I found our entire experience at Bayway to be very pleasant. Armando answered all our questions, was very pleasant to deal with, and never felt any pressure whatsoever. I probably would not have bought a Volvo at Bayway had it not been for Armando. Gina was great to work with during the financing and she was very helpful, as well. When I picked up my car, Taylor pinch hit for Armando, who was off that day. He was awesome in showing me all the details of my new Volvo. We have recently bought two cars back to back. The first one being an atlas and the second being a Volvo c-40. I will not be comparing vehicles in this review, however my car buying experience was completely different atmosphere at Volkswagen compared to this Volvo dealer.Salesman:The salesman, Taylor was knowledgeable, kind, and a very good part of what I thought would be an enjoyable experience.Trade in:The trade in we provided was valued fairly and I believe we received a fair trade in amount.Financing:This is where it started to turn. The sales financier was ok but it seemed like she was just trying to push every deal she could off on us and it started to turn our experience negative.The major turning point:I would not recommend anyone buying a vehicle from this establishment based upon their mandatory dealer upgrade packages. Look I get having dealer fees, this is a business, however, throwing in basically two thousand dollars of mandatory upgrades (which you can purchase on your own for a third of the price) is a complete rip off. Offer it to the customers, but don’t wait until they are in the financing office to tell you they are mandatory and there is no way to take it off as every car has the services installed when they arrive at the dealershipMy opinion is to search elsewhere and if you do decide to go here, Taylor is a good salesman.
I bought a used but pretty new Lexus from them they made the process really fast and easy and worked hard to get me approved after multiple denials. They brought the car to me to view and test drive and dropped it off to me to purchase. When I drove it I realized it had no brakes (literally metal on metal) and took it back and they replaced the brakes same day at no cost, apologized, and washed it.
Taylor and Armando were so awesome! They helped me get my dream car and made the whole process very smooth, easy, and fun! So happy to be part of the Volvo family. Everyone there was just amazing!
My primary reason for my Service appointment was a sensor replacement. Dolton was the service representative. I found him to be cordial and considerate. He answered my questions and put me at ease. He made sure I was comfortable while I waited and made sure I had a loaner while my car was being serviced.

We bought our S60 at Don Beyer Volvo in Northern Virginia. The buying experience coupled with the unparalleled customer service after our purchase all but guaranteed that Volvo had made a lifelong customer of us.Fast forward a couple of years to Bayway Volvo: the service department was so rude and condescending to my wife when she tried to schedule her annual service that she almost scheduled it with another dealership over an hour away. On her second attempt, she spoke with someone much more polite and they were able to work out a time.Upon arriving, she said that the service department was rude… again…. looking at you, front desk. But whatever, people have bad days, companies make poor hiring decisions.Pushing on, my wife is 9 months pregnant and we are in the market for a bigger vehicle for her. We have been eyeballing the XC-90, so while she was there I asked her to have a trade-in appraisal done on her car to see where we were at equity wise. The salesperson gave her the KBB range (from an internet search her phone in the parking lot) and told her )after speaking with the “manager”) that they would only give her a true appraisal if we were looking to buy today.So, I called thinking there was a mistake or breakdown in communication. After all, this is a big purchase and I couldn’t believe that they weren’t willing to foster a near future purchase by appraising our car WHILE IT WAS IN THEIR OWN SHOP. Imagine my surprise when all of the people that could “help me with this” were indefinitely busy assisting others.I understand that the car market is hot right now and dealerships are selling cars as fast as they can get them. You can be repeatedly rude and send out the b-team to demand that a 9months pregnant lady make an on the spot $70,000 commitment to buy a car before you will even look at hers. You will still have a great month. You guys are crushing it, I’m sure. Back slaps all around.And we will have a great month too. And soon, I’ll install a second car seat in my wife’s car. I don’t know what that car will be, but I can say this for sure: it won’t be a Volvo and it darn sure won’t be from Bayway.

Service Advisor, Bel, was FANTASTIC!!! Ive been having problems with the dealership having an incorrect email & phone. She took the time to correct it on the service side. So grateful. Wait for 40K service was about 1 1/2 hours. car was washed. I asked for a quote on a hitch install, Bel indicated she would work on it & email me the info. She did what she promised. Moved to Texas and am happy to say that service/questions that Ive had have been addressed with courtesy and promptness.

