Really enjoyed staying here but website needs updating. There is no longer a hot tub as shown in many photos. No breakfasts at all, not even the common COVID breakfasts of packaged goods such as cereal bars, granola bars, packaged muffins, packaged oatmeal, juice, nothing. Thats not a deal breaker, but dont tell me on my reservation that the room includes free breakfast. If I had known that, I would have come prepared. Bed and a/c were great.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the noisiest hotel I’ve ever been in. It stinks inside of the room. If you need rest this isn’t the place for you. No help from staff. Air condition did not work in room. Staff totally disregard guest. I would not recommend this place. I have never had such a horrible experience as this. Just horrible!
The stay was nice but when getting in the elevator and the pot hit me in the face it was tough and it was all over the second floor where my wife and my room was; that was a little much. The attendants did a good job, very knowledgeable and handled all my needs. Over all it was a great stay. I am not a hater of pot each to thier own, but I am not a user and dont really care about the sent.
Breakfast is a to go brown bag that has a pastry, chewy bar, and lemonade juice. Beds were uncomfortable, even saw a small roach in the corner of our bathroom. Had to get to hotel by going through Best Western parking lot. Ice machine on my floor was not working. Nice staff though.
Positive: That after some fussing with the front desk lady I was able to get my hundred bucks whole back on my card leave the building never to have to darken its doorstep again thats what I like best about the hotel. Negative: Rude staff especially the old woman who worked in the morning wouldnt change my rooms when I was disturbed by the noise from the pool or if they where going to move me I have to pay a half day rate to move across the hall away from the noise.

I like staying at the La Quinta. The rooms are always clean and neat. I get a discount from my job for La Quinta, but Ive stayed in them before I got the discount. Whenever I travel, I stay there. Ive only had one bad encounter with the receptionist since staying in one, but other than that its a really nice place to stay.
Positive: On our return visit on 6/16/21 the front check In staff was very short and was not friendly. But on our first visit on 6/10/21 we had a great experience with the Front Desk check in he was helpful and very polite. Negative: Not enough pillows provided on the beds.
Convenient location. A little dated but is good if you need a place to stay. It is located behind The Best Western.

There is no real breakfast like La quinta is known for and the website doesnt tell you that or that they charge you an extra $100 upon arrival for incidentals I was told. It gets refunded back a couple days later so they earn interest on your money. Update the website to reflect your current policies.
I originally only booked my stay for the weekend but got stuck when the ice storm hit. I just want to say I loved my room my bed was comfortable, fresh coffee everyday and house keeping. Bridgette went above and beyond when we had no electricity she remained calm and professional at all times. The whole staff were wonderful and friendly I am definitely returning because of the way I was treated. A special thanks to Bridgette and Martin for making my sister and I stay much better. You are very appreciated.Thank you.
Nice and clean. Great staff. The tubs liner is peeling and you dont realize until you almost fall in the shower. Extremely slippery.
The bathroom floor was dirty and they need to redo the tub! Other then that I loved my room. The ceiling was very tall and the room was set up very professional.
The day of April 3rd my home had been exterminated by pest control. I am pregnant. We had left my home with open windows for various hours to let the chemicals go and cleaned. When night came.. we kept smelling the chemicals and my husband started to feel nauseous. It was around 4AM and we decided it was really bad to breath the air of the house so we decided to get a Hotel nearby.We chose La Quinta because of the flexibility of having pets stay with us. We were exhausted and frustrated of the situation that we just wanted to get to the hotel right away. As my husband was driving to the hotel I called the Reservation line (which by the way thought it was the Receptionist) lady said she had an available suite and said if I provided proof of Insurance she could lower room a little more. The nice lady on the phone stated she could leave the room for $75/night + $20 for pet fee and of course $100 retention fee just in case anything happens. I gave her my card information, phone #, name etc. Lady on the phone stated I would not be charged until I got to the hotel. Towards the end of the call she asked if I needed the confirmation number or if she wished for me to email it to me. I informed her I was right outside the hotel and can get it there. Lady said another lady by the name of Diamond would assist me. I appreciated the help and hung up.As I hung up the line I walked towards the hotel lobby.. receptionist asked for my information. None of my information popped up. She then asked for the confirmation number and when I tried looking in my email... there was nothing 😞There I was with my husband, my pregnant self and my two dogs exhausted and frustrated. I had to end up paying $89/night plus the additional fees I was not charged twice but my frustration was added that day. I was completely Disappointed. Only reason why there are two stars and not one was because I had no problems with the receptionist nor the room in which I stayed in. I just wished Reservation line knew what to actually do when someone calls in around 4:30AM to reserve a room. Reservation line apologized about the mistake and had seen that it was their fault yet did not offer to make things right. Will no be staying here again.
Positive: Overall a nice hotel. Negative: What was most disappointing to me was there was an odor in my room that guy me the moment I opened the door. The closest analogy I can find to describe it is a pile of dirty socks in a locker room.
I dont know what other people are talking about this was a great place to stay. Big clean room, fresh towels (could use some softener). Staff is very friendly and courteous.

