I took my 2015 Jeep Wrangler to Auto World West Loop 4 months ago to figure out why it would take 2-3 ignition switches to get my car up and running. They ran diagnostics and clearly communicated the mechanical issue. I appreciate their transparency and for not pushing any unnecessary adjustments/repairs to the vehicle.Fast forward to last month (August) where I got involved in a collision with another vehicle which damaged the front right passenger door area of my car. After I took the car out of the storage lot, Auto World essentially took over and sent all the necessary paperwork, damages, and estimates to the insurance adjuster. They lent me a 2015 Jeep Compass to use while my car was being fixed and updated me once a week on the status of my car. When it was finally time to pick up my Wrangler, it looked good as new!Props to Raul and the Auto World West Loop team for going above and beyond to take great care of their customers!

When my wife’s vehicle had a battery issue and wouldn’t start she was very unsettled and felt somewhat helpless. After she was able to get her car jump started I had her go straight to Auto World. Of course they took care of the issue without delay (even ordering the special battery and having it delivered within an hour) but most importantly they made her feel safe and taken care of.

If you are seeking a latte and gourmet cupcake, go elsewhere. If you are looking for competent, professional automobile service with polite, friendly individuals, this is the place. They performed work that the dealer could not complete, they explained their work so that I could understand it, they were prompt, took me home and picked me up, and all at a fair price. I have found a home for all my automobile service and repair needs.

I live near their shop and see it often. So when I broke down nearby (my shifter cable broke), I contacted them. So FIRST- I was impressed with how quickly they served me by coming to my disabled car. SECOND- after being resigned to having it towed, their mechanics were able to get it going and bring it back to their shop, saving me a towing charge. THIRD- they diagnosed it quickly and had it fixed for me the next day. All in all- a quick recovery from a serious situation. Thanks to them!

My own experience from Auto World is the front counter are friendly and professional at what they do. I had my Jeep tow to the Dealership because it wouldn’t start on and had a engine light on. The advisor explain to me I needed a new engine because the Jeep model that I have has many problems in the past and I needed to leave my Jeep overnight so I did the next day the advisor came to me with a quote of close to 5,000 dollars to replace the engine other components that needed to fix but the truth is while I was asking questions who wouldn’t give me a straight answer all he kept saying is that type of model has electrical items and they don’t sell the parts on the store. I left frustrated and I recall there is the small shop on on 610 call Auto World West Loop next to my Job that sells Jeeps and more. So I had my Jeep tow the next few days. I spoke to Raul and explain what was going that my engine wouldn’t start and had a engine light on. I left my Jeep overnight and so Raul called me and explain to me I needed a new batterie and a tune up thats it. Raul gave me a quote and I agree it was a fair price that week came to pick it up and drove with a sense of relief that there still good people with good intentions to help out the community. My tire blew out due to construction at Richmond and 610 service road. I was able to drive a few yards to get to auto world and I am so thankful for their help. It would have taken me an hour on the side of the road in the heat to get my tire off and and replaced with the spare. We’ve been taking our cars to AutoWorld for almost 20 years. Reliable and on-time service. Really appreciated our recent visit when the AC on my 2013 Infiniti JX35 went out the day before a cross-country road trip. Raul was able to order the parts and get it done within a day so my trip was not postponed. These guys are knowledgeable and great at explaining what isn’t working and how to best fix it.

Brought a car here for a pre-purchase inspection. The team at Auto World was very helpful and flexible, because I had to move the appointment several times. They found everything that was wrong with the vehicle, gave me a detailed report and all for a fair price.I explained my less-than-stellar situation with the dealer I was about to buy the car from and how I think he is taking advantage of me and they advised me that what he was doing is actually illegal and that I should file a complaint with the DMV.My experience was really good and I will take my car-related business here whenever Im in Houston and can only recommend everyone else does the same! I brought my 2012 Yaris for a routine oil change and replacement of rear shock absorbers. They were very clear and transparent about pricing and easy to work with. They provided me with shuttle service to my home while the repairs were being done so I would not have to wait in store and then called me promptly when the repairs were finished. Having just picked up my vehicle from a repairshop in Dallas, I drove to Houston to celebrate my Brothers birthday. On the way my SUV started making a strange noise from the front passenger side wheel area. I called Auto World while I was still on the road. They told me to bring it right in. They fixed a minor error (at no charge) that the Dallas repairshop made. I could not have been more grateful and I referred everyone I met that weekend to them. My review is a few weeks late, but THANKS Guys! I may save my repairs for Houston next time!

