My experience with TPR was pretty much perfect! They bid the project and came in right on budget. They remodeled my bathroom and redid the flooring in my house. We have had a lot of work done on their home over the past several years and they have had some less than pleasant experiences with contractors. As my brother was nearing the end of his life he decided to remodel the bathroom as a last gift for my brother in-law. We interviewed multiple contractors and Zach made such an impression on us that we really had no doubt that he was the right person. I cannot even begin to express how grateful we all are that we found Zach. He not only met expectations but far exceeded them. Neev understood my brothers situation and showed extreme consideration and compassion, which is absolutely amazing. He understood the urgency and made the entire process as smooth as possible. Zach is not only an amazing contractor but a wonderful person. I cannot even begin to describe how beautiful the bathroom turned out or how wonderful Neev was to work with.

SCAMMERS. Do not trust this company. I called for an estimate to fix broken pipes after the storm. Upon arrival the men initially found 2 broken pipes. I asked for a price and said I would let them know about moving forward. Zach told me that I had to pay them to complete the job since they took the time to come out. This was surprising as most companies will provide an estimate and allow you to make the decision as to whether you will move forward. After I reluctantly agreed to have the two pipes fixed. 45 minutes later Zach called and told me they found 3 more leaking pipes. I already felt off about the situation and told them that they can just fix the two. Thank God I trusted my gut because the next company that came out found no additional leaks. “They tried to take advantage of you,” the workers told me. That’s an additional $1,125 they would have fraudulently charged me. I immediately called and spoke with Eli who is the owner. Rather than sympathizing or even apologizing she immediately defended her employees saying “we would never do that.” After insisting and providing evidence of from the invoice their company sent she continued to defend them. I asked for pictures of the 3 additional leaks and was told I would receive them. Not only have I not received the pictures but my calls have been ignored by Eli. How can you own a business that takes advantage of customers after such a devastating winter storm? Unprofessional and fraudulent. Do not trust Zach. Take your money elsewhere.

Tell Projects did an amazing job on my sunroom renovation! It started with an estimate that was extremely detailed and covered everything. They even picked up the tile for me from the supplier. Tell Projects turned a dark, dreary damp and leaking sunroom into a BEAUTIFUL part of my home. Everyone that sees this transformation has been impressed and asked for the companies phone number. For me to be this pleased with my 1st major remodel in my home, its a blessing. I would recommend Tell Projects to anyone needed a renovation, small projects, or major repairs to your home. I found Tell Projects on Yelp when looking for someone to redo my kitchen backsplash. Ellie was very nice on the phone and easy to work with from a scheduling standpoint. The team was prompt, quick and communicative during the bid process. Once I decided to start, they were easy to work with. Came in, got the job done in one day and cleaned up afterwards. The two person team was very nice and made sure I was aligned with everything along the way!

Zach was the project manager and he was completely unprofessional. I would never hire this company based off my experience with him. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for an interior home remodel, and still dont have one. Apparently, they dont write itemized estimates which is fine, but I informed him that I would need an itemized estimate otherwise my insurance company would send it back. Next, thing I know hes taking the pen and paper out of my hand along with his brochure. Never, have I ever experienced such tacky and disgustingly rude behavior. Save your money and call another contractor who cares.

My wife and I decided to remodel both bathrooms in our house. They needed a fresh look and a complete update. Having seen the quality of work done by Tell Projects, I knew that I wanted them to do the work. I had Zach come by my house with his truck (the mobile showroom) and show my wife the many samples of flooring, tile, cabinets, and hardware. She was so impressed with Zach and the quality of his products that she agreed with me that Tell Projects was the company we wanted to do the work for us.Tell Projects gave us a 10-14 day estimate to finish the work. The workers were courteous and respectful of both our home and the three cats we have in the house. Like any remodeling project there were a couple of things that we added to the project. Both times Zach came by to inspect the issue and let us know how much the additional work would cost. They finished both rooms in 16 days due to the additional work we requested.The whole process was a very positive experience. None of the nightmare stories that you hear about remodeling. Both Zach and Ellie kept in constant contact with my wife and I. They answered our questions and made suggestions for every decision that had to be made from the tile, to the flooring, to the number of shower heads we needed. I had Tell Projects come to my house for a free estimate and I met with Zach. He was great and I had no complaints. I signed off with them back in March and they finished my house in May. I did a kitchen and 2 bathrooms with adding onto my home of a master suite. Zach always sent me photos of the work and progress throughout the entire project. The office was available all of the time to discuss any materials or questions I had regarding the project. All of the crews were amazing and I could not have asked for a better company! I definitely love Tell Projects and their work and I would recommend them to everyone!

