Superb 3M company. Been in business in the Low Country for over 20 years. Professional crew, impressive efficient 3M heat sun UV film application on our Hilton Heat Plantation retirement home. The 3M film significantly cut house solar heat right as summer starts. Highly recommend Coastal Installations.

Very good folks, quick response and extremely patient. Initially had them out to re-install film on our windows only to find out that a newly replaced window that was installed by another company actually did not match the rest of our windows which were factory tinted and the glass that the glass company installed was clear. So upon finding this out we had the film company put the job on hold until we got the window issue resolved. After five months the new window was installed by the glass company and I called Coastal Installations back and they broke schedule to come out and finish our work. They did a great job and I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them as well.

The film I got was sun and safety film. Dennis took time to explain the pros and cons of Ultra 50 vs Ultra 70. He recommended Ultra 50 and I took his advice. I am happy with the result: the house feels comfortable; theres plenty of light but no glare. The installer was a meticulous craftsman and completed the entire house (27 windows) in under a day and a half. I have recommended Coastal Installations to friends.

I would highly recommend using Coastal Installations for their 3M residential window films/tents. They did everything they said they would do; they were punctual and efficient and the windows films we opted to use have made a tremendous difference in keeping our home significantly cooler, particularly in the rooms where we had the window films installed. We have been extremely happy with the work from Coastal Installations.

Dennis, from Coastal Installation, promptly came to our condo and in one meeting he measured our windows, showed us options to meet our expressed needs, and informed us about the process. He gave us a quote which was reasonable for the quality of the product and scheduled installation the following week. The two installers were prompt, professional and efficient. We wanted protection from the sun for our furniture & furnishings as well as increased energy efficiency, but we did not want our view impacted. The latest project with Coastal Installations was the third project at my home. As before, their work was executed perfectly. From initial quote to completed install was seamless They showed up on time and created minimal interruption of our daily routines.The product is excellent as I had issues with the sun bleaching my hardwood floors before the film was applied. It definitely had an impact on the interior heat generated which translates into lower A/C costs.I recommend the higher quality film. Once installed, it is very hard to see any degradation in viewing things through the window/film.

A very nice sales rep. who lived in our development gave us a very good presentation on this product. Our concerns were with preventing storm damage.The installers worked in a professional and courteous manner.Whenever we had questions about our new window film, the lady in the office was very helpful and responsive.We have 35 days to watch for any problems with the film. With a week to go, everything appears to be in good order. We trust 3M products.

We are very pleased with the installation of our window films. We already notice the positive impact on reducing the UV rays and heat in the living room. Window film allows us to still enjoy our beautiful view while reducing glare. The team was thorough, prompt and left the area clean. Everyone wore masks and was very alert to COVID precautions. We had all the windows in our home covered with 3M Security film primarily for added hurricane wind damage protection. Coastal installations gave us a fair price and we are very happy with the results. Coastal Installations did a wonderful job installing film on every window in my home...including skylights. The workers were on time, courteous, and kept the work area clean.
