Talented barbers, gave me a discount because it was my first visit but 50 for a fade, even a great one, is a little steep.Edit:10/28/19 in response to proprietors replyI appreciated the discount, I assumed that was evident by my tip of $30. Youre slightly off on the numbers which leads me to believe you make them up as you see fit. I was told the price is regularly $50, but I was given a half price discount making the price $25. I wouldnt expect a future discount. As I clearly stated, the fades are good, but the city is full of equally talented barbers who dont engage in price-gouging.

Recently moved to Houston and needed to find a new barber desperately. I found their website online and read Victor’s idea and mission. So I took the chance and I’m very satisfied. Ive gotten a fade and a taper and I like both of them very much. Victor is very personable and tries to make sure your comfortable. It’s appointment based which makes it easier and I’m normally attended when I arrive. It is a very relaxed shop and the service is great.

I was in need of a barber after getting my locks re-twisted. My barber had left already for the day. Due to me being finished getting twisted around 8:00PM. So i was in desperate need of a barber because i had to work the next day and my edges were in distress due to all the new growth. so i took to google and stumbled across the website. To be honest I was very skeptical in the beginning and though it was a hoax but Im beyond grateful I booked this appointment with Victor. He was very professional and punctual arriving exactly at the scheduled time of my appointment 11:00PM. He welcomed me to the shop and made me feel like family offered me drinks the whole nine yards. the icing on the cake was the whole cut in general, which was absolutely worth every penny spent. I will definitely be back.thanks for great service.

Second time coming here and Victor did an incredible job on my fade and giving me insight how I should do it to get the hairstyle I want. He takes his time with cutting your hair and shows you as he cuts it to make sure it’s how you want it. Was welcomed by Danny and he chatted it up with me and offered drink and the environment there is chill and makes you feel at home. Today i called to just check if the barbershop was open for business yet, i was told that a haircut would be 300$ for a haircut. So basically he is price gauging and also breaking the law will be reporting this to the city of Houston. This is my go to barbershop, it’s a nice spot to get a haircut. Barbers are skilled and just a cool environment overall as well. You also set appointment for your haircut so that’s a plus, not having to wait for over an hour like other barbershops.

I actually never ever leave a review.....Pretty sure this is my first one. I just moved to Houston and have tried other barbers such as Bayou City, In The Black, and Cutthroat (all of these are well known). I mean they werent bad....but wasnt really anything special for the price.........a step up from a super cuts I guess?Anywho, my guy Vic......he is ridiculously talented. Hes flexible with his hours, and he always give his HONEST opinion. The dude will work with you on your hair color, head shape, what looks good, what will look good a few month from now, etc etc.....he takes the time to get to know you....At the end of the day, what matters is how good the hair cut is. Vic is amazing. Dont even waste time on these other hipster trash barbers in midtown that get by just because they give you beer.

After almost half a year I have been looking for a barbershop in Houston. I have been several places and hated the cut and at times the barber. Victor been my barber since 2013.Always consistent, always great customer service,.The best thing that I like from this place it’s that I don’t have to wait to get my hair cut done. I made my appointment over the phone and it’s done.I just to drive from Katy to this place twice a month.So I don’t trust no other place than this place.Also it’s a kids friendly place.And after 7pm he has an after hours service so you can come at anytime you want. Afterhours Barbershop is true to its name, you have to wait till after hours to get your hair cut. I made an appointment at 1230 and got there on time, when I arrived Danny let me know he would be right with me. I sat in their waiting area for 40mins listening to Danny chat it up about his new mix tape with the customer he was serving. It also showed their level of customer service when he offered the man in the chair a drink but did not even acknowledge I was there. I ended up leaving without getting my cut. I would not recommend this barber shop to anyone. I usually go to bayou city barber shop but was not able to get in today.

Victor does a great job cutting hair. However, my last appointment I waited 30 minutes at 10:30 at night before leaving without a haircut. I decided to give him a second shot and just went in straight from the airport after business trip, only to be left waiting again at 10:30 at night after arriving on time for my appointment. For professionals working long hours, this seems like the only late night option, but it’s not worth your time if your appointment won’t start when it’s supposed to, especially given that he has raised prices by ~30% for the after hours cut.
