If I could rate this business zero stars, I absolutely would.I tried to deal with this company for three days, and ended with telling me that they would not be able (did not want) to tow my vehicle.Their website clearly states that they do off road vehicle recovery to include: mud, beach and sand, hockey terrain, and river bank.Wrecker driver claimed to have called me multiple times yet those calls were never received until I had the service department have him call me directly from his personal phone, to the point where he told me that he didnt want to do the job.Do not waste your time with this business, they will do nothing but string you along for days on end and youll end up having to find another service.Highly disappointed with the false advertising and lack of professional service.

I called them at 9:00 am they said they would arrive at 9:30 am, it is 11:00am and they still havent arrived. They asked for a credit card fee of 89.00 dollars non refundable in case I leave, but they charged my card 195.00 the total amount before they anyone showed. I am still waiting. Will comment again to update poor service. 12:04 pm still waiting on wrecker service.

I called for a tow around 1pm and the guy who answered set it up and said it would be about half an hour. After an hour i called back and he said the driver was on his way and would contact me when he is close. This happened every half hour until 330pm when i had someone call for me because my phone died and he told them the driver was already there picking me up! Right after that the driver called apologizing for the delay, having no idea that the person in the office had been telling me he was nearby. Honesty goes a lot farther than telling a customer what you think they want to hear!

My experience with Golden Towing was pretty awesome!! They were very punctual and courteous. The driver was very knowledgeable and knew my area quite well. Not to mention...I spent less than I anticipated. Will most definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family. Thanks Golden Towing!!!😀😀

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! Google shows great reviews for this company so I chose them. I should have checked yelp instead. Called to have my car towed. The operator quoted me a price and scheduled the tow. Once the car was towed I was charged double the price! I was then given additional charges that were clearly just wrote down on the invoice prior to dropping off the car. When I called the operator his response well the extra charges are for Labor. What??? I was already charged a service fee of almost $100, a per mileage fee, and now they are adding this suspicious labor fee. He also said they charged extra because he used a flat bed trailer??? This is literally the worse towing company. DO NOT USE!

Although the rates told to me on the phone versus the rate when I got home were different and that I had to wait for two hours on the freeway because of a miscommunication from dispatch, when William showed up to tow my Harley, which was his first motorcycle tow, he was very courteous, professional, and took exceptional care of my bike. The only reason I gave 3 starts is because of the unforeseen costs and time I waited.

Dont use them! They are not honest business. My front wheel hit the curb, and they quoted me $59 for the quick job, but the driver said he need to put a wood to jack up the car, and charged me $205. Also, the driver is so bad at driving, that he drove me to the wrong mechanic shop, and nearly ran a red light, and hit another driver. i am speechless.

If you need a tow, and if you have a choice, please do yourself a favor and use somebody else. I had a truly awful experience. They take your full credit card info at the beginning, and say that once the driver calls, I cannot cancel (i.e., if I cancel, they will charge the card for the tow). The driver called very quickly, and said was 35 minutes away. This soon became an hour and a half, and the driver stopped answering his phone. When reached through the company operator, I was told repeatedly -- only 15 minutes away, only 10 minutes away, and so on. This was late in the evening, around 9 pm, so traffic was not an issue. The tow truck finally came after two hours (I dont mind waiting, but the company should provide honest estimates). And then, the final charge was ridiculous. The total was twice the amount originally quoted. $89 for service call, but once the truck arrives, it is $75 extra to hook up the tow (what the heck is the service call fee for), and then it was an additional $65 to attach a magnetic light for safety. As I said, avoid this company at all costs.

Didnt have keys to my car and it was in the rear of my house so it was a tight space. The young man was able to maneuver my car right out into the alley on top of that he had to use plastic skates under my wheels. His skill was there.

