This was by far the BEST and most helpful technical service we have received since getting the Blazing Hog internet service. This associate was so helpful and was actually able to get our WHOLE internet system running in only about 25 minutes. We have been trying to get it to run correctly for weeks! Thank you so much and we are truly grateful.
When your options for internet are between satellite and cellular, blazing hog is the better option and at a better price than satellite. Simple to I stall with very responsive and helpful customer service.
This service worked well for us for a long time, around a year in fact. We had some minor issues but generally calling customer service and them refreshing the modem solved the problems, however recently I encountered an issue that could not just be solved with a simple reset, and I couldnt even get customer service to talk to me, they would tell me that they would send a refresh over and then would no longer respond. I even emailed the guy who is always in here responding to comments roughly a week and a half ago and he didnt respond to me either.
Saw the ad, sounded to good to be true, it was. The ad stated Nation Wide service. I live in central Texas hour out of Austin. I was told that AT&T and T-Mobile dont serve where I live. I have Verizon here but that apparently doesnt work for them. They need to correct their ad and be more specific about service.
I can reach the sales department, the billing department, but rarely can I contact or speak with a technician. The internet is slow when it does work - not blazing at all. I am currently using a hotspot from my husbands work phone. This service doesnt work well at all, but its my only choice right now.My husband has cancer and my Momma has cancer, I need to be able to rely on the internet to keep up with their medical information.Edited 10/4: Yes, the service is back up but sadly it is still extremely slow. I have done several speed test and the highest number today was 8.47 Mbps.
I had this service because we travel in our RV for work. I bought a new laptop and it was so slow I couldn’t get it to download. I switched to the parks WiFi and slow but faster. Customer service has become horrible the last 6 months. DO NOT USE THIS company. I think they are going under. Things have changed!
Absolutely the WORST customer service. Literally an issue every other week and no one seems to know what they’re doing. The only thing the company is efficient in is taking the bill payment at the exact same time every single month regardless of the issues throughout the month.
Completely satisfied, I’ve had the service for a couple months now and I really enjoy it. At first I had a problem because of my building being metal but since I do 95% of my work on the road I’m basically mobile Internet now and this works out perfectly. If your structure is solid metal it may not work out in your favor but if you at least have windows and I do not, you should be good. I take it with me when I travel to hotels and while I’m traveling across the state (I do a lot of driving) and as long as you have the ability to get cell phone service you should have the ability to get good Internet. I am able to stream YouTube videos, I do game a little when I have the time and I don’t worry about lag issues and I have been able to stream Netflix, but for the most of what I do it’s just basic stuff and training videos, educational videos while I drive. And my service is for the Northwest Arkansas area, no issues.
I have been so lucky when running into issues to have the support of one of their amazing technicians, Tracy! She has helped me several times and even called me when i was confused. I highly recommend Blazing Hog and be sure to ask for Tracy!
It took over four hours to resolve our no internet connection today with my elderly self (82)so patiently led through it by tech help John. We had lost the connection, maybe from storm effects over weekend, living a mile in the woods with heavy, wet tree canopy. but he just kept trying and we finally got the job done. Not at all techie and not growing up with this, I needed all the help I could get and he did it!! So grateful!
I was referred to BH by a co-worker because I was with Viasat satellite internet service that provided me zero when they said I’d have fast speeds. Well, that was false. Blazing Hog was clear and concise in what they said they could deliver with regards to speed and reliability. My system arrived timely and was easily installed up and running in minutes. So fast, it’s like having my house connected to an Ethernet cable straight to a server. No lag time or spinning icons telling me it’s thinking. Blazing Hog has given us WiFi where no other company has been able to, in a very rural area. With a little research we were able to position our modem in a place where we get a very good signal, fast enough to stream on multiple devices and play online games in real time. If a problem ever arises, we just send an email and they respond very quickly via text, which I find is much more helpful than being put on hold and waiting to speak to someone. We have been customers for little under 2 years, have had a couple minor issues that were resolved that same day. I highly recommend Blazing Hog for rural customers who have limited options. Another plus is if you are traveling you can take your modem with you and use Blazing Hog WiFi at different location. Our power was out for 2 days and we took our modem to a local hotel and used it like normal. Thank you Blazing Hog for bringing us solid WiFi all this time, we are very happy to have discovered you, and never once regretted have yall as our service provider.
Absolutely worse experience possible. When I had OTR, one of their competitors, they at least responded. These people just think its okay to absolutely ignore you/block your number and take your money. Completely disgusting and unacceptable. Putrid company, honestly. The worst service I have ever seen from a company..dont have a voice or face..if you want to talk to them is only texting..a customer service should be personalized..that you can feel your talking to someone..that understands the problem that is being without internet all day..my kids study online and they have been more than 2 weeks without taking their classes...and by texting messages we havent been able to resolved nothing..if your thinking of coming new to this company think it over..

