The staff was super friendly n the Escape room was constant fun. We chose the Merlin room since we were celebrating my sons birthday n wizards r totally his thing. We finished the quest with 25 minutes to spare n it was non stop excitement. Were def going back to enjoy yet another room n challenge our skills once again. Thx for the great time!

My teenage son and I went to this location. We chose the Haunted Pirate Shipwreck (Downtown Hollywood) This was my first time doing an escape room and I had so much fun! The bonding my son and I got from this was amazing. We did have a huge help from Liz and Brianna, they were amazing! Super friendly and highly recommend to anyone we are going back to complete one more!!

Ive completed the Wizard and Pirate rooms at this location and I wish there was a way for me to wipe my memory to experience them again fresh. With my group of four we barely managed to get through the rooms in time, and it was a great experience. The GM Liz was very helpful and made sure that we were having a good time. I fully plan to come here again.

Loved it. I have played about 40 escape rooms. This place was fun and high tech enough. The story line was good. And almost everything made sense in terms of clues. I will definitely be doing another room with them.

Was my first escape room experience ever and I am hooked! We did the wizard room which we were told was the easiest one. We found it challenging and fun at the same time. Our host was amazing, took care of us and made sure we had a great time! Would totally come back and recommend for all.

My friends and I had never tried escape rooms before so the timing was perfect. The staff was friendly and informative and the facility was clean. We mastered the hardest escape room Saving Hollywood and it was so much fun. Teamwork makes the dream work!!

We completed the Wizard room and managed to escape with 5 people.the room and puzzles were amazing not too challenging and very fun. We did seek hints and help when prompted from game master Liz who was very nice and informative. Will def return for the other rooms.

Went yesterday and was greatest by a very friendly female employee with long dark hair. The room was amazing but we came back again today because of the great service we had. Beat another amazing room today. Shout out to the employee for sure.

This was our second adventure in 2 days, and all I can say is, woohoo! We beat Merlins Academy yesterday with 19 minutes left and the Haunted Pirate Ship today with 26 minutes left. Were going back tomorrow for the trifecta!!! EDIT: We came, we saw, we kicked its butt! Boxroom Escape Games are amazing! We finished Operation Saving Hollywood with 29 minutes left!! It was a blast!! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great hour!

Had an amazing time. Staff is friendly, puzzles vary by room and difficulty, and everything appeared very clean. Was even able to make the staff die laughing with some unorthodox ways of solving the puzzles, especially with the cauldron lol. Great place give it a shot!

Super hard room! The clues we had still gave you room to solve the puzzles yourself, and Liz was great!

Such a fun experience! We had a group of pre-teens and adults and everyone had fun. Great for all ages and really made you think outside the box. We did the wizard room which has really neat ways of unlocking and finding what we needed. Definitely more fun than the other escape rooms. Liz was our guide and was super patient and gave us clues without telling us the exact answer. Definitely would go back and try the other rooms.

My mom brought me, a friend and dad for my birthday. It was such a surprise! We all had so much fun figuring out the clues. We went into the wizard Merlins room and used our cunning and witt to find our way through. It was truly a magical experience. Thumbs way up! 👍🏼

Great escape room! The game masters are really knowledgeable and have a great sense of humor. They are willing to give hints if asked and really make you feel like it is a custom experience.

We did the pirate room on a rainy day of our vacation.It was so much fun. It was pretty challenging but so satisfying when we figured it out. Liz and Michael made the experience a great one! If you’re looking for an indoor activity in a mostly outdoor community this is definitely a fun one!

It was 7 of us and we did the pirate room. It was sooooo much fun! We had a blast and it was challenging. It took all of us to complete it and we still needed help in the end.

We Highly Recommend BoxRoom in Hollywood, FL. They have well thought out games with great set design, and our Game Master was amazing. Hope to see a new game pop up at this location. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

This was the perfect place for a 13th bday. Did not required much time and energy on my end to reserve online and show up. Everything runs on time. Personnel are friendly and amenable, specially Liz + James. Between reservations I went and had something to eat in Hollywood Blvd. and later return for another hour. I will highly recommend this for teens and families that are looking for an engaging activity that will bring everyone together. It requires team work, so let your kids know before hand.

This was so much fun!! Great family activity! We completed our mission in Merlins Wizarding Academy with kids ranging from 10-18 and everyone enjoyed it and participated. The puzzles and clues were challenging enough to have us wondering and strategizing the whole time. Cant wait to return to do the others.

I had so much fun playing Merlins Wizarding Academy and want to come back for Operation Save Hollywood! The rooms have their respective challenges, but they wouldnt be fun if they were easy! The puzzles and riddles are well thought-out and detailed, and with some critical thinking and/or help from the staff, like Michael, I was able to breeze through. :) Will definitely come again in the future with friends! The best part is that Boxroom has a strict COVID procedure in which they sanitize everything thoroughly after each room plays. I felt very safe playing here and really enjoyed myself!

