Adonis cut my three-year-old sons hair and did an amazing job. His fade was smooth and his curls are popping. The facility was clean, professional, and appropriate for all ages. I have already recommended this barber shop to many of my sons friends and their fathers. I highly recommend this establishment for you and your family. Their cuts are quality and precise.

The place it’s nice and very friendly. But very disappointed with my haircut made it by Brandon. And they charge you $40!!!!!!! Plus tip, just haircut no edge up, no lines, no design, no beard, no special treatment, no towel nothing, just HAIRCUT!!!!! And they excused that it was a difficult haircut when I just asked a low fade that every other barbershop can make it without saying “it’s very hard I’ll try to do it”. I’ll leave the pictures how I wanted or something similar and how it was done.

The music is so loud. Couldnt carry a conversation without raising my voice. My wife, who I was on the phone with, doesnt normally complain much but she did this time about the music being so loud.I understand the music. I dont understand the extreme volume. Didnt even get a hair cut. I couldnt wait through the music.

Good barbers, but the wait time is ridiculous-3hr wait time.They should really go by appointments I wouldn’t wait 3hrs for a haircut. Also the music is extremely super loud. 🚫

First experience with them the haircut was decent . I went to pay and the price was a whooping $35 plus automatic added tip . Nope never again . I badly needed a haircut for graduation but will stick to my regular place which is way way cheaper for a good quality cut .

Was in need of a new barber shop so decided to try this location. Customer service was great and the environment was very inviting. Left a bit disappointed as far as my haircut goes. Edge up wasn’t all that straight and my beard was definitely not even or edged up correctly causing the barber to add black filler. Blending was decent but can tell that some areas are off. To top it off the total cut itself cost me $51 with some change. Not going to lie was not worth it in my opinion I either got someone new to the shop or he just didn’t do a good job. If I have to go home and fix or tweak what was the point of getting the hair cut then.

Just got my cut today here at Boss Fadez and they did a great job. Being the only female costumer in there I felt really welcomed and the staff did a great job. If you need a cut highly recommended. Very clean too.

Brandon is great and I have consistently great experiences at this shop. Expect to pay for the level of service youre receiving so its a little on the pricy side but absolutely worth it.

The only barber shop I’ve ever been to where the standard of cut is not dependent on what chair you sit in/barber you see. I’ve been going here for a few years and trust every barber in there to give me a cut that I’ll be happy with. Owners are extremely professional and go above and beyond for their customers. As a soldier who needs regular hair cuts there is no place in Houston that I would recommend over Boss Fadez!

They did a fantastic job! My mom went to cosmetology school and has been cutting hair for 20 years, but I often have to go to barbershops because I travel out of state for work. I know exactly what to look for when judging a barber. Of all of the barbershops that I’ve been to, this is by far the best one. I had Eric, and he paid attention to all of the little details that most barbers don’t pay attention to. Very high quality place.

Long wait time walked in @1pm to leave at 3:45pm with no haircut and if you’re not a regular they just skip you. As I was waiting I noticed a lot of barbers on their phones distracted from doing their jobs. Won’t be going here again

Been going for about 3-4 years, very professional place. The barbershop itself has a unique look to it .. it is always clean and they all got all the games on! Staff is friendly and stay busy at all times. I always set an appointment and leave in a timely manner with a clean fade. Recommend all my homies to pull up!

I received horrible service where a barber named Danny chose to skip my name/turn in order to cut his friend’s hair in which he just arrived 15 minutes after me and I waited for an hour for my turn.

2nd time going in, and suddenly the price changes from $25 on my first visit now jumping to $35 this last time. Nothing special was done to my hair, as in no lines, no parts, just a regular mid fade woth edge up no above and beyond customer service, no offer of shave, to make an all around great cut and fresh look/feeling. Gentleman (jose) stated the price had been up for 4 months now at a ($35 rate) although i went in less than 3 weeks ago when it was $25 a cut. Now that holidays are here seems like theyre adding their own tips in the fine print . . the job they do is nothing greater than an average stylists at sports clips. At least there they give u shoulder massage, hair wash and hot steam towel for the same price.. And for the ones who claim this is the greatest place youve ever been, just wish i would have received the same service or care you seemed to get.

