The employee Scott never showed us the car, walked around the car with us to show us the damages or gas meter. He just told us to sign the agreement and told us the car we are getting and thats it. But when we took the car back, the same employee left the counter to check the mileage. Both days we went it was only one person working there. Scott definitely wasnt friendly.

Canceled my reservation at the very last minute because they didnt have enough cars. Had to pay $150 extra for the exact same car and reservation at the airport.

My reservation supposed to be at 12 pm. They didnt have my vehicle ready so thats mean im late for everything i have scheduled for. I did the reservation 1 week ago. Really bad place. Waiting and waiting and also the Chrysler Pacifica i was getting it has a SAFETY RECALL so i need to wait. 1 and 30 mins waiting, not coming back again!

Reserved on website. Made no mention of increased cc hold. Price was double what I paid a year and a half ago for the same car. Never returning.

Budget Car Rental is my favorite company to rent from when traveling. The Representatives always provide excellent service. The many years Ive used the service there has never been a problem. I also love their Fastbreak program the most effective, efficient program ever hassle free.

BARE BONES OPERATION,located on a car-repairs heavy strip of State Road 7, the place can be easily missed. And, once there, you must be patient as too few staff process rentals on a system that includes dot-matrix printers popular when Reagan ruled. But the harried clerks are capable and professional, while the rates and cars are good. Usually . Venue is best approached from McKinley Street.

Rep at counter was so rude acted like he didnt feel like being bothered with me. Stated something was wrong with my license but not that they were suspended and they have a sign that says you can sign forms to attest he didnt even acknowledge when i said something about it.

This was by far one of the smoothess rentals Ive had. Its only because the man working that morning (I hate that I dont remember his name) was gracious and courteous from the start! What could have been a disaster because of the none existence of returned cars from the holiday before, turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Great customer service and quaility. I recently used this budget car rental to rent a moving truck. The moving truck was clean and got the job done. There was no hidden fees or any problems when I returned the truck, which typically happens with other rental companies. I will definitely be going back to this budget next time I move!

Lost our reservation and at the same time another customer walked in behind us with the same issue. The manager did try to get us taken care of quickly after but it took an extra 30 minutes to re do the paperwork.

Easily the worst moving experience of my life. Quoted $1450, charged $2300. Tow behind trailer was broken, took a day to replace. Couldn’t get my truck because they didn’t have one after I booked over a week and a half ahead of time. Told I’d receive a discount. Nearly didn’t have enough money to make the 1300 mile trip because of this. Took three weeks to get my money almost back, but promised another discount. Discount never happened for either of these. Do not use this company or this location. The customer service is terrible both in the store and on the phone. It took 15 calls over two weeks to talk to somebody that had any clue of what was going on. Corporate is just a bad.

Scott told my husband he could return the car, best day after the reservation (they close at 6 with no after hour drop off) and he wouldnt be charged since he paid for the day. Dropped the car off at 801 and got charged $20 late fee. Thanks Scott. Also a ton of fees, we might as well rented at the airport. Tire battery fee? Energy recovery? What a scam.

Reserved a pickup truck online. Got to pickup location and was told they didnt have it but could rent me a different car for twice the price. I said just give me whatever car you can give me for my reserved price. They said they would have one in 30 minutes. I reluctantly agreed. Two hours later my car arrived. Beware of this place. Never again!

An absolute Nightmare! We got a car which got a flat within a half hour (so it clearly was damaged when we got the car) It took 30 hours and multiple expensive taxi rides to got a replacement. We missed important appointments and still got charged for the car. Worst customer experience ever. Stay away from Budget...

Customer service is ok, but he need help can’t do it all by himself. Never have cars and it’s like why stay open if there’s no cars to rent out. Why make it so difficult to rent a car either, that why I love Enterprise no headache at all.

Budget has a lot of catching up to do with customer service, but in regards to this specific location I must say, the worst ever !!! Rude counter clerk she lacks professionalism .Said a reservation does not guarantee you a car, she didnt offer a free car upgrade or anything. Said to call a different location and find out if they had any cars for us. Horrible experience, after contacting customer support and being on the phone for over an hour I ended up having to go to Ft. Lauderdale airport to pick up the car. I dont think I will ever be renting from Budget ever again. The good rates are not worth the hassle we were put through .

Horrible service when we went there to pick up the car we had booked online, they provided us with an upgrade without informing us, wanted a small car since we knew we were going to drive a alot so wanted something cheap on gas. Got to the car it was an SUV and it was not cleaned from the previous clients. Went back in the guys answer was well its the only one I got did not suggest another option so we were about to cancel when I asked if he could transfer our reservation then the guy says no but we can take this one and go to the airport and switch it... really you could not have suggested this before!! He did not seem to like the fact that we we French Canadian tourists!!! I definitely would not go back there.