I live in the in the country so have few isp options. After a recent search came across blazing hog. So far very happy with the service. Not sure how to find what my data usage has been and now that I have the capability would like to start streaming a lot more. how do I find out
I lost service last Thursday. I tried calling...cant get a live person on the phone to save my life. I received a text message with instructions that didnt work. I texted back asking to please call me...nobody called. Instead I got texts every 30 minutes with next steps that never worked. My internet is STILL down...and I am PAYING for this service. I received a FedEx envelope with the SAME instructions as well as a SIM card...no clue what to do with it b/c instructions werent included. Do I need to replace the SIM card? If so, how do I do that? The video on the website is a different modem than the one I have so it wouldnt help even if I did have to switch SIM cards. I need to talk to a person live...a real tech support system. I paid a TON to have this service installed as well as a lot more than other services per month...I expect good service.
Buyer beware!!!!!!!I have no idea who runs Blazing Hog, but they have the worst customer service. You can’t “speak” to anyone, and what’s worse, is they have a robot responding via text to your voicemail! I suppose the robot (some type of software program) recognizes/ uses key “words” from the voice message you leave them (they ask you to describe the issue), to respond to you. The responses are nuts! Not even close to the issue! This is the worst company to deal with! The product is satisfactory, but they seem to have a lot of issues with owners of cell towers they rent, therefore often change carriers, renew contracts, switch IP addresses etc, which in turn require us customers to be down for hours or days until they get their act together. I only received 1 day notice via “text” that I needed needed to “change the IP address” and “name” on the back end—something a technician should be doing. Their instructions are inadequate! The instructions dIdn’t say a word about a SIM card! Now it’s asking me to upgrade it!!! To top it off, they now have a message that states (paraphrasing) if you are too stupid to follow the directions we sent to you, ask your “child” or “neighbor” to help you!!! Not kidding!!! They actually say that! It’s on their a recording when you call them. They are so rude and condescending!!It’s 10:07pm and I still don’t have internet!!! You suck lemons Blazing Hog!!!
Cant get ahold of anyone. The internet is ungodly slow even after buying a 600$ booster. Called multiple times to get my money back no one answers and noone calls back.
Been using Blazing Hog internet for over a year. This was the only option we had that we could game with. I bought a cell signal booster and it even increased signal and speed to where we have no issues hardly. The customer service has been as easy as texting them lol.
Dont waste your time with these guys...Tmobile is trying to kick them off and their customer service is terrible....when have you seen a company that will only communicate with you via text message....at least when you call AT&T someone answers the phone....it might be in India but they answer.
I canceled my service with Blazing Hog effective 3/29/2021. I mailed my equipment back and it was received on 3/31/2021 - well within my 14 day money back policy. I have made multiple attempts to reach out to this company regarding the status of my refund. I was told I would receive a refund between 5-7 business days after the equipment was received when I canceled. The customer service I have received with this company is horrible. I have left voicemails, emails and texts. There has been no response. This business personally feels like a scam. Warning to others to think twice before giving this company your money.
The name is Tammy Barker, Not Kelly. My internet has been down two days. I work from home and have lost two days. They simply don’t respond and have ignored my last two messages. Absolutely unacceptable. Told me this yesterday afternoon: tmobile reported modernization at the tower in your area, your modem will turn green when they complete there updates, no time frame given. Weird because my neighbor has the same internet and no issues. I am beyond frustrated. I have bragged and told people how wonderful the internet is. How you respond and treat your customers is wrong. EDIT 1/30/21 Adjusting from 1 to 3 stars as I have experienced a HUGE improvement from Blazing Hog. My signal has been very consistent and customer service has gotten way way better. Keep up the work to improve!BH was a fantastic find, up until a few months ago. Internet is in/out but mostly out. Theyve refreshed many times, had me move it up, down and everywhere but up a tree....nothing. My T-Mobile phone gets GREAT speeds sitting two feet from there modem (no matter where I place both of them around the house), I reboot hundreds of times. Text messages telling me to buy an antenna or move it two feet are stall tactics at best as it never improves. Too bad, they had a great thing going but I have lost all trust. Oh, anyone else get a no warning/surprise price increase?? $130 now, out of the blue starting Oct. 1st....check your account and you will see they jacked prices 30% without ASKING before they drained your account. Recently received our Blazing Hog internet device and had some problems with it connecting to the towers. Tech support was great. Fixed our issues quickly and professionally. Shout out to Tom for all his help. So thankful to finally have fast internet out in the boondocks.