This is not a review on the quality of work that Tell Projects does. This review only deals with their pricing. I wanted an outdoor fireplace made. Had a couple of masonry people do a bid on what I wanted. Tell Projects came in waaaaaaaay overpriced. I already had cost of materials known. It was in the $2K - $3K range for materials. The total estimate from Tell Projects was approximately $18K for a 7-day job. Their price was approximately $10K more than a reasonable estimate from another masonry whose work I have seen before. So, should you use them? GET other bids from other contractors to compare. I definitely did not choose them for my project.......... from my experience they are just overpriced in comparison to other contractors.

We used Tell Projects to redo some built ins and a bathroom and then had to do some structural and electrical work that arose as a result. They were thorough, communicative, trustworthy, and very friendly throughout the entire process. We had a baby due around the end of the project and they pushed to get our home ready so that we could safely bring the baby back home. Beginning in the design phase, they ask a lot of questions, and want to talk a lot about what youre looking for so they can get it right. And we can safely say that they did an outstanding job. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I decided to do a large addition to the back of our home and ultimately gut the rest of the house to the studs and remodel the entire place completely. We worked with zach and could not have been more pleased with the entire process. These guy ended up feeling more like family than our contractors by the end of our project. I originally cleaned one of the homes of the crew members ducts and in the end had them come to my home to give me a bid to do some remodeling. They remodeled my kitchen and it looks great! There were lots of different crews that came to do different specialties which I loved it was not one man does everything! My kitchen looks great! Shaker cabinets, beautiful countertop and finishes. New to Texas. Need to remodel a kitchen in a house we just purchased. Had to start from scratch with contractors.This was our situation when we moved to Texas last year and needed to remodel our kitchen. Our scope of work included a complete kitchen “gut”, removal of a divider wall & a brick accent wall, installation of new cabinets, new appliances, match existing of existing hardwood floors, install new crown molding and painting.We tried to interview several contractors and walk through the work with them. We called 6 and only 3 called back. Each of those 3 contractors showed up, but Zach with Tell was by far the most professional, knowledgeable and well prepared. We walked through what we wanted, and Zach was attentive to what we wanted and helpful in adding suggestions that would save money but still add value to our project. After the walkthrough we went for a “tour” of their mobile showroom so that we could see first-hand the quality of their work. Very impressive.Once we decided to work with Tell their office staff went to work helping us design our new kitchen. Adrianna was a huge help! Again, the staff at Tell proved themselves to be professional, knowledgeable and helpful. After the design was finalized the crew went to work.We could go into great detail about the crew at Tell and all of the work they did on our home, but I will simply say that ALL of the team that work on our home was professional and considerate with our family (we lived in the house during the remodel). Three things standout that highlight our experience with Tell.On the first day the team from Tell showed up on time and ready to work! After we walked through the job together the team did one of the greatest things I had ever seen. They took a copy of our agreement that outlined the work to be completed and taped it to the wall, so everyone was on the same page. Awesome!Clean! The team from Tell is CLEAN! Everyday before they left our house, they cleaned up their work area. They never missed a day of cleaning. It was impressive. Again, we lived in the house during the remodel and the Tell team was very considerate of us and made sure to leave their work areas clean to minimize the disruption to out house.Lastly, the Tell Team communicates. Zach was our PM and he always made sure to communicate with us so that we knew what was going on, when a new process was going to start (demo, electrical, cabinets, paint, etc.) in advance so that we knew what to expect. Also, when a change in scope came up Zach was upfront about the reasons for the change and what the cost would be before they started to work. The high level of communication from all the Tell Team made our remodeling experience a very “worry free” journey.We highly recommend Tell Projects. Our experience was fantastic, and we look forward to working with them on future projects. I own a home built in the 70s that came with a two-step down sunken living room and one-step up stage in part of the master bedroom. I brought Tell Projects in to get me on one level. Zach was assigned to our project and I really enjoyed working with him. I wanted to make sure we took enough time to cure the concrete poured in the rooms before putting in the wood floor and he didnt push to try and get things done before I was ready to move forward. The team did a lot of really nice work and always did a good job of cleaning up before heading out for the day. The wood floor install was amazing, as was the finish trim work. I also appreciated the offer to send someone back a few weeks after we were done if I found a few things, which I did, and they were all handled timely with great quality. I would definitely bring them back if I needed anything else done.

