Reiners has a nice low key atmosphere, great customer service, and fair prices. I came in looking for a ring setting for an emerald cut diamond. Bert showed me what they had in the store, and we discussed making a custom design. He was very pleasant to work with, very patient and accommodating. Ultimately they made a customized setting based on a ring in stock that wasnt quite perfect for me, and they made further small revisions to be sure I was happy with it. Theres too much to mention so Ill keep it short. These guys are the go to place for wedding bands in my mind. Let me explain: Im not rich (yet), and I needed a mens wedding band on the cheap. They were very upfront with me about their high quality products at a more affordable price point. They didnt have my size and the style of a stainless steel wedding band I selected in the store but they ordered it and it arrived in no time. Not only that, they set me up with a VERY realistic looking silicon wedding band that was VERY affordable in the mean time. AND when I came to pick up the stainless steel wedding band I arrived late, at close, and they were nice enough to let me in and get my ring despite locking up. They also hooked me up with a sweet swag bag, ring case, etc. These guys are legit. They respected me like any other high roller customer despite my lesser means. Ask for Bert! I am so glad my husband found this place! I had an old diamond necklace and ring I wanted made into earrings. I also had an old diamond tennis bracelet I wanted made into an eternity band. They did an amazing job! Everything far surpassed my expectations. Everything was done beautifully and in a timely manner. I brought in my engagement ring that needed to be sized up a whole 1.25 size and the band was already very thin, but Bert was extremely helpful and comforting in guaranteeing that would not be an issue.Also, since this was my first time ever resizing a diamond ring, I was very concerned about the potential of diamond swapping. However, Bert again was very understanding and patient in providing all the reassurances that helped me feel more comfortable with letting my ring “out of sight”. They do an inclusion analysis of your diamond for any inclusions or inscriptions beforehand and let you see and note for yourself (turns out my diamond was inscribed!). Then at pick up you check for these inclusions again.Will definitely be coming back for my future jewelry!

I’ve been shopping here for a few years now - purchases include custom earrings, an engagement ring, and wedding bands. Make sure to ask for Bert! He has been extremely helpful in designing the jewelry, picking the stones/bands, etc. He also has always been quick to respond to a call or text when I had a question. Really no reason for me to go anywhere else!Also, don’t let all the “custom” work they do scare you away. Yes, the products are of much higher quality than you will get at most other places, but you’ll find the price point is generally very fair, and you never know when you might be surprised by a good deal. Ditch the overpriced designer pieces that clutter the bigger shops and get the real deal here (they might have a small selection of designer options, but largely they hand make the jewelry for you and charge a margin above what it costs them to make). Turnaround times are very quick when they’re custom making pieces (a few weeks is my experience, but I’m sure it could vary depending on complexity).Lastly, don’t fall for the large store footprint of some of their competitors. The store is a little small, but the selection is great, and their custom capabilities make the possibilities endless.I would highly recommend and will return again in the future.

My husband bought my wedding rings from Reiner’s. It’s beautiful and they did a great job!!! I love it!! Great customer service. Bought a ring there almost 4 years ago and never had it sized. One of the employees (owner perhaps) has talked me out of getting it sized due to me just having a baby and fluctuating weight changes that accompany that stage of life. I made the mistake this week of taking my antique black opal and diamond ring that my husband bought me for my birthday to Reiners Fine Jewelry to be re-sized. They thinned out the band and changed the shape of the ring, creating sharp angles around the front of the ring. They made the ring too big, and now it slides around on my finger, which will put the opal in danger. They ruined my ring, and then didnt even get the size right. They did not tell me that they would change the shape, and create these weird sharp angles on the band. Ive bought jewelry here in the past, but never again. If they do such an amateurish job on re-sizing, I would not trust their jewelry.

Reiners made my shopping experience so easy. I was at ease knowing that I was in good hands as he was extremely knowledgable on fine jewelry and diamonds. When it eventually came down to choosing a jeweler and a ring, I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. Mr. Reiner helped me with every step of the process and had the mold created before I gave my final approval to create the perfect ring for my fiancee. My fiancee was absolutely in shock when she saw it for the first time in the Maldives and still to this day she thinks its the most perfect ring ever.

I brought my emerald ring to Reiner’s to be reset into a new setting. Mr. Reiner was very helpful suggesting setting options that could work. My ring was finished in 6 days and it turned out so beautiful. The price for the reset was very reasonable. I will definitely be returning to Reiner’s in the future for help!

Great experience with Reiner’s on a recent repair. We had a 40 year old ring (fairly low dollar value ring, but lots of sentimental value to my wife) that was coming apart. Reiner’s custom jeweler created a mold of the ring and completely rebuilt the ring using the old materials (came out much better than the original). Very fair price and didn’t experience any up selling even though this was a comparatively small transaction. Very impressed with friendliness, but even more importantly, professionalism, fairness and quality of workmanship. Would definitely recommend Reiner’s.

Such a great jeweler, I commissioned a custom setting for my now fiancé and the process was flawless! Reiner’s used C.A.D. to make a rough draft then a wax mold. All engraving and finishing was done by hand. 10/10Loved the more relaxed atmosphere, nowhere near as uptight as other jewelers.