I just cancelled after 3 months of service. The best I was getting was a 1mb download and just over 1mb upload. You could not get in touch with them. Your account has a tab to report issues, but it doesnt work and didnt work for the entire 3 months. It wont let you send email. If you call them, all you get is a voice message and hope you get called back. The sad thing is that I could do a speed test from my same location over my phone and got 100 mb down and 30 mb up.Apparently, Blazing hog only wants to read part of my message. I was UNABLE to report messages using your support link in my account. I tried MANY times and it did not work. A customer should not need to make a phone call and leave a message on a voice message to get a response. That is what your NON functional support tab is for.As to why I stayed for 3 months. It was until I found a better solution.I have found a better solution. Get ATT data only service for tablets and hot spots. It is $55 for 100GB and you actually get good performance. This was hands down the worst experience Ive ever had as a new customer. Ordered 4/8, received 4/10. Plugged it in on 4/11, followed all directions, didnt work. Called tech support, but no ones there. Someone randomly texted an hour later. They never called. Only texted every two or three hours to give us the next step. We were in the midst of a weekday with a system we were told was plug and play. We were in the best spot possible in the home. Nothing. No internet. No support. No customer service. I canceled on 4/12. Oh, and this morning I messaged the joke of a tech support person I was talking to the day prior, just to see if my luck had changed and they had all of a sudden implemented some sort of normal operational policies. No response until I had canceled. Then they responded with this little gem, It looks like your account has been canceled. Stay away from this cluster muck.
Needed SIM card replaced. Brooke walked me thru and found SIM card needed to be updated. Was sent a new router with updated card by fed ex. Contacted Brooke and was walked thru connecting all devices. Tech service was awesome. Thanks. Brooke. We r in a rural setting and have had satellite internet service. BH is much faster and has better coverage through out house. Until fiber optics, BH is best service available in our area
I have had blazing hog for several months now, and love it. I have had a few small issues in the beginning, but that is kind of to be expected. I live rural and have better speeds than I ever received with other providers that are line based. I have sent emails and get responses back fairly quickly. Love this product, wish they offered an upgraded modem. They do recommend a specific set of antennas to improve signal if you are receiving a low signal.
I purchased Blazing Hog service for my rural location. The internet speed was accurate and reliable. My wife and I are having great trouble figuring out where we make out payment for the service, as we have not been sent any information for login, or even where to go. Then today my wife gets an email stating that the Tmobile sim cards are going to be deactivated or recalled because of a business deal with Tmobile. I get this happens.However, I tried to reach customer service to get answers and hopeful solutions, and it is just a message machine, I then received a text with basically no useful information. I felt the customer service aspect is complete garbage. Nothing I have seen so far makes me think you care about your customer. I hope the owner or a manager sees this response, and makes some drastic changes.Very unprofessional.
I am a teacher working from home. I also have three children who are virtual learns.As of Wednesday of last week my service completely went out. It wasnt until yesterday I revived a text message. they explain what happen and service would be restored. Still no service I have texted back several times no one will reply back. This is very poor customer service. As a customer I would like to actual speak to someone instead of getting no help via text. I will continue to complain if my services is not restored today. At first we were happy with our service. Once we were past the two week trial period. The service rapidly went down hill. The customer service is non existent. I am not a Blazing Hog fan. Their guarantee was 25 - but I couldnt get any higher than maybe 8 and we had to reboot the modem every other day, it seemed. It took me forever to get through their phone tree - and then, I was stuck leaving a message - wondering if I would ever get a call. They dont offer live support. I only received text messages - which, in my opinion, is a terrible way to communicate with a service issue. I moved to Tekwav and have the amazing privilege of it ringing twice and someone answering immediately. THAT is the way you handle customer service. People still want personal touch - and that is NOT something Blazing Hog does.....only text. Theres too much uncertainty.

In good conscience I could not recommend this company to anyone! I would not offer a one star rating if I could give a zero star. The service is poor at best, the customer service is non-existent. They rarely respond to customer issues and never in a timely manner. Beware!!

Attempting to reach someone regarding discontinuing services, I am a new customer since mid March. I emailed the only email address I had on 3/31/2020, to date, I have not heard back from them. Today 4/11/2020; I called four different 800 numbers, one is continuously busy, I left messages on the other three. I would like to know how to go about returning equipment (services were NEVER used due to poor reception) and obtaining my refund. Furthermore, I do not know not how to log into my account to look at charges or anything else for that matter. This is due to the fact that I do not have a web address to do so, as the one that was provided (a link given when I paid) has since expired. At the time, I was able to access this link and create a password, but now cannot access on-line services. Anyone have any advice?