I was told from this other contractor that he was going to get all the permits for my home. He also told me it would take 3 months to put my home back. I researched Tell Projects and was highly satisfied with what I saw. Their office is very welcoming and know what they are talking about. I decided to give it a shot and let them come out and give me an estimate. I received my estimate the following morning and decided to close. It showed me not only were they responsible but also responsive unlike most contractors out there. Once we got started they pulled all the permits immediately and finished my home in 3 weeks! Price gouging for plumbing services during Feb 2021 winter storm

We needed several repairs for our home. We also requested a few minor improvements as well as an assembly project. The individuals at Tell Projects were all extremely professional and did an amazing job. I was very impressed with the speed in which they completed the repairs. I also appreciated their punctuality. My townhouse looks so much better now and it was done at a reasonable cost! I highly recommend Zach and his team.

Everything was done fast and exactly the quote I was given before they started. It took only 2 weeks to give us a new kitchen! This is with us slowing them down trying to pick out the countertops, backsplash, tile, etc. We love our new kitchen!

We wanted to get a set of french doors put in and had a project manager come to our house on Feb 1st for a quote. The next week, I emailed them and said they would have something by the end of the week hopefully, since they were very busy. I did not receive anything, so I emailed the following week and called and they said they would call back. They never did. Very unprofessional - if they did not want to do the job and felt is was to small or couldnt do it, I can accept that but at least give me the common courtesy to let me know. Our house flooded and was waiting on this quote before we could start other work on house.

We had Tell Projects do numerous remodeling jobs at our home. They included new granite in the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and the laundry room. They removed 2 bath tubs and made the space into beautiful new tiled showers with frameless glass. They also installed 4 new sinks and faucets, a new gas cooktop, exhaust fan, dishwasher, laundry room vanity, and crown molding in 3 rooms. All the work was completed in 7 days with outstanding results.Tell Projects has different professionals that do each job. The granite fabricator, tile installers, plumber, electrician, carpenters, glass men, and painters are all different individuals. The granite man, Alber, and the tile installers are artists in the work they do.From the quoting process with Zach to the constant follow up with Ellie who is the greatest in the main office, all of your concerns or questions are handled. If there is something you are not happy with they come back and take care of it. The price was good and the work and clean up was outstanding. I would recommend Tell Projects to anyone who wants work done in their home or business.