Not pleased at all... We have had Lexus vehicles majority of the time . Decided to venture out and purchase Volvo XC90 . We have been spoiled with first class service with all of our Lexus purchases at the dealerships and service depts.. and I honestly have to admit we are so disappointed in the quality and communication they have provided up to this point ... I just pray their service dept is better than the buying process .. Unfortunately first impression is everything .... And they unfortunately failed

I leased an XC90 from them for 36 months, I am coming to the end lease term and was considering to get another One from them, I am saying considering ( not anymore though )because the car itself is nice but I have had a few issues during this 3 years nothing major. Their sales team was great and process was smooth. Actually loved the sales person, very profesional and not pushy at all. The problems start when you have to bring your car for service. They have very limited loaner cars and they don’t even offer you an Uber ride. In one occasion I brought my car for an OIL change and it took 3 days to get it back! At that time I had a loaner so it wasn’t such a big deal but still... 3 days for an oil change???I brought the car for the 30000 mile service a two weeks ago, they return it to me with a tire light on, I had to stop at a discount tire to reset the light and I am now back because temperatures are getting higher and just realized my air conditioning is not working. Which to me it means they didn’t check it then because it was cold. They don’t have any loaners until two weeks out and temperatures are in the 70s. So I had to bring it without the chance of loaner. Their service adviser Belle is so rude, I have been dealing with her for pretty much all my services and she is just rude and not helpful. She is pretty much my reasoning of not leasing another car with them. Her customer service skills are bad. One time I recalled speaking to her on the phone and being annoyed because my car was taking a long time to be ready and she hang up with me, called back and she was miraculously was gone for the day.It is amazing how important is having not just a good sales adviser BUT also a GOOD service adviser, ultimately you have to deal with them for the duration of lease or ownership of the car and when they are just rude and careless it ruins the whole experience, at least for me it did.
Had to visit Bayway due to unexpected pothole that left my new ride with two bubbled tires and a bent rim. From the time I called to see if I could get the car in, until the time I turned in the loaner they provided while mine was being fixed - the service was nothing short of absolutely excellent.

After all, my Xc60 radiator was leaking mig time, took it to Volvo west in katy the next day after my engine was overheating, I had to pay again for diagnostic. Now the car is still in shop changing radiator, thermostat.... I was told at your place that it didnt have any leaks!

Well my experience was bad the car 🚗 that I bout a 2014 ford edge with had some ascraches on the side and the back bumper was damaged the suv had some cosmetic issues and the dealership did not want to fix anything not even tray to get help me get the code for the door keypad .I traded in my 05 mercury grand marquis wish is and good shape about 90 out of 100The dealership only gave me a$1250 for it when I showed them that over dealership where giving me $2500 plus 175 tax allowance .I and I already had an approval with a financial institution. The dealership told me my credit wasnt good and that they where trying to make the deal works and they plaid with the numbers for the bank to give me the loan, wish I thought I was weird the number look confusing and I did not make head or tail of it .I thinks I got ripped off on my trade in and and I tried to get some led light of my trade in and they the next day and the dealership told me no I dont recomend any one to buy there it was a bad experience to bad for volvo to have a dealership like that to represent the volvo brand with the bad service I fot
I recently purchased a 2020 XC40 from here and I just want to say I am over the moon about it. I had been back and forth test driving all the small compact SUVs. BMW, MERCEDES, CADILLAC, AUDI, LEXUS, LINCOLN, MAZDA, New BLAZER, JEEP. andOf course Volvo. I test drove them Twice (2 different times). My husband wanted me to be sure that I was going to love my car as much as he enjoyed his. Here is one of my reasons for buying at Bayway. Mr. Mohammed is new to the team. He didnt know much about the vehicle I was looking at but Taylor, the seasoned young salesman did. And when I went back the second time with more interest in the XC40, I was greeted by the seasoned salesman. It would have been easy for him to take me as his new customer. I had let him know that Mr. Mohammed was the one that helped me the first round. He actually gave me back to Me. Mohammed and helped him make the sale. He didnt try to steal the sale from him and to me that spoke volumes. He wasnt cut throat about it. The general manager, Billy. So nice! They helped me get as many discounts possible on my vehicle! Which made it possible for me to take it home. Then there is Ms. Younghi Thomas. She sells the protection package for the vehicle. Keys, protection coat, leather protection...she is one of those people who is so warm and genuine that you become instant friends and want to ask her and family to join you for Thanksgiving! Seriously!! Financing person understands that no one likes to be in a dealership all night long. It was quick...BUT if you plan on buying an extended warranty...be sure to get the options available...i.e. $100.00 deductible vs. the $250.00 deductible package. He signed me up for the $250.00 deductible package and it wasnt until I got home that night to look at it that I realized there were other packages. I called him next day but he said it was too late to change it. Lesson learned on my part. Thank God I can afford the $250.00. all in all I am very happy I purchased my vehicle at Bayway. Im not trying to bash the financing part...I just want to let others know there are other options when it comes to the extended warranty, for those like me that didnt know.

