Ill be going to this barber from now on. Tammy took me in on short notice for a quick cut. I was amazed, not only in how quickly she worked, but the the very good quality of the cut. Ive never had a cut look this good on the first-day. I dont know how she did it. She must have only worked a whole ten minutes, and yet managed to take my big floppy mess of hair and put it into clean shape. This was a very clean cut, no imperfections. And it did not suffer from that awkward look when something is too cleanly cut. It looked very natural.I am very happy with this haircut. Its been a long time since Ive been able to say that. And I will be very happy to return here in the future.

It was great finding a good barber near me. Shes popular. Everytime I walk past, she has a customer. Its better to call for an appointment. She did a wonderful job on my hair. And for old guys like me, she offers a Senior rate.

Miss Tammy has graciously provided for me several haircuts in a row. I have always left her small shop satisfied with my work haircut. Her pleasant demeanor and low key presence is both welcoming and appropriate. I appreciate her reasonably priced non foo-foo approach. I would have given her 5☆ but she needs A/C.A nice person who shows appreciation of my support of her.

This is my favorite barbershop in Honolulu. Tammy does an incredible job, she is very nice, and her prices are the best I’ve found in the city ($15 for a haircut). Tammy’s cuts have also consistently been better than any other shop I previously tried (even ones that were more than twice the price).I’ve also found her to be quite generous with clients. After my first haircut, I handed her my credit card and she informed me that she only took cash. I offered to let her hold my cell phone while I went to the ATM since I didn’t have any cash on me. She said not to worry and just pay whenever I am back in the area. I was surprised by how laid back she was and still have never experienced that kind of flexibility or generosity from another business owner.Tammy gives great haircuts, is very generous and I highly recommend her.

Love location, hours, parking, price, especially efficient service and friendliness. Some places no like talk and some talk to much, this place its prefect like shes a mind reader knows exactly what you want. Be patient, if your in a hurry.... come back when your not; or call ahead.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Tammy is not a barber. Shes more like a butcher. She destroyed my hair. WORST barber EVER. She blazed through the entire process. Missed crazy factors of cutting my hair. Worst haircut Ive received on the island. My hair wasnt even, I have lines where he cut it deeper than the rest in the side, and the hair on the top of my head is extremely uneven. I will never let Tammy cut my hair again. IT seemed as if she was on SPEED. It looked better before I went, and I was already a week and a half late from my normal appointment at another salon (my regular stylist was on vacation and my backup stylist was booked until after Id be out of town). Now I have to find another place to get my haircut. Tammy sucks and it absolutely shows. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Do NOT go to this lady if you want to get a nice haircut. Messed up my hair leaving uneven lengths. This was my first and last time ever going to her. Tammy was rushing me through the process while talking to other customers. It was clear that she was not focused on my hair at all.She was very quick didnt take her time and rushed me out of there. When I went home I realized all of her mistakes and it was a terrible day for me because I had a wedding to go to.When confronted, she was rude, talked back to me and didnt take any responsibility for what she had done to me.

I hate to write a bad review on any business owner but when they suck this badly... it is important to share the experience, so the same thing doesn’t happen to you!This lady is horrible. I called in advance to make an appointment. She had me come in at the time she was available. When I arrived, she had a few people ahead of me (which was very odd considering I had made an appointment with her already)After waiting for 30 min. I felt a tad uncomfortable because I just witnessed her cutting propels hair in such a hurry. I decided to NOT listen to my gut feeling and gave it a go.(As an FYI) My haircuts typically take between 30-45 minutes. She was taking calls and cutting my hair at the same time. It’s like she was trying to pile on as many customers in her store as she possibly could. Money hungry and greed was definitely obvious. It was unbelievable how she didn’t take her time to concentrate and do a good job. I don’t know how, but she was done in just 7 minutes.I had to continuously correct her. Have her put my apron back on and do what she missed. One side of my head looks completely different than the other. Never showed me how the backside looks (Through a mirror), never checked to see if I was happy. Never double checked any spots or compare one side to the other side in the mirror.I had to repeatedly ask her to revisit my head… to cut here and cut there. She managed to run a shaved line over my side-burn that looks very bad. Not to be mean, but a blind person would have probably done a better job.In the end, she missed even more spots like my neck and my sideburns that had uneven hair. There was a patch of hair on my neck that she completely overlooked. I ended up going to another barber in Chinatown and fixed her errors there. When I called and asked her about her errors, she claimed it’s my fault that she didn’t shave my neck clean. Her own words “If you don’t tell me, I won’t do it”. Which is bizarre. It is all part of the haircut.Never again!

Tammy has a lot of experience with fade haircuts, and for the price you get a straight razor on the neck, hair wash and shoulder massage at the end. Whenever Im in town, I always stop in for a cut. Her shop also has free parking in the rear.

I asked for a haircut and said half an inch longer than that. Not only did she not do that, she made it half an inch shorter than the original haircut. Theres still hairs that are an inch longer than the others so its very uneven.