I had my engagement ring sized at Reiners and it was the easiest process, Im simply dropped it off and received a text as soon as it was ready. I felt the cost of $75 was fair since my band was fairly straightforward (no pave, just gold). I was looking for a ring enhancement for my wife for our 20th year wedding anniversary. I was convinced to come to this establishment because of the great reviews that I saw on line.The service I received today was nothing short of poor!I was greeted by a young white kid, (who didnt even know what a ring enhancement was) I didnt get his name, but he told me that what I wanted would require custom design which was not a problem.He quickly grabbed a plastic bag and told me to leave the ring that my wife was wearing and he would get back to me with a quote without even knowing exactly what style of enhancement or how many diamond carats I was looking for.He spoke fast and acted as though he had better things to do rather than assisting me.I felt very rushed and was truly disappointed with the customer service.Needless to say I went to Deutschs 2 miles up the road and was greeted with excellent customer service and purchased my wife a 3 carat ring enhancement.Im sure this establishment could have provided exactly what I wanted but because of an inexperienced sales representative I went else where.I believe that everyone deserves a second chance but your only married for 20 years once in this life time.

Had a good experience choosing a wedding band and getting some pearls. Also had two rings cleaned/plated and they looked like new. They were able to get the custom wedding band ordered and delivered within 48 hours and also had the cleaning done, too. Excellent, prompt service. I highly recommend them and look forward to more business.

They treat you like a VIP whether you’re spending $10 or $10,000. Every staff member I’ve spoken with is super helpful...I’ve gone here for the littlest things and no one has ever been impatient. In fact, one employee spent 20+ minutes picking out earring backs for my diamond studs so that they would be a perfect fit. Not a high dollar item, but I was still given a ton of attention. I’ve been doing business with Reiners for 30 years. Their customer service is outstanding. They treat you like friends. They are honest and have great quality for great prices. I don’t trust anyone else when I’m ready to buy or have something repaired.

I went in to get a ridiculous adjustment that needed to be done on a chain bracelet I bought online. This was not a fine jewelry moment. It was something I needed for halloween. So I walked in with some trepidation with beads of sweat on my hairline from having to ask them to make the change on my item. They did not hesitate, they made the alteration quickly while I waited, they didnt make a face, bat an eye or laugh -- I would have done all those things if I were them. And they charged me a very reasonable fee (it was really a lot lower than I expected).They were super nice to me and I got to look at their product offerings extensively during my 15 minutes there. Its all beautiful. I would like to go back to pick a ring from here. I also loved the watches but I was trying to ignore them so I wouldnt want to buy one.Its so good to have these well established family business in the neighborhood. I couldnt recommend a nicer / friendlier / and knowledgeable jeweler in Upper Kirby.

My fiancé custom designed my wedding band for me. I had originally taken it to another jeweler who never completed the order even though thy had it for 8 months. I took it to reins and they made a wax mold for me and it was perfect the first time. They did a rush job so I would have a wedding band for my big day and it took them less than 2 weeks from start to finish. They were super friendly, informative, and thorough. They even gave me a lower price than the other jewelry store! This place was fantastic and I will definitely be back!

First of all, this is not a large or even medium sized chain. Its a small little shop that makes up for their modest selection with outstanding customer service. I went in expecting to spend a certain amount and left having spent more than double that, which I wasnt too thrilled about, but was very pleased with my selection. The help I received picking out the ring was above and beyond, seeing how I was a first time buyer. It took less than a week for them to put together the engagement ring I had purchased and called me immediately when it was ready to be picked up. The ring was amazing and they included sizing (at a later date). My fiance loves the ring and we even had to get it resized a second time (temperamental hands) but they kindly did so, no questions asked. Overall Id recommend Reiners to anyone especially if youre looking for great customer service. The only downside of this store would be 1. Fairly limited selection 2. Security guard/officer sizing you up the second you walk through the door (albeit that is his job).

We even met two other happy couples in his store and exchanged fun wedding planning stories.Steven is honest and direct about pricing and styles. He takes such pride in providing excellent customer service! The first thing we did after our wedding ceremony was take a picture of our rings on our hands to send to Uncle Steven!

I wanted to surprise my girlfriend and take her engagement ring shopping so she could pick out whatever she wanted. I took her to couple jewelry stores and we ended up having not-so-great experiences with a lot of sketchy and pushy salespeople, to where it just completely ruined the experience for both of us. I love Reiners. I bought my fiancees engagement ring here, and have come back for gifts and our wedding bands.Each time Ive visited Steven has greeted me by name and makes me feel welcome.I had a problem with my wedding band (due to no fault of Reiners) and they took care of everything and made sure I was satisfied.They know how to work in a budget you give them and they dont try to push you into anything.I send all my friends here for any jewelry purchase, but especially engagement rings.

I brought my wedding band to them to have the baguette diamonds set in another ring and my baguettes disappeared except for 2 and one was cracked. There were 8 beautiful baguettes and no one knows what happened o them. I couldnt post without choosing a star so make that minus 10+ stars.
