This is a review that’s way past due! A little over a year ago I worked with Tiffany Mobley to find a job here in Houston. Aside from being super welcoming and sweet, she did an outstanding job of listening to everything I was looking for in a position, and took her time to feel out my personality/get to know me. These attributes went such a long way when it came to her placing me in a position. It was very clear she did an excellent job knowing her clients work environment and what type of employees they’re needing. To say the absolute least, she helped me find a position that was a perfect fit, somewhere I am (still) beyond happy to work at, and this has opened doors to opportunities for infinite success. There is not another person I would trust more to help me find the perfect career!! Thank you so much Tiffany Mobley and the Addison Group!

The Houston office is great. My recruiter set me up on 2 fantastic temp jobs in a blink of an eye. My recruiter, C.W., not only is knowledgeable about the assignments and companies, she makes sure you are gainfully employed with a great support team. Sorry to many employers, but if I had C.W. back when I was 18, I would be almost 20 years in with same company. Thank you, Addison Group!

Would give 0 stars if I could. My “representative” Tiffany was EXTREMELY unprofessional. I told her during my interview I only wanted to work temp-to-hire or direct hire positions in Northwest Houston. It took her TWO weeks to get back to me, with a contract job located in Downtown. I told her I was not interested in contact jobs by email, and never got a reply. She called me and was very rude, short, and seemed annoyed that I was not excited to hear about the position. I explained to her that being a recent college graduate and new to the area that I was looking for a more permanent position. She mentioned a job located in The Woodlands, about 30-45 minutes from where I live! When I said I would need something closer in my area, she abruptly ended the conversation and hung up saying she would “keep in touch”, and I never heard back. Very unprofessional. Side note: when interviewing with them, I arrived 15 minutes early as instructed. I waited for over 35 minutes to speak with her, and she blatantly lied to my face saying she had trouble printing my resume when I heard her interviewing another candidate in the room next to mine. Before I left I met with a different recruiter who told me to reach out to other staffing agencies outside of Addison Group to “utilize my resources”. Honestly I think she knew her company had nothing competitive or attractive to offer. NEVER going back, and only reason I went to them was because a family friend referred them to me directly.

This is how to get work in Houston. Ive been on one assignment with Addison group and loved it. Addison as a company itself has sent me on several interviews and I got to have my pick of assignments. I selected one that fit the pay, location and environment in which I wanted to work in. I started in less than a week. My recruiter ( Candace) was awesome and very professional. At the end of my assignment she even had more than one assignment waiting. Unfortunately I took another assignment after going very far into starting up another Addison assignment but my recruiter was very understanding and wanted to keep the working relationship intact for future developments. That put Addison group, to me, ahead of many other groups because a dedication to getting the job of getting employment and assignments done.

Not often do you get an opportunity to work with recruiters who have an in depth understanding of the technology world. Addison Group, and my recruiter Candace demonstrated a high level of both knowledge and professionalism. Though we ultimately did not secure a project together, I had an excellent experience with this agency, and look forward to any future interactions we may have.

I experienced a rude recruiter who basically gave me the old “well we don’t have anything at the moment” as she closed her folder, after a brief interview. Which translates into “I’m not going to waste my time trying to place you because you don’t fit conveniently and perfectly into any job description that I can quickly have my database match keywords to so I can plop you into it with very little effort. I have over 10 years of experience.Staffing firms are not going to go out of their way. They are sales people who sell their services to companies. They are not here to serve the public and help you find a job. They’re resume pushers that are just earning a commission on placements when they have a resume fall into their lap that happens to match a job they’ve been assigned to. They’re not rocket scientists.I have met some very nice recruiters in other firms. But not here.WASTE of my time and a trip downtown!

I recently went through Addison Group for a position that I am currently in, a contract to hire position. I am very pleased with how the process went, the friendliness and professionalism of everyone I worked with at Addison. Kristen S was my recruiter. She was fabulous to work with. She was on point with every step of the process and was extremely responsive. I also was able to meet David, who I believe is the Manager of the office. He was very helpful as well. This is the first time I have ever worked with a recruiter and I must say it was a great experience. Kristen S is the best! I would totally work with her again, if I needed to!

