I have worked for Deans professional services for 2 years and 3 months overall my experience has been very good. The reason I gave them 5 Stars is due too a great coordinator Mr Speller, never disappointed me always treated me with respect, and most of all when my sister passed away he sent flowers to her funeral and to me thats a great coordinator because, he cares about the people that works under him he puts us first. He notifies us when hes on vacation he, notifies us immediately when there is a change and I just would like to say hes one of the greatest coordinator they have in the phlebotomy department, and I just like to thank him and Dean professional services for the opportunity to work for them and to be able to make my ends meet. I would like to thank both Ms. Hunter and Ms. LaWanda for their style of teaching the Certified Medical Assistant Class which was an amazing experience!! There was times that the studying was overwhelming and I felt like giving up but Ms. LaWanda went above and beyond in encouraging me and others to push and reach our goals. Ms. LaWanda knew her material that she taught us and taught with so much enthusiasm and accuracy which was easier to understand in a 6 week period. I would like to also thank Ms. Hunter for keeping us all up to speed, extending extra educational videos and handling any distractions during class to help us keep our focus on Medical Assisting. Finally I passed thanks to these two amazing professional medical instructors.

I applied for their Jr. Recruiting Coordinator position on Indeed and was contacted by their HR Manager Gerald Stevens. From the very beginning he had a very skeptical tone in his voice about my credentials and work experience as an HR Recruiter but he went ahead and put me through the next stage with the two executive hiring managers. I did the video interview, answered their questions, asked questions about the role and what they are looking for in a ideal candidate and was told if hired, I would hear back within a week. About a week later I sent Mr. Stevens a thank you letter and if he had heard anything back? He said he hadnt heard anything but will get in touch with me when he did Two weeks later (after I sent him a third email) responded back to me that the executive managers went with another candidate. After a miscommunication with Mr. Stevens I was contacted by both Executive hiring managers reached out to me by phone and apologized on the companys behalf for any miscommunication that was done to me personally in the hiring process. I told them I was frustrated with the hiring process and I apologized to them on my behalf for the original Google review. I understand that the pandemic has been tough on everyone and companies are not excluded from the exception. However, the way I felt about their hiring process it shouldnt have taken three weeks to make a decision on a hire? Especially, when they said they would be hiring pretty quickly. The hiring managers did say they had me in mind for a hospitality role but at this particular point, I will be moving on to another agency or employer! I wish Mr. Stevens, the hiring managers, and Deans Professional Service well in their future endeavors but they need to be more considerate with the applicants time as well. This is the problem a lot of hiring managers dont take into consideration and the hiring process is a two-way street. Just like hiring managers are looking to see if a candidate is the right fit for a company, the candidate is looking to see if the company is a right fit for them! In all, Im VERY disappointed!

They get u working fast my staffing coordinator was Ron McDaniel he was very open honest and transparent. And very responsive.

Was contacted by John Horne for a position at a hospital, he had me completing paperwork through HR & paying for shots due to this particular facility requiring them. Once everything was completed I contacted him several times only to hear him say that he can’t give me any information on the start date, due to him having to meet with facility. Well I never heard back, so I assume he never met with the facility. If I could give zero stars I would. This company is unprofessional, unorganized and a complete waste of time. You get an overload of emails then they just give you the run around about jobs….

I have been employed through DPS since May, 2018. I completed an assignment and had a smooth transition to the next assignment with no gaps in employment. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences and interactions with the staff, they always seem attentive to any of my concerns. Ms. Ross was my staffing agent and she is always professional and very very easy to communicate with. I have even had to contact her after hours and she was also attentive to my needs out of the office. Thanks to Ms. Ross and the entire staff at DPS.

I worked with Deans Professional Services for about 5 months. While employed with Deans, my Staffing Coordinator Jennifer Van Lieu went above and beyond to assist me. She was always available to answer any questions that I may have, including answering her phone on the weekends and after hours. She always upbeat and happy and willing to listen to whatever concern I may have, no matter how big or small. I wouldnt recommend anyone using their services. Ive just moved to TX, and I was recommended to contact them. Ms. Beth, claimed that she returned my call and left me a message when she never did call. Ive called this place 5 times in the past 2 days just to get a follow up call about a position. Ms. Beth said she would call me whether it was a yes or no. She says she called, but Ive literally waited for her call and didnt receive one. Then when I can contacted her today, she says, Im in a meeting right now, can I help you?, as if I was bothering her! Very rude, very unprofessional, and I will never recommend anyone to use their services. She didnt even try to help offer me any additional assistance. Contacting them was a waste of my time.