One of our daughters bathroom had a tile grout issue that caused water to leak into the wall. We were worried about water damage and mold. We contacted a few different contractors, but Zach from Tell was the most responsive. He came to take a look at the job very quickly after I contacted him. As we discussed the job, it became clear that Zach was very customer-focused and communicated very well what he planned to do. While he was there, we also took a look at all the bathrooms and kitchens to identify any other tiles issues they could address. Zach also showed me their mobile showroom, which also highlighted what other work they do.The other contractors we considered fell short either in speed of bidding the job or their bid was less comprehensive. So we chose to go with Tell and they could start the next week. They let me know they would start Wednesday. I was responsible for choosing and purchasing the tile, and they would pick it up from Floor and Decor. That worked out somewhat well, except the store didnt have the order ready quickly enough, so Id suggest you order with plenty of time for the store to collect it or have it moved to a more convenient store.After demolishing the existing tile, the good news is that there was little water damage and no real replacement was necessary on the wood framing. Given that, the crew got to work quickly on putting the tub back in and tiling the floor and surround with the new tile. We had solid large tile picked along with an accent tile stripe. Zach and Benjamin (crew boss) did a good job of working together to get the design we had in mind correctly laid out.When I got home, I was very impressed with their tile job and pretty happy. They even finished a day earlier than expected. There were a few cosmetic issues that we asked to get fixed, and they did a good job of addressing them quickly to our satisfaction. Everyone in the crew was very professional and I felt they really cared about our satisfaction. Id definitely consider them for any bathroom or kitchen remodel.

Where do I start? I can write a book on my developed relionship with Tell-projects, Ill just keep it short and sweet. Tell-projects is by far the BEST REMOLDING TEAM THERE IS! Ive been through many! Like a cheerleader on a football team....lol. No seriously not just on the hand crafted projects they complete with a magnificent finish but the honestly and integrity behind every project. The Tell-projects team arent just in it for a quick come up or to see how much cash they can whiggle out of you. Tell-projects LOVE and have a passion for what they do and I know that makes the difference. The team has finished projects without me even asking at no charge! Just because that small detail made a difference in their eyes and their protectionist. If that doesnt say a lot in so many words and you do not choose them, your lost!!!! Tell-Projects Kitchen Renovation - FeedbackThe theme of this feedback would be a Tale of Two Contractors or The Good (Tell-Projects), The Bad (Previous Contractor), and The Ugly (factors). We embarked on what would we hoped would be a fun, or at least rewarding, kitchen remodeling project April 2018. From various bids, “Previous Contractor” and Tell-Projects were the most competitive. However, the winner “Previous Contractor”, had a closer showroom for visits and sample viewing.The Bad -- “Previous Contractor”The “Previous Contractor” started demolition the last week of April 2018. Although otherwise assured by “Previous Contractor” designer/owner, the project manager never actually showed up to our job site. Beginning May, electrical/wiring work was started but not completed. Same for drywall installation and texturing. Then, cabinet products were delivered and the cabinet installer worked a few days, only to be taken off our job to service another “Previous Contractor” customer. Never to return.Granted, smaller contractors require diverting some resources to other projects, but temporarily. However, the only trade work in June resulted from an electrician to install a highly-sought outlet. Suspicion, and a hunch, prompted a visit to “Previous Contractor” office on June 30. The result was a jolting, but not surprising, discovery. The “Previous Contractor” operation was locked out by the strip center landlord for lack rent payment back on April 30. The timing adversely affected our project. Obtaining legal consequently ended any further contractual dealing with “Previous Contractor”.After much deliberation, we turned back to Tell-Projects. Despite having passed on them previously, any concern about any residual offense proved unfounded. Ellie was quite gracious and understanding because they have seen this way too many times.The Good – Tell-ProjectsIn July, Zachs second bid version was reasonable and they were available to start the project within a short time. Zach found the floor-cabinetry foundations, installed by “Previous Contractor”, lacking in many ways. So, the Tell crew set them aside to install the flooring first. A level foundation would effectively anchor the floor cabinets and ensure substantial support for a heavy quartz countertop. Otherwise, over time, the cabinetry would have sunk or collapsed from improper construction by “Previous Contractor”.Several trades came into build the rest of the kitchen in prompt order. The countertop specialist and assistant showed noteworthy artistry in the way he was able match the seams of the quartz countertop with the same quartz backsplash. There were some dings and defects that also had to be addressed. But ultimately, Albert provided the right - almost magical - touch in finishing some potentially troublesome nicks on the countertop surface.Next, the electrical trade crew displayed impressive acumen in correcting the unwieldy mess left by the previous electrical contractor. Observing their troubleshooting reminded me of scientists researching complex problems and reasoning workable solutions for them. They were able to implement the necessary breakers and fabricate plugs to make the new oven/range work. These same electricians were able to adequately finish the under-cabinet lighting and plugs/light switches.My spouse appreciated the Tell-Project carpenters’ cabinetry and trim work, despite missing some materials from the previous job. Their deft improvisational skills might have made for a better cabinetry presentation than what the missing original materials might have provided.The Ugly .....That the “Previous Contractor” contractor quality control was laughable was evidenced by all items the Tell-Projects had to correct to finish the kitchen project. This was typified by the aforementioned lack of proper anchoring for the floor cabinets and the challenging Rubicks cube of wiring left for the electricians to decipher. Tell-Project resurrected a kitchen project to completion.

