Got a same-day appointment late in the afternoon for a gel mani. They were very accommodating and friendly. Mani was quick and well done—very happy with how my nails turned out! I’m by no means a hand-model, but I love l having my nails look good.

I got mani pedi yesterday .I made a reservation at 7:00 pm and arrived around 15-20 mins earlier .I felt they were rushing me . One person was doing my pedi and at the same time another was doing my mani (it was very uncomfortable to me and not at all safe (Covid ) ). Also, once done .I asked for the nails oil so I don’t ruin my polish, they barely pointed it out for me quickly and let me put it to my nails and wear my shoes (with no help at all ) . Also they were cleaning the floor next to me while I was trying to put my shoes on .I ddnt hate my nails, they look decent and I might be coming back if I am in a rush and I need a quick service . However, it was not a pleasant experience so I don’t really recommend this place .

This nail salon was very clean and the staff was tremendously friendly!!! However, I deducted two stars because my nails, yes they were gel, chipped literally the same day and it was pricey just for them to chip not even 5 hours later??? Disappointed ): Won’t be returning.

I love love LOVE this nail salon!!!! I only get my nails done here since I discovered it. The pricing is great, they have a member loyalty program, they are VERY clean/sanitary, and I always get complimented on how beautiful my nails look. And they last a long time, not like some salons that water down the polishes so they chip in 2 days. Staff is all super friendly and they are ALL talented. I lived in DC for almost 30 years and never found a salon I liked with fair pricing: I was always bouncing around. I couldnt love this place more!!! I was surprised the owner got a negative review I think hes wonderful!!!

I have been going here for 7 years and refuse to go anywhere else. Husband & wife owners, Boomi & John, know my family & I by name. Clean, professional, AFFORDABLE (hard to find in Hoboken), and nails that last. Their loyalty program is the icing on the cake.

This place is an absolute joke. Yes the manicures are cheap, but you get what you pay for. The place is DIRTY, OLD and just GROSS. On top of the mediocre manicure the owner is undeserving of any females money. I was in the middle of getting a manicure when he removed my technician to work on someone else who was annoyed that their manicure was taking so long. who does that? so then i had to sit and wait. I sat there for about 5 minutes before I got annoyed and just went up to pay whatever i owed for half a manicure and leave. He made me pay in full and then threw my tip money back actually at my face. He then started laughing after completely degrading me and said he doesnt need business. I cant imagine with all the women that come in there that anyone would feel ok be treated like that. He has no respect for women... Go to V spot, owner is awesome and they do a great job.

Ive only ever gotten a gel manicure here, so I can only comment on that service. My nails are done well every time - no peeling or bubbles. My gel manicure routinely lasts more than two weeks.Staff is friendly. Tools have always been clean and sanitized when I have gotten my nails done.

I absolutely LOVE Metropolitan nail salon! Having lived in Hoboken my entire life, it is hard to find great quality work for fair prices. I discovered metropolitan nails a few years back and I have been going there ever since. The staff is super friendly as well as the owner at the front desk. I always love my mani pedi every single time I go. They even offer a rewards program which I find super unique and helpful in the long run. I was surprised to see any negative reviews regarding this nail salon. I have always had a pleasant experience here and I highly recommend it to anyone. (:

Not the cleanest nails salon I’ve been to but they are cheap, which is the only reason I’ve went back. This time I Called made an appointment then waited 20 minutes for them to tell me 5 more waited another 10 before walking out. Meanwhile they were telling walkins 20 mins. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Quick service, friendly staff, but dont expect high class

Metropolitan Nails employee burned me badly during bikini wax. This was 6 months ago. The burn still hasnt healed. I put A+D cream on it, I put Vaseline. Nothing helps. The burn just itches and burns. I dont have the time to go to a dermatologist but Im afraid of why this thing hasnt healed already.I had one wax after this one at Met Nails, and I was in pain for several days, AGAIN. What a nightmare!!!I also asked if I could borrow a magazine I started to read while I was there (it was few months passed its edition date), and the owner charged me $5 for it?!Also, Ive been going there since they opened, and they have some sort of reward system. If I get 10 pedicures, I get one manicure free. I still havent made it to my free manicure...:) And I wont, cause Ill never go there again.

Love stopping by here for my regular mani/pedi even coming down from the Heights. The service at this salon is great and they do nice work. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other places in Hoboken. Would definitely recommend!

It was a nice environment & the panipedi was good. Just a little rushed (only happened because their was alot of people & it was almost closing)

Been going here for 10 years. Never ever one time left dissatisfied. Prices are the same as 2004. Pleasant. Girls are all good. Owner is lovely. Reward point system. Love this place. $25 mani/ped MTW.
