Mr. Mario and his establishment is top of the line. I will not be looking at other mechanics to do my repairs from here on out. Flaco was the mechanic who did the work on my truck. The man went above and beyond. Left my truck running smoother than it has ever been. If youre looking for a mechanic to do work on your vehicle, I would suggest Marios Automotive everyday of the week.

Mario is excellent at his job. He was able to find the problem and give me a quote. Unfortunately the price was too steep for me and I had to go somewhere else for repairs. Point is he found the problem after I visited about 5 other shops with no luck.

Mario’s Automotive did a great job fixing the air conditioner on my 2016 Dodge Challenger. Turns out that my car has the new R1234YF Freon that only the dealer and very few repair shops carry. The dealer wanted three weeks to do the job, Mario’s Automotive got it done in just a few days and at about half the cost. They also gave a one year parts and labor warranty.I am glad I found Mario’s Automotive and would very highly recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly folks and excellent, prompt service

My experience with this auto mechanic. I took my Cutlass for a problem to where my car was shutting off. Mario, the head mechanic there took several days to actually look at the car. He finally saw it and charged me an arm and a leg and as soon as I let the shop, the car did the same thing. He likes to charge a pretty penny and I do not recommend this shop.

Great bunch of folks go out of their way to help. Use them without any reservation. I have for 12 years!

Mr. Mario listened attentively and gave me his advice. He actually listened. He gave me quotes on how much the work would cost, and well as the cost of the parts. When I picked up my car, there were no surprises. The quote was the same! Prior to calling Marios Automotive, I called several Nissan dealerships only to be put on hold! 2 vehicles I started taking there because I read Marios positive reviews on his services. At first I thought this man was a genius he explained all the problems then when I got my vehicles back they were either the same condition or worsehe just puts Band-Aids on vehicles he doesnt even work on the vehicles and it seems to me he sits in a office all day because he is never sweaty or has his hands covered in grease stainds. Finding a good Mechanic who does quality work and won’t overcharge you is very difficult to find in any city, let alone one as big as Houston. Luckily there is a shop like that it’s Mario Automotive! When needed they drop me off and they will pick me and always gets my car ready for me on time. I took my car in for an alignment, after a test drive I waited for the service to be completed for an half of an hour to be told it could not be completed unless I got my struts replaced or bearings done. The top of the page stated the test was based on a 20inch rim setup- I have 18s on my car may or may not make a difference but Im stating the facts. Had a warranty so I Took it to BMW and they stated there were no issues and that they dont know how the got the numbers they had but the car wasnt as out of balance as they presented to me. I personally feel the owner was a decent guy, trying to do honest business. I just suggest getting a second opinion before getting work done.

As a woman I can truly say I trust this shop, especially since his office staff is mostly female and the most friendly group ever. Mario has saved my car many times. He really explains the issues to you and makes sure you understand whats wrong; when he diagnoses your car he always lets you know what is the highest priority, which is always keeping your safety at the top of the list. Marios is very well priced, especially since I have never had issues with faulty service which is priceless in my book. I know I will be returning year after year and sharing this Houston gem with all my friends.

We have taken our cars to Mario for years. They do fantastic work, are very fairly priced, knowledgeable, and so trustworthy. Have done multiple jobs from transmission replacement to minor repairs. We drive from conroe because no one is better!!

I am a college female student so of course I rarely know anything about cars and what not. So with that being said, when I came to this place, my dad was with me, but I was the person who was using the car that was being evaluated and so I really appreciated when the owner himself spoke to me directly about what was going on with my vehicle and was able to communicate with me effectively about further issues that I might be dealing and what to do in case any of that would occur. I highly recommend anyone to attend this Auto Shop! Theyre bilingual too! So thats a plus!

The service here is great, I trust Mario with my car. My bumper got messed up, but I needed my car for school. It was an emergency, and he fixed it in two days. He explained what was wrong with it and what needed to be done. The staff here was very friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job in very short amount of time. I cant say enough good things about it, Im very satisfied with their service. I would definitely recommend this place!

The Honda people wanted around $400.00 to just look at it. Mario and his guys took it all apart and cleaned it and put it back together. It runs great now, and cost was so damn reasonable. He is a great mechanic, and has great support team.I live in Conroe and he is my mechanic! Enough said right!?!Sam J.

I took my truck to get the ac fixed and he charged me over a grand and I told him to fix it because it is very hot well he took 2 weeks and after I got my truck back 2 weeks after it started doing the exact same thing i took it in for once I took my truck back I told him to call me and let me know what was wrong with it he never called me back I called back a week later just for him to tell me it was going to be 800 more to fix it after I told him I was picking up my truck he said give him some more time that he would call me back at the end of the day to see what he could do to help me he never called me I gave him 2 extra days and he never called me so I went to go pick up my truck and he didn’t even have the decency to speak to me or tell me anything I currently have my truck at another shop to see if he even did the work he charged me for I will keep you guys posted

Ive always hated mechanics, I honestly couldnt give you a good reason why, but the second I walk into a shop I usually shut down. Not at Marios, they were flexible with me, understanding, and were willing to answer all my (probably stupid) questions. There was no pressure, they give you the facts of what needs to be done, and leave it up to you on how you want to proceed. Great shop with great business practices!

They dont call back

I had my car there for 8 weeks. Only paid for a broken shift cable and tow which was $700. Rest of the time it just sat there. If they didnt want to work on it they could have just told me. This place is a total rip off. Take your car to the dealership. It will definitely cost the same.

Friendly and fast service and reasonable prices.

I own a 2008 Acura tl type-S, and recently it had been acting really strange the electrical system kept blinking out.. I took it to the dealership and 2 other places.. No one could tell me what was wrong.. Finally I took it to Marios Automotive, he found out the issue even driving it for a whole day to make sure it wouldnt die on me again. He was the only one who could figure it out and on top of that gave me an unbeatable price. When no one can figure out whats wrong with your car goto Mario you wont be disappointed!

My mother in law took her mini van in and Mario took the time to explain what he was going to do. He does really quality work.

I had a dealership issue which the manufacturer couldnt fixed but was willing to charge me a large sum of money to program a throttle control, to make along story short I brought my vehicle here and it was fixed in 2 hrs for only a fraction of the cost of a dealer...... im a mechanic but I will highly recommend this place to anyone

Worked on my car and always have done a great job.i have not had a problem with the work or Marios professionalism.

They always find what the exact problem is. Other mechanics are not so exact. Its not as cheap as other mechanics but they are extremely good at fixing. Honest people too.

I did not like my experience here, i spent 5 grand on a 2 grand engine job..i felt like i got ripped off but my lack of knowledge on part prices is what got me, i recommend people to take their own parts..another thing i didnt like is that they didnt clean my truck after they were done, is like they charge dealer price but give you corner street shop service.

He literally got my Ford Thunderbird convertible fixed right before my wedding so I could have it in my pictures I cant thank them enough

Take forever, bad service, dude just went back in his office to watch TV and I was in waiting room too long, they didnt have alot of cars to fix, I scheduled a hour prior to going and they said 3hrs for alignment!!!