The customer service was absolutely horrible. The man at the office had no professional skills. When he had to make a revision to the contract he wanted me to do it instead of him, which is his job. When I insisted that the professional thing to do is for him to do make the revisions, he gave me a big attitude. He didnt inspect the vehicle or even showed me the specifics. Very rude and unprofessional.

Well, I wish I could give a no star. I booked a fullsize car to pick up at 12 noon on 05/10/2018. Id talked to the agent at the Hollywood, FL location (1501 SR 7, Hollywood, FL 33021) @(954) 894-5622 in the morning and he confirmed that the car would be available to pick up at 12noon. When I went to pick up the car, he told me quote there are no cars here at this time you need to call the 800 number. He just chose to ignore me offered no assistance. I was very disappointed. well, when I talked to the Budget customer service, there werent able to find the car at the same price. Id have to pay $30 more. Please stay away from this place if youre in a hurry & have made travel arrangements prior to the pick up.PS: I normally dont give negative reviews to any business. I am posting this because I dont want anyone else to experience this.

Horrible communication at the Hollywood FL location...Made a reservation 2 days prior and went to pick up the truck and trailer and they failed to tell us they did not have a trailer... 20 min later still waiting and then they tell us they do not have a serviceable truck....why not call us and give a heads up?!?!? We had to cancel our reservation last minute and go elsewhere.Needless to say, were never booking through Budget again.

Good prices if youre willing to travel out of airport. Very small facility with one guy working and zero other customers on a Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, they did not have a car so we were instructed to go to a different Budget location about four miles away. This was ok with us as we were locals, but could be a real annoyance if you taxied here from the airport.

The place Is 10 minutes away from the Fort Lauderdale int airport. 5 minutes away from where I usually stay. The service was great, me and my wife asked several questions that were answered kindly and effectively.The customer service was top notch.

The woman at the front desk barely spoke English when I was asking about my military discount. She did not do a thorough inspection, and after I left the property, I noticed the gas tank was not full and a crack was in the windshield. I walked around the vehicle with her, however we were busy documenting multiple scratches on the car that did not notice the crack in windshield till it started raining shortly after we left and I had to turn on the wipers. Im extremely angry that she lacked the capabilities to complete a thorough inspection and now I will be responsible for replacing a windshield the last customer damaged. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE BUDGET!

I gave it three star because the place is conveniently close to me and they have an avis as well as a budget. The flee in this place is very limited. I place a reservation, when I went to pick it up they did not had my car, as a matter of fact they didnt have any cars at all. They drove me to the nearest budget location to actually pick up a car and I was downgraded but at the same rate since I gotten a special already. The staff always been good though.

Went in this morning with a reservation for a suv. She said sorry don’t have a suv. I asked what am I supposed to do and why would you not call me and she shrugged her shoulders. There were clearly a few suvs in the lot and I saw my name on the reservation list and I had my paperwork. She did not offer me a car or a solution or a ride back home. She walked away from me and left me in tears in the office with her no where to be found. I don’t think she understood what I was saying or could speak English well. I will never rent from them again. They share with Avis and would be the same employee. I used the rent from the all the time with no problems and had the best customer service but I have never experienced this ever. I have never wanted any one fired before but to walk away and hide from a customer who was not yelling or screaming but pleading for help.

I will never again book with budget. They were no help after my husband was driving around for 2 hours because they provided him with 3 different locations. They have no clue of what they are doing.

While the price was right, there were lots of disappointments. Mainly, NO ENGLISH by staff. Owner speaks english, but he wasnt there when I returned my vehicle early. They kept telling me in extremely broken English that they wouldnt let me return it. Then got very offended when I tried to explain that Im not understanding them. Furthermore, the vehcile I rented was dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke and had a decent sized gash in the sidewall of a tire. Had a reservation to use the thus same place again, cancelled and took an uber to the airport instead.

Parking is bad. Service can be slow. Dont go here if you are in a hurry. They dont have a customer restroom🤔. However, they are nice and this location allows prepay. I have rented here at least 5 times.

This place is horrible we had booked a reservation a week in advance and when we got there to this location one the guy was 10 min late to open up and then they didnt have any moving trucks 3 other customers had reservations and they also didnt get their trucks. Then I called budget customer service and they were not helpful at all Im never going to be renting from this company ever again.

Watch out! Pay attention to what you sign. I requested not to have insurance added to my contract and I was charged for it. My mistake for not looking thoroughly at what i was signing. Just before me someone else had the same claim of being added insurance without it being requested. Very unethical practice. Costumer service was useless.

I made a reservation for 9am, I show up for my reservation, fill out all the paper work, pay for the truck, then waited around for AN HOUR while they prepped the truck. Then at 10:15 they informed me that the truck doesnt work and didnt have another. Extremely unprofessional.