Horrible experience. First time going through an agency and will never do so again. The communication is poor between employers and staffing company. The messed up my direct deposit so I literally got paper checks after I was told it was a technical error. First I left work early to get my check had to pay for parking. The next week my representative committed to brining my check by 2:00 to my employment site hours passed when she informed me that I needed to actually meet her at her beauty salon to get my check! Literally came out with wet hair to deliver my check after I went the opposite direction from my home in 5:00 traffic to pick it up. Trust me read the reviews before you commit its best to find a job on your own.

I must say one of the best recruiting firms I have come across so far. The Recruiters, specifically Ms. Courtney White, I would highly recommend if someone is willing to put in effort Ms. White do not hesitate going an extra mile. She is always very helpful and easy going. Moreover, she doesn’t not take anyone for granted, especially if she knows that a person is trying hard to get a job. She would personally reach out to the candidate, whenever an opportunity comes across or she knows someone who can be a good match. This is my very personal experience, even though I have only met her once in person but after meeting with her and speaking with her over the phone and exchanging emails several times, I know I am i am in good hands. I feel motivated and positive. Thank you so much Ms. White I really appreciate all the effort:) We need more recruiters luke you:)

I worked with the Addison Group for a few months in hopes in finding a recruiter position. I would see new recruiter position being posted everyday on LinkedIn and Zip Recruiter. So I would call to inquire about the open positions. When I would speak to Nadia/Tiffany and ask about the new positions posted, they would tell me they didn’t know what I was talking about. They would say there was no open position even though I would see new position being posted daily. Sometimes I would call within 1 hour of the ad being posted. Every time I spoke to both Nadia and Tiffany they were very rude. Both lady’s would try to rush me off the phone. After months working with these two women with zero leads I decided not work with the Addison group. Both lady’s are very rude and LAZY. I have been a recruiter for more than 10+ years and I’ve never worked with recruiter with such bad attitudes. I will never work with the Addison group again. Overall, terrible experience!!! As a recruiter, having quality talent is just as important as having quality Clients. How you treat people MATTERS!!!

So lets just start off saying unorganized. I was offered an assignment, sad part there was no form of communication. No first day welcome letter, who to meet with, the time, what to wear nothing. She calls me at 7:30 in the evening to brief me when it was scheduled for 4 that afternoon. Then I get a text at 5:45 in the morning still nothing, on where to go I had to figure that out myself. Emails werent sent correctly to fill out forms in order to get paid. The assignment wasnt for Underwriting it was Customer Service for open enrollment not my type of gig once I started. After letting my recruiter Amy Brown know the job wasnt a fit for me she tells me to stick it out. Lol, what a joke Ill look elsewhere and you should as well.

I moved to Houston this summer and went to The Addison Group in hopes of landing some interviews. The ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful in person. Unfortunately, after leaving the office I have been unable to get a hold of the recruiter that promised to help me. I left several messages and emailed several times but never heard back. Luckily, I was able to find a job on my own. I give the friendliness of the employees a 5/5 but the professionalism and work ethic a 0/5.

This was my first and last time to use a temp agency, my initial recruiter was very nice, down to earth and understanding. I had issues beyond my control that prevented me from continuing the assignment however, the company I was placed in was a very toxic and chaotic environment. The onsite human resources woman was very cold, unresponsive and hardly interacted to any of the employees there, you could tell the company was used to temps and I was treated as another body instead of a person.I had a close family member pass away suddenly on a weekend and I did my best to make it in given the circumstances again, my initial recruiter was very sweet respectful and understanding, I however spoke to one of the women who are higher up and her voice was so cold, demeaning and lacked compassion, sorry you all but at the end of the day family comes first and especially close family so, I chose to end the assignment although everyone I worked with at the company was nice and I still speak with them now. Be careful do research on where they place you.

Applied for a posted HRBP position on LinkedIn and the recruiter from Addison group called me the sme day to schedule an interview. I took a half day off of work to go downtown to meet with her to discuss the opportunity. She also calls to confirm the appointment the day before our meeting and tells me we are meeting to discuss the HRBP position. I get there and Im dressed more professionally than she was. She asked me all these questions about my experience, then proceeds to tell me the position is no longer available and she doesnt have any direct hire HR positions at this time, but will keep my information on file.I was livid. You mean to tell me you basically invited me there under false pretense knowing you didnt have a career opportunity available in the first place, which tells me you posted a false position advertisement??In addition, you had me to lose productivity and vacation time from my current job for absolutely nothing. A complete and utter waste of time. Please DO NOT WORK with this firm. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNPROFESSIONAL .

