The Willowbrook store. Victor was the technician and did a great job. He was so patient with me teaching me how to use my new equipment. He was very concerned that I was happy with the product. Tammi, the sales rep was also very informative and helpful ensuring that I got the correct products for my vehicle at an affordable price. Very professional team. Will definitely got back for all my vehicle after market needs.

We had some speakers installed on my wifes 2005 Miata. The sound is excellent and the installer was very knowledgeable in explaining what was done. Glen at the counter was super helpful and made our decisions very easy. Well definitely be back.

I dropped off my car at 9am to get the driver window re tinted due to some cospetic damage done during original installation. I thought this was a first come first serve business so I dropped off my car as soon as they opened at headed to work. When I called around 3 for an update they mentioned my car would he done at around 6:30pm. This is completely unexceptionable. I understand redoing a job doesnt bring in new revenue but I shouldnt have to pay for their negligence to begin with. I will never be coming back to this location for any other work. The GM has terrible customer skills.

I purchased a speaker from an authorized dealer online and it stopped working. I went to the website and was directed to take it to a local authorized dealer, so I looked up a close one to me that happened to be Car Toys. I really expected a big hassle but to my SHOCK, I was greeted with a smiling face (Tammie) that told me she would take care of it (even though I didn’t purchase it there). Well I’m really not prepared for the customer service I received, but she called me several times to update me on the progress. When I got the call my new speaker was awaiting pickup approximately 2 weeks later I was ASTONISHED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CAR TOYS ON HWY 249 in Houston

Car Toys did a great job in arranging for a new entertainment/navigation system for our pickup. All the additional features work as well. They listened to our needs, made solid recommendations, did the installation in a timely fashion. We opted to have them detail the truck (a 2016 Platinum F-150) and they removed old water spots and other soiling that does not come off in a car wash. The truck looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. It is next level detailing.

I went in knowing nothing about installing my subwoofer and luckily Will, who was an amazing help, took the time to come outside and look at my car and tell me exactly what I needed and how to do it. Great place with very helpful workers and quality parts that I would highly recommend.

The order took 2 weeks to get in after being told it would be 2 days. The installation took 5.5 hours even with an appointment. Employee had bad attitude and would answer questions. Installation with not completed mic hanging from the roof and missing A/C knob from dash. No box for radio along the manuals. Employee would not show how to use radio. Found out after getting home the radio did not have the features that the employee said it had. Wrote a complaint to corporate office, they said they would refer to the store and as of now 18 hours later have not received a return call.At check out there were hidden cost that was not explain due to employees attitude towards customer and was not give a final receipt.I know the responds on this post will thank me for my option but that still does not settle the complaint.

The radio in my crown vic was not working so i came in to have a new radio installed along with a backup camera. I love the setup i chose put in however the reason i wont give 5 stars is when i called to get a price on the radio and camera installed i was told one price and when i came in to get the work done it had increased by a little over $200 before they even started. And when it was done i got home and the bottom of the backseat was not latched back down. However i am very happy with the setup and would use them again.

Pardon me for gushing but I’m gonna. My most recent experience was nothing less than stellar. These guys aren’t just nice, they’re truly kind. They know when you’re having a really bad day and actually care about it. Rob and the rest of the team really stepped up and went out of their way to make me feel like an actual person, and not just a walking dollar sign. I am beyond grateful. I took my car in to get looked at after having issues with the alarm randomly going off and being given the run-around at several places. I was helped by David, who was very honest and helpful about what was happening with my vehicle. He stated he had run into this issue with other vehicles and didn’t want to waste my time or money trying to fix it unsuccessfully. He even did a scan for me and explained very clearly what was wrong and what my other options were for fixing it. I greatly respect and appreciate his time, honesty, and professionalism. I would recommend taking your business here.

I will never take my car to this store again. I took my car to get a new radio installed and I ended with a major problem because water is coming inside the car through the back and trunk gets wet. This was caused due to poor and unprofessional installation.I went back to the store and of course staff cover each other up and did not recognize my car was broken. I am starting a claim against the store and the company and I have also hired a lawyer to get compensated for repairs.I wont recommend this company to anyone and I will set up a bad review with the Better Business Bureau.

