved the part the same day, but over three weeks later he has not returned to complete the repair despite the part being in possession of the part for approximately 10-12 days. Additionally, he cashed my check the very same day before completing the repair. He is now not only refusing to come back out and complete the work, but he is holding the part hostage (which he didn’t pay for - it was paid for by the warranty company. I have since had to pay another vendor to come out and work on the unit and I guess I’ll have to take him to small claims court to get a refund.There us something very shady about this guy and this company. Avoid them like the plague.Beware!

The Tech, came out to fix my Dryer it wasnt getting hot, and my clothes would take to long to dry, called on a monday, the tech came Tueday to fix it. Thank you for a job well done.