Absolutely love Blazing hog. The only 2 major providers in the area for Internet are AT&T and spectrum both of which are unable to be connected at my rural home. When we 1st moved in we tried fixed wireless through AT&T and after working for a week the headaches began. I scoured researched till I found Blazing Hog. Neighbors had recommended Hughes net but did say that many times their Internet would not work. When my husband called Blazing hog.. the representative was able to look up our address and told us about the money back guarantee but that we should have good service with blazing hog. Blazing hog did not disappoint. My son has been able to play any game he wants and we have watched television with no issues. (We only stream) The service has been so good that we have Purchased a second blazing hog to use for our home based business that runs cloud based programs. This morning when we woke up the both systems were out. We reached out to blazing hog and left a message and we received a text message back that they would work on their end. After a couple of hours they asked us to turn off the machines and try leaving them more for a 1/2 an hour because they were able to re configure on their end. During this time I also found out there were many cell issues in the area due to a tower down in Raleigh. Once turning back on the machine it still did not work however Blazing hog sent us a text message to try a different approach after they reset on their end. Before we could even try what they suggested, both our system were back up and running. While I understand receiving a text message seems a bit unconventional I would much rather that than the hours I used to spend on the line with AT&T not to mention the days I would have to wait for resolution for a Tech to come out. We have now recommended blazing hog to all our neighbors who are looking for a faster Internet speed and a more reliable service.
Recently signed up for this service and have been happy with the results so far when it comes to the overall signal. On the other hand, I have not been able to sign in to my online account since I started. I have called probably 20 times, sent 15 emails and have received absolutely no response from them at all. Being in a rural area we dont have many choices. Customer service could be what sends us to one of the larger cell carriers for service in the future if they cant figure out how to respond to paying customers more rapidly.

I have been trying to help a friend get her money back from this place. She paid over 400$ to get service BC they said it would work great. THEN After getting the run around from them about needing to spend more money on adapters, antennas, which would be around 200 more, she said no and asked for a refund and not get service. It has been a month and no one from blazing hog will respond to calls, messages, emails, etc. $400 is a lot of money. After watching her go through this, with this company, I know I will not use them or recommend. They are basically stealing her money. I told her to seek legal action.***update*** my friend actually ended up having to claim FRAUD through her bank to get her money back... Luckily she had ALL the emails from Blazing Hog showing she had TRIED to cancel out and get a refund. Blazing Hog should be looked into. No one should have to spend MONTHS getting a refund when service CANNOT be provided and initial talk with a rep who flat out LIED to her, just to get a new customer quota number. Pathetic.
This company is awful! When speaking to someone about getting service, they assured me that I had excellent signal where I live because we were so close to a tower. The customer service rep told me that if I was not completely satisfied within the first 30 days, then I could cancel and receive a full refund. I cancelled within that time period because I could not get signal, even after purchasing their recommended products to help amplify signal. After $570 I still have not received a refund. And after I sent an email notification to cancel, they still charged the $99 for the following month. This company is fraud and is stealing money from people. I will be seeking action if my money is not returned soon.
Negative to no star review would be most appropriate for Blazing Hog! Had the service start in March. Paid nearly 400 to get it. Had a few issues that were eventually resolved then we get a text message saying that all Verizon modems will no longer be supported and we would have to find another service and that we would no longer be charged as of July 1st. I have now been charged for two months of additional service that has not been provided. This company has an awful response time and horrible customer service. Sad because the product was great (when it worked). I am now submitting a fraud claim and blocking charges through my financial institution. Very frustrating, avoid this company at all costs!!!
Could be a great alternative but after investing hundreds of dollars we have been able to stream for a few hours maybe five days this entire month. I bought a better router (out more money) and it helped in June but this month has just been a waste. They don’t offer any better modums or if they do I have yet to get a response to inquiries sent in May. The first two weeks were acceptable but we keep paying $100 a month for silence and no service. Run an internet rate speed and download barely registers a 1. Totally slow. This is on Alan Pearce account so one less excuse of not knowing the account so can’t help.
Initial call to Blazing Hog was friendly, informative, accurate, and easy. Equipment was sent quickly. there was not sufficient cell signal in my area to make the service usable for me. Upon calling to cancel, a return address was given to me, and a full refund check was expedited back to me.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER. IVE BEEN A CUSTOMER ONLY 3 WEEKS AND IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET HELP FOR 7 DAYS!!! Third-party answering services take a message and tell you that a technician will call back within 24 hours. I have had zero help. I went from only 1.5-2.5 download speeds and now no connection at all. T-mobile Tower is 8-10 miles away. AT&T tower is 4-5 miles away. Was promised an AT&T SIM card by Tracy, she even left a direct phone line to reach her and even she is not answering her phone. SIM was supposed to arrive 9/2, it is now 9/9. I want to return my equipment and cannot even get help to do that. ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!! Negative five stars!!! One is too much for this company.
