My car was acting odd, the engine started rumbling & would stall when parked. So I called this shop since it was the closest to me & asked if I could come in. Once I arrived the owner Ken promptly did a detailed assessment of my car & let me know that one of the air intake hoses needed to be replaced. The service was very professional & I left satisfied with a car that was running perfect again.

On short notice Ken arranged towing and repaired 2002 Camry. He was prompt, courteous, on time, and very reasonably priced. Extremely satisfied!!!

Used to go here back in 2017 and 2018 when I lived in the area.The owner I believe his name is Ken;always honest, clear, professional, and easy to communicate with. Ive gotten state inspection, oil change, and some other work ( I dont remember anymore). No bs up-selling. Just fair and honest assessment and work. Fair prices for services. I needed new shocks on my car. My car was ready extremely fast. Excellent service.

I stopped at STARS because I needed my car inspected and I remembered seeing their sign advertising state inspections. They were able to get started right away on the inspection. Afterwards they told me my car wouldnt pass inspection until I got a rear brake light replaced. I was told I had 15 days to replace that light then I would pass inspection. I didnt want to have to leave & come back. I asked the manager if he could replace that light for me. To my relief he said they would be able to do that.. In 45 more minutes my light was replaced & I had my State Inspection Certificate. I was very happy with the service at STARS Auto Repair.

I came in for an alignment but they managed to get my tires for me so I didnt have to go to another place and save me a time and a trip. It was greatly appreciated and thank you. Great guys and customer service as well.

I’ll start by saying I took my car to three other places and paid the diagnostic test at all three and nobody was able to detect the issue. I brought it to Star and the guys there were able to detect the issue less than 30 mins. My car was fixed the same day at a reasonable price. Being a female and getting my car fixed has been a challenge. I’m happy I found a new place that’s will make this process easier moving forward.

Upfront, honest repairs. Will go back for a few other things to repair. They replaced a control arm for me on a 2013 Dodge Dart.

Consistently great service, great attitude, and very knowledgeable. I originally went to Big Sticker which is closer to home but Big Sticker failed me due to monitors not ready, I paid no big deal because I live very close to that shop. So, I understood and instead came here which is 20 miles from home to give my baby time to get ready she passed, I re-paid and went to work.

Great place and guys. Didnt know this place was here. I coasted in the parking lot as I had no brakes for 15 miles. Brian Ken and Gary got my truck in right away. They found the problem immediately, the problem was getting the brake line and abs sensor. This is a 2018 Ram 1500 so they stayed on top of it, and we finally got the parts. Yes was a long time there 5 hrs but not their fault. About 3 hrs was locating parts and waiting to get delivered. These guys were great. Showed me what was wrong and explained what was need. This is now my go to place from oil changes to my next set of brakes. Will be a lifelong customer from here on out. Also they didnt clean out my wallet. The price for the repair was reasonable would have paid more at the dealership and I have my truck today and not in a week or 2 from my dealership. Thanks guys again.....Lyn Wolfe

1st time customer- now a lifetime customer. They are honest, fair and truly care about their customers. I went in because my A/C went out. They called and told me my tires were so worn they were guaranteed to blow out. I wasn’t even thinking about my tires, but thankfully Gerry and Ken were looking out for my safety. I just had an oil change at Jiffy Lube a few weeks ago, and they didn’t bother to mention my hazardous tires even thought they filled with air. Guess that’s because they don’t make money from tires!I am grateful for STARS Auto and recommend them to all my neighbors. They truly helped me with courtesy and without breaking my bank. 😊 Great job fellas!!

Vehicle broke down, barely made it off the frwy. I noticed STARS within short distance and pulled in. I had never used this shop before but I was treated with professionalism. They diagnosed and made repairs while I waited. It has been a week since repairs and no problems noted. As far as I’m concerned their the best and if ever needed again I will be a return customer.

I would always recommend this place. Went in with a gas leak, they knew exactly what the issue was. Got it fixed and on my way in a day. Always very fair pricing and great service. I love having a mechanic I can always depend on to get it done right.

