Amazing mechanic. My friends were right. Max is the best. He is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I will be using him for a mechanic until he retires.

I have been a faithful client of Maxs for almost ten years. Max has saved me money many times. He is really good about telling me what repairs need to get done and which I shouldnt really spend money on. I trust him blindly with my car and recommend him to all of my friends. The quality of the service is great. He is also very good about telling me about the costs associated with a specific repair ahead of time. I will not stop bringing my car. Highly recommended and I am highly satisfied. I recommend leaving the vehicle with Max, unless youre doing something quick like an oil change or a State Inspection. The waiting area is air conditioned, has a couch and has a TV but it isnt very big.

Hands down the best mechanic there is. I have been going to Max’s shop for about 15 years even now that I moved to Clear Lake and it’s a far drive. He is detailed about the work he’ll be doing, fair with pricing and gives good recommendations. Never have to negotiate pricing and always does the job right. I’ve referred him to family and friends and all have been satisfied getting their car worked on by him. Hard to find an honest mechanic and can’t say enough about him.

I took my jeep wrangler to the dealership before I went here for a busted gasket in my engine and for my 50k mile service. This place didn’t try to upsell me, offered to show me all the parts they replaced in my truck and did it all for less than half of what the dealership asked. I’ve now driven about 3k miles and my engine light is finally gone. Really happy with this place.

Incompetent irresponsible and unaccountable owner without any integrity or self-respect. Don’t be fooled by a 4.7 star reviews most are for oil changes and inspection sticker which is about the only thing they can do right.

I usually went to my favorite Toyota service center in my home town for maintenance and repairs before I recently relocated to Houston. Being new to this city, I rely heavily on reviews and ratings through Yelp or Google. I was horrified to see all the repetitive negative customer service reviews dating far back to recent dates of dealerships in this area. I feared that I would end up like all the other victims of poor customer service who wasted their time and money. Like hello, its 2016, no one has time to waste for all that foolishness.Luckily, I found Max on the Top 10 list in Houston. My very first try was a success! I arrived around 2pm today and Max was able to service my car for an oil change immediately. He was done before I could even finish reading a magazine in the waiting area! Max was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this establishment to everyone!I wish I could give more stars!!

Honesty, honesty, honest - does things right, I was there to witness and over hear a replacement engine had a blow head - and the convo was to inform the owner the bad news - “we will have to take longer then original planned but we got to do it right” and “I’m gonna tell those fellas - check the darn thing before they send it our way”Wow, that’s why I drive across town to get all my vehicles serviced by this place - I don’t mind the drive and I sure don’t mind waiting because I have three sons and I need to shuffle those boys between school, practices, and scouts, and the only stress I want on my mind is finishing homework, feeding them, and getting em ready for school, AND not if my truck is gonna break down along the way - keep up the great work Max and thanks for keeping all my vehicles running strong!

Max is the nicest, fastest, most honest mechanic I have ever encountered. My friend referred me to him about 5 years ago. I refer everyone I know to him because he is that good. He provides excellent customer service and always remembers me when I call him.

Bryant is great, inspected a car I wanted to make an offer on and came up with a list of stuff that needed fixing. Ill take care of most of it myself, because you can find detailed tutorials for most intermediate repairs on youtube, but knowing exactly what to work on is super helpful. He and the shop replaced the valve cover gasket on the car too, which went well.

Took my old Honda Civic for a transmission replacement. Max and his staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. They made sure the job was done right and at a very competitive price. I highly recommend his shop.

My roommate had a dead battery at a restaurant outside midtown. Had a tow truck bring her Jeep to Max where he quickly diagnosed the issue was a completely dead battery (and not what was suspected to be a faulty starter). Her battery was only 15 months old, so she went to the Sears on Shepherd, where they claimed the issue was the exact opposite of what Max said. Sears was trying to RIP HER OFF by having her pay for a pricier starter over a FREE battery. She called Max where he insisted that they check again. HE was right, honest and upfront 100% of the time. Shame on Sears for trying to con her out of unnecessary work. We will always use Max for any and all car issues. Thanks so much, Max!

Best place in town for sure! Our car was making a weird sound and shaking. No one could properly diagnose the issue, but robbed us.Max was an angel in our misery. He diagnosed that the flywheel needed to be replaced. We bought him the flywheel and he replaced it at a great price. You will not regret taking your car at Lube and Sticker Max.

Just wanted to share my experience. My wifes car was making a weird noise because she ran over a tire in the middle of the street. Max took 15 minutes to look at her car and found out that one of the fender covers came loose and wasnt able to be tacked back on. He cut the loose part off for us and didnt charge us anything. He was super nice and humble. I will definitely be back if I have any car care needs.

Max is the most honest mechanic I know. I sold car for years and and know how some mechanics/ service shop will inflate prices or do unnecessary repairs because women dont know any better. But Max is up front and honest and I would recommend him 1000 times over!

Max is the owner of the place. Very reasonable prices and tells you all the problems with your car, and whats most important to be fix and what can be fixed later. If you ever have doughts he even holds on to parts to show you what he fix specifically!My father passed 2 years ago but before Max was working on my dads cars for over 5 yrs.

Had been several times for oil changes. The folks who work there are nice.The last time I went they told me my oil cap seized up and theyd have to break it off and replace it. $50 for a new assembly and cap. I told them I didnt have time for it but Id bring it back. Went home and easily unscrewed the cap. Brought the car to another nearby shop and had the oil change done with no issue.

Been getting my car fixed/up to snuff with Max for about 6 months now. I drive for a living, so I have to make sure there are no hiccups. He did a great job putting on some struts and suspension that I purchased online. No problems at all, and very reasonable prices. Doesnt come off at all to be one of those hundreds of other mechanics who just want your money and could care less about whether or not their customers are satisfied. He genuinely seems to care about and take pride in his work, his product, his brand...which is something that is sorely lacking in society in general.I came in today and got my second oil change here, and neither time I waited for more than 30 minutes for my car to be finished from the time I arrived. Ive only been here 3 times, but I feel very comfortable saying that Max and his staff will be my mechanic(s) for a long time.

I take back all the positive things I said about this place. Im currently at a repair shop in Baton Rouge getting my front wheel bearings fixed because Max and his people didnt fix it right the first time. Now Im wondering what else they didnt do right.

I found Max thru the reviews and love him. I came about 2 months ago for my inspection & was in & out in about 20 mins. This week one of my headlights went out, but I couldnt change it because my hood was stuck. I stopped by early on my to work and he took care of it in 15 mins for free. Highly recommend him!

Best auto repair shop ive been to in years. I took my car in for a oil change that was over due. MAX and his team informed me tht my transmission pan was leaking(which he replaced, he changed the filter, i asked him to do a tune-up which he did. Also replaced my side mirror tht was knocked off by a bad driver, the dust catcher was hanging at the bottom of my car in the front. All Parts and labor $250.