I live in a rural area and I needed fast internet, especially now with schools going partly in person and partly virtual. Blazing Hog has provided me with an option that I am truly grateful for. I can stream multiple devices at a time including movies and riding a Peloton. I have to give a huge shout out to Bruce at Blazing Hog. He has been incredibly patient and helpful. Please contact me. I have been without internet for 3 days now. No customer service. When contacting technical support they ask for you to leave a message. Then you get a text. However when texting you get no response from the representative. 3 days. I am so frustrated that for 3 days I have called. Received texts but still have the issue.
If you live in a rural area where internet service is limited, I would recommend Blazing Hog over satellite. There are a few reasons that I would recommend Blazing Hog over satellite. One, the ease of setup. I am a plug and play kinda person. No techie here. Two, I struggled 5 agonizing days trying to work from home before I received my modem from Blazing Hog. If any of you remember the days of dial up and how slow it was, then I know you can empathize. Blazing Hog thank you for providing a service to us rural customers that the big guys seemed to have overlooked.
Awful awful awful experience. We called to make sure we had coverage in our area. The representative said yes we did and that we would even have enough strength for gaming, approximately 25mb/s. After the 400 dollar set up fees, we got our equipment 5 days later. Set everything up and nothing worked. Called customer service and the representative said it would not work in our area, we were too far out. We said we wanted full refund and wanted to know why we were lied to in the first place. No answer from the employee, now they wont answer any of our calls. This is a fraudulent provider. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES. WE ARE OUT 400 DOLLARS FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY

Call customer service and it is nothing more than you leaving your name, number, and the city where you live. I have called daily and no one has returned my call. ZERO communication. I have now been without internet service on and off for 5 days over the past 2 weeks. I just got this service within the past month. Unfortunately, not looking good so far. Only positive is that I could take the modem anywhere and plug it in and have service. Not being able to communicate with anyone regarding why the modem is not working is very aggravating.
I wish I could give a good review but unfortunately my story with blazing hog is a sad one. My husband, 3 kids and I chose to downsize into an RV and we are big internet streamers and all of our entertainment is via internet. So after we listened to the customer representative for blazing hog we were certain that this company was for us.However after we had paid the upfront 400 dollars and than received the equipment things went downhill from there. First, when we initially set it up it would not work, we then called tech support and no one was available each time that we called. Within four to five hours later we received a text message (this was very disheartening as I would have preferred to have talked to someone in person as I believe we could have had better help that way)from tech support but they were not very helpful and all they could tell us was that it was slow due to heavy traffic. Therefore, due to the problem with their equipment and poor customer care, from tech support we chose to cancel our service and return the equipment within five days of having the equipment. From then on it just got worse. We never received our refund and when my husband tried to find someone to help with this problem we got the run around and no help! We than received an email that responded that they needed a tracking number, but since it was three weeks later and due to the fact my husband sent the number when we first sent it back we stupidly did not keep the receipt. It was then a couple weeks later that I got charged another 106 dollars, which makes no sense since they stole 400 dollars from me and now I am going to have to discard my card. My husband and I tried everything to work with them but in the end with no real help on the other side we feel we got screwed over. I Pray that they take better care of you all then they did us.God speed

If I could give negative or zero stars I would. Seriously the worst customer service. Not exaggerating, I have contacted them over 15 times to get my refund from them after they continued to charge me months after I cancelled my service and sent the equipment back in. Originally they owed me for two separate incorrect charges and finally I had to file a dispute with my bank to receive some of the money they owed me. Its been since January that I have been trying to get a hold of someone that will contact me back or take the time to respond more than once before I never hear from someone again. I tried every way of contacting them from calling and emailing numerous times, but I still have not heard back. Terrible service! These people dont know how to run a business and I dont see how theyll be able to stay in business much longer.
SCAM!!!!STARTED SERVICE ON 3/14, DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT WAS NEEDED TO USE SERVICE UNTIL 3/18. TRIED TO CALL TO CANCEL AFTER TRYING SERVICE FOR LESS THAN A MONTH, NO ONE ANSWERS. TRIED TO CANCEL BY TEXT, SINCE NO ONE ANSWERS PHONE CALLS, ON 4/09, THEN BY EMAIL ON 4/12, HOW DOES ONE CANCEL IF NO ONE ANSWERS, KEEP THE PROOF???? PAID THE 200 FOR THE PART THAT IS NEEDED TO USE SERVICE PLUS 99.99 FOR FIRST MONTH SERVICE. NOT WANTING THAT TO BE REFUNDED AFTER LESS THAN ONE MONTH OF SERVICE, JUST THE 99.99 THAT IS OWED TO ME FOR 2ND MONTH CHARGED. . THAT WAS CHARGED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. NO ONE RETURNS CALLS!!!! CANCELED 2 MONTHS AGO AND STILL BILLING ME!!!!!