DO NOT USE GOLDEN TOWING! THEY COULD LEAVE YOU STRANDED LIKE THEY LEFT ME! My roadside dispatched Golden towing and I called immediately to let them know my mechanic had to receive the vehicle within 2 hours in order to have it ready that day for me to work on Monday. Golden said that it wouldnt be an issue and they had plenty of time to get it in there by 11:00 am. Not only did they have me Waiting for 2 hours for a NO SHOW, but they couldnt even pick up the phone for my roadside when they called to see what was going on. HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!!!! And my roadside is guaranteed payment, so you can only imagine how they treat normal paying customers. Now I have to find a way to work on Monday due to their unprofessional and unreliability! Thanks for nothing Golden Towing!

I ran my car into a cement ditch and it was caught up on my frame. Wasnt sure how I was going to get it down without more damage but the young man made it look so damn easy. These guys are pros and life savers cause they came fast.

Horrible. Do not call them. Called at 7:30 said someone should be soon. Gave it an hour. Called again and they be there in 20 minutes another 45 minutes passed called again said 10 minutes. 30 minutes passed called try to cancel they would still charge us if we cancelled. Already waited over 2 hours they called us said woul be here soon but no one came, tried to cancel didnt care about the fee at this point but they hung up on us. We called another company to come get us they got there in 15 minutes. The driver then called us 3 hours later to say he was there. And it looks like that some of their positive reviews are not legitimate.

Golden towing did an excellent job with my tundra I hit a curb and popped 2 of my tires so I called and they estimated I had a driver in 30 minutes the driver called with in 5 minutes and showed up in 30 like they had said. Call center was very professional and polite.

Good service, but some operators answering phone need customer service classes. Tito (Tow driver)was really patient and understanding. He towed my car and charged me a flat fee as discussed prior. Ricky was up front, but a little smart and sarcastic until I explained that I just wanted to be clear on pricing and did not want to be hit with other charges . I think that the guys answering the phone are brutally honest and appear dry. The management needs to focus on some aspects of customer service. There are alot of deceptive practices out there, the towing business isnt one that is trusted. With that being said, I recommend this towing service.

2nd time using this company. I drove home from Tyler only to realize that when I finished working out at the gym that my keys were still in Tyler. Wow you can imagine how stupid I felt and how costly this was. My tow driver went above and beyond to engage my 2018 camaro into neutral saving me money and time also hard work for the tow guy. Definitely a tow company with integrity and for the people.

I can’t recommend this company. They charge a flat rate of $350 dollars per tow, plus the $69 hook up fee. They towed my car less than 2 miles and charged in excess of $400. They wouldn’t drop the car until I paid. I would only authorize $300 and they argued with me about their fees. It should have cost about $100. I would avoid them.

They basically scammed me out of my money. I called them on Saturday cause I was trying to get my car out of the parking lot and the tow guy charged me an arm and A leg for a tow down the street. 474 dollars. I asked for the price and got told that at Max itd be around 200 bucks which was fine with me but after I got it towed I thought everything was cool until he showed me how much I owed. Im still confused as to how and why its that much cause it was only a half mile drive. The five stars is what brought me to call them first but apparently thats part of their facade.Edit:Ignore the automated phoney reply down below they are not going to do anything to help me they dont care and im going to be posting a audio recording of my friend calling and asking for a tow and the price they told me in the near future.

I was stuck on 610 and really need help! It was rainy and I dont really know anyone from Houston so I was stranded! I called golden towing and they told 30-45 mins, the driver got there in 20 minutes and he was quick and professional! I would def. recommend golden towing if ever stranded on the side of the road!

I was broke down on the side of the highway with a broken ball joint. Needed to be towed 99 miles and the company that responded sent a driver who was dedicated to his job and was so customer serviced based even though it was his last job after a 15 hour shift. Picked me up on the side of the highway and had all equipment nessecery.

Driver was competent, but attempted to charge $450 for a 3 mile tow by adding a bunch of unexpected fees and charges. It may just be the way this company does buisness or something broken in their system. Either way, I do not recommend them for towing.