My wife and I had a leak in the shower pan which had leaked into the closet as well as the adjoining cabinets. The damage and expense was a a shock so we spoke with several contractors, our insurance company (which was not covered) and looked at estimates. By accident the last estimate was from Zach at Tell Projects. I liked them from start to the finish, Zach made my wife and I feel very comfortable, communicated regularly and was very patient. He would explain everything in detail and with respect. As the job progressed there were a couple of unexpected repairs and Zach took care of them immediately and without complaint. Finally at the end of the repair Zach and Tell-Projects stood by their estimate and didnt charge us a penny more than quoted! I highly recommend Tell-Projects and will be using them in the future. Tell-Projects remodeled our family bathroom. We have a house from 1973, it is old and rundown and OUTDATED! The layout is just not functional anymore having 4 kids use the same bathroom. Tell-projects came in, gutted everything, and started from the beginning. We kept the bathtub and they added a rain shower and hand held. They tiled the entire room-walls and floors. They added 4 custom made soap boxes, one for each one of my kids and made it look gorgeous. They added a granite countertop as well and were able to re-use our cabinets saving us some money. I cant wait until our next project with Tell-Projects!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for any type of handyman service to a remodel!!

Originally Tell-projects came into re-do my kitchen backsplash. They saw that my kitchen was falling apart being it is a kitchen from 1988. I saw pictures of past projects they have done and Zack couldnt be nicer! He told me Rebecca, I have over 15 years of experience, our pictures speak for themselves, you can trust me. And although I was hesitant, I did. Tell projects refaced all of my kitchen cabinet and rebuilt my entire pantry with new shelving they cut and made on site. They made the pantry door made look brand new. They sanded and painted and stained and installed and repaired and tried to save me as much money as they could along the way. I have to stay that I was very skeptical but they did an excellent job! The workers treated my house like it was there own home and were so respectful of me and my kids. They always made sure to come after my kids left for school as to not bother breakfast time. They got me an incredible price for gorgeous white granite and installed all new door handles The backsplash is gorgeous white subway tile with a mosaic above my stove top. My kitchen looks brand new and it was just a simple update that took 4 days. Best part was the price, it was excellent for the amount of work that they did!!! My friends wont stop talking about my kitchen and I am a very happy customer, so is my husband ;) Thanks Zach and the crew!!! I cant wait until my next project with you guys, get ready, I know I am!!! I will definitely recommenced them!

I recently noticed my friends house had some gorgeous renovations done. I thought I had walked into someone elses house. They retiled 2000 Sqft of the house with a gorgeous white tile, and as an accent wall they tiled the entire fire place. They turned an outside play area into a dining room and their kids scoot around the house all day screaming there is so much room for activities! They later told me that they redesigned and tiled the kids bathrooms, painted the entire house, tiled the garage and turned it into an office by adding air con system and window....well you get the idea! I was shocked to find out that they did this all in one week! They really worked around the clock to turn this familys needs and dreams into a reality. I cant wait to use them on my own house, especially after finding out that the owner is flexible with prices based on my budget.