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!This was a bad experience from the beginning but we were desperate for better internet service! They first made us “accept” Identity Theft service, which we immediately cancelled, weird thing to order one thing and get wrangled into something else, unless you cancelled it?? Then we waited patiently for our internet boxes to arrive! It took a week, but we set up the boxes without too much hassle but immediately were disappointed! No better service, not even a little better, nothing! And the service speeds went from bad to worse as we tested the upload speed multiple times, fingers crossed hoping it would get better! It did not! :(Then we decided that $100 for basically nothing wasn’t worth it! So we’ve been trying all afternoon to call Customer Service and there is “no one to answer your call!”, and we’ve e-mailed our cancellation but don’t have much confidence we’ll get a call or e-mail back telling us how to return the stuff and get our $414.96 back! We’re calling our credit card company next!
No customer service. Called multiple times. No answer. No call back from leaving voicemail. Sounds like the service works great for some. It didn’t for us. Tried the video recommended to get better service. Didn’t work. Voicemail says they can’t answer the phone due to the COVID crisis. I get it but the device didn’t work well enough for me to work from home or my child to do the required online school work. Really wish they could have answered the phone or returned a call from a message left on their voicemail. Mailed the device back. Expecting contact and a full refund to the credit card used for purchase. Will update review as to whether or not this happens.Update: Got a text in reply to my voicemail this time. Was given return instructions. Returned no problem. Refunded quickly.
I have been calling and leaving messages but haven’t had any luck. My name is Hermelinda and I’m trying to return the equipment because we have no signal at all. It is so frustrating to know you paid $420 and for this to happen where no one will help. If you call to get the service they are quick to respond but for customer service nothing. I want my money back!
Ordered over two weeks ago. Was told I would get router in 3-5 days. Gave it a solid week and it didnt show. Calling non-existent customer service is a joke. When you choose option 2 for order status, it just beeps like youre supposed to leave a message. Left a message for tech support and got a text message back later that day. Really, a text message? Person said order wasnt completed for some reason. Said she would complete it and I should get modem by following Monday. Well, credit card charge showed up but modem hasnt. Not happy.
Has its moments of being great, prepare yourself to not have internet every few months though. Ive been out for 4 or 5 days now and last they talked to me they said Id be back 3 days ago. Havent heard anything back in 4 days
I have been with out service now for a month. I have tried to get in contact with someone that know what they are doing. How hard is it to mail a package? I have updated my mailing address and they keep sending my SIM card to the wrong address. I really enjoy the service when they have SIM card that does keep getting the plug pulled on it. The customer service is very poor. I have been more then patient on waiting on my new SIM card. I do recommend them but be careful if you have to contact someone in person.
Now they are raising the monthly bill from 99 to 129. im at 1.2 Mbps right now, and am lucky if i can get 4 or 5. Insane for 129 a month. Robbery.
Do not bother contacting these people. Very rude on phone when asking for service. Wants to sell you $400 of equipment when I already have all the equipment that I need. Claims T Mobile does not throttle service but they do because I already have tried that service. Customer service lady hung up when I told her that T mobile service does throttle. Claims to be based in NY but has a Houston address. Will not sell just a sim card for existing equipment.
Blazing hog had me change out my SIM card. Their website said that I would get an email within 24 hours confirming that my SIM card has been activated. It has been well over 24 hours, and no email. When you call them you dont get a return call. If they charge my card for this non-service Im going to report them to the better business bureau because Ive left messages to cancel my service.
I know Blazing Hog has been getting negative reviews but I found them to helpful in resolving an issue with a defective modem. Once the problem was identified a modem was rushed to my home via two day FedEx delivery.It’s a relatively new company and the Covid issue has not helped anyone’s service... but they did work with me and resolved the issue as fast as I think anyone would or could.The speeds are great for my rural location and I recommend anyone living with spotty internet in a rural area to give them a try. I recommended Blazing Hog to two of my neighbors and they too are ecstatic about the reliability and speed of the connection.A special thanks to Bruce.. you made it all happen!
Excellent people to deal with. Sometimes it’s difficult to get in contact with them, but they are great people and provide good service.
When it works it’s awesome!! When is stops don’t expect any type of customer service to let you know when it might be working again. Had less than two years and this is the third outage of over a week each time. The customer call number is a recording that rudely asks that you only call once and never a return call. Also billing is a one day grace before disconnecting. If it’s due on the 16th the will call and threaten to disconnect on the 17th. Funny how that’s the only way to talk to a real person.