My car wouldn’t start but Golden Towing came promptly and got it going. I highly recommend them.

I was told that it would take an hour to get to my car and it took over 4 ended up just having to leave my keys in my car for them to take it. When it finally got to the shop it was after hours so I couldnt check up on it. This morning I call and find out they didnt tow to the shop I asked them to that was only .8 miles away but to a diffrent one entirely and I had to get it towed again to the right place. On top of all of that the driver tried to get me to go to the shop they are affiliated with to get my car fixed cheaper than what I would get from the place I wanted them to go. Needless to say I will never use this service again and recommend no one use them.

Man He was amazing I was so worried that I wasnt going to get my truck to my new house, because the strap broke.,but he came and put my truck on the back and got my baby home. So a big shout out to the man that save me from having a heart attack.

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.... the $59 fee they quote you is a ploy. They towed my vehicle less than 10 miles after repeatedly lying saying they were 10 minutes away. The driver finally came after 2 hours when he said 30 minutes . The final price was $258 with a quote of $59.

Talked over me a lot, wouldnt listen and then hung up on me. (Not a heated conversation, just a rude distracted guy on the phone.)

So i was in a desperate situation yesterday. My car stopped running on the freeway. I was searching for a tow company, called Medinas towing that dispatched Golden towing. I was told that the total was going to be 129 for the service and first 10 miles, and an additional 21 for the 7 extra miles. I understand that the weather was bad and many traffic jams caused a 2 hour delay for them to get to me.When i called to cancel they said they were going to charge me the 129 service call. I said you didnt service me, they advised the service call was just them picking up the phone and telling me they were going to send a tow service. They picked up my car after i got towed off the freeway by another service. They got me to my destination and bam ! They started adding other charges that they did not explain on the phone call ! they hit me with a pick up charge of 90 dollars, a safety charge of 50 dollars ! i asked what the safety charge was and the driver said it was for them putting the lights on the back of the car. Then there was a Other Charges charge ! he could even tell me what that was for. I am very upset that they were not upfront about the fees and at least warn me . I would have paid a random person 100 bucks to pull my car. Lesson learned and never will i recommend this towing service.

THE WORST TOWING COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH. For starters they arrived 2 hours after the initial time i was first given, here’s the time line i called golden towing at 1:00pm an was told a driver would contact me once in route. At 1:20 i received a call saying that they where in route and would arrive in 30-35 mins, so at 2:10 i decided to call and see where the driver was. I spoke with him an he told me that the previous customer changed the address to where they were headed so it was going to take an extra 30-45 mins... cool so i wait until 3pm an call again... this time i speak with an operator an he informs me that the driver was on the way to me an would be there shortly, still at 330 nothing. I decided to call again at 330 and spoke to another operator this one informed me that the driver was dropping off another customer an was right down the street from me, down the street turned into another 30 minutes so i was finally picked up at 4pm.Another thing don’t believe any price that they may give you over the phone initially i was told that the cost of the tow would be 89$ (A 45$ service charge) 30$ hook up fee, and 5 $ under ten miles anything under 10 miles)ended up paying 258$!!!! And you once u call an make you’re reservation you cannot cancel or u will be charged an 89$ service charge even if they are HOURS LATE. STAY AWAY FROM GOLDEN TOWING THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND RIP PPL OFF YOUVE BEEN WARNED

Our tow truck driver was very nice. That being said, the office staff is horrible. I was quoted an amount over the phone that was no where near I was actually charged. I was told a driver was on the way....the driver showed up over an hour later. when I called to see where the driver was, I was told he was two exits down-LIE. the driver was on the opposite side of town. Very dishonest office staff.....will never use them again.

The worst towing company ever, they charge a lot more than they tell you on the phone they say it will be a service cost and mention nothing about hookup or anything they charge over 150 bucks for hookup and they charge a service fee, they are the worst towing company I have ever seen, they are scammers.