The customer service is great and the environment is organized and very positive. It is a great company to work and Jennifer went Above and beyond to help me.

I wasted my time and gas to go for an interview that lasted 5 minutes at Deans Professional. I took off work early and drove an hour there and back to meet with them and talk to them about job opportunities. I was given information that could have been told to me over the phone. They already had my resume on file, so they knew what I was capable of. I am very disappointed and that was very unprofessional of them.

I met Maurice back in March. I took an exam, and never heard from him again. Ive been trying to reach him for the last few months and hes never in his office. I still need a job! Ive done my due diligence as far as applying for positions on my own, but wheres the help?

They take to long to get you in to work never before we had to do fingerprints to work in the schools. So now we have to do fingerprints before we can start working. In the schools but my things is how long do it takes for someone to call or even emailing the person at the fingerprinting center so the client can go back to work. Im calling Ms. Young every day and every time I call her she says to me that she havent did it yet Ive been out of work for 3 months now and its only 1 more week in this month. So next month will be 4 months of not working. Im not understanding why its taking so long for me to get fingerprints done. When Mr. O was there he was on top of everything for his clients. I have bills to pay and im ready to go back to work .

Very unorganized & unprofessional! Horrible communications.The employees should be ashamed of themselves for posting fake reviews on here.I was given an emailed assignmnent confirmation & was verbally told go to assignment, but after driving miles in Houston traffic, I was told to wait until the following day.WOW! This is more like Deans UNprofessional Service!! Majority isnt on the same page.STAFF member stated that he emailed me a date change and when I tolhim that I didnt see this on my email he got an attitude! ( He never sent it because I would have seen it) And then I tried to ask him what time did he want me to report to work the following day, because I hadnt received an email confirmation & THATS WHEN HE HUNG UP IN MY FACE.Some of the employees here did not implement great customer service, because they are rude, gossipy & dont keep their word. I wasted gas by driving to a blank trip & Im still waiting on an apology for the disrespectful way I was treated .Never Again!I know my self worth so you u cant treat me like trash!

Horrible customer service. The cooordinators are horrible. The young lady I spoke to while trying to get information about a possible job placement was beyond rude and very unprofessional. She didnt give me any helpful information and got an attitude with me. They need to teach their employees how to talk to people because I almost came up there and told her about herself. Thats how upset I was. I am trying to make a living like they are. Respect is something they need to work on.

The communication is not the standard that it should be. Constant confusion and disarray when attempting to find a position for me and when they do its almost an hour drive every time. Whoever helps coordinate the Methodist group did not handle my situation as far as travel and moving to different sites and locations well. One of the young ladys was rude eventhough she did what she could she was extremely rude and disrespectful as if I was getting on her nerves or as if Im supposed already have answers to question Imasking. It made very uncomfortable and unwilling to work there. The other 2-3 people I spoke to were very kind and but werent that much help. It was a one Hispanic lady and another gentleman.Please fix this. People work very hard to make a living and the job may not be tasking but the the people in charge make things more difficult than they should be.

This is by far the best company I have worked for! I love the culture, the staff are helpful and the company works with the best hospitals in Houston. I recommend this staffing company to anyone in search of a career opportunity.