Horrible!!! We tried several options to get a good signal which cost us more money for boosters and an antenna and still could not get reliable service. I had the rep notate on my account that if I tried this rather than cancel and it didnt work that I could still return the equipment and get my $300 deposit back. We have called and called and each time we are told there is no direct line to talk to someone regarding our deposit and that someone will call us back. Nobody ever calls and I cant get my $300!! I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau.
I spent a good month researching internet providers for our rural area. By accident I came across Blazing Hog and I am so happy that I did.We are out in a rural area outside of Richmond/Rosenberg area in Texas. Our cell service was already limited, so we had already purchased a cell signal booster. I reached out to Bruce via email and was instantly greeted with a call back within 10 minutes of sending the email. I was able to speak with him about the service in our area and we agreed that this was still the best option for us. I am so glad we gave this a shot! It works AMAZINGLY in our area and give us true internet access! I would recommend truly doing your research in your area and speaking with Bruce before you just jump into this before knowing about how it works. I will give them 5 stars every day if I could!
I was very satisfied with Blazing Hog, however that is no longer the case. I have been without service since 04/22/20 and I have left numerous messages and have also emailed without a response. I work from home and cannot. My brother is having to stay with my disabled mother while I stay at my daughters house so that I can work. Total inconvenience to EVERYONE. I just want someone to call me and get the damn thing fixed so that I can go back home.
We had no service for most of April while my daughters tried to do finals at home. Have tried to get in touch with customer service several times about adjusting the bill as the message we got said they would do so. Paid my last bill this week and now no service. I couldnt log in. Says my account is deleted. No one answers the phone. Just a message about not putting in multiple tickets. Sigh. Cant do work with no internet.
Been trying for a week and a half to get service after I moved. I already have equipment. Ive tried calling, leaving voicemails, e-mails and text messages. I cant get anybody to help me. When I 1st got the equipment they were fine. Now nobody even exists. I dont even want to try anymore. tried to stick with them because I had already purchased the equipment in full but this just isnt worth it. Another rip off . No surprise
TERRIBLE. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.Just got the service a month ago, was charged $400 at sign up which included first months bill and then just charged another $99 for service that has not worked since we bought it. I was told (through text message) that it was the SIM card, and that my trial period would start when I got the new SIM card. And my billing would be suspended as my internet has not been working for weeks.I can’t get ahold of anyone in the company to even help me, the numbers all take you to an answering machine to leave a message. Any and all communication is through text messages! I have called and emailed daily and to no avail, no messages no response back. I just wanted my service that I’ve paid for to work or give me my refund. Stay true to your word!Take it from me, do not sign up for this waste of money they’ll just rip you off like they did to me.
This company is a joke. I called to request new service and the rep is rude saying they not accepting new customer and just hang up.After some research I came across a reddit post about T-Mobile is shutting down a lot of reseller accounts for violating term of service. They are probably one of them that get shutdown on September 14th which is why they are not taking on new customers.*Warning* If you still within the trial period then run as fast as you can and get your refund.
UPDATE: THEY CHARGED ME TWICE, STOLE $100 FROM MY ACCOUNT AND WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS.TERRIBLE service. Youre better off with no internet instead of paying $100 a month for failure to load signs. Nothing will load. No streaming services, webpages, or emails. Not to mention, customer service is non-existent. Ive communicated these problems to one of their representatives, who TEXTED me maybe try just using one device at a time.1. Im not paying $100 dollars a month to just use one of my devices.2. Even when I am only using one device, IT STILL DOESNT WORK.3. A phone call would have been more appropriate and professional.VERY disappointed in this service.
We have been customers of Blazing Hog for about two months. During that time, our service has gone out twice. The first time it went down it took them two weeks to fix it. We had zero internet service for two weeks with no discount on the monthly bill even though it wasn’t working for half the month. Our service went out again last night and we cannot get ahold of the tech department or customer service. It will probably take another two weeks to get this fixed again. They have many agents available to sign up new customers but can not help you if you have a problem. They care very little for the customers they have. DO NOT sign up for this service! You will never be able to get any help and they do not care if their customers go without internet service. Go with a company that can back their product and cares about their customers.
Signed up for service March 18th for service at our ranch. Took 4 business days to get the modem and SIM card. Used it for a week and it worked great. Then, they found some problem with a batch of SIM cards and just cancelled them BEFORE sending us replacements that worked. My husband is trying to work from home and just BAM no service. Replaced SIM card and a week later, same thing happens again. No warning and no service. NEVER was able to speak to ANYONE about the problems. Just get a recording to leave a message. Received text messages about how they were working on it, but never actually got to interact with anyone. Canceled service and waiting on refund
I have been trying to connect with customer support all day as our internet has been out. My wife’s job relies on it and we are unable to get any answers. I got the text message did what it said and still not resolved and now can’t get any response. I’ve emailed with no response. Horrible customer support. We are about to leave the company.