Honestly I just brought my 2016 S60 in for servicing. As I was waiting and looking around the showroom Muhammad Kamal was the only one who approached me and asked me if I liked what I saw in the new cars. I did so he proceeded to tell me more and show me cars according to my questions and what I said I liked as well as didnt want. He listened well and was very patient. Knew the inventory available. I was very pleased to see the larger roomy back seat and the ride was amazing, powerful and solid.End of the story- hours later I drove home a S90 2019 new car. I only came in for servicing! Thank you Muhammad Kamal for being the salesman who took a chance and it worked.Actually everyone at Bayway was amazing. My 2nd car from them and Im very pleased.

I just bought a new vehicle from Bayway - and was super pleased with the honesty and helpfulness from Brian Bender - just the type of salesperson one hopes to work with. Before this vehicle- I drove a Volvo S60 for 18 years- and cannot say enough good things about Bayway’s service department. This seems to be a place with really good management- my kudos to the owners of this dealership.

They took an hour and a half to change a battery on my car for a scheduled appointment. And they damaged the left back corner of the car and didn’t say anything to me about it and brought the car to me still covered in water from their car wash hoping I would not see the damage they did.
Trying to get a car serviced here isnt worth the wait. I purchased my Volvo from them a few years back. The wait time to get a car in keeps getting longer and longer. They offer loaner cars but having to wait 3 weeks to be able to get a loaner is unacceptable. I called another dealership and they were able to get me in before the end of the week. When it comes time to replace my Volvos I will definitely purchase them from a dealership that also will service their cars after they sell them to you.
Anytime I have needed service assistance . Bel Pappas is always there and treats all customers with white glove service. From a loaner car to keeping me updated on my vehicle. Bayway volvo service team will get the job done right the first time around. I will not take my car to anyone else. Their knowledge and service is top notch.
We purchased a used Volvo from Bayway in April 2019. The car was run through a 36-pt inspection by Bayway and were told that no faults were found present. 5 minutes after purchase, driving the car off the lot, the low battery light began to flash. We had it tested and it had to be replaced. Bayway paid for this repair. After several weeks we finally obtained a copy of their inspection, and saw on the report that the battery failed their tests, however they declined the replacement. A week later the car stalled out at a light and had to be towed to a mechanic. Again, due to a battery failure. We had to replace the positive battery cable. After diagnostics and repairs, we were out another $646. Bayway wrote to me saying they would be comfortable splitting this cost with you. 6 weeks and 4 emails from me later, and we have received nothing. Be careful with this company and have your bases covered should a similar situation happen to you.UPDATE 6/25/19:Bayway responded and cut a check for half the amount of the repairs as they agreed to earlier.
Helpful service people, having the yearly service check is made so easy for me. My car was also washed while it was there and they did the vehicle check so I can get my registration for 2021.
I bought a xc90 over a year ago and love it. The whole team at Bayway has been exceptional. From sales to service! When your car is in for service they call you almost daily with updates. Their professionalism and customer service is above average and always with a smile!
I had the most superb experience at this location, thanks to Armando S. He ensured all my questions were not only answered but understood. She goes above and beyond expectations. My S60 has had a few issues and she has been there for me and made sure it was taken care of. Also, the technicians are smart and knowledgeable and dont pretend they dont hear or see the issue. Hard to find those kind of folks in this world! Thanks guys!!

The staff at Bayway Volvo Lincoln from sales to finance were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and my husband and I get what we wanted all in one visit. We test drove a beautiful 2013 Chevy Suburban around 6 pm and ended up driving it home later than night around 9 pm. We got the financing terms we wanted at an affordable price. Id rate them at five stars, but we are still waiting on the We Owe You terms to be met.
I would give this place a 0 Star if I could. Don’t buy your car from here OR the Bayway Lincoln dealership next to it. They say “your 100% satisfaction” is top priority but I know for a fact it’s NOT! From the GM, finance guy, internet salesman to the sales manager they all will lie to get you in a car.I test drove two T6 XC90 Volvo and was told the T5 on the floor was the same except the engine. Not true! The T5 had leatherette NOT real leather like we were told. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and the radio volume was the worse. You can’t hear anything from the back seat.I could go on and on about how horrible this dealership is. When I complained the first time 3 days after the sell, Bayway told me there was nothing they could do to help me. LIE!! The paperwork wasn’t even at the bankone I financed through. The deal could have been stopped and we could have bought The T6 we wanted. I complained for 5 days, even to the GM of Bayway and he even refused to help me and said those things I said didn’t happened. Because he talked to his guys. Really!?Go to DeMontrond Volvo. THEY helped me get out of that horrible T5 and into the car we actually wanted.