I drive 40 minutes one way to get a cut here. First off the shop is CLEAN! It’s a very organized barbershop with competitive prices for a top notch fade! Clean blends and no blade burns. Definitely a 5 star place, 10/10.

Been coming here for mostly a huge part of my 18-23 years of age, overall one of the best barbers in my opinion. Maybe not old school but for sure you always come out with the best cut they offer. Of course there is a downside, availability maybe it’s the amount of people this location gets but they really stay pack and honestly if you are a walk in expect to wait a about 1 hour and a half . I do think the owner should consider expansion besides the salon, I feel like boss fadez has a name that a lot of people love coming to so I’m sure having more locations would be very convenient. But if you don’t mind waiting then it’s sure enough worth it, you come out feeling good and fresh.

The barbers here are terrible. My hair wasn’t even completely faded on one side and my hairline was pushed back 1 1/2 inches. They are also one of the most expensive places in Houston. If you pay with a card for a cut and shave it’s like 45 bucks.

Hair cuts are decent/nice, place is clean, owner is thoughtful to offer refreshments. The reason I give 3 stars is due to the cost (expensive) and the wait. I’ve been here a few times and I always have to wait 2-3 hours. Even appointment cuts take an hour. I’m sorry but I have things to do and that’s a long wait even so, a long time cutting my hair.Think about it, 4 barbers, all chairs full and they all take an hour. That’s 1 right there. If you have 2 people in front of you, that’s a 3 hour wait. The chair plus the other 2. Like no.... that’s too long.I’ve paid $15 for nice fades before at other locations and I am in the seat no longer than 30-35 minutes. Good in and out with a packed location and great cut. I come here because I’m on this side about once a month and usually get here when doors open.It truly shouldn’t take that long for a nice fade (what most folks get here besides comb overs). If you got things to do, make the appointment and plan to spend 1.5 hours - 2 here.

Went in and noticed right away that the barbershop is doing their part in trying to keep customers safe by social distancing. They installed shields that separate each barber and their clients from others. Will come back.

Been to too many barber shops but this one was truly outstanding. Jay has to be the best barber Ive seen, he pays attention to every detail and will put his very best effort to do his best. If anyone is looking for a new barber shop I believe you will be more than satisfied with Boss Fadez.

This was my first time. I have coarse thick textured hair that most people are not accustomed to cutting in this area. The owner was very pleasant upon arriving. José my (new) barber listened to my instructions and was VERY patient. He did exactly as I asked for without experience with my texture of hair. I have found my new Houston Salon! I am very pleased with my style and the customer service I received.

This place is Boss! No pun intended! Great cuts! As a result of the quality of work be prepared to wait. But while you wait, they will provide music 3 TVs with Football on Sundays (Yes they open Sundays) and offer the occasional beverage. A1 Cuts A1 environment!

I am a big fan of this barbershop. The word that comes to mind when I think of this barbershop is clean. My haircuts and beard line ups are always clean. The bathrooms and the shop are always clean. Even the hip hop music that is played is clean, which really adds to the environment especially for when kids are around.I really like the location too. I have gotten my hair cut by Mayte and John and they both do great work. Highly recommend this barbershop.

I have never left anyone a negative review, The haircut I got here was the worst I have ever gotten in my life and I’m not exaggerating, the person who cut my hair was a young man, I do see some other barbers here cut better, as I have tried them before. My question to the owner is why do you have inexperienced barbers working here ? And Messing peoples hair up ? I don’t have a problem with the $25 haircut but what I received was worth nothing I was better off cutting my own hair. I would not recommend anyone else come here it’s like playing Russian roulette you might get a decent barber or you might get the inexperienced one and get a horrible haircut.

The shop is clean and professional looking, but for the price tag I hoping for a better hair cut. I would rate the shop a 2 star for the haircut but the barber accepted my complaints and fixed my hair with no problem. Professional staff just double check and make sure both sides of your head look the same.

I don’t think the utensils was properly cleaned because I started to receive razor bumps from back of heads after my appointment after I had left so yeah I won’t be returning back here anytime soon.

Just walked in after eating at Marios. I had to wait a bit since I didnt have an appointment but the staff was very friendly. Not a cheap $5 haircut place but average price for any good haircut place. Hector cut my hair and it was perfect. Maite cut my 3 yr old sons hair and did a great job. I was having a hard time finding a haircut place for my son since he is little but I think I just found it.