Absolutely loved my experience! I worked with Tammy on the front end. She was professional and made sure the transaction went smoothly. Phil was my installer and he did an awesome job on my vehicle as well. I had a keyless entry/remote start along with two kicker comp r subs and kicker amp added to my 2020 Toyota Corolla. Needed my firmware updated because i couldn’t seem to make it work. Even Car Toys had trouble but they hung in and got it done.

Well they cracked my console and broke my cup holder cover. They offered me a $50 discount that was already being given on another service, that does not make up for the damage.

I had a stereo installed here in 2015. My stereo stopped working recently so I took it to my mechanic. Upon further inspection he found the mess of cut wires and butt connectors everywhere. Its going to cost $250 to have these wires soldered. This is not worth the free installation car toys provides.

I was here to get interior detailing for my car. Saw a deal in Groupon and called them to make sure it would be accepted. They were like don’t buy the deal and we will have a better deal for you when you come over.I followed the women’s advice. I was charged more than what the Groupon quoted and when asked about the same they started giving reasons. The work was poor even though they had my car for 10 hours. My glove box, cup holders everything looked the same like how it was before. Most of the stains on my seats were still the same. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Read this if your getting speakers here -I came in with a 2012 Mazda 6 wanting new door speakers. The salesman walks us around telling me the car speakers are 6x5 and having us check out those speakers. Then we get a quote on nice alpine speakers, that were around $500, and the installation and fees added up to be like $600. The reasoning is because factory speakers are odd shaped and they have to take out the OEM bracket holders and whatever else and make new ones and install them all over again. I didnt believe them, left, and took off my own door panel and learned my speakers are actually 6x8. If youre going in there, be knowledgeable about your own car because they wanted a boat load of money for a relatively easy job. I, for example, took off 2 door panels in about 10 minutes and could see how to simply unplug the old ones and plug in the new ones.I was here before to install a key fob on my car and it was a complete disaster. Had them redo the installation 3 times and it still didnt work correctly so I refunded everything and now a clip on the driver side dash board is broken.Very frustrating place and definitely will not be returning after this last literal scam.

I have a 6k dollar all JL Audio system in my truck and it seams like they don’t know what they’re doing with the Twk88 (Which they have told me they’re good at it) I have a friend that payed less than half of what I paid and his setup sounds way better.I also ordered a stereo with them, after a week I called them and the manager said they haven’t called me because they haven’t gotten it (in a rude way) but 10min after they called me that the stereo was discontinued and they couldn’t order it.

This place is a joke for motorcycles. Stopped in to get a new setup for my Harley and the guy comes out and was like well your head unit is stock which its not.... they then tried to proceed to sell me a setup thats not even marine rated as I took pictures of what they were selling me so I could look it up before coming back for the work. Needless to say I skipped my appointment. Might work for folks that are scared to ride in the rain but not me.

This is a great place to upgrade your car audio. I had them install a new head unit and speakers in a Honda Civic a few years ago, and they did an outstanding job.This last time we just visited them for a quote, but decided it wasnt worth it to upgrade the old truck we brought in.

Everyone was nice and very knowledgeable. I told them exactly what I wanted. They had to order it but it came in days before it was suppose to. They then called me, set my appointment up, and installed my remote start!

Got a Double Din, Amplifier, 4 speakers, and a rearview camera Liscense plate for my 2000 Tacoma from my Dad on Christmas. Truck bumps.now even without a sub in the back. Some things in life you never know you need until you have it!!!!!

This was one nice place. The service was great. My son had a speaker in his car replaced. The employee helped him decide on a quality product and took out the old one. Everything was done so professionally and the employees showed they care about satisfying the customer. We will return in the future!

I purchased a subwoofer from Car Toys and had multiple issues with it got it. I got it replaced due to the great warranty system they have however i was still having issues with the speaker. Fortunately after calling 3 different locations i ended up at this one and they where able to fix me up and with a little upgrade! I have never gotten better customer service at any other establishment in my life and i will definitely be coming back for my future car speaker needs! 11/10 would recommend.

UPDATE: This was an issue with communication and not the actual installation. Car Toys installed a BlackVue dr900x front and rearview dash cam system in my new car. They did an excellent job of installing it and it looks factory/OEM as far as quality goes. I would have liked a little better hand-off or explanation on how things were installed and set up, but a few calls to the right people cleared that up and the system is working perfectly now. Updating my review to reflect this.Original review: Product wasnt installed properly and does not work as intended. Have to bring it back in now to have it fixed.