Not only did he work quickly to find the exactly vehicle for us but he worked to get us pricing that is unheard of in the aftermath of Harvey which was greatly appreciated. I had brought my car in for 40K service and 20 point inspection in mid February. 2 months later, brought my car back to check on my brakes since it was making a scraping sound. Was told that my rear brakes was so worn, they messed up my rotors. I was also told to change the brakes and rotors asap because it was unsafe for me to continue driving it. Had to pay not only for replacement of my rear brakes but the rotors also. They gave me $200 discount on the total of the costs but the damaged was already done. Nobody had told me after my 40K service and inspection that my brakes was getting worn out and will need replacement soon. Otherwise I’d would have scheduled a service appointment to replace them. I was basically driving to and from work and around town on the weekends with my 2 daughters in a vehicle that was deemed unsafe to drive after I had time to bring it to Volvo to get it diagnosed. Someone dropped the ball during my inspection and put my family’s life at risks. Not happy!!!
I was looking for a particular car and Bayway Volvo in Houston, TX had it on their lot. I live in Memphis, TN so I sent an email and salesman James Jackson was OUTSTANDING!!! Since I was so far away, James put together a video inside and outside of the vehicle. Long story short, I secured the vehicle via phone and an electronic authorization form. I to a trip to Houston and drove back with my dream car! The process took less than an hour once I made it to the dealership! Thank you sooooooooooo much James Jackson and the Bayway team!

I never felt pressured to purchase any Volvo products even though it was near closing time and end of month. Santiago went above and beyond to help me with my new lease and I cannot be more thrilled with the process and my new XC90.

I have had several of my cars serviced by Bayway and their predecessors since 1993 and have always been completely satisfied. On no occasion was I ever surprised by a service bill that came back higher than the original estimate. The work was always done right the first time. Their service shops and customer areas are always clean and indicative of conscientious staff. A very big plus, worthy of its own rating, is that there are no attempts to oversell or add to the service requested. And, another plus, the service was always completed by the estimated time or, at worst, a half hour or so later.
This place is awesome, the staff is real caring, patient, and kind they are the best service in the world for the best car in the world, lol. Cody really saved the day. Thanks Cody.

There is great communication about the status of repairs and complete transparency with their pricing. I would never take my Volvo anywhere else.
We had such a positive and pleasant car purchasing experience with Bruce Hall!! From the moment we inquired about leasing a Volvo, Bruce guided us through a no-nonsense process - he didnt play the games one would expect from a typical car salesperson - and he made the process so smooth and easy! I wasnt able to make it to the dealership in person and he sent the paperwork electronically for me to fill out and then sent the rest with my husband that needed to be signed physically. We had a small issue come up with our trade-in and Bruce was able to work his magic within his network and get it all cleared up for us. It was such a pleasure working with Bruce and we cant recommend him highly enough...excellent customer experience!!
After reading all the comments, I am definitely making the 4 hr drive tomorrow to put my car of the hands of real professionals. I am driving from Louisiana with my family and I hope my car gets what it deserves, a top of the line service and repairs needed since for the last 3 years, I have had nothing but horrible experiences with Volvo in Lafayette, LA.
Very friendly, great customer service! I had an issue with my Volvo on call but I didnt buy my Volvo at Bayway. Juan Carlos took the time to help me despite not having made commission from the sale. I bought my Volvo at Momentum and couldnt get my salesman Travis to return communications. Definitely feel more comfortable and welcome at Bayway. Thank you Bayway! Steve in service is awesome...I will stick with Bayway Volvo!

Needed passenger side rear-view mirror replaced. Once I got the car in the shop, repair was completed very quickly.

Please do not waste your time by going to Bayway Volvo to get your car serviced. Over three days, I was constantly told someone would get back with me shortly, but no further communication. I never received a single call back with an update on the status of my car or a timeline for repairs. With no other options, I ended up having my car towed from Bayway Volvo to an independent mechanic who repaired it the next day. The lack of respect and rude disregard for customers was unbelievable. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and I hope no one else has to go through it.