Place was great over all and I enjoyed the conversation with the barber and everything. He did a great job on my hair. Only thing negative I can say about them is that they need to make sure they on the natural hair line and not pushing your hair line back just so when your hair grow back it look messed up so you end up going rite back real quick. So thats it other then that everything else was cool.

Where do I start with this review? I have never been to a barbershop that takes care of a customers needs more than Boss Fadez Barber Shop. I have been a customer since the shop opened 3 years ago and I refuse to get my haircut anywhere else. This is my local go-to when I want to get my beard cleaned up, or my head shaved the olde fashioned way. Ive tried a few of the barbers and the attention to detail remains consistent throughout the Boss Fadez team. It can get busy depending on what time you go (you can book ahead), but they have a decent amount of seating and TVs to keep you occupied if youre bored of looking at your cell phone.

Boss fadez is one of the best barbershops in Houston just got done with I believe john said his name was P and he hooked me up. Anyone needing a new shop go there. If your reading these and wondering why theres a wait its because these barbers care enough to put the time on your hair to make it look as good as possible for you. 10/10 from me.

Went in on Saturday. Called in advance and they said they were only taking walk-ins, when I walk in they ask me do you have an appointment? Then tell me there are 4 people ahead of me, fine no problem. They tell me the owner is only seeing appointments and I would have to sit with one of the girls. 1 of the 3 girls leave. Leaving 2 people with 4 people ahead of me. The owner finishes a cut, walks off comes back 45 min later and takes a guy that came in after me who told the girl he was a walk-in. I have moved 7 times in 7 years starting in NY where you have true barbers and this place is seriously the worse shop I have ever been to. Mind you I drove 35 min to this place. ($5 to set up an appt. unheard-of). I am a business man who will never spend money at a business ran this poorly. Ive been to this place 4 times. Justin who quit (smart choice) was a solid Barber cut my hair. I let a girl cut my hair one time she pushed my hairline back, left my fade uneven, so bad my wife noticed immediately. Pretty funny thinking back. My journey to find anything close to an east coast barber continues.

Great place where I got a fade from 2 different barbers and both have done really clean fades, love that they are open on sundays as it helps with my work schedule, friendly staff offer you water or soda really cool Barbershop!!

I walked in signed up, 10 mins later they called me, i showed her a picture on my phone what type of cut i wanted and then told her i dont wanna see any transitions between hair sizes, she proceeded to cut my hair, at the end of her cut the result was not the same as the picture, i told her its not what the picture reflects and its need to be faded, she told me that i asked for non transitional hair cut and if i want a fade she will charge me extra 5$snd that she has another customer waiting, i told her no problems i just want the right cut, she told her receptionist to charge me extra and when she came back she went extra fast and rough, towards the end i walked towards counter and they charged me total of 25$ plus 10$ instead of 5$, at the end of the day one bad experience, i am not looking for compensation as i will take my business somewhere else

I went here for the first time with my friend and boyfriend to get him a trim for his long hair. We were initially waiting for about 1 hour or so, but it was definitely worth the wait! Everyone there is so friendly and especially our barber, Shakira. I read about people complaining that they take a long time for each person, but thats because they REALLY put in a lot of effort to make sure each person walks out happy. Which we ALL did. Shakira did an absolutely amazing job on the fade on my boyfriends hair, we are both so happy and I couldnt believe my eyes

This place is great! Best barbers yet. My guy has been just about everywhere out here and no one can cut his hair like he asked. We showed the barber a couple pictures of what he wanted and she went to work, he walked out with the best cut and beard trim Ive seen him have in years. Very thankful to find this place indeed! Only draw back is the price increase, his first cut and beard trim was $28.00 two weeks later it was $40.00 they charge a $5.00 fee for appointment $26.00 for the cut now. So yeah that part is a drawback, but they do a great job!!!

Second time i bring my boys here for a haircut and i love this barber shop more then any ive ever been. The barbers are actually PROFESSIONAL and thats rare to see in any shop. Barbers are not walking off to eat or talk on the phone for long periods off time. I didnt have an appointment and wait was about 10 mins tops. Definitely recommend . Also i think the owner is a light skin man and he made sure barbers were checking the sign in list to ensure everyone was getting taken care off in the right order. Thanks guys!