Great staff. Got in at midnight and the shuttle driver still came and got me from the airport. Very convenient!! I stayed the night, left my pick up truck at the hotel (no cost), caught the shuttle to and from the airport (no cost), and stayed another night. See you again soon!!

Place seemed really clean and neat. Did not notice any pest problems in my 3 days here.. Everyone was helpful, towels, bedsheets were changed daily as well as the trash taken out. They also have a laundromat and a pool! So I think this honestly a really great deal to be in the $50 range.
Hotel was OK. decently clean. This hotel is still not serving a full breakfast when every other hotel during our trip was. We got a bag with a cinamon roll, fruit and juice. If you want breafast I would stick with a Hilton chain, stay away from Wyndam. All the Hilton hotels were serving a full breakfast. Going forward I will not use a Wyndam chain again.
Very clean and friendly place. The pool is great for all ages. Close to the airport and still a safe feeling area. I would stay here again.
My hotel experience was great, because of Diamond. I called multiple times before booking and she answered all and any questions I had. When I checked into the hotel, Diamond was there to assist me. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Thank you so much!
Its a older hotel, but clean rooms. Has a hot...dont think its working, Water was green.People are living there. But for what you pay for the night, you get what you get for the price. 😒

We have been here for about 2-3 weeks due to the winter storm. The staff here has been very accommodating seeing as I just had a baby during this craziness. But our new place is finally ready and we will be checking out soon. 🙏 God is good.
There were carpenter ants chewing up the windowsill.The showerhead was so old when it was adjusted water started spraying out if several cracks swamping the bathroon.An unidentified thick, red goopy stuff on the unit beneath the TV.Mattress Pads (I guess that is what you call them) thick, heavy material that didnt fit and had no elastic to hold in place so it rolled and bunched beneath you.Removed pad to find old pee stains on the sheet like bag the mattress was zipped into.Left notes for housekeeping who decided it was better not to clean the room AT ALL.Worst hotel experience EVER.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and relatively close to all of the attractions we were going to. Breakfast was not open but they offered brown bags filled with fruit, a pastry, and an apple juice box. Yes, they do charge $100 for incidentals, “but” you will receive it within 2-5 business days after you check out. Would still consider staying here again.
The lobby smelled unpleasant. Our rooms TV did not work and I noticed a but of mold in the bathroom (or maybe it was discoloration, idk). But it was quite, mostly clean.

Need to have toothbrushes and toothpaste in bathrooms. More floor towels. More coffee and creamer and sugar by coffee station. The breakfast is only two tiny muffins, a piece of fruit and a small granola bar. Also the pool and hot tub is closed permanently. So what your getting is just a room so the high cost of it all isnt worth it.
Clean Room, little on the warm side but eventually it cooled down a little. Big bath tub for a good soak. Only complaints are is the horrible sack breakfast (which on website it said continental breakfast) and the pool/Hot tub and gym was closed (said open on website). So if your interested in breakfast & pool call them to verify before booking.But the Employees were extremely nice & very professional...the young gentleman that worked evening shift was nice enough to recommend a few restaurants around the hotel.
We were not aware that the airport shuttle did not start pick-ups until 2 pm so we ended up ubering to the hotel. They did provide an early check-in which was nice. We called prior to booking to see if there was a hot tub and when we arrived the hot tub was broken. The rooms were recently renovated; yet, the entry light did not turn off and the tub drain was slow.
We needed to stay somewhere while the house was being painted.
Jeff, Bridgett and José really stand out as fantastic, kind and caring employees. I would recommend this place if you’re in the area or traveling in the Hobby airport! Due to covid, hotels aren’t serving breakfast, but this La Quinta gets to-go breakfasts for guests EVERYDAY. Their snack corner is always stocked well and has anything from meals to tortilla chips! Clean rooms and hard working maids. Five stars!
Our stay was during the power and water outtage. The staf was friendly and did what they could to accommodate us.
Had a nice weekend stay. Beds were comfortable, very quiet and friendly checkin and out. Pool was closed. Next to the airport but very little noise.

Was stranded by tropical depression Imelda, needed hotel accommodations for the night. La Quinta had a beautiful king bedroom available. The front desk clerk was very kind and compassionate to my circumstances. This hotel is clean and I truly enjoyed my stay. The breakfast served the following morning was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.