We were unsure about doing an escape room right now with the virus, but we love them so we gave it a go. I must say, Boxroom always does it right. Everything was clean, we were the only ones there, and it felt super safe. The Haunted Pirate Shipwreck is the best escape room weve done in South Florida.

We had my daughter’s 7th Birthday party at Boxroom Escape Games last year. 13 kids and 10 parents. Unlike all other kids parties boring for parents this one was a real family fun when we did Merlin’s, Pirate’s and Spy’s escape rooms together with children. Boxroom also brought a birthday cake, hid a card at an escape room, and after doing rooms and eating cake kids hung out at the lobby riding a virtual reality attraction and playing board games for a couple more hours. Highly recommend for any private party or event, or children’s party 7 and up!

We had SO much fun at Boxroom. Themes of the rooms were fun, it was challenging, and we made it out with four minutes to spare!

My family loved these challenging rooms. Such fun! Elizabeth made it even more enjoyable with her friendly welcoming personality. We dud all three but think the pirate was the easiest. Try it you will love it!

It was fun and exciting and challenging to try to figure out the clues. We were in the spy game trying to save the whole city from vaporizing with a nuclear bomb. Our mission was to find the clues that would lead us to the hidden bomb so that we could disarm it and save our city!! Unfortunately, we all perished...lol!! But we had a blast! (Pun intended)

Wish we knew about the discounts ahead of time we would of ordered more than one room. The Pirates room came along pretty well. Some stuff didnt open even though it was answer corrected otherwise had a great time

She said it was so wonderful and wants to go back.The only reason she didn’t give a full 5 stars was because she said the voices were creepy. My suggestion is find a way to make the experience less creepy when little ones are participating.Overall I’ve not seen her come back from a friend event this excited - so thank you.

We had a terrific time, lots of laughter and challenging tasks that we haven’t seen in other escape rooms! We didn’t finish in time but loved it regardless! If we happen to be back in town, we will definitely visit again!

What a wonderful experience! The young staff were very kind and helpful, they added to the experience. The place is new, neat, and adventurous. Since it was our first time at an escape room, we werent sure exactly what to expect. The friendly staff were respectful of our every need and we appreciated it so much. The escape room was challenging for us as we had to keep asking for hints. Aside from that, it was fun to explore for clues and put our brains together to determine a solution. Lots of laughter and memories, we will be back again at this same location!

We took two families with 5 kids and 5 adults. It was a blast. We did two rooms. The puzzles were interesting and fun for all the kids. The wizard and save Hollywood rooms were not scary and kid appropriate. The staff were polite and helpful. The area also has plenty of eating locations so you can make an afternoon of it.

Checked out Boxroom for the second time - brought some friends along with me because I had such a great time the first time. Played the O:SH room and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! The owner/manager, Jennifer, was awesome. I would highly recommend this company’s rooms for everyone. Great design and great puzzles. Tons of fun.

We had a great time. The host Justin was kind funny and great at setting the theme for the room. This was our first time and we definitely plan on returning. Oh and the surprise at the end was pretty damn cool too. Dont worry, I dont believe in spoilers.

Did the Merlin room, easily the most enjoyable, most organized, and the best at leveraging technology of the 4 Ive done (other venues, in other states). Loved it.

What an AMAZING time!! Our hostess, Brianna was very accommodating and professional. We did this for Fathers Day and what a great idea it was. If youre looking for a group activity where half of your group[ wont be on their phones, this is it. A must do! We will be back!!

We had a great time here. The place is nice and clean, the staff very friendly and the puzzles were well thought out and challenging. It was great to put away our phones and work together solving the challenge. We definitely want to go back.

As someone who has done many escape rooms in the past I was excited to try out a new escape room I hadn’t done before. I did the Haunted Pirate one. It had poorly designed puzzles where you had to just guess what to do next with no hints as to what to do in order to proceed forward. I don’t want to say so as not to spoil.It also felt like the people monitoring were not paying attention to us. When we’d ask for hints we’d have to elaborate where we were or when they did they would say something we’ve already done which wasted more time. They didn’t even know we finished the room until we asked for a hint. We waited for 10 minutes looking around for another clue after we got the treasure with no indication that we could actually leave. When we asked the monitor they said they were answering a call. There shouldn’t be so little people working that the person monitoring us was taking calls and not knowing that people beat the game 10 minutes ago...Also there needs to be a timer because without one there is barely any suspense. It seemed very low budget for the price, especially when you have Fox in a Box in Miami that is around the same price and is leagues better.

This place is so fun! I got an hour with my mom on the haunted pirate ship. We got puzzled at times but Elizabeth was so helpful and fun to talk to before and after the amazing time we had ! Im Soo coming back for the others!

Came here with my family on the last day of our Florida vacation and we had a blast!! The rooms were challenging but not overtly difficult so it was perfect for everyones first time. Big thanks to Briana for making us feel welcome and being an overall great host.