Not only did they do an EXCELLENT job communicating and fixing the problem, checked out the entire van, had it completed in a day, kept it overnight until I could pick it up...they also knocked out a dent in my front bumper AND polished my headlight covers which were extremely cloudy! Raul and Gerry were very friendly and professional. I set an appointment and they were able to install and balance 4 new tires, do an alignment and oil change, all in under 2 hours. I went in as I had noise coming from my serpentine belt. I thought it was the belt slipping. Instead of just doing the job I asked for and taking my money as most places would have, they were honest enough to call and tell me the belt was fine. That it was my ac compressor (I was aware the AC wasn’t working) that the noise was coming from, probably the compressor clutch. They saved me from an unnecessary repair and didn’t even charge for the diagnosis. If I do decide to repair the AC, instead of just selling the car, they will get my business.

I brought my Sprinter van here hoping to find a good, reliable place for service other than the dealer. So far, Ive had Auto World replace the battery and a transmission seal. I was very pleased with the work and the price.I thought I needed a brake job and was ready to move forward with that work but after inspecting the brakes Raul told me they had more miles left on them and suggested waiting. Auto World could have moved forward with the work and made a buck then and there but they were honest about the situation. I like that.

Very friendly and accommodating customer service. Just needed an annual inspection done and everyone was very polite and considerate. I was concerned about how long it might take since I was on my lunch break from work, but they got it done and I was out the door in under an hour. They even gave me a chocolate bar with a special Happy St. Patrick’s day note written in a child’s scrawl, which I’m guessing was from a daughter of one of the employees. This was such a cute and thoughtful gesture, which I very much appreciated and I’ll be sure to consider Auto World for other vehicular needs in the future because of this positive experience.

Been coming here for years. They always do the best work. I have a 2001 F150 so starting to show its age. Raul always explains everything to me - what I need to do now and what can wait. I had a problem with it starting last year (wasnt the battery) and after many attempts of trying to recreate the problem for them they just kept it until it happened and discovered the real problem. They either provide me a ride to/from work or a loaner vehicle so I can go about my business. Trustworthy, honest and good work.

WOW! My car had been at airport parking when the last tropical storm hit and there was flooding at the parking lot. I was concerned that my car may have damage from the flooding so I looked online and Auto World West Loop had good reviews so I called over there and explain what happened. I talked to Raul and he asked me several questions about the vehicle and said that it should be fine but I could absolutely swing by and he would take a look at it just to make sure. I went there this morning and he greeted me warmly, even though it was first thing in the morning right when they were opening, and then offered me coffee or water and brought my car around to lift it up and take a look at the bottom of it. He checked the air filter, checked for any moisture, or any damage to the vehicle. I was very relieved to hear that there was no damage to the vehicle and then he also took the time to scan it to make sure there were no codes that could be a concern and let me know about some corrosion on the battery terminal and options to be able to fix it. I was thoroughly impressed with their shop and would definitely go there for any needed service! Thank you so much Raul for an exceptional customer experience.

Auto World is an outstanding vehicle repair shop. I have used their services for over five years. They have repaired my car, my wifes car, my three kids car as well as my mom and mother-in-laws cars and every time we have taken a vehicle to be serviced we found Auto World to be excellent, fair and reasonable and very, very honest. They have a fantastic warranty but I have not had to use it because they get it right the first time.

This place is great. They helped me with a non-mechanical issue when I couldnt get the bolts out of a truck tailgate I was replacing. I took it in to them and they had all four bolts out within 20 minutes. The staff is friendly and personable. Ill definitely go see them next time I have any car trouble.