WOW! So happy I went there. After Best Buy installed my radio, the back speakers and bass didnt work, at all. Jared took the time to check it out, explain what needed to be done...and then did it. Turns out the wiring was a MESS but he knew exactly what to do. Would 100% percent recommend. And ask for Jared but honestly everyone there was beyond friendly and professional.

I want to shout out a special thanks to Tammy and Pedro for taking care of me with honesty and integrity!!!! I bought sound/navigation/hands free systems for both of my vehicles. The one in my SUV began to have problems that we could not resolve no matter what was tried. They stepped up and made it right.

Stopped by here on lunch to look at a few audio items that a co-worker was interested in purchasing. To start off with i have never been in a Car Toys but knew what they where and to say the least i was fairly impressed in the selection of audio items they had in their show room and hooked up to be able to listen to before purchasing. The staff was great and answered all the questions we had and let us listen to everything we wanted to while there. There prices seem on par with most audio shops and i recommend stopping in if your looking to upgrade your cars audio or electronic needs.

Norman and Tammy are amazing! Great personality and helpful. Norman didnt try to make me purchase anything I decided I didnt want but gave good recommendations. Tammy was bubbly and fun to talk to. They made the shopping experience fun and had me excited for my install! The technicians work was 100% as I expected the outcome to be. Thrilled and will be back!

Im not just a keyboard warrior Ill tell you to your face. I have been working with Jared on a custom project. Who ever answered the phone today told me to go fly a kite. Did not even try to answer my questions. Told me to call around .I was calling around I called you!! Dont waste your time or money here. $1500 just walked out your door on a simple build. Do I have your attention now??

Train the guys on your snap financing so it doesn’t take 2 hours to get that completed. Extremely inefficient and unprofessional

Their customer service is okay I wasnt greeted as I walked in and kind of wondered around for ten to twelve minutes looking at their products before deciding to walk to the front desk to look for some help. The upsell abilities are prominent and the installation service is over priced, I dont think they know about every install. A Mr. Glenn and one of the installers mentioned that my entire back deck of my Honda had to be pulled out to replace the factory 6x9s. They quoted me a four hour work time and advised that I leave my vehicle and come back for it after the work was done. I accessed the factory speakers in the back deck by pulling the the front grate off and unbolting a single screw. I replaced the factory radio with an after market double din radio by Sony, my factory tweeters and the door speakers in the front within two hours. With the money I saved I was able to purchase a sub and two amps to improve my sound quality. Thanks Car Toys, for giving me that drive to save money on my aftermarket products, and save time on my install.

Had one of those unfortunate events where a rock hits your windshield heading back home. Luckily on the way I was about to track down this location and spoke with Timothy Stokes at the location. The employee was well knowledgeable on the event and cars in general.Once Mr. Stokes was done. The overall, after the job was finished. I was satisfied with the work done and surely will be back.

I highly highly recommend Car Toys, especially this location! My husband & I got some work done last year. He got a new head unit & back up camera installed & I got a sound system installed. Tim was extremely helpful & definitely took care of us. He did an excellent job with my husband’s F150 and my GTI at the time. I decided to get a new car and wanted my sound system installed again & my husband wanted some additional things done to his truck as well. I am in love with my trailhawk!! Once again, Tim did an amazing job. Sound system is perfect! The tint on the two front windows look good and his team also did an amazing job detailing my Jeep!! I love my Jeep even more now because it looks pretty sick. I know we will be coming back to Car Toys in the future! I would ask for Tim if you ever need work done to your car. He makes sure that he takes care of his customers and gives his honest opinion!

First time we shopped at this store we were charged for a warranty that the employee never asked for our information. On the receipt the description was a miscellaneous charge for $20.00. Then on our return to hopefully receive better service it took over 30 minutes of back and fourth with the manager to receive our refund. The worst part was the manager was too busy eating lunch to actually come out and help the employee, while other customers just left. The service here is terrible, they lie about prices and then feel you as the customer shouldnt care that misc charges are being added to your purchase.

I bought a new truck that didnt come with keyless entry, so I started looking at deals and shopping around at prices. Once I understood the price ranges of the components I needed, I found that Car Toys was decently priced as everyone else.The thing that sets them apart from everyone else is the staff. The are knowledge and eager to help you get what you are looking for. If you ever have problems with your installation, they will always do right and try to find a solution.Ill be back again!