Best recruiter agency Ive worked with (worked with Candace).Im new to the Houston area after being laid off in IT at another city and so had no existing network here. Lots recruiters that had reached out to me on LinkedIn before Addison seemed to either not have strong relations with the actual hiring managers or were trying to just hit quotas. Candace contacted me about two different opportunities. The second resulted in an interview in which I received an offer within an hour afterward. It was a tremendous relief to be able to resume my career in a new city.My recruiter gave me feedback on what will help with adjusting my resume and Addison also uses a very professional looking resume template they translate your resume into which I think also helps.I know some reviewers may not like that you have to come in to meet with the recruiter if youre new to the agency, but for me to actually meet the recruiter in person was a refreshing change and made it feel like the opportunity was more legit. They are located at the very heart of downtown so just make sure you give yourself ample time ahead if you come see them. They do reimburse for your garage ticket which was also nice.

Wasted my time. Went on two interviews one was not even qualified for...they were looking for an MA and all the associate was concerned about was what were they asking me. I had to call her almost everyday for an update. She was going to send my resume and in the end I called the following Monday because I hadnt heard anything and finally got a call back from her. She said she was trying to schedule something but at the interview the manager said she just received my resume that morning and hasnt looked over it...Overall I would never use Addison group again,I personally had a bad experience and have found a job searching on my own.

The recruiters who work here are absolutely unprofessional and quite frankly rude. I dealt with both Candance Bracher and Madison Johnson. Both of them would contact me about an opportunity, then completely ghost me. Met with Samantha Nobles, downtown Houston Office, who I met and had a great interview. She liked my experience and personality. Thought I was a good fit for a position which I interviewed for and unfortunately did not get. I was very bumbed out. After the interview, everything changed with Samantha and The Addison Group. She assured me that I would be ok due to the number of job leads they have been receiving and to stay in touch. Week one: nothing in yet and that I am on the top of her candidate list, week two: same response and I am first on her list, week three: same, (mind you that I was told how great a candidate I was with my experience and such). Week four: no response or call back. At this point, I realize that I was just being led astray and not a priority. If your not hired on the first interview then your cast to the side. I thought the Addison Group was different but in the end just another staffing agency over promising and under delivering. I have lost all confidence in the Addison Group and all the other agencies out there. Suprised and disappointed how they gave up on me so quickly and easily.

Received a call during a job hunt awhile back about potential positions. The recruiter named David said that they would have to meet me in person which I understood and requested a lunch meeting between my current office and theirs due to a strict schedule at the time. I am very dissapointed with the lack of professionalism in the representatives I have worked with in the past. They all have a lack of proper communication. When I first registered with Addison Group it was with Sean Cox. We went back and forth a few times and he never communicated again. Then I had Tina Doucet contact me, regarding possible employment, but a repeat of what Sean had done. She communicated a few times and I never heard from her again. Then a third rep contacted me, Katie Armshaw and guess what; she did the same thing. She also contacted me a few times and afterwards never contacted me again. At some point, they all decided not to respond to me ever again after 8 months of passing my profile around within their office Reps. Now Im getting contacted by Amy Kalban; I cant say much about her, because I emailed her to tell her I refuse to work with Addison Group in search of work; any longer. I do not recommend Addison Group.

As other people, if I could give this group zero or minus I would. They dont even bother to read your resume. They tried to place me in a position for which I was overqualified and it has been so far the weirdest and worst interview I ever had. Met with the lady once and they called me that same day to tell me that I had to start the following day with a schedule of 5am to 9pm, 2 hour forced lunch break... LOL When I told them no way I got a lecture of how I HAD to take that job and how I HAD to get there. It obviously didnt happen. 4 years later, I still get emails from them (even when I have unsubscribed like 40 times) about lousy and sketchy positions and asking me to refer them to my friends. DONT waste your time here. Go somewhere else, youll find a better position looking on your own.