Auto World West Loop is probably the most honest and trustworthy vehicle repair shop in the Houston area. He wont try to up-sell you to spend more, but in many cases can just fix the problem without replacing a whole system that many dealers want you to do. Saving you money. I recently had my car repaired here through my CARMAX extended warranty. The service I received was of the best quality. As a woman sometimes car repairs can be intimidating, but Raul made the process seamless! Even calling after I had picked my car up to make sure I was satisfied with the repairs! Excellent service and an ethically sound company. I went there when my headlights were not working. They looked over my headlights and some wires weren’t connected. This was discovered after some moderate troubleshooting. They did this all for me... for FREE! This is actually the second time they have fixed a major issue on my truck for pennies to no charge for work other shops had quoted hundreds of dollars. God bless you!

I would give 10 stars if Google would let me. This is my second Jeep that I purchased from Steve and he took good care of me. I traded in my first Jeep that I purchased from Steve last year and to my surprise he gave me $300 less then what I paid for it. I drove my Jeep for $300 for 13 Months...WOW!!!! Other dealers where trying to steal my trade in and Steve did me right and now Im driving a 4 door Jeep. I was in and out less then an hour. If your looking for a good deal and a honest guy to help you then I recommend Auto World for your next used car.

I was told I needed a new alternator by Auto Zone, but the honest and knowledgeable mechanic at Auto World told me my alternator was fine. They also looked everything over in a timely fashion. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my repair needs.

Ive had Auto World work on my vehicle before and had a positive experience so decided to bring my car back for an oil change just a few days ago. Raul, as always, was very helpful and expedient getting my car in. Gerry (the owner) was there and after chatting for a bit, was asked by Raul if I needed to be anywhere close-by. Since I did have some work to attend to, asked for a ride to a local coffee house. After being dropped off and picked up by Jaime once my vehicle was finished, I paid for the oil change and my car never drove better. At first, I was worried because I havent been this place, and my car just happened to be dropped off at this place by a tow truck driver. I had no choice but to fix my car at this place.I know that a lot of mechanics usually rip off female drivers and fix something else that doesnt need to be fixed so that they can charge more. That has happened to me a couple of times. So I was always afraid of trying new mechanic without my friends reference. But actually they were nice and gave me a fair price. They showed which part was wrong, explained in detail, and gave me an estimate before fixing it. They also updated my car situation by calling so that I can be on the same page.I would recommend this place if you are a female driver. I am planning to continue to go this place for fixing my car.

Ive been here a few times for oil changes, maintenance, and state inspections over the past few years. The service (and most importantly the price) has always been fair and honest in my opinion. One nice thing I think is pretty cool is that they dont try to push upsells on you, they just tell you what they think is wrong, provide some options, and let you think about it.The parking lot can also be a bit tight but Ive never had an issue finding a spot to park.The waiting room is a bit boring (what waiting room isnt?), but while you wait for your car you can wander around the nice neighborhoods nearby or go to some of the nearby restaurants.

These guys are just about as honest as you are going to find in any auto repair shop. Hmmm, after writing that, I feel maybe it didnt come out right. Let me try again. These guys are the most ethical and honest guys you are going to find, and they happen to also fix cars.Ive taken at least 3 vehicles over the last 15 years, and they have treated me consistently during that time. The first vehicle had seemingly major issues, brakes not working, engine quitting at low idle at stop lights, a nightmare for a non-technical guy. The looked at it and said a vacuum hose/tube was broken/leaking. It was less than $50 and less than an hour later I was back on the road with everything working perfectly! I was hooked at that point.Since then I have taken other vehicles there to get repairs. When they were not able to make the repair, they were honest with me and said they could not do it and gave me a good reason. Recently, they told me they couldnt repair/replace the steering component on my Tahoe because it required programming by the dealer, but that it would likely be covered by my extended warranty. The warranty provider confirmed they would pay them to do the work, but they insisted that they could not do it and to take it to a dealer. Some less ethical or honest people might have taken on the work since it was a warranty claim and then not done the job right. Not these guys. We ended up at the dealer and they made the replacement and we only paid the $100 warranty deductible on an $1800 repair.If you have any car problems, do not hesitate to contact these guys and rest assured that they will give you the right level of service you need and be upfront and honest with you.

I had an issue with my Jaguar wabling when I drive. I took it there and Roy was so nice to me. He went out of his way to provide me a loaner car. Turns out my issue was one of my rear tires. I have car shield and he could have easily made up all kinds of issues and gotten paid for it. These guys do business the right way.