It was my first visit to Stars Auto Repair and from the time I drove up to have my vehicle serviced, I was treated like family. They were ready for my vehicle when I arrived for my scheduled appointment and as it was being serviced, they came to me in the waiting area and took me to my vehicle to show me something my vehicle needed that they found while servicing it. As they continued the scheduled maintenance, they also found other items that needed to be serviced in the near future and explained each item to me. I was then provided a list of these items with estimated costs of each in order to get my vehicle in top condition. We then reviewed these items and discussed a schedule of how they should be performed when I decided to have them done.It was a great experience and very refreshing to have my vehicle serviced at a place where they had my best interests as their priority. If you are looking for somewhere to have your vehicle maintained, remember the qualities that I found here that you wont find just anywhere: Honesty and Integrity along with great/guaranteed service!

I have only been in Texas a short while I have no family here I was on my way to work a normal day at the stoplight at Bingle and 290 and my truck cut off and refuse to start again I was lost I didnt have anybody to call I look to my left and seen Star Auto Repair call the number the guy came out to where I was at check my car to see what was wrong escorted me to his shop I had no other means of transportation but my truck he offered me a loaner car to get me back and forth to work while he work on my truck for a fuel pump I was expecting for them to just tell me you just get it out new car Im not going to say that the payment was not expensive but his customer service was worth the price they now have a loyal customer in me so if your car breaks down give them a call hell work with you and make sure you can get to work thank you so much

Star Auto Repair is my go to place for auto and truck repair for my family, since 2005..Found shop looking for a special type of auto/truck repair place by luck.Star is a dealer quality repair shop without the hype. Goods/Service? Worth price charged.The only problem is with great reviews? I drive an old truck 1998 it’s what I love to drive but it needed some complete system overhauling including electrical and suspension and a a few more items. They made a list broke down the parts and labor - oh yeah my brakes had gone out so we started with that lol. I got my truck back quick and I knew what it would cost me up front. And it drives great again.

They are nice, but very pricey.They want to charge $300 to change my head light. $1200 to replace 3 motor mounts. 500 for rotors !!!!!!

Ken and crew have been servicing my 97 f150 since 2014 and has done a fine job keeping the rig going. Its rolled into 366k+ miles and were looking forward to many more. I get phone calls before any proposed work is done, and I have a chance to approve or deny any work done.We recently had an issue where a part no longer existed in stock for the fuel system and the team came up with an alternative and very sound approach. That was many months ago and Ive not had any issues with the solution. Good thinking on ones feet here.

Was asked to rate as 5 start before I checked my repair. Unfortunately had to take the car back that same day. A day later car still making the same sound. Have to wait until Monday to take it back they are closed on Saturday. They are now a 3 star

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went in for an Inspection and the guys STOLE my tire off my vehicle.First they claimed that I needed to buy a tire to pass the inspection, when I told them I had a brand spanking new one underneath my vehicle they said they had to charge me to put it on. I was there for 1 1/2 hrs. And I was the ONLY customer they had. Inspection only takes about 20min and a tire swoop maybe another 20mins if that. I finally got out of there spending $50 for everything. When I left My gauge light was on saying I needed air in my tire. I went back to get air in the tire they switched. When I stood outside to watch the man fill it up I indicated I wanted 40psi in the tire. He said Ok you can sit in your truck I will be done shortly.When I drove off the second time my gauge shows that there was only 34psi in the tire. I brushed it off and was like Ill do it myself. Later I started noticing my truck driving bad. It started sliding when I turned a corner, it hydroplaned while on the road with sprinkled rain. Later that evening I get out to put more air in my tire and lord and beholds this is NOT my brand new tire, this is not the same brand I bought thats on the other tires. This tire had no tread, it was cracked, and had a couple if nails in it that had cracks coming from the punctured area, and the brand was wrong. I went back the next day and they wanted to tell me that I must have had someone switch it after they changed it. Also they took pictures of my tires before I left that day. I called the police and they came said it was some funny business going on and she did not understand why they took pictures of the tires on my truck when I came in for an Inspection. Also why did the pictures not show the whole tires with the name brand on them, just the size at a really up close range.The police stated that since I did not have pictures of my tires or receipts of the tires with the brand name and so on and so forth they could not do anything and it was a civil matter. But she did write a report stating that she do believe that they stole my tire off my vehicle. And told me to go small claims court to get justice.SO...DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!!! They are Con-artist.