This company does have it’s good employees/staff, but the bad outweighs the good...sadly. Mrs. Jennifer Dean sits back and allows it, she just focuses on her money coming into the business. Shannon Divers the HR Director, this pathetic excuse of a woman cancelled my assignment all because she likes to talk a lot and not send much through text or email, because what she says directly to you is rude, but she will be nice and professional over email and text. Shannon doesn’t want people to have evidence or proof of her bipolar side. If you don’t follow her rules and on her time, doesn’t matter if you’re at work or fighting traffic and trying not to have an accident, she is not considerate. What she does need to do is learn how to pull up her pants after she stands up, no one wants to see her under garments. Shannon Divers is not for you, she is against you, she needs a man and friends. If it weren’t for Deans Professionals she would only have Facebook as a friend. Her customer service skills are good in front of others, she will tell you to close your mouth and let her speak, then turn around and speak over you. She has controlling issues, she is unethical, vital and venemous. Shannon fired me to hurt me, but little does she know I have people that work for the company and have been for many years, I’ve also been put on with the company, which she can’t control this at all...better yet, just so Shannon is aware...I come from a Vet/Engineer/Supervisor father who is retired and a mother who never had to work, but chose towork, by always being her own boss. They have been married 50 years. Under one roof, I was raised. My father bought my mother a H2 Hummer cash and right off the lot, no payments...my two Lexus’ I paid cash for in full, my Benz as well, so we are not slouches Shannon Divers. I bought my first house at 24 years old, currently buying my second, I’m a small business owner and need I say more. Over all of this, we are God fearing. Shannon will reap what she has sewn and I’m sure that I’m not her first victim. Good luck with this staffing agency, but there are too many professional ones out there where the HR Director will not retaliate or take things personal and fire you! My thing is to make sure that others aren’t treated the same way. If you kiss butt, you just might be safe! I now have a permanent position and without Dean’s screwed up services, God does not like ugly. Echoing what others have had to say, the communication here is seriously lacking and is very disorganized. When someone says they will call you back dont expect them to actually do so! Also dont expect them to know anything about your career, which seems odd considering a staffing agency should be knowledgeable about what career services they are providing. They had no clue what my career entailed (even though they claim to have been staffing my field for 30+ years) and even made a derogatory comment saying if thats all you want to do then your options will be limited. So much for my second bachelors degree! I spent over 5 hours applying, driving here for an interview, and taking a competency test (which they couldnt explain what it was), and calling them back multiple times when they dont return my calls. All the jobs they promised were available seem to have magically disappeared! I couldnt imagine what it would be like to work for this circus after the experience I had just trying to get my foot in the door. Avoid!

These people are horrible when it comes to communication. They have a bad habit of embellishing and fabricating work when it comes to assignments. they lose your information they dont pay parking or any of the other EXTRAS that come along with the position when it pertains to work. I and so many others have had to work in the medical center but they never give you the parking pass so you pay for it and wait forever for them to reimburse you for it. They have you go on assignments and the supervisor may not know you are coming and sometimes they will end your 3 or 6 month month alleged assignment and you will find out the morning you show up to the site, after youve driven 45 to and hour to get to that destination in which they dont reimburse for gas. if I wrote it all Id need a publisher to assist me in writing a book. but but even attempt to work here if professionalism really is your thing.

Worked at Deans Professional Services and was one of the worst experiences I have had with a company. Keep in mind I am ex-military and nothing short of going into battle would be worse. Ms. Bell and Ms. Divers in Human Resources are beyond fake. The owner Jennifer Dean is a psychopath and tries to hide behind biblical quotes. The worse kind. From day one they were unorganized, lied (especially about salary), condescending, play games, show favoritism, back biting, petty and childish. They also move people around constantly and put unrealistic pressure on you to get jobs filled. Never, ever consider working there or for them. Run for your dear life!!!

I worked internally as a staffing specialist and I would never go back!My co-workers were great and it sad that only 3 reviews on here are legit, the rest are current employees.My main issue was the President, she feels like she owns you and can call you anytime and say whatever she wants which is extremely unprofessional. She watches all your work and as soon as you make a note she goes behind and asks about it, she doesnt have any regard for peoples personal life or space.Dont get me started on Mr. Spann, he is extremely unprofessional and has zero management skills, when you go to mgmt. and try to get the problem resolved, they protect him because hes related to the president. Yeah they wont tell you that but its true.Everyone who has worked under him either quits or wants to be transferred to another team. They put you on call every weekend and only pay you for the minutes you record that you spoke on the phone, who does that? Even if you spoke to your manager, you still have to speak to the president.Like the gentleman said in his review, Stay faraway. Management especially the president s daughter Mrs. Wright is shady and they looovvvee to gossip.Its a toxic environment, Stay away!!!!