Don’t waste your time trying to book in this hotel! I stayed here only 2 days and that’s all it took for for me! When I checked in my room, there was a horrible smell. Me and my husband could not figured it out until I opened the refrigerator ......there was a bag if I don’t know what ! The housekeeping ladies need to do their job and actually clean. The next day, the a/c failed on us. We asked for another room and they told us they were still cleaning it, which was fine.... we waited. It was around 6 pm when I asked for another room and that lady in the front desk gave me a speech of how she couldn’t give me another room. Fine! Can we at least get out sheets cleaned and new towels ? NEGATIVE! She said no because housekeeping ladies were gone. So we had to manage to use 1 towel for 2 days and the same sheets. No housekeeping for us.If you come to this hotel beware!
Roaches in room and bathroom told front desk said exterminator just in not only one but killed about 6 the nigh I got there late at before 10 and room cancelled even though I paid for room with credit card and said late arrival had to wait until 20 min bad experience poor job laquinta iam reward member as well highest level I was any way been a while since stayed because of Covid

I had a 12 hr difference between one flight and the next. As soon as i walked in the door, they had my room ready. The staff was very nice. I will be back since i travel for work very frequently. Thank you La Quinta for great service.
One of the best hotels in the hobby airport area
I picked La Quinta because it was the most inexpensive hotel with an airport shuttle. I missed my connection and it was closest to the airport, had to catch a flight the next day. Breakfast was good for hotel breakfast, hot scrambled eggs and sausage, fruit and yogurt. The coffee was better then most too. I booked online and actually got a nice view of the garden, bed was comfortable and room was clean. If I get stuck in Houston Ill go back.

The pool is still closed due to Covid, and they arent serving any breakfast, but they dont tell you that when you make a reservation. The front desk even has a sign saying theyre doing grab and go breakfast right now, but that isnt true either.Shuttle driver was the best!
I totally enjoyed my stay here. The lobby area is very open and inviting. I was greeted warmly by the lady at reception and my check-in was smooth. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a big work desk and plenty of drawer storage. The room also had a refrigerator and a microwave which is always a great bonus. There was a small fitness center available. They offered hot and continental breakfast options.

Its an ok hotel. Definitely self serve. We had to roll the crib up to our room and go back down to get an extra blanket. Staff is helpful, rooms are clean. Shower drain is slow so by the time you finish your shower, youre standing in a couple inches of water that eventually drains. All in all, about what you expect for the price.Basic breakfast and its included with the price of the room.
First room we had had strong musty smell to it. The bed was firm and comfortable. The pillows were kinda lumpy, they werent bad but they deflated pretty quickly to the point that you needed to get another pillow to stack it The breakfast had fake eggs and bacon that was thinner than paper. 3 types of cereal, bagels, cheap pastries and a waffle maker. The food was edible, thats it. This review is unfortunate because we stayed here about 7 months ago and it was great. Not anymore, wont be back.

We checked in and when we got in the room our daughter opened up one of the drawers and found a roach. My wife went to plug her phone in and found another one and I went to call the front desk and there was one on the phone. We went to the receptionist and told her. She apologized and then we called Hotels.com and they refunded us. Then we drove down the street to the Holiday inn express, it was nice and clean. I would not recommend staying here.
Rooms constantly smelled like cigarettes. Immediately reported the smell after checking-in and the staff at the time tried to explain it must have been me. Just no. Who wants a cancer stick. I dropped in Houston to surprise my daughter for her Senior Prom and choose to stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites! Very nice and clean hotel!!! Bed was nice and comfortable and I slept LIKE A BABY! From 1-10 the breakfast was a 10! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice fair priced hotel! Thank you La Quinta Inn and Suites for make my stay well worth it!

Great hotel!! It was clean, spacious, welcoming, quiet & the staff were awesome. The Continental Breakfast was filling & the shuttle to the airport was perfect.
The first room I was in (102) smelled of wet dog and cigarette smoke. I went o the deck and the clerk moved me to (116). Again, it smells of wet dogs. This is a handicapped room, and was not needed. The mattress is so old, saggy and lumpy no one should be sleeping on it. I’ve never stayed somewhere that smelled so badly and is owned by Wyndham.I would really like a full refund. They’ll be no sleep tonight, because I can’t breathe appropriately to do so.
Do not believe the bad reviews. I am currently staying here on a job transfer until I find a apartment. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern clean and bright. AC works very well. I have not been disturbed by any noises. Parking lot is well lit and has enough spots. Off the main road so it does feel safe. Granted there are not alot of food options close by but and Uber ride is less than 10 dollars . I would recommend this hotel highly. Shuttle to and from airport is prompt and on time. I have not encountered 1 rude staff member from Housekeeping to front desk staff. I am truly enjoying my stay here.

I stay at La Quinta properties throughout the country. This facility has had the construction upgrade with the new look. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. My room was clean, though the bed needs to be replaced. The fixtures in the shower need some work, I am sure this varies from room to room. The front desk clerk was not so nice. On 3 occasions, I found my self interacting with her, she was rude. Twice it was related to the fact she was more interested in what ever TV program she was watching across the lobby. I met some business colleagues in the breakfast area, we had to tell the TV was so loud. When I asked her to turn it down, she scowled at me and turned it down slightly. I think maybe service oriented work is not her strong suit.
Are room had mold on the bathroom wall, the room really stick, I had to keep walking out, I did not want another room, I wanted to leave period, but you know how that goes, they ladies at the front desk was nice also
