Ive used VIP Car Rentals for many years and am very satisfied with them. Locally owned and very friendly people. No issues whatsoever. They quote a price for you and you can rent a car quick and easy.

Had to return the rental same day. Car had funky smell. Got charged $150 sanitation fee and day rental of $140. I would avoid this company. If you really need a vehicle I’d suggest canceling plans than have to go with this location if no other rentals available. I saw the ratings but gave it benefit of the doubt. Def a regrettable decision.

I liked their advertised price and location. The advertised was just to get you in. Turned to be a worst experience ever. They are scammers. Charged my card $1850 without my permission after I went back to the mainland. They said they had to fix the car. The check engine, the ABS, the VSC, the air bag lights came 30 minutes after I drove away on my way to the North shore. I wish I read their reviews here or under Waikiki Discount Car Rental, their other name. TOURISTS BE AWARE!!!

Good quality cars for the price provided, generally happy to negotiate and a friendly team. Location is great and super convenient to Waikiki. Perfect for short or long term rentals

Terrible place to rent. I rented from them and they charge you a deposit and insurance that doesn’t cover anything. Didn’t even have any scratches or anything and they refuse to refund the deposit. Had to argue with the owner, who would just start shouting and swearing, to get the money back. Stay away and go to a different place

I rented a car here. Then some thieves smashed my car’s window and stole my bag. This car company refused to use insurance to cover the fix cost and bullied me another $700 to fix only a car’s window.

The prices are all fake and incorrectly advertised. Would not trust !