Nothing but rerouted phone calls for customer service. Paid almost $400 for no service. Been without internet for over 2 months now and cant even talk to a human for my refund. Scam company please avoid. Dial-up gives better service than this company.
Ever since I got this service, I’ve had issues with it. Every three to four months there is an outage. When they sent me an email last week about updating the IMEI, I said to myself,” oh lord we are going to be out again. My father has school work, I have school and my brother has school work to do. These are critical times where everyone is relying on the internet and this company can’t provide us with any relief. You can’t talk to anyone about this lousy service, you can’t get anyone to tell you the truth about what’s going on because for months I was getting the same bogus cell tower is down excuse. My father activates and maintain cell towers so if a cell tower is down nearby, we would know. Besides, we have ATT phone service so if the cell tower is down then wouldn’t our phone service be out. Now I’ve been out of service for the past four days. I was told the service would be back on Sunday, then Tuesday, now it’s Wednesday and no service and no response from tech support. The only thing this company is reliable for is taking your money!
Absolutely love this company! The internet is fantastic. And when i had an issue i called them and it was fixed instantly! Would highly recommend!!!
I just called the sales department to sign up for a new account and GOD she was rude. So sad that good customer service is disappearing rapidly. I was jist asking normal questions since I never used this service before. Thank you BUT NO thank you.
The best solution for rural internet hands down. Before you buy you should make sure you get 1-2 bars of service in your house (otherwise it wont work). 10x faster than satellite or fixed wireless with ping on par with AT&T/Spectrum.The only con is the price. But if you truly want to watch Netflix/play games in a rural area, the price is worth it. Also its a small company so it typically takes 24 hours for them to get back to you.
I have had service from Blazing hog for seven months. And as of this last outage, three in total, I have been without service for 43 days total time. Every few months they have an extended outage and blame it on ATT canceling all of their cards. I am sorry i work for another MVNO and the major companies do not do that kind of a blanket disconnect unless the issue is with the MVNO and the agreement provider. such as MVNO not paying their bills. I have attempted to contact the company by email, text and phone. No response from the company and no credit or refund for services not provided. I have since saugt leag action against this company to attempt to get my monies back.
Very disappointed in Blazing Hogs service. We have tried for over a week to find out what was going on with the sim card. We received a text saying they were going to start the cancellation process and I now have a new bill. I havent even had service for two weeks because of a sim card problem. I have left several messages about what we need to do to cancel this service and havent had a response from anyone. We were also told we would be credited and it doesnt look like that is happening either. I only gave it one star because it wouldnt let me post the review without giving it a star.
Paid my bill on tuesday, got an email on thursday asking for imei number of modem they sent me, ni service saturday morning. Friday morning a week later, still no service. No one answers cusr support line, emails or anything. Email sent iut said service would be restoed by tuesday, its now friday. I would take awaythe 1 star but it wont let me.
Nobody answers the phone. Have tried multiple times to contact. To be honest, after reading these bad reviews I’m glad they didn’t answer. I probably prevented a lot of headaches.

I was without service for two weeks but during that time I was able to stay in contact with Bruce at Blazing Hog and he kept me informed every step of the way. My internet speeds have not slowed down I actually have better service now than I did with original SIM card. I got credit towards my next bill for the time my internet was down. Overall I am very happy with the company.
Zero customer service. I returned the equipment after testing it in my area. I received no instructions for the return after attempts to contact them via voicemail, text and email. Three days after confirmation they received the package I got an email saying they we sending me another order. My attempts to reply to their emails just got me an error message that there was no such address. Luckily my bank had cancelled my payment to them so I dont have to fight for a refund.
I have been without internet for a week and cannot get anyone to talk to me on what the problem is or when I will get my internet back on. This is very frustrating!!! My daughter has homework to do and we have to go to my parents house to do homework. I just want to talk to someone and find out what is happening. I am usually please, but when something goes wrong there is not good communication.

This company does not respond quickly at all. I opened a ticket last week about poor internet quality, someone randomly texted me and said they were ordering a new bundle for me and that I would get a shipping confirmation. Never got one. Then internet went out completely, I have texted back, emailed, and called again with no response. This happened also last year to me and I went a whole month without service. I am trying to work from home and do not have internet.
Im a happy customer. Theyve helped me with issues in my remote area and walked me through fixes that Netgear tech couldnt solve with hours on the phone. They are very committed to making things work.
